Dear Roman, I never asked for a sign. I did not say that I know a great deal about eschatology. I am learning. Please, I do not need someone like you warning me to get my house in order. If you knew me well, you would speak to me in a different way. have always been a seeker of truth in God's Word, even since childhood. I trust that God is indeed leading me in His truth every step of the way. I am confident in Him that He will bring me to the place He promised to prepare for those who love Him and believe in what He did to save us. We do not need to have a full understanding of eschatology in order to be saved. But it is always good to ask the Lord to give understanding concerning what is in His Word.

v18 If God gave you a truth that could save someones life and you didn't share , his blood will be on your hands . read on , God could allow you to turn from righteousness and put stumbling blocks before you . so it shouldn't matter if the seed didn't take . the seed was planted , it's up to God to germinate and make grow . what matters is you delivered yourself . you are that watchman

Adam, I agree that God can and may have created life elsewhere in this vast universe. He can do whatever He wishes and has done so. I think we may be quite surprised at the diversity of living beings we will encounter in heaven or who may populate hell along with unsaved humans.

Yes, Donna, waiting is hard, but we are called to persist in prayer and faith.

God is perfecting us through this waiting and perseverance. And He certainly will answer our prayers in the best way. May your prayers be answered even as soon as today! As I hope that mine will soon be answered, too.

Thanks May, I look forward to hearing from you later. I pray that work goes well for you today.

Roman, I agree that we are to preach the law to the unrepentant. They need to know that they have transgressed it and deserve the curse of the law. They need to know that Jesus warned people that unless they believe in Him they will perish eternally in hell. But also, we are to preach in love, with a plea for them to turn from unbelief to faith in Jesus, who alone can save them. some will be pricked to the heart and repent. Others will angrily and hostilely retaliate or mock or scoff at the preaching. We should expect that. And if it is considered hate speech, then so be it. The apostles and disciples who preached to the unsaved faced all kind of persecution and torture. We should brace ourselves to receive similar reprisal. But, as Paul was willing to receive these hellish treatments in the hope that some would believe the Gospel he pleadingly and lovingly preached.

I don't get out much anymore since covid. But I have family members and others I know who still will not repent. I pray for them and willingly speak the truth to them when the opportunity comes forward. I have finally been approved for disability after a two-year process. So, I am limited but hope I can get out more in the future as the Holy Spirit leads me and allows.

I do want to practice what I advise others to do. Believe me. I do think the time is coming where believers will be called to speak up at a high cost. May the Lord prepare us to do so and be willing to bear the cost honorably.
  • Dgjot - In Reply on Ezekiel 3 - 2 years ago
The average unrepentant sinner isn't interested in the love of Jesus. In their mind, Jesus is some sort of bearded, sandal wearing hippie who goes around preaching love, love, love, who will make sure they get into Heaven no matter what they do. So I switched gears and now talk about hell and damnation. I warn people that if they don't repent and seek God while He may be found, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, they're doomed. Those are the cold hard facts. This is now considered Hate Speech. When I got saved, it wasn't because of the love of Jesus. It was because I was afraid of going to hell. It was years before I understood how much God loves us and how much Jesus loves us. He proved it by going to the cross voluntarily. Then God raised Him from the dead, He ascended into Heaven in front of witnesses and sent His Holy Spirit to the earth to dwell among us. God and Jesus have done everything they can do to keep us from ending up in hell. But people don't listen.

When Jesus walked the earth, WHO was He preaching to??? The Jews. Everything He talked about was directed to the Jews.

How many times did God punish the Jews for their wickedness? How many times were they taken into captivity???

Jesus kept trying to steer them back to The Father, but many would rather live by their own man-made laws. The scribes and pharisees were so sure they were in the right, they made sure that Jesus was taken out.

Jesus taught as one having authority, not like the arrogant, attention-grabbing Scribes and Pharisees. He sent his Apostles to preach the Gospel, giving them authority to heal the sick and cast out demons in His name. Many believed but, even after seeing the miracles, just as many didn't. It's useless to preach to people who don't want to hear it. Remember what Jesus said, "When I return, will I find faith on the earth???"

    Revival

we need to pull the best verses out of our bible to bring forth a message of love, hope, and all the rest

    .

    help me put this together.

what do you hate in this world? let me help. cost of gas when we know that even pres trump stocked millions of barrels of oil away when the price of oil dropped. we could probably drop gas 2.00 a gallon. we need research, we need a president to open their ears to this message

what if we run out ye say, solar power ?

food prices doubled since 2020 ! covid did not cause this wake up -god allowed it to happen

all prices except your salary ?????

    rent

    mortgages

    furniture

    clothing

what makes prices go up greed, for lack of a better word

we need a letter - to this nation under god

    billy graham did it !!!!

and it needs to be written with bible verses that this generation of ours is familiar with

such as i am 65 years old i was raised in the catholic church and never heard the word of god i studied the king james version as our god spoke loud and clear - to me and yes, his voice is sometimes quiet yet oh so loud!

i am trying to write this quietly

it does not explicitly matter which version, but the more the leaders of this nation are familiar with the verses, the louder his spirit will speak to them

billy graham did and yea, a few others martin luther said a few words

martin luther king jr oh yeah, i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up

what the world needs now is love, sweet love, that's the only thing that there is just too little of

come on people now smile on your brother try to love one another right now

include that speech as it applies in every way to bible verses

this is not to be a sermon

this is a letter of hope that all things are possible thru him - do not say any name other than god do not say yeshua or jesus or any name of any--- god. let the believers tell them

Holy God and Father, may your name be blessed forever and ever. I pray that my earthly father be fully restored in his health, for what is impossible with man is possible through your most sovereign will. Most importantly, I pray that my father be given a new heart of saving faith so that a healthy heart of flesh may be added to him. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I prayed for your son-in-law and your family just now. I hope the best for Adam, and I pray that he gets a new and good job. I would encourage you to read the book of Job, it talks about a Godly man that is rich. Satan changeless God to take away all his riches, his lives talk, his servants, even his children. Satan's point is that if God were to take away all of Job's life really, then he would stop worshipping God and start cursing Him. God agrees only to prove Satan wrong. You'll have to read the book to see what happens.

May the LORD bless you and keep you and may His light shine upon you and your son-in-law.

Anne needs prayers. When Anne was 6 months old, her father died and her family moved from Japan to the Philippines. As an adult, Anne feels a great deal of unforgiveness toward her biological mother. Anne lives alone with her grandma, whom she cares for. Her grandma is in need of brain surgery ($50,000) due to brain cancer. Anne works to support the household and is unable to afford surgery. Although she accepts the fate of her grandmother, the only person she loves, she hopes God can heal her.

I have some prayers I've been praying about for a long time. What seems like forever! But I continue to wait on the Lord. It's hard to wait, but I must trust Him. The scripture in Daniel encourages me and assures me that God already heard my prayers and the answers are on their way.

I thank God the He is answering your prayers for your loved ones!
  • Donna Grace - In Reply - 2 years ago
Praying for you. I have learned to be patient where people and change are involved. I've also learned that the Lord is faithful. I am encouraged today. That God is answering those really tough prayers, even when I can't see it. There's a work taking place inside of them, and that can be instantaneous and dramatic (like Saul on the road to Damascus) or it can be a daily work that changes them over time.

Also, our prayers can be hindered (only hindered) by the enemy's camp.

    Daniel 10:11-13

    Love, in Christ.

Brandi, It would probably be good to speak with your pastor about tithing if you need more info on it. Or do a google search and use the phrase "why we tithe".

    God bless.
  • Donna Grace - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Brandi,

I'm praying over your situation this morning.

I do want to ask you a question. Have you been faithful with your tithing (finances) to the Lord? Please don't feel like you have to answer that here. It's just the first thing that came to my mind.

If you need more information about tithing, go up to the search box on this page, type in "tithe".

I pray this helps. May God bless you today.

    Read Malachi 3:10

17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let the one who hears say, "Come!" Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon."

    Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.

Amen to you . I have learned that i cannot change anyone but I can always help to the best of my ability and this is what is expected of me as a Christian . Im not responsible for the sins of others but I am responsible for my own and to me , it is a sin to knowingly and deliberately disobey Christ's commandment to show love to every human I come on contact with . If anyone thanks me for a kindness I always say something like : I'm a Christian it's what we do , or , thank God because He made me show you His love for you . All non Christians and sinners we come into contact with are part of God's creation and He loves everyone . They are potential Christians and we must treat them as such . We were all in this life without hope at one point , until we learned the Truth . It's not up to us to judge people , we don't know their hearts , God knows the begining and ending of every individual , He knows who is and isn't His but He knows who isn't His now but will be in the future . We know nothing . If we obey God , that's the best thing we can do in every circumstance , it's our basic duty as Christians .
