When paul said, "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; ( Eph. 4: 11-12). Was he stating that pastors and teachers are one (Pastor-teacher; Shepherd-teacher)? If so how could it be the fivefold ministry? I believe they have different functions but isn't teaching the responsibility of an apostle and evangelist? Or is it solely the responsibility of the Pastor? Please clarify or explain this. I am confused.

I am so sorry for your loss. I recently experienced losing my mom, too. Whether she is in heaven is in the hands of our merciful God. If you know that she was a believer, she is with God. If you don't know if she was a believer, then, since we do not know the work of the Holy spirit in someone else's heart, we leave the determination of destination to God, trusting that He will always judge rightly in love and truth. I will pray for you.

Dear Lord Jesus, be with Kim as she grieves the death of her mom. Comfort her and bring peace to her heart concerning what happened to her mom after death. Help Kim to treasure the good memories of her mom. Thank You for being near to the brokenhearted and always with us in every situation.

Dear Christina, James 4:7 says, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." How do you resist the devil? Like Jesus did when he was tempted in the wilderness. He did not argue, He quoted the scripture, and the devil fled each temptation.

The Word of God is our armor against Satan, our bullets, I like to call it.

Shoot as many as you need at him when he tempts you with unnatural relations. I give you Romans 1:26,27, 1 Corinthians 6:9, and Jude 1:7. Prayers going up.

i have a very strong question so if I'm bysexual can I go back to being straight or is that not possible I told my friends in school that I'm not bysexual anymore more and they say that I cant just switch from being bysexual for only 2 years to being straight again.

and I presume most Christians in this age are born to be Christian. I mean, there's no reason for a person with only scientific education to believe that he is sinful and serve God in all his life. Am I right?
