The rapture is clearly physical because the Bible describes it physically.

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV

"Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left." Luke 17:35 KJV

These are specific physical examples.

Likewise, Jesus dying on the cross physically happened. If anyone claims that didn't actually happen but was only a spiritual or metaphor then that would be a lie and anyone spreading lies will have to face and explain that before God on judgment day.

Is Christ not a BODY of Flesh and Bone; and the SPIRIT of his Father the LIFE of HIS BODY, the results of HIS resurrection BY the Spirit of HIS Father?

He can reside IN MAN as TRUTH and LIFE; or he can appear in THE FLESH in a LOCKED ROOM.

He can appear as FIRE in a BUSH.

He can appear as a CLOUD over and in the Tent of the tabernacle.

He can appear as column of fire on one side and total darkness on the opposite side.

We have to be BORN of Spirit, and that which is BORN of Spirit is Spirit, because ONLY Spirit is LIFE; BUT God has seen fit to CREATE a BODY for that Spirit to LIVE IN, and he called that BODY his Son Jesus Christ.

By the WORK'S of Christ resurrection we are a NEW CREATION, we have become THE BODY of Christ, he is the LIFE IN US, we are his BODY as HE is the BODY of the FATHER.

When he has subdued ALL CREATION under HIMSELF, he will turn the kingdom back to the Father who gave it to him, and ALL will be a BODY with the LIFE of the FATHER: Just like Christ.

God will be ALL in ALL.

Ephesians 4:4 .... ONE BODY (Christ) ..... ONE SPIRIT (God: LIFE and TRUTH) .......

I consider what you are saying is on the the right track, not that I'm the authority on truth, or that you need my or anyone's approval. Yet, I would consider going deeper into what you are touching on regarding, "When God and His Kingdom is spiritual."

With the focus on "spiritual", or spirit, in John 4:24 we have the statement, "God is Spirit". Therefore, He is not flesh. John 3:6 says, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Therefore, He did not create flesh. John 6:63 states, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing. Therefore, it is the spirit which is life, rendering the flesh as NOTHING.

God creates in His Own Likeness. Is it not reasonable that if God is Spirit, and perfect and eternal, which I'm certain all Christians agree, how can we arrive at the unreasonable conclusion that He creates flesh or that anything He creates is something other than perfect and eternal? It is reasonable also to conclude that if something is created perfect, and then becomes imperfect, for whatever REASON, including sin, then it could not have been created perfect in its original creation.

The word "reason" is often used in the Bible; commonly as a noun. In Isaiah 1:18 it is used as verb. Is it is not then reasonable to conclude that God created our mind to use REASON to understand what is obvious? The "devil is afraid of the obvious that arrives through reasonable thinking, since obviousness is the essential characteristic of reality, or truth. The rest i.e. anything pertaining to the flesh, profiteth nothing, does not matter, counts for nothing.

Perhaps all of our conceived and perceived problems arise from what should be considered the "root of all evil", is the authority problem. Is our Author the Creator of Spirit which creates eternal spirit and life? Or is our author flesh that made flesh which is not eternal? Can't be both.

The 42 months in Revelation is the 3 1/2 years of Christ ministry in the flesh; ending in HIS death and resurrection, not the reign of a single man called antichrist.

The word (wrath) is #3709; it means violent passion, or [justifiable] abhorrence, by implying punishment, anger, indignation, vengeance, wrath. Before reading your bible, you need to Pray and ask God to open His word for your understanding, Wisdom comes from God and the wisdom which he gives is not like the world.

As indicated by the word of God, our Prayers are heard and God takes our prayers seriously, In the book of Hebrews we see that the prophets prayed by faith and God answered their Prayers and Shut heavens and no rain poured for three years.

So, it's important when one makes a vow before God to be able to perform it by fulfilling what you have told God you will do.

For example, a young man once prayed before God and ask God to help him go to a foreign country and he will preach the Gospel to the world. Within few days or weeks God answered His prayers and opened that chance to happen. Now that young man had received his request and one day God opened the chance for His word to be preached around the world though that young man.

Now if this young man preaches the gospel, he will perform his vows Before God. but if he fails to do so then he will be a fool who has not kept his word before God, and a double minded man unstable in his way.

Its also important to note that God is faithful who will also do it.

So while Praying before God be sure what you request you will do it, or else do ask if you know you will be unable to pay your vows before God.

I don't know what your doubt is. But if you are struggling with your relationship with God and whether or not God has saved you, that is NOT a bad place to be. It could be a very health place to be.

First and foremost, spend time reading the Bible knowing that when you do, you are sitting at the feet of God Himself, listening to God as He speaks to you through His Word. Do not worry if you do not understand much of what you are reading. You will be in the environment where God saves and leads us into Truth.

You might read the Book of Jonah which is God's account of how He saved many of the Ninevites. Nineveh was the capital of Assyria, a very wicked nation with essentially no knowledge at all of the Word of God. But as Jonah preached to them and declared that God would destroy them in 40 days, they humbled themselves recognizing that they were in deep and terrible trouble with God, and they cried to God for Mercy that maybe God would repent and not destroy them, in other words that God might save them. And we see that God did save 120,000 of them because He was all the time drawing them and causing them to come to Him with no righteousness in themselves what so ever. In other words, God must do all the work in saving us. And God does not save us based on what we know about the Bible nor because of anything we do. As the Hymn goes "nothing in my hands I bring, only to thy Cross I cling". Our trust must be in Christ ALONE and the work that He has done in saving any one of us. Christ came to save sinners deserving of His Wrath; not people who think they are worthy in any sense.

You might also read Ezekiel 36:24-31 which is a beautiful picture of Salvation with God doing all of the Work to Save us.

Most importantly, spend time reading the Word of God, the Bible, recognizing that the Bible ALONE and its ENTIRITY is the WORD OF GOD and is the authority for our life.

Rev.13:5-8 Tell us the antichrist is given power for 42 months,(This will be great tribulation, the time of testing) v.8 says all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, ((whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.)) If your name is written in the book of life you will still be on the earth at this time, but you have kept His Word and that will keep you from being deceived as to not accept the mark of the beast. There are 7 churches, to ALL 7 He said "He that overcometh, or to him that overcometh" and those who overcome will receive ((from Jesus Christ good things)). Rev.2:7 is (Ephesus) Rev.2:11 is (Smyrna) Rev.2:17 is (Pergamos) Rev.2:26 is (Thyatira) Rev.3:5 is (Sardis) Rev.3:12 is (Philidelphia) Rev.3:21 is (Laodicea) ALL 7 CHURCHES have those who overcome! Do not be like the preterists, who do not believe in God and his report but turn to themselves and the truth to fables. And this is true because it has been given to us in these last days according to the testimony of the holy angels and John, but it is his word that is faithful and true.

Appart from this, The kingdom of heaven is physical. Be it on earth or in heaven.

Some translations use the word "women" in place of "company". NIV and ASV use women. Wonder why? This verse was used on banners by marchers in 1920 in their effort to support women's right to vote. I am confused. Why was it altered in some versions?

Struggling with doubt..Faith in God's word needed

I cannot understand how the rapture cd be physical....When God and his Kingdom is spiritual....And Rev 11:15..The angel said the kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ....And he shall reign for ever and ever...Thus the Kingdom of heaven will be with in us right here on this earth.....The H.G. is the Kingdom....Remember Jesus said thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven....But Heaven is in the spiritual realm....The Kingdom of God is not in meat or drink but in joy and peace in the H.G....Which is spirit....Meeting him in the air is just prophetic of meeting him in the spirit...On the day of Pentecost they met him in the air which was that mighty rushing wind....Which was the H.G....Jesus just uses air and wind as symbolic language for the H.G. ....But he was talking bout the spirit..We meet him in the spirit which is that gift of the H.G....Which is that Child of PROMISE that has to be born in us....Thats y he is saying that which is BORN, BORN of the spirit tis spirit the H.G. My understanding of speaking in tongue is this.

This is a gift of God the Holy Spirit and He gives it to Whoever He chooses and some Of us have different Gifts and By Us I mean Christians who have Repented of their sins at the cross and believe in Lord Jesus christ the son of God who died at the cross and His blood washed away our sins. and This is a gift of God and none of our working.

-Most christians tend to stick to speaking in tongue but instead of praying and asking God to show us what gifts or Gift He has for us for the edification of His Ministry.

-The only way to find out is by Prayer, came in faith Before Jesus the son of God and ask Him to show (us) you what Gifts He has prepared for you.

Its written in Ephesians 2:10

10,For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
