Thx for your response, in peace. Now I think we're done with the 10 Commandments. Long ago. A living Christian filled with the Holy Spirit will sin no more in this way as u Mean. Because everyone will not sin who have the Spirit of God. We dont do this at all, we got a new heart from heaven. And Because Jesus sacrificed Himself once and for all. With His blood He has cleansed us from all sin. His blood was clean. This is everywhere in the bible. We cannot and will not sin. If we make violations, we must settle our grievances of course. We can not sin, wil not sin, becouse we have being called from the living God. And I said Yes to the living God. Amen. Some may not see this until they accept and repend from death Deeds. All ppl have to see Jesus Christ as their King and Master in life. Now this is easy and misunderstand so do it right.

All people who believe that Jesus is born of the virgin Mary, dead and buried rose 3 day. Now sitting with God Father Him Self. And that He took the sin of all ppl upon Himself so that we might live in Him.

Who can contradict God and His Word? Do not put on vices and be bound in them, then u are not fre. When ppl get a new born life with the Lord Jesus Christ, see everything is new. We want never to go back to what was before in our death life.

Romans 14:9-13 God bless all love u all in Christ

We are a family of 3 and are saved by grace through faith in the crucified and risen Lord Jesus Christ and in his shed blood as the only and complete pavement for our sins. Our daughter Erin has had some bad breathing problems. Please pray for her that the Lord will cure her. Thanks in Christ.

I don't understand your logic justifying that God doesn't care what name you call him by, he knows what you mean.

If that would be true then why did he give a commandment in the ten commandments saying: Thou shalt not take my name in vain?

The common thought about this is not to mention his name as a cuss word, or not to just say his name in frivolous conversation. Example: oh my God when something surprises us.

But the words of this commandment are explicit of the intention of it's true meaning.

I believe that most everyone understands the meaning of: in vain. Of course, everyone knows that this means: useless. Something said or done in vain is useless.

No one can argue with the truth. The truth is self-evident and undeniable.

With understanding the commandment is keep his name hallowed and preserved as his true and unique set-apart name forever.

If he knows what we mean when we call him by another name and respects that, then we can call him by any name at all because he knows what we mean. Go ahead and call him Richard, Alfonso, Igor; you believe he knows what you mean.

If it is not important then why did Jahshua commend the Angel of the Church of Philadelphia for not denying his name and call him by another name?(Jahshua which is a praise unto Jahshua's God, Jah)

You said that we must obey all the Ten commandments then why would you not keep this one?

I will show you that David declares God's name to be Jah in Psalm 68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

This is written in the word of God/Jah. If you don't believe this then you are denying the written word of God/Jah.

Unlike others, I use scriptural fact and not the Greek religion of logic and philosophy for the presentation of truth. Biblical facts. We don't change the name of God/Jah nor the name of the Messiah, Jahshua to suit sound good in our own language. We love and honor his true name which is perfect.

Here is the issue with that theology...#1The law was written to show man's sinful condition. God knew when He gave those laws to Moses and the children of Isreal that they COULD NOT keep them...that is why we need a Saviour

#2 What death are we speaking of here? Because death is spoken of many times in the Book...However, the word death in God's word depending on where it is used means a couple of different things. deatheternal separation from God...deaththe physical parishing of the mortal body.

#3 Are you sinless? Do you abide by all of God's commandments? Because let's face it there are far more than just 10 commandments God gives in the Bible! And if you answer yes to either of these questions, I hate to tell you...you are falling short of the Glory of God...as all of mankind does BECAUSE we are sinners...

#4 DO NOT EVER TELL ME WHAT I CAN AND CANNOT DO! YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER...THAT IS GOD!

When I was much, much, younger; just hearing the words of Psalm 23 would make me feel uneasiness inside of me.

This was most likely because I heard those words spoken at a funeral and associated this Psalm with death, especially when I heard the words: "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death."

Later in my life, I began reading through the Bible and sought to learn more and more about what my God was telling me to do, seeking righteousness for salvation to be with him forever in Heaven.

But my understanding of his words which were written in the Bible was very difficult back then and even now there are mysteries written that are still to high for me to comprehend.

Today I understand so much more about Psalm 23 because I cried out to my God, Jah for Wisdom and Understanding to teach me. (Call Wisdom your sister and Understanding your kinswoman.)

Psalm 23 is not about death, it is all about life and the loving kindness of my God. How He cares, protects, provides, blesses, prospers and allows his children, who are basically as sheep to be in his family (His House) forever.

HalleluJah (Praise Jah), for his mercy endureth forever.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. 5For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
  • Fredscanlan - In Reply - 1 year ago
Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

14For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Ok. No Jesus not jahshua. Or Jah or whatever hebrew or Greek equivalent to Jesus and, God you choose to refer to. In the English language God is God. Jesus is the messiah, and so on and so forth. God knows who you are talking to just be respectful when referring to Him. Don't get caught up on obscure verses trying to make a doctrine of the name of God.

Secondly Jesus never made any new commandment . When Jesus said "if you love me keep my commandments" he was quoting Exodus 20:6

"And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments

This is referring to the ten commandments. All of them

Secondly the first four commandments are how you love God.

Just like the last six deal with how you love your NIEGHBOR.

He did not refer to every commandment he just referred to the ten commandments.

He was never saying just love your NIEGHBOR and not God.

Jesus is the one who wrote the ten commandments. It is a transcript of his character. Which is love. If you do not keep all ten of the commandments you do not love because they are a description of how you love.

    1 John 5:3

"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous."

The sabbath is Saturday. It was made holy by Jesus when he created everything. And it is still holy. No where in the entire Bible did he change or do away with the sabbath. Period!!!

    Exodus 20:11

"For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."

It's also found in genesis at the beginning before there was a jew.

It would be absurd to assume you may break the first four commandments but have to keep the last six. It's a package deal.

    James 2:10

"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

So it is the keeping of the entire ten commandments that is love for God and your nieghbor.

Hey Bro, remember all things work for our good to those who love the lord Rom 8:28, though it may seem hopeless, trust and hope in the Lord, to take care of your needs, remember death is not the end for us, but we have His live, eternally, he will sustain you through all your troubles, and give you the strength to go on in them, just persevere and dont lose hope. Let this be your joy, that you are given an opportunity to see the extent of your faith, knowing he is a father, who truly loves and cares for you, and only does what is good to us, the seemed good and the bad are all tools used for our Good.

    Dear Child of God,

"Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matt 11:28-29 Our Lord Jesus Christ uttered these words to all, those who are miserable, sorrowful and damaged by their sinful way of life, those want help with living with our affliction, lustful gratifications, sinful prideful desires, those who have no hope for what is to come, those with a concern for the truth, those who are humble in heart, those who want to believe and want to receive the good news, Jesus Christ will give you rest.

All your toil and labour as you will to yield to the Lord will not be in vain, for your reward is everlasting, eternal and never ending. As the Lord prepares a home for you, prepare your self for his return, let him upon his return find you, doing his will, the duty and responsibility entrusted to you, dont be such a servant that neglects his responsibility when the master is not there. But be ever doing that which is faithful and true to who He is. Strive like no man can, for you have not contended or fought to the point of death, have you?

Charity; Agape, Love; Christ fulfils all things, he is love, Gods love, which gives freely and willingly, since it never fails, look into that, stir up your self to start giving, knowing that your Father in heaven, will never let those who are his, lack of anything they need. Know that all that you have, is what God has given, based on his complete understanding and wisdom, of who you are and mankind as a whole, what he does is always good, always true, always faithful and right.

Believe and trust in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and all is well.

Remember we look not upon the things of this world but on heavenly spiritual things, do not let the senses, which cause you, to rely upon yourself , but instead lean, call and rely upon the word, which never fails, and is always true.

Listen to God and not self, because we have nothing to offer, Jesus Christ is the only way.

    God Bless

Jesse thanks for the reply. I think that approach of "I'm right and your wrong" belongs to people who are not allowing the Holy Spirit to lead them. We have to be completely opened minded to the truth to be lead to the truth. The Word of God is the truth, and Heb.4:12 tells us it is Alive! Jesse do you believe Jesus will come for His church before the tribulation starts? Every person that I know who believes in the pre-tribulation rapture say that Mt.Ch.24 is to the Jews. I don't know if you believe that Jesse, but I think maybe most people who do believe that, believe that first because they are taught that, then they let that be a big part of why they see Mt.24 as being to the Jews. The reason for that may be because of v.29-31, where Jesus says 'Immediately after the tribulation" the Son of man comes in the clouds to gather together his elect. So they say that cant be Jesus coming for the church because its after the tribulation. I believe the elect are the children of Israel. In Isa.45:4 For Jacob my servants sake, and ((Israel mine elect)), I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. The word Israel is #3478 in Hebrew, it means he will rule (as) God, a symbolic name of Jacob, also (typically) of his posterity) The word posterity means All future generations. So the 12 tribes, the children of Israel are Gods elect. The same children of Israel that are sealed in Rev.7:4-8, there are 12,000 sealed from each tribe. I agree with you about not wanting to argue Jesse, but we all need to find the truth in scripture and let scripture be our final authority. If you show me where I'm wrong using scripture, that's all I need to see. The Word of God is the truth, and the truth is what matters. Thank you again for your reply Jesse. I look forward to your response.

Thanks brother Jesse for your thorough explanation. I too, saw the 'Spirit' as Pneumatos, and the second mention of the Spirit, as Pneuma, which rather intrigued me. If the Greek is then consistent in the word's meaning, then the difference in wording must have been applied at the translation level. Given that this work was done in the 17th Century, there may have been certain applications of those words that meant something special to the translators or the Church, or for some special emphasis. I guess we might never know. Thanks for the trouble in reviewing this verse for us.

    Amen U4YAH:

You are correct; most if not all of the Psalms are prophecies of Christ; AND, all the words of Psalms are the words of the spirit of Christ; AND, Christ has the spirit of his Father ( 2 Samuel 23:1-2)( Isaiah 59:21).

Psalms 23:6 Surly goodness and mercy shall follow me (Christ) all the days of my life: and I (Christ) will dwell in the HOUSE of the LORD forever.

Hebrews 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own HOUSE; whose HOUSE ARE WE ....

Colossians 1:27 .... this mystery .....Christ in you .....

Keep sharing as the spirit reveals HIS TRUTH to you.

    God Bless You!

Wonderfully well said and accurately said.

After reading your comment my spirit is driven to ponder some other verses by Jahshua.... "all of The law is Love and forgiveness."

This all makes me realize that the commandments are basically redundant.

Example: If we love someone, even our enemies; then we would not kill them, we would not kill them, we would not steal from them, we would not commit adultery against them and Jah (Jah considers serving other gods as adultery against him), we wouldn't cheat, defraud, lie, or hurt anyone in any way if we loved them.

Love, mercy and forgiveness. Now after considering these things... I understand the truth of what Jahshua said when he gave two new commandments: to love Jah with all of our being and to love our neighbor as ourselves.... UPON THIS HINGES ALL OF THE LAW.

Obedience to love will save us. Jah is Love. If someone does what is opposite (anti) of what is the will of God (God's will is his Word/Jahshua/Messiah/Christ or AbtiChrist. And that would be sin/transgression.

SometThinking to ponder... Thinking back your post of the Messiah's instructions to the man inquiring about Salvation; Jahshua listed only six of the Ten Commandments. He left out the Sabbath worship, idol making and coveting our neighbor's things.

Why did he leave them out? Especially the keeping of the Sabbath!

Your child may play around, I cannot comment, but as a bright news, so did the new in Paul's letters how they would latter turn back to Him. And, for Your health, He that made the ear, shall He hear? He that made your ancestor Adam from Dust out of glory able to flow with blood and breath, He shall be able to work the kidneys anew. There is no more holdupr when the Lord put the ordinances against your sins and pain for You to walk cured when You call on Him.

In the name of Jesus, He set a commandment against the laws of naturality saying, I am the truth and the Life, He that believes in Me, though He were dead, yet shall He live. Now, Lazarus can parallel situations where it might seem too late when Our Lord came at His own timing, nevertheless He chose it to beat expectations doubly. Wait in the Lord as a child waits at the door, He will came forward carrying Your good, as He cares for you on His way.

No sin unto death is breaking God ten commandments when you know our should know that it is sin because that is tge only definition of sin.

    1 John 3:4

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

Now if you don't know something your doing is wrong then it is sin not leading to death.

It is still sin but not done in an intentional manner.

    James 4:17

"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."

Stop answering questions if you do not know for sure what you are talking about. You are helping to further ignorance
  • Watchman on the wall - In Reply - 1 year ago
Sin is not anything that is not good.

    The exact definition is:

    1 John 3:4

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

    That's the ten commandments.

    The law

You need to get pass your pre conceived notions and stick to the Bible
  • Watchman on the wall - In Reply - 1 year ago
No belief in christ does not and will never circumvent judgment if you willfully commit sin and assume that belief in christ will bypass judgment. Everyone on this earth will be judged according to their works, not according to their faith.

When you do not keep the ten commandments, and break them , it is sin.

When you sin willfully there nooo longer remains a sacrifice for sin but a certain fearful expectation of judgment.

    This is the truth.

Now if you confess and repent from sin in sencerity and turn from wickedness, or unrighteousness ( sin, transgression of the ten commandments) then you may be granted mercy. However do not ever assume that willful disobedience to the ten commandments can be just automatically come back from. Never assume anything

True the deceiver can devour more by altering the Word of Jah to promote another way and make void God's word with deception.

Jahshua has already considered this and brought John to Heaven to tell him how the World will be deceived.

John instructed us to try the spirits of words to see if they are from Jah. To go back to what is written from the beginning: To find out if those words are in accordance with what was written by the prophets of old and ancient.

He tells us that we have an unction from the Holy One above and he doesn't need to teach us because of this. Pray for Wisdom and Understanding in the name of Jahshua and and

    It shall be done.

Yes a transaction of a transaction of scripture can lose the original meaning and usher in deception, leading someone into error of this way of Jah, into another way.

David must have realized that because he asks Jah continually to teach him Jah's way. He then tells us the results of doing that... I have more understanding than the ancients... I more than all my teachers ( Psalm 119:99,100)

    Seek and ye shall find.

Proverbs... Put not your trust in men. Put thy trust in Jah.

The Messiah made Salvation simple to understand... Love Jah and everyone you come across. Upon this HINGES ALL OF THE LAW.

The Law of Jah is Love and Jah is Love.

The word of Jah was corrupted even in the days of Jahshua. Jahshua rebuked what was thought to be the word of Jah in the doctrine of "An Eye for an eye ". During this rebuke Jahshua denounces the repaying of violence with violence with the Love and forgiveness we should grasp ahold of for righteousness. Jah sent the great flood of Noah's days because of the violence of the earth and the mixing of the blood of mankind with the angels.(sons of God)

Of course all that I write is my opinion influenced by what I believe is the truth, but I will stand fast on trusting in Jah teaching me by our unction from the Holy One.

No the Bible does not teach anywhere that belief in christ is all that is required for salvation.

It repeatedly from beginning to end continues to teach faith together with obedience to God's ten commandments are a prerequisite to salvation. Everyone in the Bible is judged according to their works. Not according to their faith. Romans 3:31

"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." 1 John 2:4

"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

    King James

    Luke 18:18

"And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" Luke 18:19

"And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God."

    Luke 18:20

"Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother."

    King James

    Matthew

    5

    Matthew 5:17

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

    King James

    John

    15

    John 15:10

"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." John 14:15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

    King James

    Luke

    13

    Luke 13:24

"Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able."

    King James

    Romans 2:6

"Who will render to every man according to his deeds:"

    King JamesRevelation 22:12

"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

    King James

There is a ton of more verses that could be attached that continue to back up truth.

The main thing is you must read the Bible for yourself because ultimately you are responsible for your own salvation. Trusting what I say or what this person says is not the way to work out your own salvation.
