I have been a porn addict for most of my life saying yes Lord I want you in my life and never following through.I can't remember how many times I have said yes to Jesus Christ and failed him by going back to porn.Im now 71 years old and realized I have wasted so much time to my sinful nature and not given it to God.I have recommitted my life to Jesus Christ and ask the Holy Spirit to make all my moves.For the first time in my life I feel lead by God.

Dear Eric, all relationships require maintenance to keep them alive. God is still with you. He's still got a plan and blessings for you. All relationships require maintenance. We should never ask what God can do for us but what we can do for God. What have you done for Him besides the basics? Meditate on that.

Praise the LORD for all the comforting words of wisdom declared and shared on this forum. It is good to know that brethren exist and are active in every avenue of worship and praise unto the LORD JESUS CHRIST. It is like traveling- no matter where I go I can be assured there will be body of believers singing the praises of the LORD; preaching the Word of GOD; and I will comforted and allowed to be amongst them.

Let us extend our faith and knowledge of the LORD by praying and calling on GOD for HIS hand upon our current leadership in Washington. Our trust in Scripture and obedience to the same will bring about change as GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST see best for our times. May we lay aside every weight, especially the sin before us, and "let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto JESUS the author and finisher of our faith;..." Hebrews 12: 1b, 2a

So much before us to pray for and be active in; there is much we can do in HIS name. Let us start from the beginning: Romans 10: 9, 10; Ephesians 2: 8-10; Matthew 28: 18-20; 2 Chronicles 7:14, 15; 2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 2: 1-5; 2 Peter 1: 1-8. Many more passages, I'm sure you can add to the list, Amen!

Some believe and many Catholic s believe Jesus is God and also Mary is the mother of God , that's one reason they pray to Mary .

They have made both Idols. And fail to recognize Jesus is Gods Son sent to do Gods work as messiah, The Christ.

My personal belief is no, but that doesn't mean animals and pets aren't very special and loved. All animals are well designed and serve important roles, but I think mankind is extra special. He gave us freewill, not just acting on instinct and we're not just robots or puppets. We also have an extra burden of responsibility. We haven't seen zebras or donkeys making airplanes and spaceships and internet, but only mankind. God made is very different than all other animals and the soul and freewill is one of the key distinctions, in my opinion. But this opinion isn't based much on scripture because I'm not aware of any scripture referencing this topic. I did an advanced search for such a topic and found some discussing ot, but not sure if this is helpful. God bless. Link

Well the scriptures are your answer , I'd recommend reading the psalms of David , a few verses " search my heart oh God and see if there be any wicked way in me "

"Also forgive me of any secret sin "

It's only sin that separates us from God . So whole heartedly pray to God in Jesus name to reveal the problem , then repent of it forsake it and do Gods will .

David's experience of God was inspiring for me to read in the psalms as well .

God said David was a man after his own heart , wow what a compliment. Yet David fell into sin and had to repent . And was restored to God but not without consequences.

Job 3:12-19. Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?

Here's verse 14 which is in questioning. Let's take it with verse 13.

How do you deal with the feeling of losing excitement for God? My situation is that I've been clean and sober for almost 5 yrs. In the beginning I felt all these changes and growth taking place so it was exciting. I felt the Lord talking to me and healing my brokenness and I was even receiving revelations personally when reading the scriptures. Nothing has ever felt better. I read through the Bible several times zealously wanting to hear all God's words. Sadly, after reading it so many times I feel like I'm just reading a re-run now. It's lost its excitement, I wish there was sequels to explore for the first time. Over the last several months I feel a little bored with God. My momentum has slowed and become lack luster. Now serving in church just feels like free labor and paying my tithes feels like paying a bill or something. Not a lot of spiritual growth or inspiring things going on. Would you blame that on me or my church or who knows? I don't feel the Lord speaking to me anymore. Is this a normal thing to go through? Anybody else ever experience this sort of thing? I love God but wondering why I'm not feeling inspired.

Please pray for my uncle Danny he is in hospital on ventilator they're going to get scan to see if he has brain waves please pray that God heals him and uses this to open his eyes so that he can find his way to God because we're not sure about his salvation please give our family peace and strength thank you

I believe the water here is the word of God.
