Why is god a jealous god

Does the Bible anything about difference between those who know the word verses those who obey or do the word (other than James)?

This is what have found so far: Two Books of the Bible, Ecclesiastes, which is within canonized Scripture, was written by King Solomon, and this is the New American Standard version; and Ecclesiasticus, from the Apocrypha or "hidden books", was written by a man named Jesus Sirach, and this is the King James version.

I made an egregious mistake that made my friend very upset with me. I've admitted to my mistake and apologized. My friend said she doesn't trust me anymore. My word doesn't mean anything to her and she's thinking about cutting me off from her life. Later in the evening, I texted her, "Whenever you're free, give me a call. I have some words I would like to say." She replied, "Sleeping on this." This all occured yesterday. I haven't eaten anything, I haven't spoken to anyone, and I haven't slept in awhile. I'm asking God to not only forgive me, but for him to give my friend the strength and compassion to forgive me. What I did to her was awful and despicable. I fully acknowledge that. We've been friends since January and she's very dear to me. Her friendship is very important to me. I want to be friends again and rebuild that trust. Trust takes a long time to develop, but it only takes one error to destory it completely. I hope the Lord can forgive me because I can't.

The word STAND in the verse is asked as a question for a reason, asking Who will make the First Resurrection as it does in Psalms 1:5 where the ungodly will not.

Why is the book of Ecclesiastes in the King James bible have only 12 chapters and The king James Standard version has 51 chapters please explain this situation thanks .

But Lemme give ya my slant on the 2 nd coming and the day of the Lord....Jesus said i come to bring FIRE on the Earth and what if its already kindled...Its His Wrath that we need,...Whom the Lord loveth he chastens...But if ye be without chastisment then are ye bastards and not sons... Hebrews 12 :49....His Wrath is his love for humanity....Even in the natural we chastise our kids simply b/c we love them....Thats y he is saying i come to bring fire on the earth, everybody needs his chastisment, his baptism of the H.G. AND FIRE....Jesus plainly tells us Ever sinner will have their part in the lake of fire...And every person whos name was not written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire, TY Jesus, its simply what we need as our God is a CONSUMING FIRE But our God is also Spirit his which is his baptism of the H.G. and Fire.

Much of the punishments in Revelation are noted AFTER the day of wrath is mentioned in Rev 6:17 which is when Christ returns and raptures his saints before pouring out his wrath on the unbelievers. So, it is my belief that the saints will have been raptured before those punishments are poured out on the earth.

The bible does not say that there will be a pretribulation rapture, so neither should we.

Applying this notion to the word of God only causes confusion.

Paul says that we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of God.

Whatever happens in the world can only happen when God permits it. So we cannot say that he is oblivious to the persecution of his people. He allows it and sanctions it so that his people can be tested

God has often punished his people with war and famine because of their unbelief and rebellion.

But even a righteous man like Job can be sorely tested at God's discretion.

The great tribulation will be a time of great apostasy where there will be false prophets and false Christs who would deceive even the elect if it were possible. Even today there is increasing apostasy in the church so the church will be tested by God during the great tribulation.

Paul says that before Christ returns to gather his saints that there must first be an apostasy and that the man of sin must be revealed sitting in the holy place. 2nd Thessalonians 2, 1-6

There is no 'age of grace' mentioned in the bible. God has always been gracious and long suffering towards his people.

Psalms 145:8

The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

But he also judges his people and can punish them for their disobedience and their rebellion. When God brings a famine or war the righteous and the unrighteous may suffer together.

So, God's people will suffer persecution and famine during the great tribulation, but Christ will rapture his saints on the "day of his wrath" before He pours out his wrath on the unbelievers.

one of the bigger laws of physic is that energy can not be created or destroyed, So where did it come from? It had to always existed. Can you imagine there being nothing, not even energy. I can't. So I have to accept that it all started, with energy. So what is GOD if not energy and obviously that energy must be good; and energy can create matter; and in the beginning, God created Heaven and earth and his spirit, his energy, moved upon the face of the earth; and He created man and man became a Living soul, living energy; and He talked with Adam; but Adam sinned and took the power to tell right from wrong, Adam's mind; and so we are living soul with a mind. Now a search on the internet confuses and speculated how the the soul and mind are the same; but it is not according to me and I think the Bible if you tke it in sequence.

Dear Lord Jesus, in Your name we pray to our Heavenly Father that Ivy will be made well and whole. Please Father, take away the temptations to suicide Ivy is experiencing and bring to her the help she needs to overcome this mental illness and all that is involved in this condition that steals and deadens so much in those who suffer from it. LORD GOD, I believe that You made Ivy for Your glory and for Your praise. We trust that You will indeed step in and rescue her from all that is attacking her now and bring her to saving faith, a sound mind, and a humble heart before You as Your Spirit shows her how she needs You and Your grace and salvation. Dear Heavenly Father, In the name of Your Son, Jesus, we come before You asking for You to intervene in Daniel's life today, bringing him to repentance and true faith and trust in You and in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. We ask that You help him to overcome troubling habits and continue on with his rehabilitation. We ask that You remove him from corrupting company and those who will harm him rather than help him. The record of Jesus' birth is contained in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. We were never commanded to celebrate His birth, but also never commanded not to. I think it is up to the discretion of each believer to decide on this matter, as Paul says, "whatever is not of faith is sin" as well as affirming that we have liberty in Jesus to celebrate feasts, Sabbaths, making some days more special than others or not to do any of these things. I do think that it was important or my children to be reminded of Jesus birth in a celebration year after year. It helps to form their conscious knowledge of the Scriptural account of His advent and an opportunity to repeatedly remind our children why He came. His birth can be celebrated any time. But Christmas does offer a ripe opportunity to do so as well as witness to the revelation of His birth in Scripture to those who do not yet follow Jesus but may upon hearing of how and why He became "God with us".

Father I come together with Ibn in the name of Christ Jesus asking you to help this family. Save this family and receive the honor. Go to heart of the daughter and deal with the root of the problem and set her free. Draw her with your loving-kindness and let your peace and love flood her spirit, soul and body by the Holy Ghost you have sent to do thou will. We ask this in the name of Christ Jesus. Most of us can truly understand your desires in this prayer. We can be thankful for all of the days and times we have received blessings and have had this joy and peace and safety in our lives. But we all can admit that we have had times of deep grief, loss, hardships, pain, suffering, and a sense of everything going awry. These times test us and also tempt us to doubt God's love and promises to never leave us nor forsake us. He is intimately with us in these difficult times, upholding us with His grace and power to save us. He comforts us and gives up hope when things seem like they will not work out for good. He reminds us that our life truly is in Him and that our times are in His hands. I hope today you will know the great love of Jesus for you and be blessed by Him even if you are facing hard times. I will pray for you.
