Dear Charles, I will pray for you today.

Lord God, You know all things and can do all things for us that will help us and bring You glory. Charles is asking for his eyesight to be healed. We ask You today to hear his prayer and answer him with improved eyesight. We entrust Charles' sight into Your hands, Lord, knowing that, in Your loving wisdom, You will bring the best answer to his request. Amen.

    Dear Amy,

I have lifted up baby Bodi. How is he doing today?
  • GiGi - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Dear God knows,

This is an excellent prayer you made here. We can entrust our thoughts, emotions, and situations to God knowing that He does know all about us and our difficulties. We can have peace knowing that He is rich in mercy, it "never comes to an end", as Jeremiah lamented. I pray that you will soon have relief from the difficulties in your present situation and that, through this you will be strengthened in faith and your resolve to follow the Lord with your eyes fixed on Jesus, who will bring us through our sufferings, hardships, and difficulties lovingly and graciously.

Maybe you are able to answer folllowing question:

In Bible it says we must be baptized in Jesus name and filled of the Holy Ghost to see the Kingdom of God. Another place says be baptized in the name of the father, son and Holy Spirit.

Not sure if you are allowed to answer the question.

    Have a blessed day!

    Hey Donald Duggan,

Just something to consider; using the recorded dates of 538AD as the time when the papacy became an established power until 1798AD when the French army broke it up is 1260 years calculated on 365.25-year. In the prophecy, 42 months, 3 1/2 years, and 1260 days are based on a 30-day month and 360-day year. Would this change these dates fitting a prophecy when based on a 360-day year, would only be 1241.89 years, not 1260?

I agree there were many terrible things done by the papacy and it would be easy to equate it to this prophecy. My understanding of the tribulation is 3 1/2 years but if we consider it to be 7 and if the first half is 1260 years would not the second half be the same amount of time?

Just a thought you may consider.

    God bless,

    RLW

Dear Sean, We all need help with all the things you mentioned. I certainly do, including more money, but I have learned that when we tithe our money God will give it back more money and blessings. You cannot outgive God. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

I have been born again and rely on God to grant my needs. He has never failed me. And I don't have to ask Him to let me enter His kingdom because taking Him for my Savior guarantees me entry through the gate. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Paul and Silas's jailer asked them in ACTS 16:30 ..."Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" Their answer was as simple as this in ACTS 16:31 ..."Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved..." Simple as that.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.- Romans 10:9-13.

    God Bless!

Hi Jacqui. In Hebrew, 'soul' (nephesh) is a feminine noun. So David is specifically referring to his soul, his inner being, that will glory/rejoice in the LORD, rather than giving the impression that his glorying is simply a mental or superficial act. In many languages, Hebrew included, the gender is not applied to the person speaking, but to the object being referred to.

Another example can be seen in Proverbs 1:20,21, "Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words". Here, Wisdom, in Hebrew, is a feminine noun, so when wisdom is revealed or spoken about, we read it in the feminine gender.

Suffering brings us humans to a junction in our earthly lives. Why are we suffering? What did we do to deserve this suffering? How to stop the suffering? Who is to be blamed ? These questions reveal that somemind, g caused this suffering. If one have a physical challenge, maybe it is from birth or happened later in life, it not on!y affects one physically, like being unable to do things physically compared to a person without physical challenges. It affects us mentally, and therefore emotionally. Sometimes we do not have a physical challenge, but the situations that we face, poses a challenge to us. All sorts of thoughts that cross our mind we end up harboring, till it reaches a state where we become overwhelmed, we retaliate, we become bitter, and therefore we allow ourselves to fall into a mental state of disease and despair. we become our own worse enemies. Our thoughts become toxic, where no-one else wants to be around us. We begin to feel despair, and we feel like the walls are closing in around us. We feel hopeless. We become so consumed in the negative thoughts that we allowed into our minds, that we feel that we cannot take it anymore, we want the situation to stop. We feel like we are going to lose our mental balance. This state of mind can drive one to make the wrong choices in life. Especially when we are burnt out or consumed by the FIRE of the situation we called problems. Question: How do one overcome? This is my suggestion.... Get a personal book......put the date, then, start writing down the situation that you are experiencing..... The idea is to get it out from your mind into paper. This helps to declutter your mind so that you don't feel overwhelmed and consumed by those thoughts which are toxic. What you are doing is taking an action, empowering yourself to start healing. When the mind becomes decluttered, you must make extra effort, and take a decision that you are not going to allow your mind to be filled with non productive thoughts.

I determine in the name of Jesus Christ, that your friend, Mike is already healed. Jesus said to ask and it shall be done. How do one access the favor of God? Just as we seek to have the presence of others in our lives by communicating with them in many ways, so too if we must seek the presence of God, we communicate with Him, by reading His word, which comes from the scriptures, and having fellowship with others in the same faith. The spirit of God is veiled, and God is omnipresent, meaning He is everywhere, His works are in everything. But He is not going to reveal His Holy presence to one who is mind is not ready to accept Him. He gives little clues of His Holy presence, to peak the interest and stimulate the curiosity of the human mind. E.g. if one sees a beautiful picture or something that appears unique to his mind, his curiosity is being stimulated for him to go a little extra mile in thinking about that unique picture or thing. When this happens, the spirit of God uses His anointed ones to bring the individual's train of thought to the word of God. In so doing, a scenario is set up for God's work to be done in the life of that person. The scriptures directs one to keep seeking, and they will find the greatest love of all, God.

Yes, thanks for the Amos 8 reference. Also spoken of in Amos 2.

The Matthew, Mark, and Luke verses show how God loves us and stands up for us. He is our protector. PTL

Yes, seems captivity, slavery, bondage could relate to human trafficking.

I'm familiar with the break in Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 as possibility of so-called Gap Theory. Makes sense to explain when and how Lucifer fell to the earth. Also makes sense in explaining about the fallen angels (sons of God) mating with daughters of men.

And then He goes on in verse 12 to declare how he have "saved" , and have shewed, when there was no strange god among them: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
  • Baker - In Reply - 3 years ago
Being that They are one in the same, as you know. from what Im reading in Isaiah 43. God is declaring before witnesses that He had chosen and gathered that He is the one and only God, the way the truth and the light, and there is no other "savior" besides Him. It's still God the Father speaking here.

  • Adam - In Reply - 3 years ago
Thanks, do you think Isaiah 43:11 is referring to God the Father then, and not the Jesus the Son, or the Godhead?

"I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour."

Since Jesus is the one and only savior as 1 John 4:14 and Acts 4:12 says, do you think its possible the uppercase LORD and savior is Jesus?
  • Starbux - In Reply on 2 Kings 2 - 3 years ago
Get water baptized in Jesus name. It is the only saving name.

Acts 2:38, " Then Peter said unto them, Repent & be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, & ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost".

Acts 2:39, " It is the promise to you and to your children and to all that are afar off even as many as the Lord our God shall call".

Remember that Jesus gave Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven earlier in Matthew 16, therefore Peter is not in error.

All through the book of Acts, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus, never in titles.

Matthew 28:19 is fulfilled in Acts 2:38 as it also says "in the name of". Alleluia & amen
