I believe we can agree on the scripture you provided.
" 2 Timothy 3:16."
ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Here us one of all those scriptures.
1 Timothy 3:16. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
I'm sure we can agree to disagree.
Besides I'm sure you didn't come on the site to chase down all those who believe in the trinity.
Can we talk about something far more important, like soteriology?
"doctrine of salvation"
What is your beliefs?
I'm happy to offer my opinion. We can and should worship God every day, but many churches choose Sunday as a day to worship I believe because the first century church met on the first day of the week- Sunday. Read Acts 20:7. Since that is an example we are given, surely that's a good time to meet.
For your 2nd question, can you please provide scripture with the east/west that you believe is confusing? Christmas- I don't know. I kind of doubt Dec 25 was the correct day Jesus was born. But we also don't know the exact place in Bethlehem or elevation Jesus was born. There are many variables.
What some Roman guy or Catholic said or did carries no weight or credibility. The fact is Acts 20:7 said long before them that they met on the first day of the week so its not wrong to gather that day.
As for 666, people into numerology can make any book have the same 'coincidences' through enough research, but this is merely confirmation bias. It's similar to the birthday paradox how it seems illogical and almost like a conspiracy how with so few people you have 2 or more with the same birthday. It's a cute party trick just like the 666. It's equally likely to find 555 or 444 or any other sequence if one crunches enough numbers, but it doesn't mean anything. If some day I see people funneled into taking a mark with 666 on it then I will know with certainty that is something to avoid, but someone doing a little trickery to make a coincidence seem like its not is insignificant in my opinion. God bless.
John 4:24 GOD IS A SPIRIT: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and ONE SPIRIT, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
"ONE LORD," one faith, ONE BAPTISM,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, AND IN YOU ALL.
Romans 8:11. ( BUT IF THE SPIRIT OF HIM ) that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, HE THAT RAISED UP CHRIST FROM THE DEAD shall also quicken your mortal bodies BY HIS SPIRIT that dwelleth in you.
1 Corinthians 15:45. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; THE LAST ADAM WAS MADE A QUICKENING SPIRIT.
Acts 13:30. But God raised him from the dead:
Study these verses and you will see the trinity in who raised up Christ from the dead.
John 10:17. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
God bless.
Well Stated! I think you covered it all, there's not much to add to what you have said. Perhaps I can dig up a few scriptures that goes well with what you have stated.
I agree with that we can't judge the heart of man to be able to judge/condemn him. Romans 14:4.
Also Matthew 7:1-5 possibly is speaking of condemning as well.
Some of these would probably help being read in the Greek.
FRUIT INSPECTORS.
There's several scriptures that say we should correct one in their error, here's one and the mindset we should have while doing it.
Galatians 6:1-5. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, YE WHICH ARE SPIRITUAL, RESTORE SUCH AN ONE IN THE SPIRIT OF MEEKNESS; CONSIDERING THYSELF, LEST THOU ALSO BE TEMPTED.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
For every man shall bear his own burden.
In doing this I believe we should use the word of God. ( Hebrews 4:12-13)
This can be troublesome! How well this person takes this rebuke depends on their spiritual condition as well.
Paul says this kind of judgment is to be kept in house.
1 Corinthians 6:1-6.
Today some judge from a carnal mind. "One look at him and we think we got him figured out."
Also culture gets in the way. We compromise TRUTH for politeness. This also can be difficult.
We compliment someone's dead works "Efforts to glorify self" and we ignore their fruitlessnes or incorrect doctrine.
NOTE: If there's incorrect doctrine they believe in, that would certainly affect their fruitfulness.
We are to build one another up with the truth not flattery.
We should handle God's word cautiously and be open for improvement.
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 1 Corinthians 5:6.
God bless you.
Isaiah 40:13-14
(13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?)
-God does according to his will, even our own breath is in his hands.
on 6 its written that jesus died and went to hell and perched the gospel, Pray and read the bible ask for understanding.
Ephesians 4:8-10
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
5.Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
But thankfully, God causes the sun to rise on the wicked and the just. His mercy and grace does cover the earth and should he withdraw it we would all be like Job in this place of God allowing him to taste life that is under the curse of sin. Without
God's benevolence, mercy and grace bestowed upon the wicked and the just, we all would receive in our lives and our bodies all the consequences of sin in this life as well as the next. But it is His kindness that leads us to repentance. His mercy that we seek and His grace that we taste and know that he is good.
Dear Heavenlny Father, We bring Johsua before You tonight in Jesus' name. We ask that You cause this tumor to dissolve and not come back. We pray that You will bring balance to all the systems in his body that are now out of whack. Deliver Joshua from depression and any thought or attempts to harm himself. Cover him with You power and protection while he is at college and trying to do life in this environment with all that is attacking his body. Father, Joshua is hurting in so many ways, but the mental and emotional pain he is experiencing is so debilitating. Rescue him from this serious and onerous trial that is before him. It is too much for Joshua to bear. He needs Your mercy and grace tonight. Bring Joshua to cry out to You, LORD God, that he may turn to You for salvation and help in his time of greatest need. Amen
FREE I do hope you can get rid of them from your house soon. Maybe you need a good "mouser cat".
We are battling moles in our yard. Caught one yesterday in the mole trap. Still another is making hills and grooves in my flower bed. But at least these do not come into your house. Take care dear one.
We continue to persevere in prayer for those we love who have rebelled against God and turned from Him despite us bringing them up in the knowledge of salvation in Jesus. I pray for Daniel and for my sons to quickly turn back to God when they feel Him leading them back. I pray that they will inquire about Jesus and salvation from the ones God send to them to answer their questions.
Daniel had been through alot with his addictions and rehab and all. I pray that he will continue in sobriety and never return back to drugs or alcohol again.
Lord God, You love these men, our dear boys, help them today! In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
I will pray for your nephew tonight.
Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name we ask that You will bring swift healing to this boy's leg. Repair the sin that was burned. Take away any painfulness from this injury. Help him to be patient and strong through this trial. We are so glad that You desire the little children to come to You. Lead Him to You today, Father. Amen.
Candles burn wax which has a certain amount of oil in them. So-they are really not that different. essentially. Scripture does not say specifically not to burn candles or use them in worship. So, for me, if it is meaningful to one, I think it is fine to do so. But then again. I am not aware of candle lighting ceremonies or worship of pagans. They may be part of some pagan religious rites. But, then, pagans pray to their idols, should we not pray? Pagans sing songs in their worship, should we not sing? Pagans bow to their idols, should we not kneel or bow before God?
I think that each person should pray about whether using candles is a good thing to do for them. it may be good for some and not so much for others, depending upon one's prior experiences in non-Christian religious practices or lack of such experiences. For me, I was always involved in Christian religious practices, so I view many of these through the lens of how they help me understand who God is, how I can worship Him sincerely, and how it represents scriptural spiritual realities.
I believe that we indeed can tell someone whether they are headed for heaven or hell as long as they are alive and can be shown the way of Christ. But once a person dies, that is when it is God's business, not ours to judge someone eternal determination. We can be assured that those we have walked together with in Christ are indeed with Him after they die. But as to the heart condition of one at their death who we knew was not a Christian, God only knows that. So, we commend those who die into His hands and judgment.
I agree that we are to be discerning and discriminating about who we allow to influence us and our family. Also, who we engage with in close friendship and in business relations. We can make judgment as to the boundaries we will set in relationships with believers and unbelievers. We can certainly warn anyone who is sinning, especially if they are putting themselves or others in danger. Some may not like us to call them out on sin, but I do think we are to do so in love. Conversely, we should be gracious to anyone who warns us about our sin or wrongs we have done to them. We should use these admonitions as an opportunity to go before God and ask Him to help us see our sin and confess. We also set the example to others as to how we handle criticism and correction. We should not be like an unruly, rebellious child, but in all things be humble and able to listen to what others are perceiving.
I know that Scriptures says not to judge and also to judge. Perhaps Jesus was speaking about a judgmental attitude that mostly picks out the wrongs in others pridefully. This is certainly not godliness. We do need to check what we say and avoid being snarky, critical, sarcastically putting down others, snubbing others we deem too sinful for our attention, being quick to accuse another of sin. We also should check our hearts concerning our attitudes to people being sure to not hold ourselves above others, being respecters of persons, etc. like the Pharisees
