1. In my life I have met people that are such good actors in their everyday life that one would bet their life on them. Can that person who saw aliens prove what he said or is it just words? Also often people say that have seen ghosts, do you believe them?
2. Genesis 2:1-2 "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them).
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made."
So God finished creating the heavens and earth and rested on the 7th day. So nothing more was created from there on at least. Even if we assume that God did actually create other people after us on other planets then those people should be "younger" than us, so how come they have already created such a supercivilization that made spaceships that travel millions and millions of light years and finally found earth when at the same time we here on earth have not travelled further away than the moon (man boarded missions)? Not logical is it? Maybe God made other people before us, before creating earth? Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning (of creation) God created the heaven and the earth." So earth was the first thing to be created together with the heavens. Genesis doesn't place anything in between heaven and earth, nothing was created before earth. So nothing was created before earth and after earth was created (together with people) God stopped and rested.
3. You ask "did Jesus go there and die for them too?". So if there are say 1000 (or million) different earths in the universe then Jesus was sacrificed 1000 different times? Not a very good idea to be a God then, is it? It would be very painful (just trying to be funny). I don't think that even God could take that
4. Maybe another Jesus, you ask. There is only one Father, one Jesus and one Spirit, there aren't many.
Well dear brother we will hear a lot of weird things these last days. Don't believe them. My opinion.
Have a blessed day.
May the LORD bless you and keep you all!
In Revelation 3:5, John gives an exhortation to the church. He says, "He that overcomes, and that's a Present Participle.
To the one who (is) overcoming, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will (not) blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
We are given references to the Old Testament that tell us there's more than one book. ( Exodus 32:32-33, Daniel 12:1-2, 7-10, Psalm 69:28)
There's the book of life which has listed in it everybody that has received human life. And then there's the book of the Lamb, those who belong to Christ.
In the book of life, if a person rejects Christ, their name is removed from the book of life as if they've never been born. They're gone!
But no one is ever blotted out of the Lamb's book of life.
If you go back into the Old Testament and you study from those references, it will show you that there's more than one book. And the Jews knew that.
It's not that God has books up there. But it's just a human example or an illustration that God knows everything, all the people that have been born, and all the people that belong to Christ.
He say (I will not) blot out his name out of the book of life. And I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Jesus said that He would do that.
So, our names are entered into the Lamb"s book of life the moment we receive Christ. He will never blot out a believers name from that book. That's how permanent our salvation is. He will never blot our names out of His book!
Hopefully you will not have problems with posting on this site. It seems that admin is working on getting the glitches fixed.
If you notice my post, I put the word rapture in parentheses because I realize that it is a word commonly used for what will happen to believers when Jesus returns for us. But, my comments speak to what happens on the very last day when Jesus returns. There will be some who are alive at that event, and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 explains what will happen to both those who have died and those still alive at His final coming. Everyone, both believers and unbelievers will be judged at that time, as far as I have gathered from reading.
As far as Hebrews 9:27, this passage is not speaking to the time of Christ's return as far as I can tell.
As for where all believers of all time will reside after Jesus comes and we are all changed, I have no doubt that God has prepared a place for us, as Jesus stated. As to where this place is, I do not think that Scripture clearly specifies. But Jesus did say that He was going to prepare a place for us. And the place He went to was heaven.
I am glad that you are being helped by what people post on this site. It helps me a lot, too.
Revelations is quite a book. May you be encouraged by your study of it.
FYI, you described resurrection, not rapture. And you conflated the 1st resurrection with elements of the 2nd resurrection. It is amazing how many people will accept falsities as Biblical fact, and give praise where praise is not due.
:-)
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. AMEN!
I want to pray to be a wealthy, healthy, abundant, smart, compassionate inventor for the regular common day people. I want all my dreams to come true along with my positive manifestations as a creator here on earth. I want my enemies to be my footstool. I pray for protection through the blood of Jesus Christ. I really want to achieve the highest level in life and I realize that I cannot do it on my own. I sincerely want to start a family but even at my age 41 I have to say I still feel like I have a ways to go. I believe that is because I am a perfectionist or ocd so I will be trying to work on things until I die and there will always be something I can be or do better so the finish line is sometimes a mirage if that makes sense? I have always wanted to have a family but didn't have a father coming up. So I didn't want to have a kid and not take care of him or her, I've seen this happen for decades and the amount of negativity involved with the relationship or lack there of really plays it's part in society in a bad way. I want to make a difference in my kids life and I believe I have found the right woman to do that with -Andi. She reminds me of my mom, would fit in the family good , I am genuinely interested in Andi and there is no lust. I pray for a strong, deep, beautiful, everlasting, inner miracle relationship with Andi and I so we can have a cherish and obey marriage we are both old fashioned. I would treat her right as a person and woman, I would love to get close to her so I could help her out - teach her things, bring things out of both of us.
Where are the 25 billion believers that ever lived going to fit on earth? What about God's other people who are true lovers of God, will they not suffer a mortal death, too? Wouldn't you need a new earth and new heaven to accommodate such a large number of people? Also, if Christians are raptured, that puts the doctrine in direct conflict with Hebrews 9:27.
Ezekiel 21:1-4 describes Israels visitation; both good and bad people are taken (killed). No rapture.
Luke 17:34-37 The disciples ask Jesus where the "taken" people go? Jesus says the bodies will be where vultures circle. They are not raptured, they are dead.
The rapture isn't Biblical doctrine, you adopted it along the way. It's popular when there's a shortage of sound solutions, and chances are you wouldn't have settled on that doctrine on your own. The "rapture" was made popular by a 15 year old girl, Margaret McDonald. Study the topic before answering, I can wait a few days. I really want you to focus in on the subject, take notes. We're going to use scripture and logic to iron this out.
Thank you.
