Hello Beverly. We remember that when Jesus spoke these words (John chapter 14), the time of His crucifixion was not far away. Jesus was alerting them that the long & deep discourses they enjoyed together in companionship & ministry, would soon be over. The time was just around the corner when only a few words would be spoken by Him, as He had to engage with Satan (the prince of this world) who would now come after Him with full force (maybe to get Jesus to break down & sin; which Satan had continually failed to succeed in).

Jesus would have to suffer agony in Gethsemane, Judas' betrayal with a kiss, His arrest, judgements against Him, beatings, humiliation, & finally agonizing crucifixion. This was Satan's last chance if he was to have victory over the Son of God - but at every point, Jesus remained resolute in His Calling & to His Father, thereby ensuring salvation's path made forever available to us.

"hath nothing in me": or, as can be read, 'Satan has nothing to find in Me', or 'nothing in Me that he could grasp at'. Our Lord remained pure & unspotted despite Satan's temptations & thrusts. Satan would have thought, 'if only I can get to Him this one last time - I will give it my all'. But as Jesus implied, 'Satan would leave empty-handed - he failed at the first - he will fail at the last.' And this could also be a warning to the disciples, that though Satan will fail with Him, he will come after them & to all those who trust in Me & are My disciples. But Satan could never anticipate the power & efficacy of Jesus' shed Blood that ever stands as a memorial before God to all who have been purchased by it & secured by it.

And to answer your other question: we will always hear from the Lord, as the apostles did then, & we will hear from Him when we come in faith & in love as His precious blood-bought children.

Hello Cynthia. You'll find this account in 2 Kings 4:8-37 & specifically verse 10 (about 'making a little chamber'). However, in this verse, 'making' probably doesn't refer to some special building work being done to create a room, rather, a case of 'providing & preparing' an existing small enclosed area of the building (that's fast against the wall & part of the wall) so that Elisha could reside. In some homes in the eastern culture, there's usually a room at the entrance of a house where guests come in, sit, & converse. Guests/visitors usually are not permitted to go further into the home, which is reserved only for family & relatives. This may be a similar situation that we see here in Shunem.

The number 7 means completion, God rested on the 7 th day. The seven churches spoken of in revelation, along with the stars. Numbers are very Significant throughout the bible. The 10 virgins are the ten tribes, the 2 sons are the two tribes in the prodical son. The numbers Jesus uses are very important. The ten lepers etc...

    Hi Alex N;

It is alright if you do not believe in two gospels, but this does not change the fact that there are two gospels, the gospel that saved our spirit teaches the death, burial and resurrection, also known as the gospel of peace, the gospel of salvation, the gospel of God and the gospel of Christ, however these names do not change the gospel. But when we preach about the gospel of the kingdom, we are not teaching about eternal life, we are teaching about a kingdom based upon theocrasy, where the Lord Jesus owns the kingdom and all the people in the kingdom. All of the Lord's parables are not about getting saved or being born again, they are about the kingdom of heaven, this is the gospel of the kingdom, when the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 6:9-10, Gal. 5:19-21 and Ephesians 5:5 he did not teach if Christians live a sinful lifestyle they cannot go to heaven, nor did he teach they will go to hell, he taught they will not inherit the kingdom of God. This message is about the gospel of the kingdom, although all Christians will go to heaven, not all Christians will enter the kingdom of heaven, being the millennial kingdom at the second coming of Christ, nor when we start the new heaven and new earth in the final kingdom of heaven, the city New Jerusalem. All of this is about kingdom theology, so if you call it the kingdom of heaven, or the kingdom of God, or the kingdom of Christ, this does not change the dispensation, nor the manifestation of the kingdom. I have an abundance of scripture for all of this, if you are willing to learn, I will share this with you.

Isn't it something. The whole book is about faith. Faith in no matter what circumstance we find ourselves in ! Continuing to hope and believe that what has been written , is true even until our dyeing day! Things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen!

Keep reading, study hard, take nothing for granted! The Holy spirit will guide and keep you. In Christ , Fred

I have lifted Tyler up in prayer that her anxiety and forgetfulness may be taken away and that she would have peace in Jesus' name. I recommend printing or writing out these verses for her and telling her to put them up where she can view them often:

    Matthew 11:28-30 and 1 Peter 5:7

I have several mental illnesses that have ruined my life. The worst one that I have is probably obsessive-compulsive disorder. I have rarely ever had peace, and when I have had peace it never lasts long. Please pray that my brain could be healed so I can think clearly and live an abundant life.

The holy G host, the spark of light given to all along with knowledge, understanding and wisdom, I will say.

Then further investigation and cross reference generally provides greater understanding, for example; the one time 'planets' appears in the bible when the correct translation from Hebrew should have been constellations.

    2 Kings 23:5

And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

This is but one example of course but if we are to give validity to the full glory of the Creator and the word, then the simple understanding as to the true nature of our environment should only empower and cement our faith beyond the matrix world great work of the adversary. All is mind, all in man not resource, would you agree?

    Hi Linda.

What Luke 2:21 is saying this is which what was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. Other words the Angel Gabriel was instructed by God to name Mary's child "Jesus "

    Here's the account.

Luke 1:26-31. And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.

Linda, in addition to Gigi and Ruach reply, let me add context to fully understand and answer your question.

Luke 1:33 Context 30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Luke 2:21 21And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

WATER BAPTISM - LA Outreach on September 29, 2018, my 38 years of journey became real, took a lot of detours, lots of trials - very hard, mild trials, and not so easy trials, but all in all my Jesus change my life, healed me of many diseases: diabetes, very high cholesterol, high blood pressure, prostate enlargement, arthritis, heart disease with block arteries. I refused to take my doctors' prescriptions, I was told if I don't I will die, but I kept my faith in JESUS, never took any medication. Now my Jesus healed me completely.

I learned how to fast and pray. After fasting 11 days absolute, 12th thru 21st day water only fast, 22nd thru 28th day two meals fast November 1 - 28, 2020, a hard trial came to my life: December 2, 2020 my daughter a registered nurse noticed I look sick, tested my oxygen concentration, was 83% normally was 97 - 98%, tested me for COVID-19 - positive, called 911 on me, paramedics took me, I brought my Bible, remembered what our Beloved Evangelist Pastor Wilde E. Almeda, end-time prophet of God, in time of danger, call on Jesus, Hallelujah Praise the Lord, which I did, asked Lord if this is your will, I'm not afraid, willing to die and be with you. However, Lord I'm only 3 years old, a baby Christian in your church, let me live Lord, I want to serve you many more years, now adult choir member.

By the time I notice, my nurse finished admitting me, I asked her to leave me, provide privacy so I can pray and meditate. She obliged, turned down the lights, I took off my oxygen, prayed, felt the Holy Spirit in me, my eyes closed I could see a big hand over my head, head a voice open my eyes, it was then my nurse entered my room, turned on the lights, found me without oxygen, said, Mr. Malit you're in big trouble, check my oxygen, shake head, checked it again shake head, asked her, what's wrong, said I can't believe it. It's 95% without oxygen. I told her my Jesus healed me, my nurse, doctor couldn't believe what just happened, they don't have to

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

I'm confused about this scripture. We pray and hear from the Lord now. Does this mean we won't? Is the prince of the world referring to satan?

I do agree, and when the content of what we read is done so incorrectly, whether it be carelessly or heaven forbid intentionally our view becomes skewed, wouldn't you say?

    Hi Cheryl.

Chapters 1,2,and 3 speaks of Judgment coming upon Israel.

In verse 16 he asked that they cut off the hair of their children. This is a sign of deep mourning. The Assyrian was coming and thy took the children first.

Micah 1:16. "Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee."

We see this display of mourning in Isaiah 15:2

"He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off."

You have the reason of this Judgment in ch 2.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.
