    Dear Charlene,

There is a new verse of the day appearing on the home page of this site. In 1 year you would have read 365 Bible verses. They include Psalms but are not only for Psalms.

    May God bless you,

Amen & thanx. Ya its the regulations & limited videos that is scary to him. making him think this I'm sure. Just another way for the government to scare us into doing what they want us to do. Thank God believers don't fall for this. Merry Christmas & God bless "Texsis"

Yes though if it freezes like he said it did last year (electric went out for 4 days) I'll have to sleep by fireplace in a covered box to keep warm & already have plenty of firewood. Thanks for prayers. fixen to go to bed so can get up for son to take me to store before he works. Prayerfully can still make Christmas dinner. If not it will be made soon after. God bless & be with everyone...peace out.

Yes, this world is super evil & only getting worse. Learn on Gods word more & in prayer daily in everything you say & do. Giving Him the glory! Satan rules the world yet doesn't have to run your life. Let Jesus do that by keeping Him in your heart with the promise of eternity in heaven.
  • Texsis - In Reply - 2 years ago
Heavenly Father we thank you for your son Jesus & for your Love, Forgiveness & Grace. Lord we ask that you be with Hale0607 & heal their heart in your time & allow them to overcome their anger & short temper. Give them the strength to search for the truth & let their slow reaction in life show, giving you all the glory.!
  • Texsis - In Reply - 2 years ago
Prayers for our enemies and know they will get what's coming to them. They may think they have it all on earth now, for a short time, yet if you keep your wits about you & Jesus in your heart you will get your reward in heaven for eternity.

I shall pray yet, If you don't come up with deposit or get your breakthrough its obviously not Gods will for you. Search scripture and stay in prayer for His will for you. Anything else is a waist of time.

Hello Javier. That's a good question. It is my understanding that Jesus became Jesus (i.e. given this Name) at His Birth ( Matthew 1:21). I don't believe Jesus was known as Jesus prior to His incarnation, rather, the Bible (in the NT), speaks of Him as God's Word ( John 1:1-14). As you know, God is One ( Deuteronomy 6:4); God cannot be divided up into many gods. Yet God can do something that we humans can't: He can send out His Word & He can send out His Spirit. So we don't get three gods, but the One Holy God manifesting Himself in other forms (for our sake). We can't do this; I can speak or write my thoughts for another to heed, but in the end, they are only words. And I certainly can't send out my spirit to do a work on my behalf - even if I could, I would then be spirit-less, therefore, dead. But God is wholly a Spirit-Being ( John 4:24) & can do any work & be anywhere as He Wills - something you & I cannot do as our spirits are confined to bodies of flesh.

So, at the appointed time ( Romans 5:6), God sent out His Word for His people (Israel), just as He did by the mouths of the prophets in the Old Testament days. But this time, God clothed His Word with flesh, so that Israel might not only hear from God directly to them, but also witness that this One from Heaven has come to be the supreme Sacrifice for them. Their other sacrifices were only temporary until the coming of God's Sacrifice: Himself (His Word made flesh).

Then to your question: for Jesus (the Word out of God's Being) to live as a man, suffer & die as a man, he would have had to lay aside those attributes of Divinity that could never permit Him an experience of pain & death. Philippians 2:5-8 gives a perfect explanation of how Jesus had to humble Himself, not hold onto His equality with God before men , instead became their servant. Jesus now is God's Son, & as a man with human feelings, would rightly call out, in prayer, to His Father in Heaven; & He will always be God's Son seated beside His Father.

What? Really? Why? My son has that book & can tell you that there is NOTHING in it worth reading. All we need is to Love God with all our hearts, our neighbor as yourself & live accordingly. You change your mind to except Him & He will change your heart. It was never included in the bible because it is incomplete, evil & leads to thing we do not need to get to heaven, much less waste our time with. Gods word is complete!

    Michael,

Revelation 4:1 is the verse that's used by those who believe that the believers will be raptured prior to the Tribulation Period, because number 1, the door had been opened, and number two, a trumpet was talking to him (John).

It's the same as Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 4:13, I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, as others which have no hope.

He had just said in this chapter that the trump of God would sound. It would be a great shout, and the trump of God would sound. And so here is the trumpet talking to John saying come up here.

And those who hold the Pre-Trib. position see that as equivalent to the rapture of the church that is happening.

And from here on, John will see everything from heaven, and the church will no longer be on the earth, but the multitudes will be in heaven.

And many believe that's an indication, among other scriptures, especially 1 Thessalonians Chapter 5 where it gives us the Tribulation Period, and he says this is for the wrath of God, and we (believers) have not been chosen for the wrath of God.

Anonymous, Don't give up on God's Love, Forgiveness & Grace! Bible says satan rules the world. So if Jesus is truly in your heart there's no room for doubts, fears & pains & its your heart that's not right. 1st, Either your still in sin, doubt or haven't forgiven everyone &/or merely not strong enough in His word to be were He needs you to be to do the will He has for you just yet! We must be strong & endure till the end to spend eternity in heaven. Our trials give us wisdom & strength so we can prosper. Even if that means we have nothing but JESUS. So, He is all we need. If we let satan weaken us that's on us, NOT God. The ONLY unforgivable sin is denying Christ! Satan controls all evil & wicked not God! We continue to pray BECAUSE satan doesn't care & yet we can not just sit there and allow others to abuse us. I bet you if you think about it long enough you'll think of a few times you made the choice to do this or that even though you felt pulled to do the opposite. That's on you not God. 85o/o of the world has gone thru abuse, including myself since I was 2. Yet we eventually let go and move on or satan will control us so stop blaming God. The fact that you asked for prayer proves you still have hope inside & want to do the right thing does it not?(BTW: that's God tuggin your heart). Its not Him you hate its the pain your going through & the evil satan has created making you to weak to fight & wants you to stop believing. STOP, don't let satan win, search your heart & listen! *HIS will is HIS choice, NO.. Its HIS will YOUR choice!* 2nd, we are to Pray for abusers & enemies! Either find a church home or online & read His word daily. search the truth not the worlds lies. KJV preferably. stay on this app and I shall help. Soon you will see that its us that gives up on Him that leads to hell. Been there, done that. He will NEVER forsake us. Finally, repent! He will change your heart in His time. Eternity/heaven is so close...BREATH.! I'm on UTube under Texsis too!

    Aldenapoli,

Jesus' ministry was and is to baptize people with His Spirit. That is the baptism that is needed.
  • Aldenapoli - 2 years ago
Must we be baptized? Can we enter into the kingdom on just faith alone?

There are also mentions of the Rapture in Revelation other than chapter 4 such as: The man child caught up in Revelation 12 (it's us, the body of Christ). The harvest in Revelation 14.

Randy, So sorry that you lost your daughter recently. I will pray for you and your granddaughter today.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you with grief in our hearts over the loss of Randy's daughter. Father, flood the hearts of Randy and his granddaughter with Your comfort, grace, and mercy. Be so close to them in this time and lift up their heavy hearts. Help this young granddaughter cope with the loss of her precious mom. Protect her from any adverse effects from this event that is so traumatizing. Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to bring Randy and his granddaughter peace and fill them up with Your love tonight. Amen.

Dear Texsis, Good to hear from you. Will you be staying with your son during this very cold weather? Mid-west is so-so cold. Some where it is expected to be -60 with wind chill factor. I have been in -20 degree weather during college days. That was really cold. had to bundle up to get to classes and then shed so much bundle once in the buildings.

We should all be praying for safety for everyone who may be adversely affected by this coldness. Also, in Europe there are many places where people do not have any heat and it is very frigid there.

May God be merciful and provide for those who need help staying warm.

Yes, and Merry Christmas. Celebrating the incarnation of our Lord, God with us, is always in season!

Rom 11:13 Acts 13:46-47 (Paul also mentions that it was neccessary to go to the Jew also.) 1 Cor 1:2.

    2 Tim 1:9-11

To ignore these verses is just blatantly rejecting God and HIS way.

    Revelation 21:24, Psalms 85,

    Hopefully these are helpful

Gigi, I get where you're coming from. This isn't a matter of your philosophy, or Ryan's philosophy. It's a matter of what scripture says.

Also, The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to write "my gospel" on a few occasions. Rom 2:16 Rom 16:25.

It's a distinct message given by Jesus Christ. To say that "focusing on Paul" is turning away from scripture is simply not true. Paul talked about Christ more then any other writer. Paul kept his sights on the Lord as he instructs us to do; not according to the Lord's earthly ministry, but according to the revelation of the mystery which IS the will of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Col 2:2.

Our gospel is 1 Cor 15:1-4. It's not in Matthew - John. You find the other gospel in the Gospels. ( Gal 2:7). The only one disputing is you. I am defending the truth because I am not ashamed of it.

You cannot sit here and tell me the scriptures make sense without dispensationalism (which is in the Bible Eph 1:10 Eph 3:2).

And like I told the one brother, I mentioned 2 Tim 3:16. But what comes before chapter 3? Chapter 2. Specifically 2 Tim 2:15.

Guess what? If someone is erred in the scripture and I know the truth, I'm going to speak up. I've been silent for too long.

Hello Donna, you , too, have been faithful to pray for request on here. We make a good team.

My feet are improving from last week. I have been trying to rest more. I think I overdid it a week ago Monday when I did laundry at the laundromat for my sister-in law. They had a house fire a month ago and I filled up the back of my truck with bedding, linens, and clothing that is salvageable. Did 9 giant loads at the laundromat. Took 5 hours to complete with washing, drying, folding, and dividing into sealable bins. So, being on my feet for those 5 hours must have made them flair up along with my shoulders and hip. So, things are calming down now. Thankful for that. Go to the podiatrist Jan 2nd for a recheck. Then we go from there with a plan.

How is Daniel doing? I continue to pray for him.

Donna, you are such a blessing and I am so glad to be on this forum and met you. I have a handful of people I see here in my neck of the woods, but I don't spend time in crowded situation, especially at this time of year with all the respiratory viruses being raging. These are what make me very sick and kick up my asthma symptoms big time. So, praying that I continue to avoid coming down with any that are stewing and being passed around. I am getting used to not being as social as I once was, but I need to stay as healthy as I can.

My hubby and I will celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary tomorrow. We still have a few dozen years left, God willing. I want to be as healthy as I can as we grow old together.

    Ryan,

Paul never said that his writings are strictly for the Gentiles and the rest of Scripture is for the Jews. Your viewpoint adds to Scripture doctrines that are not there. I cannot concur with you on this. JESUS is our Apostle.
