Jesus said in Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

And in 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

I'm positive all has not been fulfilled

Thank you LORD for Your gracious peace and comfort we have in the salvation of Your Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. May we be like Paul and not falter in our testimony for the LORD. Even as we may be "taken prisoner" in our current societal and political circumstances; we must stand firm in the faith, and strive to declare the gospel of CHRIST every chance we can.

Let us continue to pray for our nation's leadership and their need to find the LORD'S salvation, and mind set. May we as GOD'S children be humble and call on HIS name for HIS glory and praise.

    2 Chronicles 7: 14, 15

GOD'S face to shine and be gracious on all on this forum. GOD bless you and keep you.

Leviticus Chapter 6; verses 14-18 continued..

This meat (meal) offering is to be a forever statute. So, with Communion, it is for us to be partaken of regularly as believers, as often as we eat and drink of it we bring to remembrance and proclaim the death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.

It says that everyone who touches those who partake of this meal are to be holy. This speaks to being consecrated. Those who partake of the communion are to be believers, thus being made holy by the Holy Spirit's regeneration and sanctification, by the death and resurrection of Jesus, and by the acceptance of the Father, having justified us through the blood of His One and Only Son, Jesus. The work of the Trinity in our salvation is important to recognize. We are reconciled to God by all of the actions of the Persons of the Trinity. Through the grace and favor of the Godhead, we are redeemed and set apart for God as holy priests who serve Him, the Only True God. He alone is God, there is no other, none before Him and none after Him. There will never be any other gods formed because a created being cannot become a god and be given the True God's divine essence. This essence only God possesses, however, being made holy through salvation, we are brought into communion with God and experience His Glory and Love both now and in the life to come. I don't think we can ever overestimate the worth of this experience when, because of our sins, we deserve to never experience this privilege. It is precious and only the angels and saved humans will be given such a marvelously rich gift in being in right relationship with our Great God and Savior, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    Leviticus Chapter 6:14-18

This portion of the chapter speaks to the Meat (meal) offering that the priests are to offer with the daily morning and evening burnt offering and peace offering. The priest is to take a handful of the fine flour and combine it with the oil and the frankincense to burn it with the sacrificial animal, with its fat. This will be a sweet and pleasing aroma to the LORD. It is said to be a memorial to the LORD. A memorial is something to be remembered. Perhaps the LORD wanted to the people to remember how He had delivered them from the bondage of slavery and also to realize that He has delivered them from the bondage of sin also through the forgiveness He gives through these offerings (which are a shadow of the sacrifice of Jesus). Perhaps the LORD wants His people to not be forgetful about being truly thankful to Him from their hearts for all He has done for them. We too, should be ever grateful to God for Jesus. We are to offer up holy hands with thanksgiving to God when we pray ( Philippians 4:6) We are told to not forget His benefits to us. This is the effect of having a sort of memorial. Partaking of Communion is such a memorial where we remember His body and blood that was shed for us for the forgiveness of sins. This memorial harkens back to this grain offering in this chapter of Leviticus.

Aaron and his sons are to use the remainder of the grain to make unleavened bread or wafers or cakes for their consumption. It is only to be consumed in the holy place, in the court of the tabernacle of meeting. Even this bread that the priests eat together is considered holy, not common. So the communal eating of it is an act of worship. Our taking of communion is to be eaten with other believers in a holy place as an act of worship. We should beware of partaking of communion in a flippant or insincere way. We are to discern the body and blood of Jesus, we should examine ourselves beforehand, confessing our sins, and honoring God as we partake.

Samuel, God's divine knowledge and wisdom is yours from the moment you asked for it. Remember what the scriptures say, ask and it shall be given. You have everything that you are asking for, open spiritual eyes and believe in His word, His promise. Our heavenly Father knows what we need before we ask Him and He is merciful and just to us. Believe, have faith in Him.

    Dear Admin,

How do we get new questions to be added to the Q and A section?
  • GiGi - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Amanda,

I am glad to hear that you wish to grow in faith. That is a great step to make in your own spiritual journey in becoming what God created you to be in Jesus Christ. It is important that you do this for yourself and not just to win back your fiance because maturing as a believer is God's will for all of us who profess Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

As to your question about how couples bond. Many couples develop common bonds around common interests whether Christians or not. People do come to love one another as whole persons and not just because of one or two aspects of a person's life. Many unsaved couples do this. However, in the case of your fiance, there may be such love bonds between you, but for him, if there is not a strong bond of faith between you. He will always feel a sense of loss in your relationship as long as this exists. He will be keenly aware of the lack of unity of the Spirit between you two and this will be a big concern for him.

So, there is the common bonds that couples feel with one another whether they are believers or not, but for the believer, the bond of unity of faith is very precious and worth having in a marriage. So, your fiance is wise to desire this. If it does not exist in your relationship with him after five years, it should be concerning to him and also wise for him to not enter marriage with you. He can either seek the Lord to bring another woman into his life for him to marry who really loves and seeks after God or he can pray to God to grant you and himself more time for this to happen before you two renew your relationship.

On your part, Amanda, it is most likely that your ex-fiance does feel these bonds you mention here, but the absence of the bond of faith is a biggie. It is so much of a concern to him that he thought it best to call of the wedding after 5 years. That is a big decision. It is a painful one to make. I have experienced this situation with a believer who broke off our 4 year relationship. It hurt

thank you, i hope this reaches you and that it finds all well with you and yours... when i realized the only forgiveness that i could ever have to cover my sins in this life would be my part in crucifying Christ upon the cross, that was putting my sin upon him when i asked for forgiveness thru what he done for all time past, present, and future... as i see it,, my story of my life has already been written start to finish and is known only to him that resides in the past present & future and i am now living that story...somewhere along the way i made the decision and believe on CHRIST, I believe he took all my sin upon that cross and was crucified....i have not finished living the story yet, so sin in my life will happen but i don't have to keep crucifying christ for what HE done one time for all times...but i must confess my short comings and sin and believe he is worthy in his word about my covering in his blood and this is for you as well...

Kind of! We refer to the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Three in one. For example: I am a daughter, I am a mother and I am a wife. Three in one. In no way am I comparing myself, but it's easier sometimes to think of in everyday terms. God the Son (Jesus) always was, but God the Father sent Him to Earth so that we might be saved and have eternal life.
  • SJK1967 - In Reply on Isaiah 47 - 2 years ago
No. Baptism is not a requisite for salvation. Baptism is a form of discipleship. In order to be saved, all you need to do is believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for you, shed his blood for you, died and rose again. You must confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. Ask Him in to your heart and to save you. That's it. After you are saved, the normal next step is baptism, but it's not required.

This is most likely a law of the land sort of thing, having to answer to a court of piers for being angry to a brother or sister without good cause, I know it doesnt say good cause , im not trying to add to the word of , its just some people get they feelings hurt way to easily and fabricate a cause for say no good reason.

there is no such scripture as such, however scripture does says at the end times the false one will seek to change dates, times, and laws... in today's world we see this being fulfilled in the church and society...scripture says again at end times what is wrong will be made the right and the right be made wrong... be not deceived, broad and wide is the way that leads to destruction and many do go down that way...But straight and narrow is the way to ever lasting life and few find it...So believe on the word of GOD for its ever-lasting, for the earth and heavens will be done away with, but the words of the LORD will never fade....

I always thought Ezekiel 44 to the last chapter in Ezekiel were the Millennial chapters when Christ reigns 1000 years from Jerusalem. It's difficult to imagine going back to an animal sacrificial system after the death of Christ on the cross, or maybe I am missing something?

it's good to hear stories that confirm scripture, yes,we war not against flesh and blood but the battle is a spiritual one. and with us,its within our minds and hearts, and in scripture it says be not divided among yourselves but be of one mind, body and spirit. and in another scripture "be not double minded"rest assure you have a soul that which is a spirit by nature, and i myself have had asked the question to many people "what are you"and i get all the time, i am a human-being.true. but in reply i say i am a spiritual being residing in human form. my spirit is a gift from GOD that will return to him one day,the battle that is on going is being fought on the EVIL side thru your humanism to attack your gift of the spirit pull yourself together as the scripture says choose now on whom thy will serve, FOR me and my family we serve the LORD.... one mind, one body, and one spirit....

    Hey Jag,

The letter to Ephesus starts with commendable words and then Jesus said He had something against them, they left their first love. My understanding is all they were doing had turned into a job, a habit, or a duty. First in terms of priority, what is most important, what they were doing was without the Love for Jesus, loveless labor. We can get into a routine and lose the light and become noneffective if we are not in a relationship with Jesus and deceive ourselves. It becomes me instead of Him.

    God bless,

    RLW

    Dear Prayer Warriors

Please pray I will have grace enough to bless my enemies. My heart is torn apart. The battle is so hard that right now it seems like I don't gonna make it. Even though I know by faith that I will make it through, and finish my race. Thank you for praying.

I have had the same problem as you and still have it to an extent, dear Leslie. I tried everything I thought it was right but it didn't work out. The only things you can do is love him and pray for him. I think I got a message from God for my problem (yours as well). He said to me "stop acting yourself, you are only causing trouble, and leave him in my hands. Pray for him and keep loving him."
