And now JESUS WILL RETURN AGAIN HERE IN THE SAME PLACE from where He ascended to the third heavenly environment and a cloud RECEIVED Him ( Acts 1:11) , yes, He will again return now to the same place from where He ascended, and He will reign and lead us in new celestial environment ( Ephesians 1:3) by His power, for a period of 1.000 years(the cloud also will appear again, understand?) , as it is revealed in Philippians 3:20-21: -->20 For our conversation is in heaven (heaven? Ephesians 1:3. Take a look.)-; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto himself. By the way, He made it very clear when He said: All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth- Matthew 28:18.

So, if my understanding is correct, Gad and Reuben were not asking to inhabit land outside of what was promised to Abraham. If I am wrong in my understanding and the great river is the Jordan, then these tribes did not want to possess the land promised, but found the land adjacent to Canaan favorable for cattle. If this is the case, then it may seem like they made a decision similar to Lot, who chose land east of the Jordan river also which eventually brought much vexation to him due to the sinfulness of the inhabitants who worshipped idols and were sexually immoral. Will Gad and Reuben run into a similar vexation as Lot?

And it doesn't say when the half-tribe of Manasseh joined up with Gad and Reuben, but perhaps this was a given if all three were cattle ranchers.

I, for one, do not want to settle for less than what God has promised to those who of us who live by faith like Abraham. I don't want to stop short of receiving the fullness of deliverance and redemption from the kingdom of evil, the forgiveness of ALL my sins, and salvation from the wrath of God for my sin. I want to receive the "place" Jesus promised He was going to the Father to prepare us who follow Him. I want to receive the full inheritance as an adopted child of God. Therefore, I do not want to fall short in any way.

We shall see if these tribes actually made a decision that was based on the lead of God or by their own wisdom. Perhaps God intended this to be so that the eastern flank adjacent to Canaan was protected as a buffer from the strong nations in this eastern section or even farther eastward beyond the Euphrates. Maybe these tribes that raised cattle did need this expanse of land to have enough grazing land that was naturally replenished with forage for their cattle. Perhaps cattle need far more range for grazing than sheep or goats. Cattle on the west side of the Jordan would leave too little land for the remaining tribes to raise their crops and herds.

In this chapter we find that the tribes of Reuben and Gad saw that land around where the Israelites were camped east of the Jordan River was excellent for raising cattle. They approached Moses to ask if it was possible for them to take possession of this newly conquered land as their inheritance. Moses was concerned about the effect of this decision on the whole of Israel as it seems that Gad and Reuben were willing to settle for less than the land in Canaan. Moses referred back to the time of the spies sent to assess the land of Canaan and how this bad report affected the faith of the people, causing them to disbelieve that the land promised would be best for them. This disbelief led to the nation wandering in the wilderness for forty years instead of entering the land at the time of the spying. The generation who came out of Egypt died in the wilderness being disinherited by God for their disbelief. The next generation is now on the brink of entering the promised land once again. Moses is concerned that the actions of Gad and Reuben will discourage the other tribes from entering and conquering the peoples in order to possess the land promised to Abraham.

Moses also is concerned that the members of the tribes of Gad and Reuben will not accompany the other tribes into Canaan and participate in warring against the inhabitants of Canaan to take the land for their brethren. The tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh promise to go into the land with the other tribes as warriors, but their wives, children and cattle will be secured in the land east of the Jordan in fenced cities that will keep their families safe. Moses agreed to this plan but warned these tribes how breaking their promise to fight with their brethren would be sinful and would bring judgment from God upon them.

I'm not sure, but I remember that Abraham was promised the land he saw in all directions including east to the great river, which was the Euphrates. I may be wrong on this.

In studying this particular psalm, it seems that (perhaps) there may be a difference between "thy rod and thy staff," in that they represent two things. "Thy rod," may mean God's discipline, while "thy staff," may mean as Our Shepherd, eg. how and where he leads us when we follow his Divine Will.

I think you've come to a good place to get some advice regarding your issue at hand. FrankieJ touched on some for you, and there are a lot of folks here that are very loving/caring and have great Biblical insight in regards to the subject of marriage and adultery.

If I'm understanding, you stated that you feel uncomfortable living in sin and would like to address it in some manner. You also stated that Jesus didn't mention anything to the Samaritan woman. John 4:18 He may have, and it wasn't noted/recorded, it could have been just between the two of them. Also, after her encounter with Jesus she may have had a spiritual life changing moment that would be the motivation for her to make the necessary changes in her life too extricate herself from the sinful situation she was living in. We just don't know all those details.

Here's my thoughts on your situation. You have some options:

1- Get married if you want to live together and remain in a sexual relationship.

2- Live together as friends that love and care for each other without sex of any kind in the picture. Without sex there is no adultery, so no sin. This relationship would be like 2 siblings living together, a son and his Mother, I could go on, or any number of people living together loving and caring for each other and sharing their resources without any sex in the relationship.

3-Get out of the relationship and remove the sin from your life.

This life we have on this earth is very short, our next life is for eternity, I can understand your need to get it right with God on this issue. God can and will forgive you of all your prior sins, and each new day is a fresh start, so I applaud you for listening to that small still voice inside you urging you to stop sinning.

Pray to God for His help on this, His Holy Spirit is urging you to change, call on His strength, and His guidance to steer you free from not only this sin, but all sin.

In my view,the preaching of the Gospel of GOD's Kingdom was beginning to be announced by JESUS,followed by the Apostles and disciples of the Lord,not to judge,but so that those who believed would be saved by knowing the Way,the Truth,and the Life.

As for"Judge not lest ye be judged",Paul Apostle explains it better than I do: Romans 14:1-12

Here's the importance of those Perfect Tense verbs in the Greek text:



Jesus is not giving them and the church the authority to go around binding and loosing. We see this in Matthew Chapter 18, and Matthew tells us that it has do with sin.



In 1 John 3:8, the word "loosed" is used for how Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. It is the word loosed.



When a person gets saved, they are loosed from Satan. So the church has authority to either bind someone to their sins or loose them from their sins.



What gives us that authority? It's something that has already been established in heaven!



Thou shalt bind that which has been bound already in heaven. It is a condition. And thou shall loose on earth things that shall have been loosed in heaven already.



So the church is here to declare that which has already been determined in heaven. We are only proclaimers!



What right do I have to tell anybody that they need to receive Christ and His death for them on the cross to be saved?



We (you and I) have the authority to tell people that we've got the key. We have got the key that unlocks the door. His name is Jesus!



If you receive Him, I have the authority to tell you that you have been loosed from your sins. If you refuse Him, I have the authority to tell you that if you continue to reject Him throughout your whole life, you'll be bound to your sins and you will die in your sins.



That is pretty authoritative! But I didn't make that up. That is the authority God has given to the church, you and I.

Never feel hypocritical for telling someone what has already been established in heaven and for something God has given you the authority to say!

I find that getting into arguments with those who don't want to listen is a waste of time. Yes, we should share the gospel message of salvation as the Lord leads, but what we have (Christ) is precious, and if someone refuses to listen, we simply walk away and not cast our pearls before the swine.

Now, is it wrong for us to "tell them that unrepentant sinners will go to hell?" No!

You say that you also feel somewhat hypocritical because it's not up to you to decide who goes to hell and who doesn't.

That is true. It is not up to us to decide. But, you should not feel hypocritical for telling someone that.

Please allow me to share this with you:

In Matthew 16:19, it says, "and I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven:" Here it is singular. But in Chapter 18 it is plural. So it is not just Peter, it is all of them!



Now, "keys" is a Hebrew symbol of authority. A person that had the keys was in charge. You can go back to some of the earlier documents in the Old Testament and see that the person that had the keys was in charge.



And some of the kings would get a little frustrated because whoever had the keys was in charge, and if you can't find him, of course you make the king mad, and they would have a new key bearer pretty soon!



He says I'll give you the keys. I'll give you the authority. We know that keys unlock things for entrance.



It says, and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.



Let me share with you what it is literally saying from the Greek:

Whatsoever thou shall bind on earth, shall (have been) bound in heaven."



Please know that this is very important to understand, and I'll give it to you again. It reads "And whatsoever thou shall bind on earth shall (have been) bound in heaven, and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, shall (have been) loosed in heaven."

The very content of your statements, indicates that God has not withdrew His Spirit from you in seeking & saving that which is lost.

Why is it not recorded that Jesus did not tell the woman at the well, to go & sin no more, we know not, He spent 2 days with them at Samaria preaching the good new of the kingdom, & part of that news is John 8:34 "includes all sin whatsoever".

You have honestly acknowledge your continuing in sin, this is the His Holy Spirit dealing with you according to John 16:8 & Titus 2:11,12

When He convicts of sin, He also reveal righteousness , showing you what to do instead,

I ask you, has He not done this, could it be that your not wanting to hear what is being reveal to you?

That is such wonderful news. Praise the Lord for He is good! You have a very special witness to the greatness of God. Thank you for sharing.

My name is Andrew and I have two testimonies I would like to share: my first is a truly amazing blessing from the Lord, I have had diabetes for around 15 year's and of those 10 have been by injection's. I prayed to our Heavenly Father for His healing upon me so I wouldn't have to take shot's for my diabetes's. I figured I would still have to take the pill's but as long as I didn't have to take shot. Praise Our Heavenly Father,He not only stopped me from not having to take shot's anymore but according to my Doctor my current A1C of 5.3 classified me as non diabetic. My prior A1C was 5.7 and my prior A1C's have gone up to 9.0. I was taking 180 mg. daily in shot's down to where I am currently at of 20mg. once a day. My Diabetic Doctor want's me to take the Pen shot for 2 week's to check. I'm already sure because I know my prayer's have been answered, Praise Be to God the Father our Creator who love's us and to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

My number two miracle of healing is so very amazing. I've been on oxygen 24/7 since 2007 right after I retired from the USPS after 27 year's. I had to use a concentrator and a CPap then a Bi-Pap, I had to use 7 liter's of O2 at night and when awake usually 4 unless I was struggling with breathing. My lung's are operating at 51% rate which is a mystery to me never smoked was active, my last test showed that I shouldn't have to be on oxygen 24/7 only at night with the Bi-Pap and here's the Miracle Healing of the Lord I use 1 liter when I sleep and I will stop that after I see the Respiratory people to adjust the Bi-Pap and I don't have to use oxygen at all during the day just like regular everyday people. I Praise God for His answering of my prayer's and for His Miracle Healing's!!! Glory be to the Father and to the Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Blessed Holy Spirit now and forever more. Never ever stop believing in miracle's and most importantly in Prayer's and GOD'S Love. In Jesus name I pray, Amen .

to continue---Moabites were the occupants of this land and Midianites, being nomadic, traversed in this land for portions of the year. Just as the Edomites were a mix of Ishmaelites and Esauites, Moab and Midian must have been mixed together and/or mixed with Ishmaelites and/or Esauites, too. All of these peoples from Ishmael, Midian, Esau, and Moab were related to the Israelites. But yet, they did not follow after Abraham and Jacob concerning faith in YHWH.

AS a result of the victory of this war, Israel had plundered the dwellings of the Midianites and taken all of the valuable jewelry, gold objects, herds of livestock and other materials that would be valuable to them as they entered the land.

God required a portion of this plunder to be given as a tithe to the Levites and as a heave offering to the LORD (which was not burnt on the altar, but offered to Him and then possessed by the priests. Even a portion of the children were given as a tithe, perhaps to be servants of the Levites and priests. The remaining children (all female) were then absorbed into the life of the Israelites as servants, slaves, or "adopted" by a family as if a child from them.

The men who had gone to war and killed others were required to separate from the congregation for 7 days and go through ceremonial cleansing of their bodies, clothing, weapons, etc. All of the plunder was also to be cleansed first with fire, if the material could be refined by fire, and then by water, or only by water if fire would consume the item. All this was done according to the word of the LORD so that the people would be cleansed from the taking of life and damages of war. Even though God had sent them to war and it was not sinful for them to kill the Midianites, God most likely wanted the Israelites to understand that the shedding of blood and taking of life is a big deal. Perhaps God wanted to prevent them from developing a blood-thirsty attitude but to have an obedient and reverent one instead.

In this chapter, God tells Moses that he is to charge the Israelites to war against Midian for the sins that this people brought to the Israelites with Baal worship and sexual immorality. After this battle is won, Moses would die.

In this battle, 1,000 men from each tribe went to war. Phineas, son of Eliazer (the high priest) was to take the holy instruments to the battlefield along with trumpets.

I am wondering what these instruments were. Were they musical? Or were they worship implements?

So Israel went to war with Midian. They killed the 5 kings of Midian along with Balaam. They killed all the adult males, but they spared the women and children. God was not pleased with this since the women of Midian seduced the men of Israel to engage in the sin that brought a plague from God unto Israel for falling into sin with these women.

Perhaps the men of Israel felt merciful to these women, but God said to kill all of the women except those who were virgins (most likely young women under the age of puberty). They were also to kill all of the male children. In this way, Midian as a nation was wiped out. The young girls that remained were assimilated into Israeli culture and practice.

It is interesting to note that Moses' father in law, Jethro, was a Midianite along with his wife Zipporah. Perhaps they were a godly anomaly among the Midianites.

Balaam, who could not curse the Israelites because prevented him to do so supernaturally, but instead devised the plan to tempt Israelites into sin with the women of Moab/Midian, was slain in this war. God brought him to justice. Even though Balaam had spoken with God and had an angel intervene, he still was unrepentant and did not submit to the true God. He had a stubborn heart. It seems also that the Moabites and Midianites must have either intermarried or else formed an alliance prior to the arrival of the Israelites and were allies together in this land that they shared. ...cont.
