RC that is the best explanation I have ever heard of repentance.
well done. Mark 1:15 - .... Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,......And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Mark 6:12 - And they 12 apostles went out, and preached that men should repent.
Jesus speaking in Luke 13:3 - I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

PRESUMPTIOUS SIN:you gotta go Google that one. One word, a whole lot of info
Here's some examples: presume the mercy of God; sin against hope; carelessness with God and His Word; willful sin; deliberate sin; carelessness leads to callousness. And much more!! That's a SELAH: pause and think on these things

Nimrod had all the people who spoke one language, build the Tower of Babel, do Nimrod could shoot arrows at God. Then the Godhead (Father, Son, Holy Ghost) said, LET US confound their Language that they may not understand one another's language. Eventually people migrated to other places so they had people speaking the same language. Genesis 11:1-9
People meant it for evil, but God modified it for good. One planet with countries of the language God gave them. Cultures, food, dress, religions; everything we have today, except for one change. This age has people urged to be bi or multi-lingual in schools. We have internet to learn other cultures and go there.
    Teach Jesus to your kids.

Remarkable that like the church today, Christ entering Jerusalem, with all the multitudes finds the temple empty. So our Lord created his own temple , a temple made without hands, in the heavens, found in you and me. This new temple is the everlasting kingdom of god! Hosanna in the highest. The gospel of Christ, that we through faith can receive the forgiveness of sin. That Jesus will find fruit in those who trust Him , who believe in God! His kingdom shall have no end., as he says I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end.We enter freely into His temple not paying for the privilege, Freely He gives, Freely we receive! Only one mediator between God and man! The man Christ Jesus.

Reading various commentaries on this chapter, most seem to run into a problem in interpreting the prophet described in this chapter. There are some aspects that point to this being a false prophet and others that seem to make reference to Christ. In my opinion, from v2 to the end to the end of v4 the bible is describing a false prophet. Then there is a transition in beginning of v5 following the word "But,,," where the bible is comparing and contrasting the false prophet to another, who is not a prophet, but actually Christ.
    - He is not a prophet, but the Good Shepherd.
    - The wounds in his hand are from the cross.
    - The sword was from God, who used the Roman soldier.

    Any thoughts?

Hi! i think a presumptuous sin is when one sins willfully, and knowing better. Its not a sin committed out of ignorance.

Greetings to you, I just want to let you know that I went from 13 pills to zero pills only because of the grace of God and his deliverance for me trusting in him and his powerful word that carry me through. Depression is a powerful word and deep experience with being always SAD, we all are blessed with the Bible, Basic Instruction... and that said there is a whole lot of positives in this world. So my advice to you seek your mind into the word and surround yourself with positive people and separate self from your idol mind and negative people. If God can be for you who can be against you. READ Romans Chapter 8. I was abuse by parent and family and through marriage, I'm now Free Indeed!

My friend, in a sense you are right. But here it is talking about salvation, not just the presence of God, as sin can separate us from God, but never completely take him out of the picture.
  • RC on Genesis 6:6 - 6 years ago
There is no discrepancy in God's Word. In regard to God's repenting because He created man in earth was not because of God sinning as man does. God cannot sin. Repentance is being sorrowful in your heart for human sin (disobeying God). God was sorrowful for His creation, not GOD sinning. Thank God, Jesus paid the price for OUR sin...He was without sin....God loved us (creation) enough to make way to be with Him through the Cross and Blood of His pure Son. Today repent for your sin, ask Jesus to save you, believe in your heart He died and rose again and confess Him as your Lord and Savior. Saved by grace..a gift from God...God with us..Thank You Lord Jesus!!!

I've had this question as well. I found the same in Corinthians 14:34-35 and no scripture contrary to this. If someone can give scripture that states otherwise, I would like to follow-up. Thank you and May God continue to bless and keep all my sisters and brothers.
  • Suresh on Proverbs 18:21 - 6 years ago
i truly believe this proverb a mouth speaks what the heart is full of . If a person has good tongue he will be having good relations with others in his life, but other side it can destroy the healthy person health by poor mouth. so speak good and be a good fruit of life .. amen
  • Timothy Wayne George on Matthew 21:5 - 6 years ago
The King James uses language that is different from the nomanclature of today. Ass is a donkey and Jesus fulfilled Zechariah 9:9 when he rode the colt of a donkey. This was the meek and just Savior having salvation who came to save us from our sins. So thank God that the Highest became the lowest that he could die on the Cross and redeem mankind from his sins. Accept this truth and you will be saved, your name will be written in the Lamb's book of life.

God rested on the 7th day Genesis 2:3
Jesus ministered and healed people on Sabbath and had Pharisees on his back for it. There is no set law for what day to attend church. Just don't forsake (stop) gathering together which could mean church or small home groups; some elderly watch church on tv faithfully. Read first 2 chapter of Acts which shows the first meetings of Jesus's believers. It's cool.
  • Mick - In Reply on Matthew 15 - 6 years ago
The Godhead is 3 distinct persons: Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Two times they said, "Let us". One was at creation, the other was at the Tower of Babel. The Father gave us to Jesus. He is the Word of God. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Jesus.
We pray to the Father in Jesus name. We ask the Holy Spirit to baptize us. He is our boots on the ground: He teaches us about Jesus, comforts us, He opens up the Bible so you can understand. You have to desire increasing closeness with Him. You will be smitten with a love you cannot describe. They deserve our worship :)

Every time I ever judged anyone; said it, thought it, sneered, smirked, mumbled, the Holy Spirit reeled me in. I finally got cured. He even made me watch The Shack movie 28 times! I got blissfully delivered.
There is too much judging going on in here. We could be learning the FRUITS of the Holy Spirit. Believe me that unrighteous judgment grieves Him. If you don't feel that, then your conscience may be seared like a strip steak.
These 5 scriptures say don't Judge. Repent. Write them down. Matthew 7:1, Luke 6;37, John 7:24, I Corinthians 4: 3-5. BE MERCIFUL
Now check this one out: Ezekiel 2:21

God is going to personally deal with Israel. Pray. Stop accusing. WWJD God bless you.

I will pray for you, I don't know what scripture you're reading but if you will look up scripture on depression and anxiety and read and read and read and pray and keep praying he WILL help you. What I just suggested to you is exactly what I did. We were in the midst of a trial and I am on medication but it wasn't helping, I was a hot mess. God Almighty delivered me from my depression and anxiety. I mean I'm still on my meds so I don't want to mislead you. But even though I was on my meds I still needed him and he is helping me so much! I keep your eyes and mind on Christ and I promise he will help you, but it takes hard work on your part too. You have to keep at it, don't give up God bless

Revelation 11:19 Say the Temple of God was opened in heaven, ad there were lightnings, and voices, and thundering, and an earthquake, and great hail, is this what John saw, and this will be fulfilled after Christ return to earth? Some people believe that Revelation has already happen, but I do not believe that. I believe this part of the Bible will be fulfilled after Christ return and receive his believers into the kingdom. Can someone give me some insight on this matter? Thank you and God bless you.
