I am positive that babies who die are taken at once to heaven. Mark 14:16 Keep praying for them. We know WHO is taking care of them. I gather things from friends and neighbors and take them to an orphanage near me. Some people sew beanies for kids having chemo.
Take some of that pain & shower it on another child. It eases the feelings.
    Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
We will see those we've loved and lost, again. I learned to ask the Holy Spirit to comfort me.

Jennie, the only way to find restoration is through forgiveness, forgive your ex husband for the past abuse, and for poisoning the kids against you, forgive your children as well then yourself. Ask for forgiveness also for however way you may have hurt them, if some parts of what your ex husband told to your kids is true, acknowledge it, try one last time to make amends with them and if it still does not work out, leave and surrender the rest unto the Lord, move on and continue in prayer for them. I will still continue praying with you. May the Lord bless your marriage and keep it strong and spiritually healthy

One of satans other names is: DESTROYER. He is the ACCUSER of the brethren. He is a murderer, a liar. Revelation 12:10, Job chapter 1-2; Zechariah

Actually in Isaiah chapter 14:12-16, satan says I WILL 5 times!

One of satans other names is: DESTROYER.

There is the Will Of God. God gave FREE WILL to Adam and Eve.

But there is another will operating that is not a part of Gods purpose for earth or mankind. I think when satan was kicked out of Heaven, he retained his WILL.

Don't blame God for the bad things that happen to you and others. We have Jesus now. I look at Job and he was a righteous man. Keep yourself & family soaked in prayer! Be alert

I struggle to read the KJV version. I have a 1st class honours degree (proves this means nothing in today's society) and I find the wording difficult. I often lost the story because of the focus needed on the wording. I tried an easy version of KJV but I'm afraid there would be missing pieces. I want to read the KJV version and maybe with God's grace I will understand it if I perservere.

Will we be shown the truth and will man return to our Lord ,God, and Savior. This world is being taken over by evil. When will the awakening happen? I feel it must be soon
  • Ratiocination - In Reply on 2 Corinthians 4:4 - 6 years ago
So why is it "just a metaphor" or "a logical fallacy" or "taken out of context" when it contradicts your sect's dogma, but gospel truth when it matches your particular beliefs? I understand about figures of speech and poetic license, but the bible is rife with easily misunderstood and opposing passages; thus, we have tens of thousands of Christian denominations, each convinced it has The Truth and believing all the other guys are off base. And everyone has proof texts from the same book. Wouldn't a divinely inspired book by an all-powerful "only 1 God" be able to do a better job at clarity than that?

He has violated your marriage vows according to the Bible. If he refuses to be reconciled & attend couples counseling, I would see an attorney.
We are called to peace. If this involves shouting and door slamming, it's not good for the kids peace either. Kids need a calm mother and a calm Dad. If it takes 2 houses, it does. I've been thru this and you'll be ok. Keep your focus on the Lord.

1 Corinthians Chapter 14: 26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
....But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church....
not one Pentecostal church I have ever been to have ever followed this in scripture.
tongues is the least important gift. no interpreter = keep silent.

1 Cor 12:28 - And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. (Tongues the last least gift.)
1 Co 12:29 - Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
1 Cor 12:30 - Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
1 Cor 12:31 - But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
1 Corinthians 14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues

So maybe someone can clarify something I cant seem to find online..... God gives us free right. Which has me wondering how he knows predictions like this? In some stories he gets hurt due to others actions that he did not forsee. So how did he know Jacob would come to rule over Esau?

This scripture is comforting to have an example of how I am to behave during this COVID-19 crisis. I will obey the law until the law overrides my call to worship and fellowship with the brethren. We are one of the few churches still meeting, even though there is an exemption for churches, many are choosing to keep their doors closed. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to demonstrate our respect for our governors but more importantly our God. He is after all the author and finisher of our faith. He is the one the world needs to see through our testimony. There are several stories throughout the WORD that shows believers being obedient until man's law undermines God's law. God Rules.

Read the scriptures ,in them you will find eternal life. Depending on the wisdom of others who are outside the will of God is not His will. Study to show thyself approved. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will guide your path.

Hebrews 9:27 It is appointed for men once to die then after this the judgment. When we are in Christ, the bible says that we are new creatures, created in Him. Romans 14;8 For whether we live,we live unto the lord. Whether we die we die unto the lord.Whether we live or die we are the lords. God is the God of the living not the dead. There is no fear in perfect love. Colossians 3: 1-4 Set your affections on things above, not on things of the earth. For ye are dead and your life is hid in Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears then shall ye also appear with Him in GLORY!

Isaiah 10:18 - And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth. (Body and Soul different)
Isaiah 26:9 - With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. (Soul and Spirit are different)
Genesis 1:26 - And God said, Let US make man in our image, after OUR likeness
Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
IF one man is Body, Soul and Spirit which is 3 parts God is 3 in 1.

  • Adam - In Reply on 2 Corinthians 4:4 - 6 years ago
Hello, I'm not sure if you're joking or serious, but in case you actually believe that I will be happy to clarify. Christianity believes in one God, period. There's several Bible references saying this, including 1 Corinthians 8:6, John 10:30, 1 John 5:7-8. Now, let's break down your comments. The 3 dimensions or personalities of God is not 3 gods, the scripture is clear.

Satan as 'god of the world' is a metaphor for satan just as 'prince of power of the air' is a metaphor 2 Corinthians 4:4. You could use the same logical fallacy to claim that satan must be prince then? No.

Jesus is called the 'arm of the Lord' so does that mean he's a literal arm? No.

The Bible is clear = only 1 God.
  • Ratiocination on 2 Corinthians 4:4 - 6 years ago
So, um, how many gods do Christians believe in then? Let's count. God the Father: 1. God the Son: 2. God the Holy Spirit: 3. And Satan, The God of This World: 4. Wow! Add a few more, and y'all can begin approaching Hinduism or animism. But your official line is there's only One True God? Still going with that one, yes?
  • Fred scanlan on Mark 11 - 6 years ago
"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing"; and I will receive you." we are sanctified by His blood we are forgiven. Being one with the Father, forgiving one another for sins. Jesus says believe in God, asking the Father for those things you desire even unto the moving of mountains. Christs authority is all we need in the hour of temptation! Overcoming sin avoiding temporal and eternal separation from the holiness of God. Be ye holy for I am holy. The power and authority that is in Jesus Christ. Christ reminds us our baptism, you are consecrated unto god,you have been bought with a price! Mark 11

Talk about fire and brimstone! Please recall, It's the goodness of God that leadeth thee to repentance. -- Rom. 2:4. All you street preachers mix some honey with your vinegar. Put yourselves in the shoeless footsteps of the skid row sinner. He is likely using (abusing) to escape their sinful state. They likely have already experienced the wrath of Satan. He and she are trying to find solace in a dark and crooked and perverse world the they have already been subjected and are currently enduring. So you are the light of God to them and representing God's love for them. What an honor, privilege in the exercised authority and (exousia) power you have - in the absence of the physical Christ!
  • K D Harms on Revelation 7:14 - 6 years ago
In the RSV Version, Chap.7, V.14 Must be understood in light of the intermediate context of Revelation Chaps. 1-3 The overall instructions with subsequent promises to the churches of Asia (minor) Rev.3 10 says, "Because you individual 'you' have kept the word of my patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial which is coming on the whole earth to try all those who dwell upon the earth." This promise is to all the churches from the first century until now. Chap 7 v 13, He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. That's churches plural. This admonition is repeated at the close of the addresses to all the churches. The Church is not appointed unto wrath.
