I can see how it reflects some things about our Lord and the church.
But, it is with caution that I consider any information that is not taught in Scripture, and I cannot remember reading in the Bible these 7 steps of betrothal and marriage in the Jewish tradition
But nonetheless, it is truly a beautiful tradition. So, again, thank you.
....Thats y Jesus is saying that which is born of the spirit is spirit...Which is the H.G. our new innerman....Our new heart and new spirit...We us sinners can only be a JOINT HEIR with the H.G. When we are bornagain...The Elect has to be born in us via the seed of Jesus...Which is the H.G. the Child of Promise....Its only the H.G that can show Judgement to the Gentiles and the Jews...As he is the Spirit of truth that is gona rule all nations.
Isaiah 41:1...Behold my servant in whom is my soul well pleased...I will put my spirit on him and he shall show judgement to the Gentiles....And Jesus tells us the gift of God is the H.G....Thus the H.G. wd have to be the Elect...We are just a joint heir with the H.G. That Child of Promise which is Spirit...There are 2 Israels 1 is earthy and 1 is heavenly...But God didn't sware by himself when he made the earthy Promise....God only swore by himself when he made the heavenly PROMISE...Which was multiplication of Christ SEED...The living word the H.G is that living being the Promise...The only Elect but we can be a joint heir with the H.G...Gal.4:1 Now i say unto you the heir as long as he is a Child differs nothin from servant till the time Appointed of the Father tho he BE LORD OF ALL...Thats the H.G. THAT IS LORD OF ALL THE ELECT...But he has to come as a Child our new born that results from the seed of Jesus...She brought forth a man child that is gonna rule all nations...Read ISAIAH 42...The Elect is the H.G. The only gift of God...Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child (the H.G.) you will in no wise enter there in.....That Child of PROMISE..Natural Israel was the seed of men...But the Israel of God is via the seed of Christ Jesus the living word That N.C.
At least you understand that repenting has to do with our coming to truth, not continually asking God to forgive our sins: they are ALREADY FORGIVEN, you will continue to grow and come to maturity, so the SEED can be harvested.
This is a process, just as wheat has to grow before it can be harvested.
If you don't mature, your just as chaff, and blown from the threshing floor.
God Bless YOU!
I agree with you, I was raise in a church, taught by my parents, pastors, Sunday school teachers: this is all God's work, part of the plan of God, everyone posting on here, and those reading those post, is part of God's plan, but most people just stop with the basic, the milk, and never mature, able to digest the WORDS.
I was taught, believe in Jesus and you go to heaven, don't believe and go to hell, this is a far cry from what the WORD teaches about THE KINGDOM.
As we mature we should encourage other to get off MILK.
God has a plan for everyone in his creation, and through HIS knowledge and wisdom, all will eventually submit themselves to Christ, and God will be all in all.
Eternity is a long time; is it linear, or a circle?
In God's eyes IT'S ALREADY DONE.
Thaddeous and Lebbaeus were most likely names given to him by his family. Luke calls him Judas (not Iscariot). Judas was most likely his birthname.
Your thoughts are worth giving consideration. I agree that what one has been taught will influence how they interpret Scripture. That is why we have so many viewpoints. It is good to take these different ideas and study them to see if they align with Scripture. Learning how those who adhere to their viewpoint support it and also learning how those who hold a different view explains their objections to that which they do not hold to is good to do.
We all need to be humble, teachable, discerning, and able to recognize the lead of the the true Holy Spirit in matters of doctrine and practice. The history of the church over the centuries is riddled with differing views and doctrines on many important Scriptural teachings. God has given the church over the centuries many men who have been blessed with strong intellectual skills shaped by faith that have rebutted false ideas and also intelligently explained Scriptural truths to believers throughout history. The Apostle Paul is one of those men so gifted and used of God as a gift to the church. The church has a long history of similar men, not that their words are inspired Scripture, but, like Paul, they have been gifted intellectually in order to give a reasoned, measured, thoughtful, and seasoned defense of the faith once and for all handed down to the church.
I understand the importance to test all things according to the Word of God. And I do think that we mature as believers over time and there is need to discard some viewpoints on Scripture and doctrines in favor of more accurate understanding.
I differ with you in that I will not despise the teachings of my parents, pastors, or others I know in the Lord who trained me up in the faith. This is the function of these people. To think that a person alone, and without outside instruction from seasoned believers can rightly interpret the Scriptures unerringly is a false and dangerous idea. It opens one up to all sorts of imaginings that go against God's word. I am not saying that the Spirit does not teach us truthfully. He does, but this is often through interaction with other believers with the Word. Loners tend to fall into great error and those who insist that they do not need to consider the teachings of other believers leads one to be unteachable even before the Holy Spirit.
But we each can have our view on this and be at peace as it is not a salvific matter.
Thank you for responding.
I believe you are correct regarding the sequence of events. The return of Christ, the Resurrection, the Rapture, and the beginning of Judgement Day are simultaneous events occurring IMMEDIATELY after the Great Tribulation. Matt 24 and other passages are very clear about that.
The Great Tribulation is a spiritual event. It is not a time of unusual physical suffering and is not a political event involving specific nations of the world.
I believe we are currently living in that day, as I have posted earlier.
Thank you for the reply. I guess we're just going to have to remain in disagreement. If the Lord returns during our lifetime, and you believe you will be here during the tribulation, then I do wish you all the luck. As for me, I don't believe I will be here.
In your comment to Chris on Matthew 24, you said God shortens this time, or no flesh can be SAVED, and your right, CAN ONE BE SAVED NOW, if so then that great tribulation has already taken place.
It took pace from the time Jesus, left the supper table and went into the garden, was delivered up, and crucified on the cross.
The seven vial of Revelation; the wrath of God was poured out on Christ at this time.
No on could enter the temple until the plagues were fulfilled.
Anyone can enter the temple NOW, because the time was cut short, all wrath was poured out on Christ, It's already complete and the prophecies fulfilled.
It's all right here, in Mosses and the Prophets, if you put the scriptures in the RIGHT ORDER, all the pieces have to fit in the right place to be able to see the PICTURE.
God Bless YOU!
Keep in mind that the true meaning of what the words in a verse are is more important than memorizing. Perceiving correctly the meaning will aid in memorization. Meditate on the meaning of the words throughout the day and night, and then the next day, then the next, and so on. It takes much willingness and desire for Truth, i.e. remembering God and His Perfect Love. Continuously pray for truth and only truth. The Holy Spirit's Voice is only as loud as our willingness to listen. It can never be louder without violating our freedom of choice, which the Holy Spirit seeks to restore, never to undermine.
There is another voice that hates us, which speaks much louder and very deceitfully will at times try to disguise his voice as that of the Voice for God. The Voice for God is always quiet because it always speaks of PEACE. The voice that wants to destroy is always in conflict, it opposes God (if that were possible) and its goal is war within a conflicted mind. This should always give us a clue which voice we are hearing. Be still and know God is God.

Mark wrote that the man asked, "What do you want with ME . . . JESUS said to HIM, "Come out of this man you evil SPIRIT!
My name is Mangrum-Spicer, and we are many!
My question is who is the person who fell at Jesus' feet.
Its confusing to me because if its John why would Jesus tell him not to worship him and that he was of his brethren.
Was it the Spirit that was showing John what John needed to know?
I understand you are busy with work and your concerns about your brother, so not to rush, not on Daniel, but just a few things to consider about Matthew 24. My understanding of Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 is twofold, for then, and our future.
The reason is, history tells us the believers in Jesus got out and went to Pella across the Jordan river before the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD. And on the sabbath, today would not matter but then the gates would be locked, and it would be hard to leave.
Matt. 24:3, in Mark, we see it was Peter, James, John, and Andrew that ask Jesus in private. Jesus had just told them the temple would be destroyed and Matthew records "what sign of thy coming and the end of the world." It is easy to jump to they were talking about Jesus' second coming, but.
Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection were hidden from them until all was done. Luke 9:44-45 Luke 18:31-34 and after they did not believe He resurrected. Mark 20:9-11 Luke 24:6-8, John 20:9. Even right before He ascended, they were expecting Jesus to set up the kingdom then, Acts 1:6. So why in Matthew 24:3 would we interpret it as if they were asking Jesus about His second coming?
I will send you by this weekend what I have studied on the six things determined in Daniel 9:24 if I can shorten it enough, I do not like to send long posts. If you don't want me to post it let me know.
God bless,

The reason I asked is because I have heard people discrediting a pastor for saying they were twins and am wanting to find out how they can discredit someone for something that may very well be true.
Thank You Again
In addition to what you are correctly stating; everyone has a tendency to stand guard over their ideas because we want to protect our thought systems as they are, and learning something different means change. In out current state of mind, we can only perceive, which is open to degrees beyond calculation. God is Knowledge and it is ONLY Him Who knows. Knowledge is all ONE and has no separate parts; no degrees, levels, variations, and no conflict whatsoever. When we KNOW, we obviously will quit debating and asking questions. All will arrive to that time when we know. When that time arrives, time will be over and eternity will be reality. Until then though, we need to persevere towards perceiving from sick perception towards perceiving correctly as we open our mind to what the Holy Spirit is teaching. If we are not continuously learning and adjusting our system of thought, we only prolong time, and time is not a concept in the Kingdom. I will not fear changing my mind about changing my mind. Thus I will continue to grow.

Daniel 9:25-28
The prince is Christ.
Daniel 9:25 ...now the MESSIAH the PRINCE ......
Daniel 9:26 ....and the people of the PRINCE (Christ) that SHALL COME ----those born again, the New Creation in Christ ....
Daniel 9:28 And he ( Messiah, the prince) shall make a COVENANT with many for ONE WEEK (the week of PASSOVER), and in the midst of the week (of passover) shall he cause the sacrifice and offering TO CEASE, and for the OVERSPREADING of ABOMINATION shall HE MAKE it DESOLATE, even until the consumption, and that DETERMINED ( Joel 2:28) shall be POURED on the DESOLATE.
God Bless YOU!
Yes, some say that but if we examine the text closely it groups Titus with "The People" who destroyed the city and the sanctuary.
Let's highlight what the people shall do.
AND THE PEOPLE of the prince that shall come SHALL DESTROY THE CITY AND THE SANCTUARY; (That's what Titus did.) He's part of the people.
They are the people of the prince that SHALL COME. ( This means after the destruction.) And he haven't come yet.
vs 27 continues on about this prince.
'(AND HE) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate".
This Parallels the work of the Antichrist in Revelation and Jesus makes reference to this as end times prophecy in Matthew 24:15.
"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Jesus was answering the questions of the disciples from vs 3.
(And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?)
This puts the work of the prince in Daniel 9 far future.
Daniel 9:24 is the scope of things.
Daniel 9:25 details the 69 weeks.
Daniel 9:26 details the interval. (What's to happen after the 69th week but BEFORE the 70th week.
Daniel 9:27 details the 70th week.
I will elaborate more on this over the weekend.
God bless.
In Joel 2:24 and 3:13 where it says "your fats will overflow with wine and oil". Seems it should
be "vats" not "fats". I did not see in spelling anything about the f changing to a v or vice versa.
Thanks and hope to hear from you.
We are constantly seeing; but not seeing.
This is all God's doing, we repent of our seeing; but not seeing, as he causes light to shine into darkness, if your not constantly repenting of you beliefs an growing in wisdom and understanding, your not maturing in the word.
We started learning by what our elders taught us, they most often are still in darkness, also, it's hard to repent of mans teachings, because we think our parents and pastors KNOW, which is probably not true.
As you study ask yourself; did I learn this from MAN, or the teaching of the SPIRIT.
Remember the whole world has been deceived, only the Spirit can bring you to TRUTH: It'a all the WORK of God, not man.
God Bless YOU!
Revelation 6:6 ...and see thou hurt not the oil and wine.
The OLD is a SHADOW of the NEW.
Numbers 18:12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and the wheat, the FIRSTFRUITS of them which they shall offer to the LORD, them have I given thee.
Numbers 18:13 And WHOSOEVER is FIRST RIPE in the land, which they shall bring in to the LORD, SHALL BE THINE; everyone that is clean in THINE HOUSE shall eat of it.
Romans 8:23 Not only they, but WE OURSELVES, which have the FIRSTFRUITS of the Spirit ....
Revelation 14:4 ...being the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and the Lamb.
1 Corinthians 15:23 .....Christ the FIRSTFRUITS ......
Notice Christ the firstfruits is PLURAL.
Galatians 4:19 .....till Christ be FORMED IN YOU ....
Revelation 6:6 ....and see thou not hurt the oil and the wine (the firstfruits).
God Bless YOU!
