Alex1939...In Matthew 24:3-8...When they asked Jesus what shall be the sign of thy coming and the end of the world He replied Sorrows (Birth pains)...The Woman in Rev. 12. is in Birth pains....Which is a spiritual pregnancy...And the Woman is the best example of Faith...The very Kingdom of God comes for this Woman...Which is humanity...Rev.12:10....Now is come Salvation and the Kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ (the child) is the H.G....The Kingdom is the manchild the H.G. That is gona rule all nations with his rod of iron..the words of the book that has been opened...The new covenant...An intimacy a knowledge....He wants to know everybody...Its gonna cover the earth as the waters cover the seas.

And remember Bro. Paul speaks of the whole Creation in Travail n birth pains...becoming incorruptible simply we are all gonna be bornagain of an incorruptible seed.... Romans 8:21...ok gtg..Gbu...And this Woman keeps the commandments..b/c her child cannot sin....That new born babe desiring the sincere milk of the word is the H.G. that Paul speaks of is the Child of PROMISE..Our new innerman the H.G...The very gift of God.

    Alex,

I'm going to shift your post a little and see if this interests you. Speaking of Revelation 12, specifically Revelation 12:6 & Revelation 12:14: The woman represents the 144,000 sealed saints ( Revelation 7:4), BOTH are protected for a thousand two hundred and threescore days. Only the saints are officially sealed. It is a continued allegory describing the saints vs the man of sin, end-times, etc.

The saints are so unbelievably important, yet underrated. They are the first fruits, set apart from the 5.5 billion day of the Lord survivors. The saints are the ONLY first resurrection participants, tasked with healing people, the earth and administering to Christ. The rest sleep till called at the second resurrection.

The saints are featured in 7 Chapters of Revelation, hidden in allegory, and referred to. People then add characters to the narrative and always miss that the sealed saints in Revelation 7:4, before the sixth trumpet, are the same saints in heaven at the seventh trumpet, Revelation 7:9-14. "They came out of the great tribulation". AND this occurs at the exact same time God calls up the two witnesses, Revelation 11:12. The saints and the two witnesses are one and the same!!! You will not see the saints without the witnesses from BOTH houses of Israel (Israel & Judah). Don't get the "two men" allegory wrong. Forget about Moses and Elijah or Enoch, that is a tired excuse for filling in the answer with anything that will suffice. After Solomon, Israel was split in two nations, hence, two men. The two candlesticks and two olive trees that stand before God are God's pride and joy, the whole house of Israel.

Dear Lord, please intervene in our family situation. We are all such a mess. Thank you for the hope you are Lord Jesus. I ask for strong protection, deliverance, healing and salvation (for those not saved) and for your name to be glorified in our midst. Please guide us and empower us with your Holy Spirit. Please do the same for all others in need as well. All praise, honor and glory is yours. I pray in your matchless name Lord Jesus. Amen.

    Giannis,

Prophesy is unfolding rapidly, it never stopped and can be identified. Acquaint yourself with the prophets, what Jesus says in Matthew 24 and Luke 17. The prophets were shown our future, and this coming sixth trumpet, day of the Lord, scared them deeply, Ezekiel 21:7, Isaiah 13:8-9.

Christian's aren't scared because they weren't taught the proper tenants of the Bible, they think God will unconditionally protect them, no matter how badly their elected leaders behave. Will America will always sit a queen? Isaiah 47:7-11

The Bible is limited in its 1-4 trumpet descriptions. It is the last 3 end-time trumpets, 5, 6 & 7, that matter for this "last generation" (according to the signs). Half of Revelation 9 is dedicated to the fifth trumpet, the other half to the sixth trumpet. The sixth trumpet army smashes the fifth trumpet army to dust!!! Esau smashes Jacob, Obadiah 1. The king of the north smashes the king of the south, Daniel 11:40. The sixth trumpet is about one third of end-time prophesy; there's much written about it, enough for you to see prophesy unfolding in our time. Not many see what they read, let alone admit God is against backsliding America, Ezekiel 21:12.

Here's a big prophesy come to light in our time, but I don't expect it to fit in someone else's narrative:

Revelation 9:1-11 was 9-11-01, America is the fifth trumpet army, running a 20 year war on terror.

Revelation 9:4 America killed those men who did not have the seal of God in their foreheads (Muslims), and were told not to harm any green tree, and nothing green grows in the desert.

Revelation 9:6 The Muslims who were tortured at Abu Ghraib prison were seeking death, and couldn't find it.

Today's verse of the day is one that is very meaningful to me. As believers we are crucified with Christ.

I have been thinking these past few days about what Jesus meant when He told the disciples to take up their cross and follow Him ( Matt 10:38). It is very clear that none of us are have a cross like Jesus'. The "cross" He had was one of suffering and death for the sins of the world. In Gethsemane when forseeing the cross lived out, He was sorrowful unto death. His cross was always to do the will of the Father, and the Father's will was for Jesus to sacrifice His life as a sin offering to expiate our sins and propitiate the wrath of God on sin. This is not a cross we have. So, I was thinking, what is our cross then?

My thoughts are that, like Jesus, our cross is to do the will of the Father in our lives, even unto death. This does not mean that we seek martyrdom, but that persecution and martyrdom may be ahead for some of us. Also, the cross is symbol of death, so today's verse seems to fit in with what Jesus said. As, Paul spoke, it is a dying to self and self-will and living for God and His will.

Then I consider this in light of what Jesus had said about casting all of our burdens upon Him because His yoke is easy and HIs burden is light. Matt 11:29830. So He calls us to take up His yoke upon us and learn from Him. He says that He will give rest to our souls. So I am wondering how this factors into His words about taking up cross and following Him.

I would appreciate reading what others think about this as it has been on my mind this past week and, now, today, the verse speaks of being crucified with Christ.

Hello, I can offer an answer to your second question. God is a fair judge. It sounds like you, the creation, are questioning the morality of the Creator- that is dangerous ground. A more accurately phrased question is if someone who defiantly and blatantly denies God should be allowed to spend eternity with Him?

Anti-God deniers want their cake and to eat it too. Wanting all the benefits of a Christ follower, with grace, heaven, but don't want to follow God or believe in Him, want to ignore God's word, and still desire to follow satan and hurt others while on earth. That's totally evil and a ridiculous expectation.

A false premise in the question is "good man." No one is good except God. Someone who rejects the truth and denies God is hardly "good." All are sinners. Romans 3:23.

Nichole, I'm praying for these young women, that the Holy Spirit would lead them in a different direction. And that they would desire Jesus and salvation instead. That they would taste of the Lord and see that He IS good!

There is so much deception in the world we need to lift up ALL of the young people everywhere. Red and yellow black and white they are PRECIOUS in God's sight.

Our Lord is merciful...The hip surgery for my mom took only 15 minutes. Today, she is alert and eating, etc. Thank you all who prayed for her yesterday. If you don't mind, she still needs prayer for emptying her bladder that she hasn't done on her own yet. Otherwise, all is good. Enjoy your day. God bless you all.

Alex N...I just wanted to explain myself about Faith being a spiritual pregnancy....27 times in the O.T. the prophets saw the world in travail and birth pains...Thus there has to be a spiritual pregnancy to obtain salvation the New Birth ...Thats y he wants to sow his precious seed in our hearts...As Faith comes by hearing his words his seeds etc initiating a birth of Christ in us...Which is the H.G. the Children of Promise....An Israel of God ..That was the great Promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven..Thats y he has to know us..Thats when the good seed is sown in our hearts initiaing a spirutal pregnancy.

....Thats y we must be bornagain. We must birth a baby Christ the Child of Promise the H.G...Thats y Jesus is saying Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child...( a Heavenly Birth,..a spirutal baby,..an infant...That New Born Babe Paul was talking about ) you will in no wise enter there in...But all this requires a spiritual pregnancy from his good seed the Words of the new Covenant...Thats y scrip. is saying in Christ Jesus nothing availeth anything but a New Creature which is our new born the H.G. The Child of Promise the H.G....Not Circumcision nor uncircumcision only that new creature the H.G. Which answers to our new heart and new spirit..In John 16 :20 he said b/c i have spoken these words ( his seeds ) sorrows (a pregnancy) has filled your hearts....A woman when she is in travail has sorrows but after the Child comes ( the H.G. ) her sorrows are turned into joy...The H.G. is the Kingdom...In Rev. 12 :10 The Kingdom comes after the Woman births the Child...But she had to go thru a spiritual pregnancy 1 st...ok lemme go...The Woman is humanity...The Prophets saw the whole world in travail and birth pains...If i be lifted up i will draw ALL men unto me....Jesus our lord said that....

Dear God, Father in heaven, You who created everything that is on earth too. We pray if You can turn Your eyes to "Jonathan Grove" now dear Father. See his need for and have a spouse. He will forever be grateful to You Lord. She must be a good example and have a peaceful and forgiving spirit. Have children and fulfill Your word. To be one who supports his wife in everything. Support her when the days are evil. And never leave her side. Always stand together in everyday life. And he will thank You urgently and guide the children the two come to and get to the Christian faith and good teaching. And they shall all love You Lord God forever in the holy name of Jesus Christ. Thanks for the ansver of prayer in advance Lord. Amen.

Hi Giannis. My submission to your request on the phonetic pronunciation of Diotrephes is, dee-ot-ref-ace. This is from Strong's Greek.
  • S Spencer - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Hi Giannis.

If one wanted to look up or do a word study in Greek, would you recommend King James study bible/strongs translation?

My reason for asking is you said J Vernon Mcgee translation of the word substance you didn't agree with but it's what I find when I look the verse up and the translation of what is being used. However, the conclusion and understanding parallel.

I know there is different forms of Greek but what form of Greek is the King James drawn from?

    Greek:

    Transliteration: hupostasis

    Pronunciation: hoop-os'-tas-is

Definition: From a compound of G5259 and G2476; a setting under (support) that is (figuratively) concretely essence or abstractly assurance (objectively or subjectively): - confidence confident person substance.

Thanks in advance and God bless.

Dear Arlene. I will pray for your son tonight.

Dear Heavenly Father, Arlene is seeking You for her son's healing and recovery. We ask You, Father, in the name of Jesus, to bring deliverance from alcoholism to Arlene's son. Bring him to seek rehab and desire to put an end to drinking for good. Empower him to say "no" in every circumstance where he is tempted to drink. Also, we ask that You take care of Parkinson's in him. He has an awful lot to deal with and we trust You to show him compassion and mercy. Amen.

Please pray for me. I struggle a lot with being single and I truly desire to be married. I worry a lot that I will never get married and I really need Jesus Christ's mercy and help with finding the right Christian lady to marry. I really do desire a joyful marriage that is blessed by God, Proverbs 18:22. Please pray that Jesus Christ in His mercy and grace will help me find and marry a wife who is beautiful to me, the helpmeet ( Genesis 2) who is right and best for me. Please pray that Jesus Christ will help me be a good husband. Thank you. May God bless you and keep you.
