The Lord Of The Sabbath

Matthew 12:1-8

1. At that time Jesus went on the Sabbath day through the corn, and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

2. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to coupon the Sabbath day.

3. But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

4. How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priest?

5. Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath day the priest in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?

6. But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

7. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

8. For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath day.

Hello M.M....GBU....Lemme give ya my slant on this Trinity kingdom...Its very simply a 5 yr old can understand it...If ya can understand Abraham Issac and Jacob and their being multiplied as the sands of the seas....They became a great nation simply b/c Abraham offered up his his only son Issac...Abraham offered up his only son of PROMISE....Just as Father God offered up his son of Promise Christ Jesus....This Abraham Issac and Jacob were all 3 related as Father Son and Granson without this Abrahamic trinity there cd not have been the 12 tribes that became as the sands of the seas

......Likewise this God the Father and God the Son and God the H.G...Are all 3 RELATED as FATHER SON AND GRANSON....3 Distinct beings, but the 1 singular Father of ISRAEL....They are 3 distinct beings but all 3 related by the same spirit of Godliness....Even in the natural a Father Son and Granson are all 3 related b/c thy are 1 blood line....But in the Spirit the God Head is all 3 that are related by 1 Kingdom Spirit Line..Of righteousness/Holiness/Godliness/Glory/Honor/Wisdom/Strength....

Comes out of Christ Loins..When he Breathe on them they were impregnated by Jesus Words ( his Seeds ) ..Jesus said b/c i have spoken these words sorrows have filled your hearts..Then he said when a woman is in travail she has sorrrows but after the Child comes her sorrows are turned into joy....She brought forth a man child that is gonna rule all nations and her Child was caught up to God and to his THRONE... A BABY GOD...That Child the H.G...which is spirit is the result of Jesus WORDS HIS SEEDS..Jesus is the Father of this Child which is the H.G...Thats y Isaiah refers to Christ as everlasting FATHER..HE is able to propagate very God with his Seed. Whatever the cause of such insanity; likely direct DNA manipulation from the mark of the beast much like the corruption when the "sons of god" had relations with women in Genesis and had offspring ( Genesis 6:2) and/or the mind control from the image of the beast somehow directed by some virtual reality it is clear that once man starts to attempt to band together to fight God it is a hopeless situation. Once again; however Satan's masterpiece of authority over the earth runs the course determined by God and no doubt there is no love lost when Satan is cast into the bottomless pit the same time the Beast and False Prophet are tossed into the fire. Satan's character won't change in the whole 1000 years imprisoned as he will attempt one more worldwide rebellion after the Millennium.

His power; of course is in willing subjects. There are many today who may acknowledge that they are sinners; but not that Satan is their master. There no doubt are some dedicated Satanists who are determined that they will soon fight Christ and God. They probably will have some deluded concept that they succeeded in killing Christ the first time and deny His indestructible Resurrection and somehow think they can now succeed in destroying an Omnipresent; Omnipotent and Omniscient God.

God takes no pleasure in the destruction of the wicked ( Ezek. 33:11). In this case; however the madness of their folly is laughed at. They are beyond any fear at this point; totally controlled by Satan. He who destroyed cities and made the world a wilderness ( Isaiah 14:17) is now cast out of his grave (Antichrist here; who is not given honor of a burial and verse 21 talks about the slaughter of his children (likely those at Armageddon). Satan is burned up before the earth later as well ( Ezekiel 28:18). Many other scriptures talk of Armageddon as well.

Verses 10 to 11 may be talking about rulers that survive physically into the Millennium and or the saints of God who rule

Do you know what you reminded me of with your post?

There is a sister in faith over here who during a very hard time in her life complained to Jesus. She told Him that He had no idea of what she was going through. She said He had no idea what loneliness is, what feels to be mocked at, to be abandoned, to be hurt and a lot more that I don't remember. As soon as she finished her complaints she heard His voice. "Don't I know what is to be mocked at?" At the same time a picture of Jesus being mocked at between the Pharisees went through her mind. "Don't I know what is to be abandoned?". A picture of Jesus alone without any support and help being hit and hurt by the Pharisees' servants went through her mind. "Don't I know what loneliness feels like?" A picture of Jesus alone in the dark room of His prison during that night emmerged in her mind. "Don't I know what is to be exhausted and hurt?" A picture of Jesus on the cross came into her mind. After all that the sister crying asked Jesus sorry for what she said to him.

I don't remember all the details exactly, but it is a real story. There is somebody up there who knows exactly how we feel.

Yes you are right, church is the people not the building. So the gifts are given to work during a congregation. That is why God gave them to His people. They are not for one's personal pleasure but for the saints gathered to worship God. They are to be communicated to all. Of course the gifts are not only active during a congregation. But will one be given a gift If he has never integrated himself in a congregation? What for? To whom shall he communicate the work of his gift? Paul always adresses his letters to churches, he never considers christians as lone persons.

The problem today, unlike the ancient times, is that there is not a unique church with a unique belief. Of course one can say that the universal church is all true christians dispersed in all sort of churches, but still I think there must be gifts active in the function of any real church/congregation. If you look at denominations like the R/Catholics and Orthodoxes you will notice that they function in a way completely different from that described in the Gospel. Priests and liturgies and all those. So where are the gifts in those churches? People in those churches hardly know one another, if they actually know anybody else apart from the ones who sit next to them. So whom shall the gifts serve? Also apart from the priest nobody else takes any part in the liturgy. People are only observers. That is why they are not given any gifts. They are dead churches like the church in Sardis. Only a small portion of them who try to do what they read in Gospel are saved but still they have never heard of spiritual gifts and their function in a congregation.

Jesse why wouldn't a christian want to be in a congregation? Certainly there must be one who is right in their eyes, unless there is a practical reason for not being able to do that. It is not good one to stay alone. We all need a christian community. To be with people similar to us. We have nothing in common with wordly people.

All of the Spirits are individual and unique and they all have names....They have to be born just like ppl are born via a seed a spiritual seed the living words of God....God himself is a spirit and man is made after the order and image of God....As God is a consuming fire Hebrews 1:7 ....A H.G. fire as Jesus said he came to bring fire on the earth but its not a fire like we know it....Its a spritual fire as God is Spirit but he is also a consuming fire...And of the Angels he saith he makes his angels ministers and his angels a flame of fire Hebrews 1 :7 kjv. Angels have no F.M...gender..But Jesus said that which is born of the spirit is spirit so spirits can be born in us via his seed the living word is the seed of God....Thats y Jesus was saying to whom the word came ( his seed the LIVING word ) it made them Gods...Both Jesus and the H.G. CAN REGENERATE THEM SELVES IN HUMANITY....Thus there is an Israel of God on the Horizon... Gal. 6:16 kjv....Which is the H.G. the children of Promise....A Kingdom....Unless you receive the Kingdom of GOD AS A LIL CHILD... A spiritual Child is gonna be born in us....You will in no wise enter there in...She brought forth a manchild that is gona rule all nations...Which is the H.G. that Child of Promise... Baby CHRIST....A new INNERMAN WHICH IS SPIRIT...A new heart and newspriit...Which is that New COVENANT I WILL KNOW THEM ALL AN INTIMACY

......27 times in the O.T. The Prophets saw the world in travail and birth pains.....Thats y he has to KNOW us, there has to be an intimacy that results in this New Birth....Of Christ in us the hope of Glory....When Jesus breathe on them he was KNOWING them as his words are his seeds....And Isaiah says that this KNOWLEDGE ( THIS INTIMACY ) is gonna cover the earth as the waters cover the seas.....Thats y Jeremiah saw all the world in Travail and birth pains....Why do i see all men with their hands on their loins as woman in travail....Its a time of Jacobs troubles that heavenly Jacob the H.G...

Leslie, I may be missing something here but am wondering if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your own personal Lord and Savior?

Basically that means that you know and believe YOU are a sinner ( have done bad things) and that you will be judged for those things YOU have done ( the payment or "wages" of sin is death ) by a loving but JUST and HOLY, RIGHTEOUS,Creator, God.

UNLESS you accept the Gift of SALVATION made possible by Gods ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS CHRIST, who was born of a virgin birth and became a blood sacrifice for YOUR sins and a bridge between you and God, Leslie.

I'm gonna step out on a limb here and say that the very first thing you need in your life right now is our loving and merciful Savior Jesus Christ.

Then you can trust and believe that you can pray to God the Father in Jesus name and the blood of Jesus will then cover you.

And you can tell your situation to Him and He will work it out for your good someday, somehow.

Reading the entire Book of Hebrews tells us that the Jews rejected these valuable teachings back then. Now many Jews today accepted the truth about what Jesus did on the cross. The trueagedbelievers are not a babe anymore. We are in the Kingdom of God for a long time. We are working to be holy because we know we are already saved until the Lord Jesus Christ will come and take us alive or dead n Christ. Something to be excited about. I cannot emphasized enough that once a true believer enters into the Kingdom of God you are God's children. Yes you will have afflictions, yes you will be mocked, yes you will have people around you who does not fully understand the power of God, yes we have unbelievers around us, then it is up to each of us how to show the Glory of God is in us. I read a few comments here and there in this site and I can only pray with the help of the true saints here that we all speak the same thing about the Kingdom of God and heaven above. There is no going back when you are a true believer. The struggles with flesh is your own will not of God. When you are with God you know everything. Be patient because good character is a work of a lifetime and as you aged you can reflect and say "oh that is what it meant to be." Let God do all the work. Jesus already won!
