God's Word and Jesus Christ and confess Romans 10:9+10 and not depend on
Portals or dreams or visions Unless they can be lined up with scripture and
Glorify God and bless you and there is no confusion in it. Where there is confusion
There is every evil work.
Thessalonians and the gospels but your choice it's all God's Word.

This expression proves more sinister than just describing intense heat that destroys. It also describes the elements breaking out into fiery heat similar to a spontaneous combustion.
Think of a person who suffers from an internal bodily fever, of which if left unchecked, untreated, and unabated, that sufferer will surely die.
Note, Apostle Peter did not identify the source of origin that results in this "fervent heat". From where, or from what does this heat generate? The description seems to suggest this heat builds up from an internal fever within the created physical elements which breaks out into a wild fire.
This is all very plausible, for GOD created all things consisting of molecules and atoms. Atoms constantly move, and their movement generates heat. The faster atoms move, the more intense the heat.
Such is the plan The LORD (v.9) has in store for the present heavens, elements, the earth, and all the works.
Thank you for sharing that. Yes, a need was met. Their debt was paid. I really cannot comment much on this other than to say that if God's Spirit persuaded them to place a wager to pay off a debt, and they obeyed that persuasion, then they did the right thing.
What I am seeing is that they had a need. They were in debt and they needed money to pay off their debt. I do like and agree with your previous post where you said "Here's the question if we are to believe God to supply all our needs through Jesus Christ then why gamble because God does not work by chance."
So, I must wonder, was there any other way they could have gotten themselves out of debt, other than gambling or placing a wager? Like you said, "Why gamble?" Then again, if that was the means God used to supply their need, then I have to say all is well.
There are so many ways we can look at the issue of gambling. But I think it all boils down to one thing. Is the Lord putting it on a person's heart to gamble? Is this something He would lead a believer to do? Adam has shared a link with several pieces of scripture which I do appreciate. I read through those verses shared and could not help but notice the word covetousness. To covet means to want more than you have, more than what the Lord has provided.
I think covetousness is sinful. So, why would someone want to gamble with their money? Is it because they want more money than what they have? I have gambled in the past. I gambled because I wanted more money than what I had. Was I not satisfied with what the Lord had given me? Could I have considered my gambling as a form of covetousness? By the definition, I would say yes. I gambled because I wanted more money. Isn't this the reason why anyone would gamble with their money? Was I being a good steward with what God gave me when I was gambling what He has provided me away?
Again, thanks for what you have shared. God Bless!
I am one of those newly born again Christian (just a baby Christian idiomatically speaking) and God has blessed me greatly. Today I want to help you also to the best that I can. I think your concern correlates to a very wonderful scripture in the Bible where it is obvious that Jesus really wants us to be specific in our prayers: see this verse:
Matthew 20:30-34 (KJV)
30 And behold , two blind mem sitting by the way side when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out saying, Have mercy on us O, Lord, thou son of David.
31 And the multitude rebuked them
because they should hold their peace; but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O, Lord, thou son of David.
32 And Jesus stood still. and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33 They say unto Him, Lord, that our eyes may be open
34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
I'll tell you: this week I have been desperately reaching out to Jesus in spirit, literally talking to him like a child to a father in my secret place , telling him everything ( what I feel, what I am worried about, what am anxious about, what I hate.. who I hate and then I repented... and so on.. I hide nothing because he knows my heart better than I. and I ask Him in detail all about this request.. to solve this problem that I thought almost insurmountable. HE JUST ANSWERED MY PRAYER LAST NIGHT. now I am so grateful and so free .. )
And also this verse I think will help : Philippians 4: 6-7
Praying for you too!
Then he talks about the fellowship in the gospel or like!indeed notice verse 9
The things he's talking about deal with the mind and heart increasing in their
Walk then he's dealing with in verses 15-17 the way in which the gospel is
Preached i.e. love of God via the spirit or the senses. His bottom line was Christ
Is preached, in the church of Phillipi there were different attitudes of thought
I.E. egos and natural practices being exhibited not walking in pure love.

I will share this info with my sons when I get the opportunity.
Conditions Gen.2 Before the fall sinless no broken fellowship, Genesis 3
After the fall in sin under the enemies dominion. Just an observation.
And like-minded in the gospel. There were divisions even between leaders
That was affecting the believers and making division. 1 Corinthians chapter 7
Deals with marriage whether Christian or not.
At work in him preparing him to rule his God's people. Everybody in the battle
Against Goliath had fear except David because he was walking with a pure
And simple heart. When he was staring Down Goliath and being cursed by
Him he said I come in the name of the Living God not even giving an ounce
Of thought what the outcome would be. We should walk in that kind of heart
And commitment.
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:9 That if thou Confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.
Acts 19:34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said, of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter if persons:
Acts 10:35 But in every nation here that feareth him and worker's righteousness is accepted with him.
Here is the conclusion.
John 3:17-19. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
HE THAT BELIEVETH ON HIM IS NOT CONDEMNED: ""BUT" HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
There is many that won't be saved because they seek another way.
Matthew 7:13-14. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:21-23. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Anyone that says otherwise beware of them.
Matthew 7:15. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
God bless.
