    Jema,

Those are some good and valid points. I was wondering the same thing and look forward to seeing the response.

Personally, the day that I can say that I am completely free from sin is the day that I can say I no longer need a Savior!

    Blessings to you!

    Hello Frankie,

I hear you, and thanks for continuing to share your testimony here with everyone.

There is nothing in this world, that can compare to being brought into submission in order to obey God and recieve His Love and His Holy Spirit! To fear God is to begin knowing Him, and when we really know Him it is a rude awaking.

We don't even begin this journey until we humble ourselves before Him and recieve His Holy Spirit. He spells this out to us throughout the scriptures. We recieve NOT until we believe, accept, and live our lives according to "all of the scripture".

Here is an example of how God tells us point blank - how we can recieve His Holy Spirit if we keep His Commandments:

    John 14:15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

    John 14:16

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;"

    John 14:17

"Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

We begin the long hard journey through this life by humbling ourselves before God, embracing God's Commandments, and listening to His holy Spirit guide us (the small still voice) even though we will have to suffer for Him.

The soul is found in the blood and the soul is that thing that maketh a man to say

I want I need I shall, things are things that one does for his own satisfaction, but GOD the HOLY SPIRIT He will point you back to the cross and the word of God and He will ask you this

What you're doing does it glorify the father?,

    Repent of your sins.

    acts 20;21

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

    Hi,

The blood of Jesus Christ the son of the living God gives life to a dead man and provides atonement for one sins

    As it is written

    ( Ephesians 1:7, ESV)

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

And it's by grace and faith alone that we are saved and none of of our works

    Amen

    Repent of your sins.

    acts 20;21

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Hi Bro Dan , so , can I please ask you a question ? You said : eventually overcoming sin and winning the ultimate prize , salvation . Based on this statement , are you saying that salvation is won by us ? by our efforts ? If the answer to that is yes , then where does Christ's sacrifice come in ? If we can attain salvation by our own efforts , what do we need Christ for ? Please don't be offended , this is a genuine question and I would appreciate your answer so I can understand what you are saying :) .

    Summary of 1 Corintians 14.

Paul suggests that we all have spiritual gifts and serve with them the congregation and God.

The best gift is prophesying. Prophesy is a direct message from God to the church for the "edification, and exhortation, and comfort" of the church. It can be also about future events that are of the interest of the believers as we see in Acts 21:10-11. Prophets can be either men or women as seen in Acts 21:8-9. But women can not be pastors as seen in 1 Cor 14:34-35.

Paul suggests that we all speak in unknown tongues (v5) but preferably prophesying. Because the gift of prophesying is above tongues. Tongues are useful to a believer for their own edification because when speaking in tongues they are filled with God's Spirit which produces His fruit in them. But the rest do not understand what is said, so there is no benefit for the congregation unless there is an interpreter.

Prophesy is for the edification of the whole congregation. So when the church is gathered together to pray to God, and believers are filled with God's Spirit and start speaking in tongues and there isn't an inetrpreter they should keep silent and pray with their spirit. Prophets may say what God puts in their mouth in a proper order, one after the other. Others must judge whether a prophesy is real or not. Everything in the church should serve for the edification of of tbe whole body.

    God Bless You All.

An interpretation of chapter, 1 Corinthians 14 (PT 5).

Verse 26-33. An introduction is needed here.

The ancient church service consisted of 2 parts. Part 1 was when believers were kneeling down praying and singing to and praising God altogether. Part 2 was when they sat on their seats and were hearing the pastor preaching from the Scriptures.

Paul advices christians in Corinth to function their congregation in order. The most important thing is everything in the function of the church should be done for the edification of the congregation. When believers speak in tongues they should do it one after the other. But if there isn't no interpretation then they should keep silent and talk silently in tongues to them and God.

Prophets similarly should prophesy one after the other. It is possible that two of them could have a message from God at the same time. But they should not speak simoultaneously but only after the previous prophet stopped prophesying.

Verse 29, "Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge." Judge what? Judge whether the prophesy is true or not. How is that done? Mainly if the prophesy agrees with the written Word of God. Also other prophets who have the experience of prophesying, they usually can undersand if a prophesy is a real one or not.

Verse 32, "And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.".The Spirit of God doesn't force prophets to speak, they can allow or not allow their mouth to say what God puts in their mouth.

All the above take place in the first part of the church service, during the time of praying. Once the pastor is preaching, only him should talk from thereon.

Verse 33, "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.". Very clear meaning.

Verses 34-40. Women can not be pastors but can serve the congregation as prophets (see Acts 21:8-9)

An interpretation of chapter, 1 Corinthians 14 (PT 4).

    Verses 21-22.

Paul says that unknown tongues are a sign for non believers. How is that? The same way tongues were a sign that God is with apostles when on Pentecost the Jews from al over the world were hearing the apostles talking in their own languages. It served as a supernatural sign. Tongues are not a sign for believers, they are accustomed to it, there is no need to be proved to them that God is with them. But on the other hand prophesy serves as an important function in the church service.

    Verse 23.

Let us all imagine that some people enter a congregation where every single one of them speaks in an unknown tongue. Wouldn't they think that this place is full of weird people, maniacs? So tongues are not to be excercised in the function of the congregation when gathered together. At least not loudly (we will see that later on).

But if a non believer enters a congregation where everybody prophesies then they will hear the heart knowing God, through the prophets, manifesting their secrets, their heart, and so they will kneel down accepting that God is between them.

A brother of mine, gone to the Lord now, a very active member of the Greek Orthodox church, a member of the antiheretical committe, once heard that there is a church in Athens where God speaks with prophets. So just out of curiosity he decided to visit those heretics, as he thought of them. When he entered the congregation people were down on their kneels praying. And suddenly he heard a voice, a prophet, "I called you from Thessalonike to show you my church" as well as many private things. From that time how could he ever disbelief that God was among them? And that was just the begining. After sometime he abandoned the Orthodox church and joined a small team of regenerated christians in his city That small congregation expanded to a big church. He eventually became the pastor of that church in his city.

There is a great Divide in the Christian world today!

The Many. There are those Christians who believe they can never stop sinning, and even so, believe they will attain salvation/heaven. They reinforce this sin message between themselves, all the while continuing to live worldly lives, and assuring themselves that sin will be all around them engulfing them for the rest of their lives.

1 John 1:6 "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:"

1 John 2:15 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

James 4:8 "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."

The Few. Then there are VERY FEW Christians who believe they can actually stop sinning with the help of God's Holy Spirit, and they strive to do so everyday, as the scriptures command, eventually overcoming sin, and winning the ultimate prize Salvation!

1 John 3:6 "Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him."

1 John 3:9 "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

Now when we compare the above (2) Christain mindsets - we can now put this verse below into the proper perspective:

Matthew 7:14 "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

A good question to ask ourselves EVERYDAY - Do we want to be counted in the Many, or the Few?

Hello. A Catholic priest cannot forgive you or anyone else's sins unless the sin was against him personally. But The Lord Jesus Christ can, so go to Him only. Then you will not have those problems of not being accepted. The Lord Jesus will direct your paths.

    hello Dan

I pray people would truly weigh in on what is reveal by Holy Spirit in this article. It's so plainly written in Scriptural language, with sound reasoning, & the Witness bearing witness inside our hearts to the truth of this matter.

I believe they're many on this site that are sincere & truthful in their endeavors to know, love & serve the Lord in Spirit & in Truth. Yet are deceived by this false gospel being preached in so call Christianity today, as I myself once was for 27 years, in which I have serve in every position in the church from a maintenance man to a deacon. Searching, fasting & studying the Scriptures as I see many doing on this site, meaning through the art of natural science, book knowledge. A veil always stood between me & my Beloved, the intimacy & oneness that the Scriptures plainly state we can have with Him.

The knowledge I acquired could never set me free from my sins & I couldn't understand why? I felt that I was the most miserable sinner there was. Still I press on, not knowing there was something better, sure & solid.

Until God in His sovereign mercy in Jan 2020 while attending Ministry School, led me to quit the school & set my heart to seeking Him, leading me to the teaching of these Quakers of the 17th Century, in which I never read or heard the likes of before, that we can be actually set free from all sin, in reality & be conformed into the image of His Son in Spirit & in Truth.

In truth, it not me off my feet, turn my world upside down, yet God held me & did not forsake me Isa 42:16 for I then found out by experience how so rebellious in nature it was, it truly as it has be said, "I who was once His enemy in His own house, He was well able to changed & make me His friend.

Friends, this is Truth, & He did it all by His Spirit shining in the inward parts, making me to Know His Wisdom

    Job 28:28 Titus 2:11

    So Chris, (part 2)

I think you have understood my statement that you quote correctly.

Every OT believer that God saved became "Born Again", just like every NT believer. There is no difference.

But certainly not everyone of OT Israel that observed the Ceremonial Laws was save. In fact, we know from the Bible that only a tiny remnant out of all the 12 (or 13) tribes became saved. The Pharisees were fanatical about keeping the Ceremonial Law. Did that forgive their sins.certainly not.
  • David0921 - In Reply - 1 year ago
    Chris,

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of THE LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

Mark 4:33,34 And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it. But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

Psalms 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

    Chris,

The efficacy of Christ's payment for the sins of ALL whom He has saved or ever will save extends throughout the history of the world beginning from creation.

The Ceremonial Laws which Old Testament Israel were commanded to observe were "historical parables" designed to teach them, and us, about the nature of Salvation, the forgiveness of sins. Observance of these Ceremonial Laws did not save anyone. And apart from Salvation, there is no forgiveness of sins.

Old Testament Israel did not have the whole Bible as we do today; so there understanding of the Nature of Salvation would not have been nearly as complete as ours should be today. Although Jesus was critical of Nicodemus for not understanding that we must be "Born Again".

But God does not require an extensive knowledge of the Word of God to save because Salvation is 100% the Work of God Alone, i.e. Grace Alone. The Salvation of the 120,000 Ninevites who humbled themselves and repented of their wickedness at the preaching of Jonah is a beautiful example.

So once again, there is ONE AND ONLY ONE Salvation for anyone whom God saves throughout the history of the world. And that Salvation is by God's Grace Alone, apart from any obedience to the Law of God.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Thank you for sharing this information RLW , I was aware of it but was nervous about putting it out there . There are one or two other anomalies that I'm nervous about sharing also :) . Sometimes it takes great courage to share things that we know are very serious and important and that might literally alter the way people think and what they believe , messengers are not always appreciated :) . Then of course the messenger can be accused of bringing the Bible into disrepute when of course it is those in charge of the translating and publishing that will be held accountable . I had Bibles many years ago KJV's , that said things in the margins like ' not original' , wish I had kept them ! Some I'm sure , will choose to ignore your info but as I said , I'm sure the translaters and publishers will bear the deserved punishment . May God bless you and keep you with us .
  • Chris - In Reply - 1 year ago
Thanks David0921. I've written to Giannis - if I could refer you to that to save repetition.

But to yours, I'll refer: "Forgiveness of sin has everything to do with Salvation itself. Any Old Testament Believer was "saved" just like any New Testament Believer. That is, Christ must have "paid for their sins" and that Salvation must have been applied to them by making them Born Again. And that is ALL the work of God Alone, Grace Alone." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand your statement as, 'the OT believers (within the OT framework) were still saved people, since Christ's Sacrifice, not having occurred yet, still cleansed them as well. That even within the OT economy, just as Nicodemus was, they too could still receive Christ's salvation & experience re-birth'.

If I've understood this correctly, & hoping that I haven't, then I would refute it. I believe that the old sacrificial system looked forward to the day of that Perfect Sacrifice, but the application of Jesus' Blood was only accomplished at His Death & Resurrection and by the Power of the given Holy Spirit. The OT believers knew nothing of such cleansing, re-birth, or deliverance until the Work of the Cross was accomplished - they remained in their sins, saved only by God's special Providence upon them alone giving them hope ( Psalm 130). Those, like Nicodemus, who were alive in Jesus' day, received the Word concerning re-birth. But like all those before him, Nicodemus (had he turned to Jesus then) would still only experience Christ's Salvation after the Work was finished & the Holy Spirit given. I understand that the shed Blood of Jesus applied only to those who came under it; and of the deceased OT believers in God, Christ's Blood availed, "by (the) one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified": all who have been set apart by God, whether alive then or now, or even deceased before Christ, have their redemption made complete in His Blood.
  • Chris - In Reply - 1 year ago
    Page 2.

Therefore I submit, that those who did abide by God's Instructions pertaining to the sacrifices, were forgiven & accepted by Him, being held in Hades upon their death, but awaited the awakening to eternal life, even as Jesus made those sacrifices complete for them through His Own Sacrifice. For if they weren't forgiven at the first (i.e. their sins were covered before God, for He cannot overlook sin), then their second part would be alongside the rich man in torment who received no forgiveness. If their sins were not covered (i.e. they remained unforgiven), then they would stand condemned, die in their sins, and Jesus' Sacrifice could never apply to them. But Jesus' Death did apply because it looked back to the sacrifices that spake of Him & pointed to Him alone.

Therefore, even if Jesus' Coming would not be till many centuries/decades later for them, those of obedient Israel could still stand confident before the LORD, that their performance of the sacrifices that pleased Him, their righteous standing before God & full salvation later, was certain. Yet, as we know, most of them were unfaithful in spite of God receiving & blessing them, so suffering & captivity were their lot - even what they had before God, they lost - but those truly IN Christ Jesus now can never be lost: Hebrews 10:12,14,17, "after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of GodFor by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctifiedAnd their sins and iniquities will I remember no more".

    Page 1.

Hi brother Giannis & thank you for your comment. What you have written is correct, as far as 'sacrifices of animals could not remove sins', & of course, the coming Perfect Sacrifice in Jesus was the fulfilment of what those old sacrifices pointed to. We can't ever deny that.

But the problem we have here is: we know it was the LORD's design for a sacrificial system which ultimately pointed to Jesus' Sacrifice, but what good or benefit did those sacrifices have for the OT priests & the people? Why did God require meticulous observance of every facet of those ordained sacrifices, if the people yet remained in their sins, unforgiven & likely for many of the disobedient ones, destined for hell? And then as you stated, the righteous at that time went to Abraham's side, & we could also include those such as Moses, David, & others; these also had to abide by those rules - if they refused to abide, counting the sacrifices of little importance, would their righteous living & walk with the LORD be sufficient to save them?

What I'm considering here is: since all people can only be saved through Jesus Christ's Death, then there must be more to those OT sacrifices that were specifically instituted than just a pointing to the Perfect One. True, people had to know about their sin, the need for punishment for any disobedience, repentance, the provision of a substitute for them (the sacrificial animal), but also God's acceptance & forgiveness. They could know all of these, yet if God still refused them & only forgave them in Hades, post Jesus' Death, then it stands that they would remain condemned on Earth no matter how many sacrifices they performed - all their obedience, all the priests work in applying the blood to the horns of the altar, all the sacrifice aroma ascending up to God which pleased Him, would count for nothing except as religious acts that served the sinner no purpose - only to God alone.

    Hi John ray

    Greetings in Christ JESUS

In fact it is very sad, and it is happening in whole world, and the worst it to still come for all nations. Read what JESUS said and warning the whole world by His word: Luke 21:22-36. Take a look.

By the way, there is no effect without cause. See this one example below, among many other since ancient time:

    2 Chronicles 36:14-16

14 Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the Lord which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

15 And the Lord GOD of their fathers sent to them by His messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because He had compassion on His people, and on his dwelling place:

16 But they mocked the messengers of GOD, and despised His words, and misused His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till THERE WAS NO REMEDY. (Now it is not and will not be different, THERE IS NO REMEDY, unfortunately.)

    Romans 2:5-11

    5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous Judgment of GOD;

6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, ETERNAL life:

8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, INDIGNATION and wrath,

    9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

11 For there is no respect of persons with GOD.

    2Peter 4:17-18

17 The time is come that Judgment must begin at the house of GOD: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of GOD?

18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

    Hi GiGi,

Always nice to hear from you. You state "Our obedience does not "save us"..

But I will say: Our obedience assures us that we are really saved.

It is through obedience, that we demonstrate our faith in Jesus, so we need to "overcome the world" and accomplish God's purpose.

What is the world? Secularism: As a philosophy, secularism seeks to interpret life based on principles derived solely from the material world, without recourse to religion. It shifts the focus from religion towards "temporal" and material concerns.

As we grow closer to God, we need to have a change of heart, and turn our backs on this world, which would mean releasing our attachment to the material world.

We have to bedoersand not hearers only

    James 1:22

"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."

What does the Word of GOD say? The Word is GOD, self-executable. By the way, GOD calleth those things which be not as though they were-understand? Romans 4:17 and Hebrews 4:3. Take a look.

In my vision, and I'm sure of this, the day of Christ's return is the day 1.335 - Daniel 12:12. GOD said: 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. Why GOD said that? Exactly 75 days after the END of the last week, week 70th Daniel 9:27, and 45 days after the END of the Abomination of Desolation.

The question is: How to know by the calendar what day the day 1335 will fall on? Impossible, for now. Anyway, get ready, because it's very close.

    GOD BLESS YOU, AND ALL
