I just retired from teaching a year ago. The escalation of students into violent and abusive behaviors is widespread in our public schools. Teachers and students are getting assaulted daily in some schools, classrooms. The current popular discipline model is sorely lacking in sound judgment and downright harmful to students, both the victims and the abusers. Such a difference from even 10 years ago. That is when this "discipline experiment" began to show up and destroy classroom environments and learning on a daily basis. I will pray for you. But, I first want to advise you to never put a name of a student, even first name only, on an internet site. It most likely violates privacy rights of the student to do so.
Dear Heavenly Father, Please help T. in this teaching situation where this student is acting in violent, abusive ways often during the day. Please help T. discover successful ways to engage with him and cause her and other teachers to get the support they need to handle the situation when the student escalates so badly. Help this and other students get the assistance they need to be able to function better in the classroom environment. LORD God, please bring these distressing behaviors in so many classrooms to a halt. It is desperately needed for proper discipline and adequate consequences to occur so that these students will be deterred. Father, these children are exhibiting their sinful nature without check. Please bring your grace into the lives of these students and help them. Father, bring about resolution to the many serious problems and traumas many of these students have experiences and continue to experience. We ask this of You, Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen.
Before we take a decision about everything in our life we have to ask God first to advice us. He will find a way to bring His message to us. We have to wait until He answers back (and we have to be sure that He answered). We don't do a move unless He tells us to do so. All that obviously for serious reasons. We don't do our move hoping that that is God's will. It may be not. What makes us think it is? In the Book of Acts Paul and Silas went to Macedonia because the Spirit directed them towards there. If they went somewhere else they would have preached the gospel in vain. Sometimes a thing that seems to us to be the best thing to do, is not actually. When Lot chose the place near Sodome and Gomorrah because there was a lot of grass and water for his sheep, he couldn't have known that God was going to destroy those places in the future. At the time it seemed the best move, but it wasn't. We see the present but God sees the future.
Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, COUNSELLOR,The mighty God,The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
And now what? What do I do if I have done a mistake? Then I must know that God can find a way to fix it. But we have to wait and trust in the Lord (and have our ears open). He will eventually lead us to light again.
Isaiah 58:12 "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in."
So what we do now is:
Isaiah 62:7 "And GIVE HIM NO REST, TILL HE ... establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.(or anything else)"
Stay strong in the Lord. He will do the best for you.
Isaiah 49:15-16 "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee"

Yes imagine how everything fits in. An owl a mouse. A cat, a lot of hair. A dog a lot and take up from the field. Birds that eat insects and small ones that eat lice on the flower and shrubs. Can know that everything has its place in our gardens.

Some degree of apologetics here is in order to explain the most common objection to the statement of the sun and its apparent movements here on earth. (see also Job 9:7). Often this is dismissed as a superstitious viewpoint of the earth being the center of the universe with the sun revolving around it. When taking into account the movement of our galaxy; for example we see how the sun moves through it's own "circuit" as it were through our local system of stars and how in fact our galaxy moves in its cluster of surrounding galaxies through the universe. So; therefore there is a certain pattern that it has in regard to the bigger picture as the earth has. We also need to remember the verse in Joshua when the sun stopped for a day and the moon ( Joshua 10:13) as well a when the sundial returned back to where it was ( 2 Kings 20:1-11). There are historical accounts as well of supernatural events such as the sun and moon turning dark during the crucifixion in different parts of the world.
Notwithstanding; of course it is clearly not a "bridegroom" as verse 5 indicates; so we need to take symbolic language if literal cannot b taken as should be the rule in all scripture!
Note how law; fear; statutes and judgment are all things which we should think upon. This is the sentiment of verses 9 to 11. We are not given an indication what are "presumtous" sins (v. 13) or "secret faults." (v. 12). We do realize that in meditating on the Lord we are focused on Him and this readiness keeps us from slipping (see meditating day and night verse Joshua 1:8).
Brother Jesse checks in often,
I'm sure he will appreciate those kind words.
God bless you.
Well, I am not that close to animals/pets. I quite like them but not inside the house. My son insists for a dog. I told him that he has to choose between the 2 of us to be in the house, me or the dog. He said the dog! I believe he didn't mean it. Or maybe he did? He says when he gets out of the house to live on his own he will get some(???). I told him he should know that he will have to clean the place on his own and not to call us all the time. Young people! They want their rights but they forget their obligations. Well I would like to have some birds, like say parrots or something else. I have fish in an aquarium but I am not too crazy about them. There isn't much time after work to deal with that sort of things. I prefer to make or construct things in my free time, which I have very little. I like plants and flowers very much too, I like dealing with them in Spring and Summer. But to be honest if one is determined to work seriously for God, then there is hardly any time left for anything else.
Well, greedings to beautiful Norway from me. I have a friend who visited your country few years ago, before the pandemic. He was left speechless by the beauty of the countryside. The fiords, the forests, etc. It is a fantastic land, he says. I have never been there, but I have met some Norwegian people in the past. Nice and peaceful people (suprisingly for Vikings). Just a joke. Nice people. That was before I come to Christ. So I guess Norwegian believers are even more nice people. I pray you won't have any problems with Putin in the future, we need to pray for one another. The Spirit says that dark clouds are coming to the world. We must be ready to go, like the 5 wise virgins. I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, so not much time is left to get ready and go. But there is still a lot of work to do for the Lord, each one of us in their family, relatives, friends, their town, their country.
God Bleesings.
:-)
It was fellowship, strength, and encouragement to me when I was so physically alone and very sick and had re- committed my life to The Lord and during the pandemic.
It's very special to me. I come here almost every day. I will be praying for this site! Thank You Jesus.
How about joining with us in getting the Gospel out.
That is what we're commanded to do.
Gos bless.

If anyone knows Jesse ,please relay my words to him.
He goes on...
"Even in Old Testament times the sabbath was called the Lord's day, and is fitly called so still; and for a further reason, it is the Lord Christ's day, #Re 1:10|. If we thus remember the sabbath day to keep it holy, we shall have the comfort and profit of it, and have reason to say, It is good to draw near to God."
The above quotes from Henry and many others from him point to the weekly sabbath as the Lord's Day. No problem, until we read this supposed Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710 from Acts 20:7-12,
"They came together on the first day of the week, the Lord's day. It is to be religiously observed by all disciples of Christ. In the breaking of the bread, not only the breaking of Christ's body for us, to be a sacrifice for our sins, is remembered, but the breaking of Christ's body to us, to be food and a feast for our souls, is signified. In the early times it was the custom to receive the Lord's supper every Lord's day, thus celebrating the memorial of Christ's death."
These two Commentary's by Matthew Henry, 1710 are in conflict with each other. Question: Did someone tamper with the later Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710? If so, what purpose? Sun-day worship? Seems like it to me.
God allowed this to minister Jobs life and story to us.
Without the spirit of God in the world we all would be in that condition.
This reminds me of
2 Thessalonians 2:7. ( For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.)
Go's bless.
