I forgot to put the meaning of the word (called) in my last reply. From Rev.19:9 Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb,.. called#2564; "to call" aloud, bid, call (forth) (whose sur-) name (was called) This connects perfectly with Isa.45:4 For Jacob my servants sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even (called) thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. Thank you again Jesse.

You said this is the explanation of THE COMMANDMENT Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: "Using God name in vain is specifically talking about people who come in his name miss representing him with false doctrines such as what is the perceived actual name of God.."

Please show me the scriptures supporting what you wrote that define the second commandment as you presented it to me. I know of none as such.

I believe that Jah says what he means and Jah means what he says.

He said not to make his name useless.(in vain)

If we no longer use his name by replacing it with other names and his titles of authority; then we have made his name Useless by not ever using it.

My question is: why deny the Hebrew name of the Messiah?

Even Jahshua blessed him that didn't deny his name in Revelations letter in the angel of the church of Philadelphia!

Everyone's name defines them, who they are, & which family. Names are very important.

Why would he who will sit on the throne of David, rule over all of Israel, and being born in a nation speaking Hebrew/Aramaic, language, the anointed one of Israel, who's mother is an Israelite, name her child with a foreign Heathen name of Greek and Roman origin that doesn't praise the God of Israel as the name Jah-shua does?

Yes Yah also are given the right to choose to do as you please by Jah.

Show me a verse saying once you believe you are saved.

I will show you five to one saying your lying.

    James 2:26

"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

    James 2:24

"Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only."

    Romans 6:1

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?" Romans 6:2

"God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Matthew 7:23

"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

That word is lawlessness or too be without the ten commandments.

These Couple of verse should keep you occupied from now on.

But if not there is a whole Bible full I could continue.

Jesse, thanks for the reply. Jesus says in Mt.24:21-22 that the great tribulation will be shortened for the elects sake, just a few verses later He says "Immediately after the tribulation" so we know the elect go through the tribulation period. The verse in my last post Isa.45:4 says 'Israel mine elect" thats the descendants of Israel. The elect, the church, the body of Christ, the bride of Christ are all the same. theyre just called different names by different people from different books of the Bible. Jesus comes in the clouds One time and its to gather His elect, the church. When we go up to meet our Lord in the clouds, thats when the marriage supper of the Lamb happens. In Rev.Ch.7:3-4 show us all the tribes of the children of Israel being sealed as the servants of God in their foreheads. v.9 shows a great multitude that no man could number, stand before the throne and before the Lamb clothed with (white robes). v.14 tells us these are they which came out of great tribulation. now if we read Rev.19:7-9 we see that the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. v 8 tell us And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white. (fine linen, clean and white) v.9 says Blessed are they which are (called) unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. Now if we look ahead a few verses to 11-16 this is when Jesus returns on a white horse and those armies that come with Him are clothed in (fine linen, white and clean) in v.14. Remember v.9 said Blessed are those who are (called) to marriage supper of the Lamb. Eph.1:22-23 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church. (23.Which is his body, the fulness of him that fitteth all in all. (This verse tells us the church is the body of Christ) Rom.12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, Back to v.9 those (called), The word "church" is #1577; it means a calling out. We will meet our Lord in the clouds. Yes please, Mt,24:29-31

How many people become deceived to think that they are born again and saved and nothing will take away their salvation that they were told that they now had by reciting the "sinners prayer", that continued to sin because nothing could take away their salvation; because they are told that they are born again? These will perish in the judgment because they didn't turn from their sin to obey God. Matthew "each man shall be judged according to his works. & "By every idle word you speak, ye shall be judged."

How can we be born again if we have not died?

Isn't the resurrection being born again of spirit in heaven, where all of those who are there are spirit?

The world believes that the millions of Christians will be saved. That's a lot of people. But the Messiah said "For narrow is THE WAY that leads to life and *FEW* BE THERE THAT FIND IT.

Are these words of jahshua no longer the truth, replaced by a new ideological doctrine of faith that makes these words of his become void?

Psalm 119 Lamed "*Forever* Jahwey thy word is settled in Heaven."

We are saved the instant we have been judged in heaven and hear the words: "Well done my faithful servant." Then you can rest assured, without a doubt that you are saved.

We have been instructed to follow Jahshua and be like him. Jahshua proved himself worthy unto the very Last second of his life doing the will of his Father. "It is finished." And he died.

Yes I hope and pray in the name of Jahshua that I survive the last hour of temptation in my life to be saved.

Jahshua said: "....to him that ENDURETH UNTIL THE END..."

    Dc730banks;

The Spirit of the Father raised Christ from the dead on a Friday the sixth day of the week, and Christ rested the seventh day, he had finished all the works of the Father. The women didn't come to the tomb until the first day of the week, because they also rested the seventh day, they found the tomb empty, he was already resurrected: according to scripture on Friday the sixth day, he died and was buried Wednesday BEFORE sundown; that is the first day and night in the grave, Thursday and night, 2 days and nights in the grave: Friday and night, 3 days in the grave, The Father raised him sometime after sundown on Friday.

We share that rest, we were resurrected with Christ, we too cease from our works, the WORKS of Christ are COMPLETE and HIS WORDS BEING FULFILLED made us complete in our being raised with Christ, Christ is the RESURRECTION.

Look at all the scriptures that prophesy this.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he HIM (him not them), male and female created he THEM (they became one).

Genesis 5:2 Male and female created he them, and he called THEIR NAME ADAM ( the bride always takes the name of her husband), in the day they were created.

Genesis 1:31 ...and the evening and morning were the sixth day.

This creation wasn't possible until the RESURRECTION.

The first man was made of the dust; and the blood was the LIFE, the second man was raised IMMORTAL and LIFE was CHRIST (the spirit of OUR FATHER).

Psalms 104:30 Thou sendest forth they spirit: They are CREATED (Christ and man, RESURRECTED to a new creation): thou renewest the face of the earth.

Acts 2:38 And be ye BAPTISED in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST ...

The bride always takes THE NAME of her HUSBAND.

Have you come to this TRUTH.

    God Bless YOU!

    Hi U4YAH,

Many keep traditions that have been for 100s of years, and I know some chose Wednesday to fit Matthew 12:40. I also agree we should go with the scripture, and it takes all four gospels to show the truth on this. If I may, in love, and not to be argumentive give some things to consider about this week. Jesus died at 3 pm hours before sunset.

If we read all four gospels it gives us a day-by-day account of what Jesus did each day and there were, including the day Jesus rode in and the day Jesus was crucified, five days.

If Jesus was crucified on Wed. Thur. would be the High Sabbath, the first day of the seven-day feast and that would make Fri. a regular preparation day for the weekly Sabbath. The women could have gone to the tomb on Fri., but this week had two Sabbaths Fri, and Sat.

I understand this is short and will give more if wanted.

    God bless,

    RLW

The Sabbath day was changed to Sunday, the day of the Sun god in the Heathen worship by the Roman Empire by the Caesar of that day in a tribunal council of all of the priest of the empire to make a decree (law) stating the name of their new god and his nature/character/diety. They decided upon the name of Jesus H. (Horus) Christ (Krishna) to be the god of Rome on the tribunal council of Nicaea.

They had several tribunal councils and in either this council or some other council they(the Roman empire's priests decided upon Sunday to be changed from the Jewish Sabbath on Saturday to the day of the Sun, Sunday.

Every verse you quote is absolutely true. It is the Word of God (not the word of Paul). But every verse you quote must be read in its immediate context and also the context of what the entire Bible teaches about the Nature of Salvation. if you are teaching "sinless perfection" that is a false doctrine. If you are teaching that our obedience to the Law of God contributes to our salvation that is a false doctrine. if you are teaching that we can lose our salvation that is a false doctrine.

If we have become saved, it means that we have become Born Again. God has given is our resurrected soul in which we will have an earnest desire to be obedient to the Law of God. And we will see a significant change in our life when compared to a time before God saved us and we will develop a hatred for sin in our life and will grow in grace as our understanding of the Bible increases. God chastens those whom He loves as a father does his son (I paraphrase)

One purpose of God's Law is to show us our sinfulness and need of a savior. It is our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ in those whom God is saving.

    Habakkuk 3, in context

Habakkuk 3:3, it is a prayer, proclaiming GOD's power. It appears to me that he is saying by evidence of GOD moving through Teman. As Judgement references Jeremiah 49:20, Ezekiel 25:13, Amos 1:12, Obediah 1, notice Genesis 36:15 Jeremiah 49:7, Edom named Esau same person, Teman was in his lineage.

Notice also when examining Habakkuk 3:3, tap scripture then scroll down, you'll see the word used fof GOD is (elowah) it's same word used in Daniel 11:38, Deuteronomy 32:17, Habakkuk 1:1, seemingly significant as different than uses in the rest of scripture, as names of GOD.

    Hopefully this is helpful

  • David0920 - 1 year ago
Salvation is 100% the work of God.

Any obedience to any command of God is a WORK that we do and does not initiate nor maintain our salvation. If we have become saved, it is 100% the work of God and not because of any work that we do. When God saves us he gives us a New Heart, a Resurrected Soul in which we will have an ongoing earnest desire to keep God's commandments. But we still have a body that lusts after sin so we will never keep God's law perfectly until we receive our Resurrected Spiritual Body on the Last Day. Our obediance to the Law of God is a RESULT of our salvation; not the CAUSE nor the MEANS.

In our unsaved condition we are SPIRITUALLY DEAD. There is none righteous, no not one, there is none that seeketh after God. God raising Lazerus from the dead is a picture of salvation. Lazerus contributed nothing. Christ did all the work. And God does all the work to save His Elect. He paid for our sins. He draws us to Himself. He gives us a New Heart. Eze 36:24-32

You may do what you want. That is a God given right. But if everyone on here is disrespectful to the name of God then why are you here?? Don't make doctrines where there are none.

Using God name in vain is specifically talking about people who come in his name miss representing him with false doctrines such as what is the perceived actual name of God..

God has more names than you will ever comprehend. But for those who speak English it IS GOD THE FATHER, JESUS CHRIST, HIS SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

AND THESE THREE ARE ONE. NOT NUMERICALLY ETHER

    Lynn Pitts,

I'm hoping GOD pulled through for you with shelter over your head. I had a dream last night that I was asking a US retired Marine, to show me how to survive outside, without freezing. I was weeping, (because our situation is dire in real life & in the dream) he started to show me & started to set things up, upon a sheltered rock. I declared urgently "Wait! I have 3 children, this needs to protect them too!" Then he picked the materials up & the situation changed. Later in the dream, I was holding that retired Marine in my arms weightlessly up in water & helping baptize him. Leading him in the walk of a believer in the LORD & Word of GOD. The leader that was supposed to be doing the baptism seemed to be saying things & doing things wrongly. I quickly submerged the Marine under water declaring scripture. He stayed very close to me until a woman needed my help. Then I went with her, helping her fight the evil attacks against her. I'm not sure what the dreams I've been having mean fully, but I came across your prayer request again & I'm going out on a limb thinking it may be connected. I believe many of us that help here on this site, will pray about dire situations but don't have a response we feel is good enough encouragement to post. I have pondered scripture & prayer for you a couple of times. I've even tried to reach out to Samaritan's Purse Ministry on your behalf but my message failed to send in their platform.

We're in a difficult season to say the least. We will make it through these times! I believe it! We need each other in these times & in the days & years ahead. This is a place like: Philippians 2, Philippians 3:10-21, Romans 12:1-13, Ephesians 3:16-21, 2Timothy 2:1-3, James 5:10-11, 2Corinthians 11:25-27, Matthew 8:19-20,

I was reassured in my spirit, these difficult oppressive moments I'm facing are for others. It's a bigger better plan. 2Corinthians 4, Psalms 139, Psalms 37,

    Hopefully these are all helpful

It was on the first day if the week as it is written.

John 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

This is day that we call "Sunday" today. In the old and ancient scriptures it is called The First day. Counting six days to arrive to the Seventh Day, the Sabbath Day, the Seventh Day, we call that day Saturday today.

The question should be: which day was the Messiah crucified! Because many people have been deceived to believe that it was Friday. This is impossible according to the scriptures.

Fact: Jahshua, the Messiah tells us that he will be in the belly of the Earth as Jonah was in the belly of a big fish for a sign unto a wicked generation desiring a sign. 3 Days and night was Jonah in the big fish (not a whale)

So knowing that he rose from the dead on the First day, all we need to do is count backwards three days and we will arrive at Wednesday, which was the day before the high holy day of the feast and was a high Sabbath day of the feast of unleavened bread. No matter what day of the week it fell on would be a Sabbath day. That year the high holy Sabbath of the feast was on Thursday, so he had to die before the Sabbath of feast, before Thursday. So not Counting Wednesday the day of the crucifixion count forward three days and we are at the Seventh day, another Sabbath. Then Jahshua is resurrected as soon as the Seventh day is over on Sunday, the first day of the week.

After knowing this,, someone tell me how he could be crucified on Friday and spend 3 days in the grave till Sunday, the first day.

If he was crucified Friday and died at the end of that day at sunset, which is the beginning of the new day, Saturday; then where are the other two days the Messiah said that he would still be in the grave? By believing that he was crucified on Friday, one would believe that he was in the grave for only one day. Remember! 3 Days & NIGHTS in the grave.

    2 Peter

    3

    2 Peter 3:16

"As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction

This is Peter describing people like you who use Paul's writings.

But just in case your confused here are the words of Paul

    Romans 6:1

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?"

    Romans 6:6

"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."

    Romans 3:31

"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."

I could keep this up all day but I figure no amount of scripture will sway you from this doctrine of demons you have swallowed.

Everyone is capable of imagining all types of truths that fit their own agendas. I have without a doubt proved from Scripture that any so called believer is bound by the ten commandments. The scripture I shared is only scratching the surface, I haven't even begun to share all the scriptures.

    1 John 2:4

"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

    Isaiah 8:20

"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." and on and on. Now if you want to believe some other religion then you have the right, but do not assume you are following the gospel of christ, and then try and lead others down the same path of darkness.

If you want to learn ask me a question I will answer with the word then all debating comes to an end!!

2 Tim 3:16,17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Note... ALL SCRIPTURE... not just the New Testement or select chapters or verses...ALL SCRIPTURE...from GENESIS to REVELATION. And we have not come to truth until we have harmonized our understanding with everything the Bible has to say on any subject.

    Hi Rashupe20,

No. God did not create evil. Therefore the evil past has nothing to do with God. He did not create it, nor does He maintain it. God does not believe in retribution. His Mind does not create that way. Love can and ONLY create Itself and nothing but Itself. Evil and Love cannot coexist in the Mind of God, simply because they oppose each other. If God Who is Love opposed Himself, He would, along with creation be divided and thus not be able to stand, which is impossible. But a divided mind, having a split allegiance can and WILL believe the impossible.

    Peace

Eze 36:24-27,31 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them....Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

Gal 3:7-14,18 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith....For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

You speak much truth that may help many.

Consider more truth of a passage you quoted.

Many if those who the Messiah sent away in his judgement had to be Christians. They are described as doing what Christians are well known for doing: great works in his name; healing the sick in his name., asking for Miracles in his name, etc...

Prophesy is to speak the will of God/Jah with his words to the people to instruct and teach them the will of the most high God.

Reading the Bible publicly in church is doing exactly that. They are speaking his word instructing the people of his will for them and his instruction for righteousness.

But these people whom he sent away and said: "I knew you not", did not obey the commandment to love God/Jah and to love all people regardless who they are. Brethren, neighbors, or enemies.

To live our life for love. God/Jah is Love.

He tells them what they should have done to obey the ways of Love.

The Messiah then gives evidence of their lack of knowledge about love. (Lack of knowledge is killing my people)

To feed the hungry, visit the sick and those in prison, to give to those in need begging from you to help, & Psalm 82 defend the poor and fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and needy, rid out of the hand of the wicked.

By doing these things we believe his words and obey what God has commanded by loving all forms of people on the Earth.

He is telling them that his way is Love. And they walked in a different way with pride, "choking on the knat but swallowing the camel."

They ignored the words of the Messiah: all of the word/law of God/Jah is Love, kindness, mercy and forgiveness.

Those sent away were single verse beleivers. There is nothing that Jah said in his word that is less important than another. It is completely important in "everything" He has said. We know that even in our lives, it's the small things in love that keeps it together or tears it apart. Look at all of the marriages torn apart by the small things overlooked.

    Jimbob,

Please allow me to make a correction.

Pains of birth: first 3-1/2 years of the Tribulation.

Perils of tribulation: the last 3-1/2 years of the Great Tribulation.
  • Jesse - In Reply - 1 year ago
    Jimbob,

To answer your question, yes, I do believe in a pre- tribulation rapture of the church. However, I do not base that belief on Matthew 24:29-31. I base my belief on what I read in 1 Thessalonians Chapter 5.

Here's something I think is important to understand about end time prophecy:

All prophecies concerning the last days are based upon Daniel 9:24-27, which presents the 70th week of Daniel. And the 70th week of Daniel is divided into four section:

    1) Pains of birth: first 3 years of the Tribulation. ( Matthew 24:4-14)

    2) Pivotal point: the mid-point of the Tribulation. ( Matthew 24:15)

    3) Perils of tribulation: the last 3 years of the Great Tribulation. ( Matthew 24:16-28)

    4) Promise of his coming: the Second Coming of Christ. ( Matthew 24:29-32)

All end time prophecy is centered on the Jewish people.

I can give you my understanding of Matthew 24:29-31, but only if you are interested.

Now I do have a question for you. In one of your posts, you say the elect are not the Jews, but the bride of Christ, the church. But in your current post, you are telling me that the elect are the children of Israel.

    Am I missing something here?
