This chapter is a great example of how our gifting through the love of God should be to fellow Christians that there be no lack and that equality exist among all Christians. God help us!

Yes ! I have always believed that we ( humans ) are the anti-Christ , from the moment we disobeyed Him and bit into that apple we have been at variance to Him as we all are this day . What is the fruit of humanity ? What have we as a species done / created ? Technology that's what . We have not changed ourselves , we are no better than we ever been , treating each other so disgustingly bad ,however we have altered our , no God's ! planet , with our fruits . Science denies the existence of God as it seeks to glorify itself and it's proponents . The word science is mentioned twice I think in the New testament , and it's not a favourable judgement . Ask most commited atheists why they don't believe in a God and they will mutter something about evolution or scientific discoveries and explanations . The curtain will eventually be pulled aside and the wizard of Oz will be exposed , may Christ return ever so soon , when it is God's will .

God's peace everyone, you are precious and the Lord Jesus loves you, for He sent us the Holy Spirit. This is how we can always be with the Lord and carry the kingdom of God in us. Remember what you who do not understand. We walk with the Lord every day, some get milk and some get solid food. One day we will understand because today we will get piecemeal and shared. Because if we were to get all the knowledge in an instant, it would be too much for us. And we would have gotten lost in God's Word that is. We know that we have a soul a spirit and a body. This is a teaching in itself. And there's already in here on the web. Distinguish this we cannot do.

Just the day when we're going to die, Jesus said Luke 23:43 Then we let go of our body, then the spirit has no obstacle anymore. This is where we detach ourselves from the body. So in Paradise there are no bodies. As we live and have the body, we are also bound with it in soul and spirit.

Hope this can help someone. Know that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, with His consultation, have complete control over matters large and small. Pray for visdom and understanding.

Love u all in Christ. John 3 Chapter Stay strong in the word everyday.

Dear you "David Allen" know that I thank you to the Almighty for being in here on the web. This is how I remember to pray for yours. This is how I remember to pray for mine every day. No day without it.

We thank You Lord Jesus Christ for sending us the Holy Spirit, then it doesn't matter if we have distances all the way to the end of the earth! We praise Your Holy Name every day and give thanks for our lives. Thank You for all that we have received, Thank You for life and health. We will glorify Your Holy Name for eternity and we will always be close to You in thoughts, words and deeds. And You will never lose us out of Your hand. Let us always walk with You in our life, Amen. Hallelujah praised being our God who looks to all of us!

Dear Vanity, I am so sorry you are going through this. I can relate. I know what it's like to be bullied by a group of people. Try to ignore them, or call the police, and have a restraining order put on these women. Pray, draw closer and closer to the Lord.

Dear God the Father in Heaven You who have created Heaven and Earth. You who see everything and know about everything. Look to Ruben Lord Jesus You who is his lawyer. We pray that you give Ruben wisdom and understanding taught in Your word Lord. To strengthen him to spirit, soul, and body. That You show him the different spirits that he himself can drive away in Your Holy Name Jesus Christ. You Lord can do this so that Ruben can resist all attacks from the evil side. Stand firm in You Jesus and He will thank you sincerely with all His heart for helping Him. For the rest of His life, He will belong to Jesus Christ and His fellow combatants.

Dear God the Father in Heaven You who are the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. You who have created all things visible and invisible. We pray according to Your will in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen. Now we come before Your throne with humble thoughts and pray for strength, joy, power in Your name that "Vanity" now can walk in peace. Fill her with Your Word Lord so that these torments recede. Fill her with Your light Lord so that they no longer look to her edge. Put Your angels around her so that she can always feel secure and steady in Your will Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Counsel: Always be prepared and speak God's Word that you have read earlier in the day, these words that you read will be your lantern. Give the word away without evil thought or that you are going to gain anything from it. The word belongs to the Lord. And the great wonder of it is that people can begin and believe in Almighty Jesus Christ so that they turn from empty works to faith in the living Jesus Christ. Besides, they'll think you've become outland, and they'll lose their lust for and tease you when you give them God's Word back on their harassment. And be always glad no matter what. Think about Jesus Christ all the time and pray in your heart. Good luck, never lose hope and stay safe. Love u in Christ. John 3 chapter.

Thank you brother S. Spencer - I fully agree with your thoughts of the all encompassing Work of the Holy Spirit, not only in the believer, but also in His restraint of evil in the World, preventing its full manifestation. So we see His restraining Work, not only in the revelation of the anti-Christ, but for mankind, in the most part, to still hold onto proper behavior, mainly by the workings of his conscience & the laws set by governments. Once the Holy Spirit relinquishes His influence upon the World through His Presence in Christ's Church, evil would know no bounds, and consciences "seared with a hot iron" giving way to all manner of wickedness. And their chief architect, Satan himself in anti-Christ, will rightly receive the world's worship, for this is their god that draws their hearts, syncs with their evil consciences, & fulfils all their pleasure & lusts.

But how the Holy Spirit will still be in the world, with the absence of the Church, I'm unable to settle on & reconcile in my mind. I would have to leave that thought awaiting the Spirit's further help & direction. Will connect with you & others again after three weeks when I hope to return from vacation. Blessings.

    Adam:

The word says we were crucified with Christ and we were resurrected with Christ.

Yes, I believe I died on that cross 2000 years ago, before I was even born, I was raised a new creation 2000 years ago, that why works has nothing to do with salvation.

It's a GIFT, BY THE GRACE OF GOD.

    God Bless YOU!

Thank you dear brother Jesse. I fully concur with what you've shared here, on the use of the number 'seven'. As you wrote, it certainly declares a 'fullness or completeness/perfection', but I had not previously considered seriously the 'missing' "evening and the morning was the seventh day" phrase in the Bible.

I think you may have uncovered something precious here, which clearly supports the present sense that I have, that "the seventh day has never ended". We as believers do enjoy that ongoing Sabbath (spiritual) rest ( Hebrews 4:1-6), which was denied to Israel for their wilful state of unbelief & disobedience; & yet our struggles in this life can never find its end, with that complete & perfect rest promised, never coming into our possession while Satan remains loose. Only until the Prince of Peace comes again & the world renewed without any possibility of such a devastating occurrence as before, can all of creation bask in the Glory of God & in His Perfect Rest as He originally planned for us. We just have a taste of it now (the 'evening' of the seventh day), waiting for that promised fruit to come to full maturity (the 'morning'), completing that seventh day of true & complete rest. As you can see, you've expanded my meditations on this considerably, for which I'm very appreciative.

    Adam:

There is ONLY of God, and FATHER of all other gods, his children.

Is not Christ a SON, a child of God the father.

If we died with Christ and were resurrected with Christ, then we are also SONS OF GOD, just like Christ, since Christ is a god, by inheritance we are a god.

Ephesians 4:6 .... ONE GOD ....and Father of ALL ... above ALL .... through ALL ....and IN YOU ALL .....

If God is IN ALL, then all are gods

Why is this so hard to believe, these are God's WORDS.

    God Bless YOU!

    Jimbob:

Are you saying you better than Judas, and you are not a son of perdition.

If the son of perdition is describing a single antichrist; then the antichrist was Judas, and the antichrist has already come; IF 2 Thessalonians 2:3 ....the son of predition is also describing antichrist; then there would be 2 antichrist.

The son of perdition is describing all the antichrist, NOT JUST ONE.

2 John 1:7 ....ye have heard that antichrist shall come, EVEN NOW there are many ANTICHRIST ----sons of perdition ---

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceiver you by any means: for THAT DAY --- 2 Thessalonians 2:8 ---the day the lord consumes you ---destroys YOU --- the son of perdition --- with the brightness of HIS COMING ---his PRESENCE IN YOU ---and there first must come a FALLING AWAY ---what have you got to fall away from ----- your deception ---- an repent of what you believe --- the son of perdition is not someone else IT'S YOU ---- it's any person reading God's word --- the word's of God are for whoever is reading those words --- it's about revealing the KINGDOM to the person reading.

If you judge yourself by GOD'S WORD, you want be judged with the world.

Antichrist is any and everything that isn't Christ --- the word of God --- all the beliefs contrary to God's word.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who CONFESS NOT Jesus is COME in the FLESH, this is a deceiver and an a antichrist.

Have you confessed that Christ is come, by HIS resurrection, and now lives IN YOU --- YOUR flesh ---- or are you still deceived and an antichrist needing to have your carnal mind destroyed.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God that WORKETH IN YOU (your flesh) both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

    Are YOU:

2 Thessalonians 2:4 ... so that he (the son of perdition) sitteth in the temple of God ---- YOUR the temple of God ----so whose on the throne ---Christ, or the son of perdition ----If it's YOU then get back on the cross.

    God Bless YOU!

Hello GiGi. No, I cannot provide Scripture that speaks of Dispensations, as we've been discussing this lately, since this division of Scripture is revealed (or, interwoven) in the Bible as a result of understanding how God has been dealing with Israel & the World. It would be like us using a Bible dictionary, concordance, lexicon, etc. to help us get a better understanding of biblical times or help to find Scripture. Or, even on the subject of Biblical Hermeneutics, as we have discussed with David0920. We won't find any reference to it in the Bible nor how or why we should approach the reading of the Bible in such a manner, yet we still accept its need & validity. Likewise, a dispensational division of Scripture cannot be physically found in the Bible, but it is still evident as we progress through it.

I learned of this many years ago, & also from the material presented by Clarence Larkin. As I mentioned to bro Jesse, I wouldn't teach this as a matter of study to mature believers, as most of us already appreciate how God has worked in the World & in many lives from the time of Adam to the formation & maturing of His Church. But certainly, this would be somewhat helpful to new believers who are trying to make some sense of the structure of this ginormous book in their hands & to appreciate seeing God's Hand at work to bring man from a state of absolute innocence & purity, then succumb to a mighty fall, onto a state of experiencing & living under God's Grace.

How this dispensational teaching is then revealed in pastoral teaching, or its effects, I can't say, since in my own case, I will tend to listen, analyse, query, etc. the speaker on what he shares in the present rather than what might be his underlying beliefs on biblical structure. I hope that answers your questions. And btw, I will be away on vacation for the next three weeks & will be offline for most of it, but will reply to any comments referred to me, on my return. Blessings.

    Thanks for sharing the scripture.

Do you believe this is a metaphor or do you actually believe you were physically crucified with Christ around 2,000 years ago.

John 15:5 says Jesus is the vine and "ye are the branches." Do you believe you are actually just a branch? And do you believe Jesus is literally a vine and nothing else?

If those are the metaphors they obviously are, why do you assume ye are gods is not a metaphor in Psalms 82:6? Isn't that cherry picking something to suit your chosen narrative? In the same sentence it also says ye are children, so if this was honestly applied you would then be a literal child? Otherwise its just cherry picking the gods metaphor which could be considered intellectually dishonest. Are Gods children? Do you really believe there's more than one God, despite what so many other scriptures say?

Even the same author of Psalms only 4 chapters later says there's only one God in Psalm 86:10 "thou art God alone". Do you believe this verse just as much the other one you like? How about all the other verses that clearly say there's only one God like 1 Corinthians 8:6, 2 Samuel 7:22, Deuteronomy 4:39, 1 Chronicles 17:20. Why would someone ignore all these but only focus on believing a metaphor in half of one verse is not one instead?

Shouldn't we be using discernment and reading the Bible with an open heart to what God is teaching us rather than the other way around? Just like kings and rulers are called lords (lowercase to show context), gods does not mean God. Anyone who cherry picks and claims they are a god is really deceived and this comes from satan. Satan loves deceiving people in this way and it has his signature all over it. God bless.

In the Hebrew scriptures, there is NO UPPER case letters, all the places god occurs; it occurs as god, lower case, even referring to god the father, I am not being sneaky, the translators added the capital letters, they are the sneaky ones.

No, I definitely didn't die on the cross with Jesus physically, did you?

Please share the scripture you have in mind. There are metaphors in the Bible, but not everything in the Bible is a metaphor.

Hi GiGi, those are astute observations and very possible. Whatever the case, I genuinely look forward to someday meeting everyone we've interacted with on this forum in heaven, including you. It's mind blowing to even think about what that might be like.

That's cute how you misquoted the verse "gods" to uppercase "Gods." I suspect you know the difference between the two meanings. How sneaky of you.
