My mom is expected to have hip surgery today.... just don't know when. Please pray that the Lord will be with her and the surgeon, anesthesiologist, OR nurses and all who care for her. Thank you.

Why was Emmanuel's' name changed to "Jesus"? When Joseph was told by an angel that his virgin wife would give birth to a child, and that child would be called "Emmanuel", meaning "God with us". It is my understanding that the name "Jesus" is just another form of the name 'Zeus' --a Greek pagan God. Thanks

I come here regularly to pray for those who have made requests.

Please pray for me, that I may be delivered from oppressive fear, worry, depression, and anxiety and that I may bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Rachel, I'm lifting up your request this morning. Praying for your children's salvation, our children, the lost, and our Country.

Dear God, give Rachel's children the overwhelming desire to live for You. To repent. To live holy and sanctified lives and to fulfill Your purpose for their lives in this world and in the kingdom work.

I pray this for all of our lost children. And all of our children that are struggling, Jesus help them to walk the narrow road to salvation. Give them resolve in their spirits today. Please help them and be merciful to them.

I pray for our country and every lost soul on this planet. Please Lord, draw souls to Yourself and send out the laborers and preachers! For the harvest is great but the laborers are few. Let us be united in You. And bound by love to one another.

Our country needs a Holy Ghost revival. Bind and break ALL of the enemy's plans.

Hi Janice. I would say that you would need to abide by the rules of the study group that you're with. Personally, I wouldn't be studying with JWs because of our differences in doctrines & beliefs, or with anyone else that treats the Bible in a manner at variance to what I read in it. But if you're happy to learn with them, then follow their requirements.

Hello, these ideas are entertaining, but untruthful.

It says right in the Bible the earth is round.

"It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:" Isaiah 40:22 KJV

Circle means round, it doesn't mean a dome or pancake. Discrediting nasa or people or videos has nothing to do with what the truth is as they aren't gatekeepers of the truth, God is.

You can also easily confirm and prove God's truth by simply flying around the world as many do every day. Just fly in one direction and you end up where you started. You can also prove the rotation of the earth and direction and the sphere when you have longer days when flying toward the west, and shorter days when flying east. It also takes seconds to compare the length of shadows on the earth in different parts of the day. Just facetime your friend on the opposite side of the world and he/she will be in darkness when you're in daylight and vice versa and measure when the sun rises for each place around the world and measure shadows along different axises and then you realize, yep, God is right that the earth is in fact round. What we understand of the word is found in several portions of the Old Testament, and this refers to the Holy of Holies that was the inner sanctuary of the Tabernacle (or, Temple when King Solomon/Suleiman) built it (e.g. see it mentioned in 1 Kings 8:1-9).

This place, the Oracle, that only the High Priest could enter contained the Ark of the Covenant. We know that this Temple was destroyed by the Romans in AD70, but what happened to the Ark of the Covenant, no one can be sure. So, in the biblical meaning, the Oracle is the Holy of Holies & that no longer exists.

The Bible answers this question quite clearly. Some are trying to use human logic through cherrypicking and misinterpreting a couple verses instead of simply believing God's truth through the whole Bible. Satan wants people to assume they have an insurance policy and license to commit unlimited sin and do whatever they want.

Does the Bible even say you're instantly "saved" when you start to believe, or does it say that you can have hope of salvation and assurance of salvation if you are a genuine follower until the "end" on the day of judgment? Let's see if the Bible says "now" or in the "end"...

Where in the bible does it say about three and one half of good times/years, then followed by three and half of the worst times/years?

The firmament is an enclosure over our earth (dome) and we cannot get out or escape it There are 240 verses in the Word of God pertaining to our fixed earth covered by a firmament. God took waters from the firmament to create the oceans, seas, lakes and rivers but there is still water in the firmament above (divided)

There are -0- verses in the Word of God pertaining to a round spinning globe at 1000 mph which defies every law of physics when it comes to a thing labeled "gravity".

The earth is actually massive compared to what we've been told and there's a youtube video that's been deleted and is now on Rumble, where Buzz Aldrin is asked by a young girl what it was like being an "astronaut in space" Buzz Aldrin struggles to answer the question, pauses, and then reveals the truth by saying "he was never really an astronaut, he was a scuba diver"... As many might already know, the KJV used the letter "J" to replace the sound of the Hebrew (yod). Today, the yod is usually translated as a Y or I in English. To be fair to the KJV translators, the sound of the letter "J" was in flux for a long time. In the beginning, the J in English was more like the J sound in German .

We can discuss the letter W , but I think you get the gist , it's pronounced Veh .
