    The Parable Of The Sower

    Matthew 13:1-9

    1. The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

    2. And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore

    3. And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a Sower went forth to sow;

4.' And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

5Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had b deepness of earth:

    6. And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had not root, they withered away.

    7. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them.

    8. But others fell on good ground, and brought forth fruit some, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

    9. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

The Parable Of The Sower Explained

    Matthew 13:18-23

    18. Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

    19. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

    20. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon joy receiveth it;

    21. Yet hath he not rooted himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

    22. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfullness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

    23. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it, which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, and some thirtyfold.

Gianni's. God never planted anything evil Jobs fear 3:25 led to His troubles

God said to Satan that Job would never curse or betray Him which Job didn't.

The book of Job shows the goodness God and the wickedness of the adversary.

The one steal kill and destroy. The other blessings and the giver of life and

Wholeness. In the gospels when Jesus Christ came to His own hometown he

Couldn't many mighty works because of their unbelief. When he came walking

On the water and ask Peter to come Peter was ok until fear crept in and caused

Unbelief, before Jesus Christ raised Lazarus from the dead nobody andI mean

Nobody believed he could do it that's why He said it loud enough father you always

Hear me then Lazarus come forth. He was crucified due to unbelief Israel's

Rejection of the messiah so again it's not a case of God allowing it's the conditions

That man's unbelief that he intercedes. If that's what you consider God's allowing

Because God works true to His word and the enemy manipulates for man's worship

God is working in the conditions that he knows for a time the enemy has tricked

the family he wanted man into working in. That's not allowing that is understanding conditions. Thank God by grace He stays true to His Word and

Commitment to having a family to love Him by freedom of will. We who are called

By Grace because it is impossible to put a price tag on eternal life! God Bless

Dear sisters & brothers: that i can see = there is only one way (and it is strongly positive) in which this passage can be accurately disected: literally !! and it all raises and falls on the phrase, "it shall come to pass in the last days, saith the lord ...." ( this .... is an extremely important qualifier as also are its rejoinders) " i will pour my spirit out upon all flesh, etc. " you may feel this is somewhat humorous, but it is solidly true = you notice specifically that the lord doesn't indicate a preference. (as in ,"i will pour my spirit only out upon 'the church of what's happenin' now,' thanks comedian flip wilson, and everyone else can just : forget it !! " no .....the lord clearly indicates it is ".....all flesh....."

Looking through the eyes of the disciples, you are introduced into a world much the same world we live in today.

A world of uncertainty, division, power of control. A world that Jesus spoke of , while these He has chosen hear Him, seeing the absolute truth's that would sanctify them, creating a heart and passion of the message that would go out into all the world!

Even so, Paul confirms the message of the preaching of the Cross! He does not bring anything else to the table, but the message of salvation, given through the Spirit to those whom trust and believe.

He does not mix a 40 minute message, He does not speak the wisdom of the world, but only that wisdom that comes from above! The preaching of the CROSS!

I have heard many who say the scripture is difficult to understand. These words spoken by these men! The words that must be mixed with faith!

A faith that is steadfast, a faith that must understand that growth is as Paul says , a feeding of the soul that requiring first the milk then the meat!

This message of the cross is a lifelong growing in a spirit given by Him, sanctifying us, slowly redeeming us, unto righteousness!

We are brought through the gate into the kingdom, He has done the work already! Jesus said, "believe in God!"

Planted in the good soil, watered with His words, we will grow thereby, into who He wants us to be! That we will spend eternity forever with Him! Jesus the Christ, the Savior of the World!

    Repent and be Baptized

Gianni's. Here's a question did God blame Adam and Eve for the downfall

Most wil say yes answer is no Gen:3:14 he blames serpent i.e.(Satan). Then

God says to Eve you will have labor bearing children and then to Adam because

You listened and hearkened or acted now cursed is the ground not due to Adams

Actions but due to who the new god of earth was , God lovingly was preparing and

Explaining the new conditions! All to protect and preserve for the coming of the

Messiah. So their punishment was due to their disbelief not the original will of

God. So all throughout God's word and His knowing the new conditions he kept

His Word to make sure His Will would be accomplishied by interceding when and

Where necessary but that was not the original intent. He is always dealing with

Man's unbelief being manipulated by the god of this world 2 Cor.4:4. Now if that

Is what your calling God allowing ok, but that's not the reality. That's why all of

Man's problems are due to worshipping other gods except the true God, the

Current climate conditions is not global warming it is due to man's unbelief and

Playing or thinking He's got it all figured out! It's strikes me as interesting when

Someone says God will do anything it's not true God can't lie and God will not

Do something outside of His Word because His Will or primary Goal is His Word.

I.E. Giver of life and more abundant! Jesus Christ!

    Hello Alex.

The foundation of our salvation, as you said, is God's grace, which is Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. As you also rightly said good works do not offer people salvation. But after we have been saved we have to follow a specific course that God asks us to follow, to obey God's commandements, the dos and the donts. We have to obey God's Will. Isn't it so?

But when obeying God's Will, we actually do someting, we do a work. Example. God asks us to help our brothers in need and we do that. This is a work, isn't it? It is a work of obedience (to God's Will). Now, the question is, does that kind of works (of obedience) save us or not. If the answer is no, which means that works (of obedience) have no effect in our salvation, then the opposite is also true. Which is, that a lack of these works (twhich means desobedience) have no effect in our salvation. Conclusion? I can do anything I want, always disobey God, live in sin (after been saved) and everything is OK. Salvation is secured anyway since it doesn't rely on my works (of obedience). I am on a course to Heaven. Does this sounds logical to you? To me, no it doesn't.

Why have we come to such a conclusion? Because we call acts of obedience to God's Will as man's works that do not save. Which is not what the scripture means when it is reffered to works (or for Jews works of Law).

Obeying God is essential for keeping salvation. The opposite is sin. And the wage of sinning is death. The wage of sin remains death, it doesn't change to anything else just because we were sometime saved by Jesus. It is still death.Of course God does not condemn us immediately, the judgement will be done after our death, but who knows when that time is going to come for each one of us? So we must always be ready to repent and correct our ways

Salvation is not unconditional. There is always a condition for it. To cooperate with God. And that word "cooperation" can mean many things, like accepting Jesus' sacrifice, obey God's Laws etc

Chris. Here's a question in Genesis did God allow Adam and Eve to sin or

Was it their unbelief and giving heed to the serpent i.e. Satan that caused man's

Downfall. What is believed had a lot to do with spiritual deliverance.

    Dear Aina

Jesus knew who Judas was but still loved him as He loves all people. This is our aim in life. To be like Jesus. And this is a struggle. It takes a whole lifetime (and effort) to love people like that. So my opinion is that if you can forgive and love while remembering, then this is the perfect. As long as something that happened is just a memory in your mind that doesn't create in your heart bad feelings. But if you can not forgive and love while remembering, then you'd better forget. And I thinkit is a lot easier to love when you forget. God will increase you in love and you will find out that these things become easier and easier as you progress in faith and get increased in the fruit of the Holly Spirit. But one has to know about bad things in somebody's character and avoid them if possible. Protecting youself from specific behaviors comes first.

    Dear Karleene.

If someone does not want to hear about Jesus and you keep insisting on it, the only result you will get is a bad reaction. So just keep praying and wait for the moment that your daughter will be open to such a discussion, and don't insist when she is not. Keep yourself in sanctification. Often people believe in Jesus not because they hear a terrific speech or see something supernatural, but they get impressed by one's pure and clean life. Also sometimes our children are more willing to hear a stranger (probably in their age) or a friend talking about faith than their parents. So somebody from your church could get to meet her? Ask God to give you somehow directions, if you are to do something specific. And wait, I don't think there is anything else you can do. I would also like to hear others about that, there are many christian parents who face the same problem.

    GBU
