Pray that the Lord would provide the item to make it less of a visual challenge if it be His will for me to do it more often. And if He's called me to do this thing.

Sort of a fleece, if you will.

    Thank you

Richard H, IMO, I believe that Elijah and Enoch will be the two witnesses in Jerusalem. After all, they would be the only two men in history that did not die (aside from the ones who were taken to Heaven by Jesus upon his return) but they will die at the hands of the Beast's Israeli servants. Moses died and amazingly enough, he may have even wrote that before he did as he is the purported author of the Pentateuch.

My personal experience? it feels like your bones are sort on fire and the only way to get relief is to do what God wants you to do. Then when you have done it you have immense joy!

    But I found you a more biblical example in the book of Jeremiah. Please read;

    Jeremiah 1:4-19

The Lord CALLED Jeremiah to be a prophet. Hope this helps.

    I hope I haven't misunderstood the question.

Are you asking if an unspoken prayer is valid? I pray in my mind a lot when im alone.

This is an example of Hannah, who's lips may have moved but her voice wasnt heard. It's sort of the same.

    1Samuel 1:13

And scripture also tells us to pray without ceasing. I could be wrong but I imagine a lot of that would be silent unspoken prayer, in our minds.

Levi, I don't know how you live your life, but I am yet to run into a Christian that doesn't like traditions. It is the traditions that require sacrifice that we seem to have a problem with. Think of all the traditions around us... Christmas, Christmas trees, Christmas gifts, wedding rings, walking the bride down the isle, graduations, senior night at the ball game just to name a few. Sometimes when we aren't the ones in charge of a church our minds can become contentious with things we would like changed and call them the "traditions of men". It is a blessing to be a peacemaker and submit to one another.

Whereas in the food laws, eating unclean foods are not a sin, but are an abomination unto you.
  • Levi - In Reply on Proverbs 24 - 3 years ago
Is good advice yeah!, Is still a sin, most often yeah! only thing is abomination means, disgusting or detesting unto Him or unto you as the text may infer, it depends for example Proverbs 29:27 An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

This revelation through the Holy Spirit given unto us, is eternal as the life it represents is. Our lives are even as Paul's who are led by the spirit into the heavenly realm. A realm we as believers look into, a realm of the revealed gifts of the knowledge and wisdom that overflows to those who love Him. Even so , we must be on constant guard to those things that keep us from this glory, setting aside the sin that so easily besets us. This sin keeps us from the full revelation of the glory we have in the here and now!

This glory God revealed to Paul, even while in the desert for 14 yrs. before finally meeting and entering into the ministry. A time of reconciliation that would become the foundation of His teaching and preaching. Even when we think God is not using us, even while in the spiritual lull, God is shaping us up for the next meeting!

Thank you for your response, surely Paul was overwhelmed when He received letters such as yours

We are all disciples in Christ! stay in word! Repent and be Baptized

It's the same here in 1 Peter 1:3 as is in John 3:1-7 begat us again, born again ,,, it's the physical birth into these flesh bodies.

When we receive Christ we then become of A (New Nature)

A "church" is supposed to be a place where God's word is taught. Nowhere in the Bible does it say a building makes a church. The Bible also warns us of "Traditions of Men" and churches that teach and promote these "Traditions of Men" instead of the true word. The tools are available to us to fully understand God's word. Learn to "test" your "teachers" and never put too much trust in man.

This is the first of a number of "impreccatory" Psalms. The conundrum in the minds of some today is that desiring our enemies to be destroyed somehow is contradicting the N.T. sayings of Christ to "love our enemies". We should see; however that in the GENERAL case of the fate of the wicked such sentiments (if I can use that word) toward the Pharisees were; shall we say not exactly "politially correct" at best; and led to most if not all of the TEN attempts on the life of Christ before the crucifixion. We should look at it in terms of the final fate of the unredeemed as Revelation states in chapter 21; verse 27 nothing "unclean" enters the holy city. This is fairly close to the reaction toward those in hell as seen at the end of Isaiah 66.

God surely gets no "pleasure in the death of the wicked". ( Ezekiel 18:32). To understand David correctly we must see it as the Holy Spirit and inspired scripture; although there were those enemies of his that he wanted to see eliminated. It wasn't for the sake of a personal vendetta; as can be seen by his patience with the "anointed of the Lord" ( 1 Samuel 24:6). Even when his own sin took Saul; David mourned over his death. We can look at Judas Iscariot and the prophecy ( Psalm 41:9). This was a man deliberately chosen and called who was predestined to be the son of perdition. Nonetheless; giving him the sop was said to be something honoring a person right before Satan entered him and he went off to betray him. (see John 13:29). Loving our enemies therefore is personal; whereas our attitude toward destruction is impersonal. Only God can make the personal judgment; and tdhat is impartial.

Therefore; the general message is the blessing of rightous (verse 11 and 12) and the destruction of the wicked because of their sins making them deserving of such a fate.

Hi Robert. The word in Greek refers to 'begetting again or begetting into a new life'. I suppose the thought is as expressed by our Lord in John 3:1-7 in His encounter with Nicodemus & also again referred to by Peter in 1 Peter 1:23, where "born again" is used to denote that we were born once (physically) & the second time (spiritually). Thus, those who have come to Christ in faith have had two births, hence being "begotten again" (a second time).

Yes Lord! Please put up a hedge of protection around Denise and her family, me and mine, and EVERY brother and sister in Christ that is and is to come from now till eternity!

Let Your seal be on us and Your Holy Spirit be in us. Forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

Help us to run from evil, to depart from wickedness and evildoers. Let us not keep company with them but rather let us separate ourselves and be holy. Cleanse Your church Lord, Your bride!

Lord save the lost today. Please, save the worst sinner in each city in my county. I pray that in Jesus name! Save my worst enemy today. Save that person, whoever that is.

Please bind up darkness and works of darkness. Let weapons formed against You and us FALL and be utterly broken for all eternity!

Pull down kingdoms of darkness in high places.

Lord I worship You today. I thank You for all that You are doing, have done, and future blessings and protections to come. I truly glorify You in my spirit and before men, women, children, plants & animals.

YOU ARE WORTHY TO BE PRAISED SND I AM SO GRATEFUL. Thank YOU JESUS! IJnip, amen.

    Genesis 14:12,14,16,

The Bible is interesting about "brother" generations after Esau & Jacob the brotherhood was still very significant to GOD.= Obadiah 1:10,12,13,14,15,

    Jesus speaking : Matthew 12:47-50, John 1:12

If we can call each other "bro, brother," in slang in our society, just relation in sporting ....? Is it the Son of GOD reference? 2Peter 2, note 2Peter 2:7-9, Romans 8:14, Hebrews 11,

    Hopefully these are helpful
