We become 2 Timothy 3:17
(but free from hateful competition of course)
Psalm 83:18 is a strong conviction for me.
sometimes people may go for
years saying someone name not quite exactly. however, the person gets the point
because they may be close enough. but when you really know the person personally,
knows his likes and dislikes. and you have a close bond with that person. then
the name and how it's pronounced by a loved one may not be such a big deal.
James 4:8. The truth of a name is always soon corrected and the person may later
get the point.
KJB ( Rev. 22:16) This verse tells us "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star". (Jesus speaking said ((I am the bright and morning star))
Niv ( Rev. 22:16) "I Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright morning star" (The Niv even says Jesus is the bright morning star)
Now we look at ( Isaiah. 14:12) 1st the KJB "How art thou fallen from heaven, O LUCIFER, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"
The Niv says "How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
The first thing to notice in this verse is that they removed the word, or the name Lucifer, which is the only place its written in the Bible. Why would they do that? They change it to ((O morning star)) Remember who ( Rev. 22:16) said the morning star is? Even in their own version the morning star Is Jesus.
The Niv takes away the name Lucifer and makes this verse sound like the (morning star, Jesus Christ) was the one who had fallen from heaven and weakened the nations.
Do you see that? The Niv is full of deception!
How could this not have evil intent behind it?
( 1 Tim. 4:1) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. The word (doctrines) is #1319; it means instruction (the function or the information) learning, teaching. (Our doctrine is whatever Bible we get our instruction from, learning from, or are teaching from).
Where are these (doctrines) of devils today? It surely looks like the Niv is one of them!!
The KJB is the True Inspired Word of God!
The Truth matters!
Therefore Job is called righteous because God had saved him.
The Bible IS THE WORD OF GOD. There are no contradictions nor "lies" in the Bible because God is the author of the Bible.
Your question is a good one and really boils down to what is the Bible and how are we to approach the Bible?
The Bible is the Word of God. It is not in the first instance the word of Paul or Luke or Isaiah or Jeremiah. God is the AUTHOR of the Bible. Every word in the original Hebrew and Greek is from the mouth of God Himself.
Furthermore the Bible is the COMPLETE Word of God. There are no lost books or any additional revelations from God.
Also every part of the Bible is for us today. There are those that would say that, for example, the Old Testament is only for the Jews. Or Paul's letters are primarily for the churches. Not so!
THE BIBLE ALONE AND IN ITS ENTIRETY IS THE ONLY WORD OF GOD. And every part of the Bible is equally important for us today.
So when we approach the Bible to understand truth we MUST compare scripture with scripture. And we MUST harmonize any conclusion we reach about what a verse is teaching with everything else the Bible declares. We MUST NEVER isolate any part of the Bible from the rest of the Bible in order to come to an understanding. The BIBLE IS ITS OWN INTERPRETER. We can and must, for example, compare the letter to the Romans with Isaiah and every other part of the Bible to come to truth.
May God bless as you search the scriptures.
We therefore must go forward and plant the seed and praise the LORD JESUS CHRIST for the harvest.
GOD to shine HIS face on all who worships the LORD in truth and in spirit. The LORD to bless us all gloriously.
Father, bless our leadership with Godly wisdom and the desire to praise YOU.

Thinking about you and wondering how things are going in your life.
We haven't heard from you lately. You must be very busy.
I look forward to hearing from you again.
I am wondering how you get to older postings on this site.
Can you tell me the steps you take?
Thank you
Revelation 3 chapter.
We must never tire of and correct, encourage, and emphasize the truth.
Keep going, never get tired and bored. But continue in God's Spirit and Truth. Love u in Christ.
I have been thinking of you lately. How are you doing in life?
b. It is true, Christians today might be taught that they have the Spirit indwelling them & they willingly accept it, but that's only theoretical belief. A true believer cannot live his new life in Christ based only on a teaching given by someone - there must be a manifestation inwardly (a change) & outwardly (a new life revealed); because the Holy Spirit is never idle - He will point to Jesus & grow the Life of Christ in the believer. I can't see how this special mysterious work can be done outside of a person - it must be from the inside. Hence, my belief that those who have the indwelling Spirit, been sealed & secured by Him, can never depart from the faith - they will never desire it nor be persuaded by any other, even under persecution, to leave Christ - the Spirit won't allow it because the new birth is just that: a new life formed in you which can't be denied nor extinguished. Yes, he might slip up along the journey, but the Spirit will always bring him back in brokenness & repentance; the erring believer will be uncomfortable with sin & increasingly so, so that there remains no other avenue but to repent & seek forgiveness.
And that is how we must all learn about obedience, godliness, & walking in step with the Spirit. Is this too narrow a view? I don't believe that the Spirit of God works in any other way in His Church, His people. Under the OT economy (pre-crucifixion), the Spirit's Work was different & applicable to the need, whether through prophets, kings, laymen, even gentile monarchs, but to indwell a person to inwardly change the life, mind & heart, is reserved only for those who are truly in Christ.
But I can see that those under the Spirit's outside influence, whether to bring to repentance, to join with other believers, even to manifest some apparent godly traits, can be deceiving to others - but God makes no mistakes about those who have been given His Spirit. Blessings.
Thank you bro Giannis for your lengthy response. If I might address some of your points.
a. John 3:3-6. "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God". If my Gk Lexicon is correct, the rendering is that 'a man is born out of/out from water and out of/out from the Spirit' ('ek'). In both references to the water & the Spirit, we see that one has to make a new appearance: the first which represents the physical birth (since this whole discussion with Nicodemus is about these two births), & the second, the spiritual birth. In neither of these births, the babe has any control or power. In the physical, the natural laws of human birth must take place, as also in the spiritual, the natural working of the Holy Spirit must take place to produce a new child/creation.
And there must be evidence of that work; Nicodemus could only understand it in the natural sphere, but in the spiritual sphere, the Spirit's Presence & Working must be seen, or else it is false. Therefore, I can understand the Spirit working through the Gospel preached by man & by the Word that is read, to minister to an unbeliever, but when a person turns to Christ & is born again, the Holy Spirit must indwell him & reside permanently ("Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his", Romans 8:9) - a very telling verse, leaving no room for misunderstanding. I could never perceive that the one who is in Christ can ever be one without the Holy Spirit residing within - it simply goes against the reason & working of the Spirit. So when you write, "So the Spirit works in the heart of a born again person, although He may not dwell in them", this is something that I simply cannot understand in light of the Scriptures, because re-birth is always from an inward dwelling, not an outward influence. See Page 2.
The KJB ( Col. 1:14) In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
(The KJB says we have redemption ((THROUGH HIS BLOOD))
The Niv (Col, 1:14) Says "In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins".
(The Niv leaves out the words "through his blood".)
That should be a really big deal to all Christians who are seeking the True Word of God. Do you honestly think this version could be the Inspired Word of God?
The KJB ( 1 Tim. 3:16) This verse tells us "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh"
(The KJB says ((God was manifest in the flesh))
The Niv (1 Tim, 3:16) Says "Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body"
The Niv says "He appeared in a body"
(The Niv completely takes away the words "God was manifest in the flesh" and says "He appeared in a body")
The KJB (Lu. 2:33) "And Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were spoken of him" (This verse is speaking of Jesus, so the KJB the True Word of God says ((Joseph)) and his mother.
The Niv (Lu, 2:33) Says "The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him" The Niv is saying Joseph was the father of Jesus Christ. Is it not? Do you trust this Niv book? I don't even want to call it a Bible!
The KJB has the word (hell) in it 54 times.
The Niv has the word (hell) in it 15 times.
The KJB has the word (devil) in it 106 times.
The Niv has the word (devil) in it 33 times..
So the Niv removes the word hell 39 times.
And the Niv removes the word devil 73 times.
Do you see the difference in the Truly Inspired Words of the LORD, and the words of men?
The Truth matters!
I didn't know Mishael was ill.
Sad to hear that.
Thank you.
God bless.
I believe I have read that archeology has only found proof of the written language of the Hebrew people as far back as 1000 BC. I have 'heard' by the voice of a man that there were no 'Vs' in the early 'block' Hebrew language. So I can assume that modern man has come up with 'Yahweh." When Moses received the Ten Commands, He said to God, 'what am going to say', when the people ask, 'who sent me'? God answered,
'I Am that I Am. The ditopology of I Am that I Am in the Hebrew is 'E H Y H' or the name spelled in English, J e H o Y a H.
There is not a 'J' in the Hebrew alphabet, so The Divine Name is spelled Y e H o Y a H.
According to E. W. Bullinger's, Companion Bible (KJV) God's Divine Name was hidden 'Five times' in the book of Esther. Two times forward, two times backward, and one time I Am that I Am. The reason it was hidden was to protect the bloodline of Christ. Each time it is hidden in the Acrostic, it should be in all capital letters, such as Esther 1:20, "ALL THE WIVES SHALL GIVE."
There is a lot to be understood here.
I remember Mishael saying he was ill in the weeks before he stopped posting. He was very committed to participating here and so I continue to pray for him.
We miss him and T. Levi's and Suze, and Bro Dan, and Dr. Lee, and many other we have not heard from on here for some time.
It is good to keep praying for them when they come to mind.
And thank you.
As for T Lewis and Mishael,
I believe T Lewis left the site and dropped in a little while ago if I'm not mistaken, but Mishael just stopped posting and responding all of a sudden and never returned.
That is shocking considering the commitment.
Blessings
Jesus by calling Peter a satan tried to show Peter what a serious fault it is for one to oppose God's work in humanity for salvation. Anybody who does that is a satan, figuratively. Because it is satan who tries to stop God's work on people. Salvation has nothing to do with feelings. Jesus doesn't place His feelings for Peter infront of mankind's salvation. At that time Peter was an obstacle on Jesus way to the cross. Often newly saved christians are opposed by their families to follow Jesus. But they have to follow Jesus and not their feelings for their family. Because if they follow their feelings they will loose what they have earned and they won't be able to lead their families to salvation either. GBU
