1 Corinthians 13:1-13

1. Though I speak with the tongues of man and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or tinkling cymbal.

2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understanding all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecy, they shall fail; whether there be tongues they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9. For we know in part, and we prophecy in part.

10. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12. For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three, but the greatest of these is charity.

James 5:19-20 After carefully studying 1:21 concerning how the soul is saved by the engrafted word, which refers unto the Ten Commandments written in the heart, and in chapter 2:14-22 faith with works is dead concerning the saving of the soul, as it must be saved by faith with works, he concludes here that the soul being unsaved enjoys the pleasures of sin, only when someone is able to convert the backslidden Christian from living an immoral lifestyle, is there any hope for that soul from living in death.

The foundation of amillennial belief is free will to choose to accept our human condition after leaving the first commandment, yet carrying the promise of redemption to the Cross by repentance and faith. The be-hind the scenes belief is in understanding the non-resistance Jesus had to the Cross and that he called his followers to do the same. Non-resistance and the predetermined will are incompatible with a return of Christ to the earth. The redeemed carry the promise fulfilled in peace in their hearts and lives until the last day.

Yes if the Lord was not on my side I should have fallen many times to destruction. I can look back over many years and see this is the case . In Jude He reassures us that no challenge is too great . Verse 24

Galatians 1:19 Paul did not see any other apostles but James the brother of Jesus. Now read on and absorbed what God revealed to us. There is a reason why this verse is important. Other Scholars said that the Book of James was written by James the brother of Jesus. How could that be? The message in James was that faith without works is dead James 2:20 & James 2:26. How can you explained the opposition on Pauls messages Ephesians 2:8-9? It is because the author of James is James the brother of John the sons of Zebedee. That James was killed by King Herod Acts 12:2 about 44 AD or CE. He was not seen by Paul after Paul went to Arabia. That James had written the book of James before James died to tell the 12 tribes what is about to happened in the tribulation ( my opinion after the church age will be raptured) James 1:1. If this was written by James the brother of Jesus, he would have not contradicted what he heard from Paul because he saw Paul right after Paul went to Arabia Galatians 1:17-19. The second part of 2 Timothy 2:15 we are not ashamed to tell all that we must rightly divide the word of truth. Know the physical and spiritual messages of God. It is only revealed when you trust Jesus and not yourself. If you do not rightly divide you will be confuse of your salvation. We are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. Amazing God we have. I glorify God by telling you this revelation. I please only God and not men. My life is a true testament of God's glory. Who has the mind of God Romans 11:33-36, 1 Corinthians 2:15-16. My brothers and sisters in Christ, if you are a leader in church, let the Spirit of God speaks to you..Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it. Genesis 33:11. But he said, As the LORD liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused.

Ephesians 2:1-10

5. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace ye are saved;)

6. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7. That in the ages to come he might shew exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is gift of God:

9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Very nicely explained by Henry in 1710. This chapter speaks so loud to me that there is a need to share. First, the fact that we all know in Acts what happened in Damascus when Paul was converted. Here Paul uses the words to tell the readers in Spiritual way that He is in fact chosen by Jesus Christ 1:1 and became a servant of Christ 1:10. Paul even certified that he received the gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 not from man, but it is indeed by the revelation of Jesus Christ 1 :10-11. To certify something is indeed really deep in any professions. You investigate, you observe, you speak the truth, you have proven without a shadow of a doubt, you interviews people involved, you have all strong evidence, you even travel to a place to find that true evidence, you rely only on facts and the person that has integrity to tell truth. I guess you get the gist. The fact that he went to Arabia (Mt. Sinai) 1:17 God must have told Paul something that only Paul knows. Remember 2 Corinthians 12:1-4? How can you not think Paul is the 12th Apostle with this evidence? That is why 1 Timothy 2:15 tells us to study. Go figure and look at other Bible other than KJV. They removed the word "study". Folks I am not kidding you. There is something real God is telling us today. I would not lie either about this because I sense the urgency to tell this forum for whatever reason God only knows. Anyway, Paul then saw Peter for 15 days 1:18 and imagined the conversations then between Peter and Paul. In Acts Peter is telling everybody WHO they crucified was God. Then Paul revelation was that blood of Jesus Christ will saved the whole world if you believe and trust and have faith on that alone Romans 3:25. Not of works just by faith Ephesians 2:8-9. What a profound revelation. You do not want to be accursed 1:9 outside 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. We will be judged according to Paul's gospel Romans 2:16, Romans 16:25, 2 Timothy 2:8. God uses whomever He sees fit to use to get His message across . I don't know anything about anyone on here and don't wish to know , I only know if their words are in line with the Bible . I don't care who anyone is how rich or clever or even how long they have been reading the Bible . I only go by their words and their heart . If those are in line with Christ , who once said to his disciples who were complaining about someone who they didn't know who was going around doing miracles , Let him alone . It's not for us to judge people , if their words are in line with the Bible , which doesn't mean a church , it means God's Words , that's fine by me .

What is temptation? How does it come? When you are alone, as Jesus was? If so, How will you recover! What is the cover?

These instances, God opens the doors that allow just enough darkness in, that we might see if only a shadow of things as they are, and the things to come!

How loving He is, giving us a glimpse of His power and glory! Redeeming us every second of every day! That we have an escape, If only for moment, as He allows us to know the power of His glory! Is, real, as the life we have in Him!

You see, this is how He works! This is how He strengthens the soul! This is the manna from heaven! This is the bread of life!

Temptation God allows. He is the one that allows Satan. The Father's will is to make us stronger!

Christ knows His own word! He knows the power of it! He knows that the laws of heaven and earth rotate and evolve from it! He knows all things!

Satan must follow after, if only for a little while! Soon to be frustrated once again, only by the power of His word!

We should always reflect on these things, these things that our Lord DIED for. We once again inherit the knowledge of knowing the truth! The wisdom to know the difference between reflective faith, and actual faith! How temptation reveals Satan's weakness's and strengthens us! The soul that believes will never be conquered! The soul of those who obey His word!

I'm praying for you Dorothy. And your son. I'm pleading the BLOOD OF JESUS over you and your home and son. Commanding the spirits of sickness (mental and physical both) BE GONE IN JESUS NAME. Lord put up a hedge so they cannot come back. Close any doors of sin or unthankfulness in your life. Please make sure you are praising the Lord continually in your home. Find things to thank Him for. Even a tiny wildflower! Thank Him out loud and tell Him how much you love everything about Him and His creation!

I ask also that the Lord gives you a heartfelt praise in your heart for Him. The Lord is great and greatly to be praised!

The theory that the millenium started since the begining of the church era and stretches till nowadays (and goes further on) is not new. It is a doctrine in Eastern Orthodox Chistianity. They believe that the 1000 year period is not a litteral period of time but it is figurative. and all events described are also figurative

Why do they think that? They rely on the verses in 2 Peter 3:8-10. "(8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.(10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

In verse 10 it says that the day of the Lord will come when everything (ie earth and sky) will be burned away. But that time occurs at the end of the millenium.( Revelation 21:1).It is when everything old goes away and new earth and heavens are created. So they consequently reject the theory of a pretribulation rapture.

What could be the answer to that? A possible answer (that my church believe is right) is that what is called "the day of Lord" is not literally a day or a specific time but a period of time. A period during which all the events leading to the complete ending of this world will take place, stretching from the pretribulation rapture to the White Throne. It seems that there is no other solution since we have to combine 3 different events in one "day". (a)The rapture, which for me is clear enough that will take place when things in the world are still going well. (b)The second coming of Jesus on earth. We know that time, it is at the end of the 7th week. (c)The distruction of the old universe.

I have to be honest , you do sound a bit like the pharisees Gianni's , I'm sure that not your intention but look at what you seem to be saying : don't listen to him/ her over there , that person is uneducated , that person is just a..... carpenter ? How does he know what he's talking about ? We are God's priests , God will tell us first if He wants to say anything , God wouldn't tell him/ her anything ! Hello Patrick. I don't believe that "the rapture is just a new world idea". It has been described in the NT (couple of Scriptures already given), as well as the belief of others, post-Book of Revelation. If interested to learn more, I would point you to 'David K. Herbert - The Rapture of the Church', where he has listed many men of old and of note who have expressed their views on this subject. The two more important ones, familiar to many of us, are Polycarp (a disciple of Apostle John) & Irenaeus (Polycarp's disciple).

Herbert wrote this thesis, over one hundred pages in length, & is therefore is too long for close examination here. So, I offer this not to present which view is correct as well as info coming from extra-biblical sources, but to state that the present view held by many that 'the rapture theory was developed only in recent times' is not quite correct. It may have become more widely talked about, preached & believed in many Churches latterly, but from Church history, we can see that this subject was never far out of the minds of those of the post-first century Church. If this document is too long to read, then Chapter 4 gives an adequate summary, evaluation & conclusion to his thesis.

A prayer for all WORLD LEADERS & MEMBERS of GOVERNMENTS (especially the USA) (and their citizens) to stop their sinful , Satanic agendas and ask The Holy Father to forgive them for their sins and all people to start new before it is too late.

Do you think 1 Thessalonians 4:17 is a "rapture theory"?

I agree that the verse in Thessalonians speaks of the resurrection of the dead and the tranformation of those alive when Jesus returns (now termed the rapture). The pre-tribulation rapture with Jesus coming (the 2nd time) and then coming again on the Last Day (a third time) is what Darby (and modern dispensationalism) promotes. It was not the teaching of the church prior to the 1800's that this event would precede the tribulation. I do not think it is supported by Scripture either. Jesus' Words say that He will return a second time on the Last Day and that is when the resurrection and translation will occur.

Dear Heavenly Father, We lift up Robert before Your throne tonight and ask that You do the work of salvation within Him by Your Holy Spirit and the true preaching of the Gospel, Father, no one can come to salvation unless You draw them to You through Jesus. So, we ask that You draw Robert to be reconciled to You. I pray the same for my sons Brian, Robert, and Kevin.

Father, we lift up Lilly before Your throne and ask that You deliver her from drug abuse. We ask that You draw her to You also and bring your salvation to her through Your Spirit and the Gospel of Jesus. Help Terri to know how to follow the promptings of your Spirit to witness to these she loves and deliver to them the Gospel of Your Son, Jesus, Who is our Savior. Help Terri to believe that the Gospel preached is empowered by the holy Spirit to bring on to faith in Jesus and His work of salvation for us. ( Romans 1:16). Give both Terry and I the courage to speak the Truth of Jesus in the Gospel message to our loved ones. Create the opportunities for us to do so, Father, for we know You love them as You love us and desire for them to be saved. We ask all this in the name of Jesus.
