Dear friend in Jesus, you are so right, we will experience it in our time, I keep thinking. Watching the world and different countries choose sides. Ally with each other is quite terrifying. It will be like Gog and Magog.

You have previously recommended us as someone who can dig up our water wells so that we can have fresh water anyway. Everyone who has the opportunity should also get some animals that they can feed on, such as in barter and beyond. I actually think quite strongly about it. Soon it will be impossible, think of all the huge registered farms, none of them are allowed to sell privately. It won't be that many years, but a month is a long time if you don't have drink or something to eat. Then even a week is unbearable, or one day!

The whole world is prepared to meet this time. It is so visible now that even non-professing Christians can see The End.

And we are constantly busy with unreal things such as television, internet, data, cards of all kinds, and codes. Without your code, you won't get far. The other day I was going to do some shopping. And had confidence in my visa card and the beep service. haha no I couldn't. The machine probably knew I didn't remember the code. Then someone stands there (me) with a long face and understands that we are small in the whole big universe in which we live. So to put it bluntly, I will now never use the beep service. It is best to remember the code. Stay strong in the word an Jesus loves u, i in Christ.

Close your eyes, take a breathe, and ask the Comforter for wisdom and knowledge.

There is much speculation as to who these two individuals are but there is no need to guess. The two witnesses are Elijah from the Old Testament and John, the writer of Revelation, from the New. How do we know this? Because the Bible tells us.

Malachi 4:5 - Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD

Rev 10:11 - And he [an angel] said unto me [John], Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Dear "Fred Scanlan", Thanks for the nice introduction to being a Fisherman. It reminded me of the patience a Fisherman must have, go in, wait, patiently, come up with new tactics and sort of guide the fish into the net. Thanks again for there are some Big fish in the keel water here. (smiley) In Jesus name.

Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

As the years go by, I understand more and more God's plan, and see His work with us all. Even the sleaziest fish can turn around and come to the hook in the end. Where it looks closed in cloudy water, there may also be some gold grains. Who comes forth and gives great thanksgiving to our God. So really, all people can thank for the good God we have. So we fishermen must dress with more than patience, with peace, long-suffering, forgiveness yes! All Jesus' good gifts. Because all people are loved by God, therefore we must love one another. God bless you brother through thick and thin. Be strong in your word and share. The only harm it can do is for people to repent from dead works to faith, and belive in the Living Jesus Christ. Amen

Thank you Steve - you're very kind. Though getting to SoCal will be a problem as I live in Western Australia. My wife & I have many friends all over the States & particularly in Orange County where we used to base ourselves when visiting folk. These days though, our travels are very limited & our last visit to the States was just before Covid hit our respective shores. We have been so thankful to the Lord that He enabled us to get there at that time, or else we would have missed out on making that final visit.

But we do have regular contact with folk there, & even here, where the pastors of our small Fellowship are from the U.S., and we all enjoy the teaching & fellowship we share together in Christ. May the Lord bless you brother & your Church there.

The best way to view Adam and Eve's children, is to Google the GENEALOGY of them.

Be aware some names were popular and later people re-used the same name.

    Find a legible Chart.

Hi Joel. In Mark 3:28-30, we read, "Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit."

To blaspheme in its primary meaning, is to speak evil or irreverently about God. But in this passage in Mark, the Scribes attributed the Work of Jesus to being the work of Satan; that Jesus was casting out devils by Satan's power (which of course, doesn't make sense). So, Jesus brings out this Truth against them, that when God does a Work by His Spirit and someone says that it is a work of the Devil, then that person blasphemes or insults God's Holiness & Power - a grievous sin that cannot find forgiveness. That is why I am always careful to hold my thoughts & tongue if I am not able to discern by what spirit a particular work is being done or a particular manifestation is given. The end result of that work or manifestation must clearly be evil or against God's Word before anyone can give their judgement against it.

A few of Scriptures for you Yanan:

Proverbs 4:20-23, "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."

Isaiah 40:29-31, "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Only in the LORD God can we find our strength, our healing, our hope, our joy, and our peace. God will "keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Isaiah 26:3.

In Jesus name Amen! Rely on Him by reading daily, going to church or watching on internet (if you can't find one that is truly bible based) and He will help get you through anything. He is the strongest protection you'll ever get or ever need and will breakthrough any barrier satan and his minions throw your way.

I would say, then just do it, leave. Yet I know how hard it is to leave a toxic relationship without involving ppl your not sure you can trust, ending up in hospital or worse so best I can say is continue praying and let "God guide you Mary" yet after you pray, "listen". You will know when its from God and not someone else interfering or your own fears keeping her from moving at the moment it becomes a must. Pray:*Heavenly Father we thank you for your son Jesus, your forgiveness, your grace, Love and guidance. Lord I ask that you be with Mary in her time of need and free her of any fears causing her to be weaker than you made her to be. Lord if she is being considered unvalued, being belittled or whatever the case, Lord give her the courage, strength and confidence. Father I ask that you fill her with the strength of a legend of angles to do what is best comforting her every step of the way Lord. Give her peace, love and assurance she will need to be free of it weather that be to continue trying, you alone know her needs, or her getting out and away. As scary as it is now Lord please give her the wisdom to do the right thing and listen to you when you show her a way, as soon as it is shown. For hesitation can be more harmful. I pray these things for Mary in Jesus precious name Amen!*

    Exodus ch. 28

In this chapter God directs Moses in how to make the priestly garments of Aaron, the High Priest for the Israelites, and his sons, who were priests. Again, the instructions are very exacting and the garments contained intricacies. The garments were for beauty and honor for the high priest. I think of Jesus being clothed in majesty and power to whom all glory and honor and praise is given in worship. I think of how it is said that God wraps Himself in light and splendor. Certainly the High Priest would stand out among the people as very special and necessary for their relationship with YHWH. Jesus, too, stands out among all humans as absolutely special (incomparable worth) and is necessary for any human in one's relationship with God.

I looked up a few of the words that I did not recognize:

ouches were like buttons for fastening

mitre is a twisted length of linen that is wound around the head-like a turbin

girdle is like a sash or belt of linen

ephod is two pieces of cloth joined at the shoulders with the onyx stones fastened to the other piece.

the gold piece for the forehead was a type of crown and it said "Holiness to the Lord"

habergeon-a vestment of chain metal for protection and so that the ephod cannot be rent.

I think that there is probably much symbolism represented in the High Priest garments to represent our Lord Jesus.

What stands out to me is that these garments most likely represent Jesus' purity-fine linen; heavenly existence prior to the incarnation and after the ascension-blue in the cloth; His deity-gold in the cloth; His sovereign as King of King-purple in the cloth; and His Messiahship for Israel-scarlet in the cloth.

The preciousness of those Whom the Father gave to Jesus (believers) in the stones on the breastplate over the High Priest's heart.

The absolute Holiness of Jesus as being set apart from before the creation of the world to be our Savior to reconcile us back to the Father in the golden plate (crown).

Why are you subjecting yourself to them imposing dogmas telling you; (Touch not; taste not; handle not;Which all are for corruption with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

    Page 2.

The fact that the Bible was written by so many different men over such a long period of time and has a strong common thread running all the way through it, speaking of man's sinful condition & God's intervention to deal with it, should prompt him to think, 'maybe there's something to this.' Maybe, he's never read the Bible in that way, & just picked out some supposed problems/errors & concluded that everything about the Bible is false. But you state, 'his belief that the Bible is not the absolute Word of God'. So maybe, he accepts the Bible but also feels that other extra-biblical documents are also valid. Maybe you could expand, if you care to, on exactly where your husband's problem lies with the Bible.

In any case, be in much prayer for him, as I'm sure you are, & just trust the Lord for His Light to shine on him that will expose & remove that veil of darkness. The Lord's blessings & help upon you both, not just for God's Truth to be your joint personal possession but that by it, your marriage will also reflect God's Work of Peace & Love in your hearts. For it's only God's Word that can set us free & given by His Living Word, Jesus Christ.

Hello Bee V. Thank you for sharing all that is on your heart, especially your agony over your husband's spiritual state.

But to your first question: "What verses apply to a Christian wife who was a fornacator before she was married?" I'm assuming that the woman in question wasn't a believer at the time of her indiscretions. But even if she was a believer, almost all sin is forgivable when truly repented of & cast aside, as we read in 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." And as Paul & Barnabas urged the Gentiles to "turn from these vanities (sins of idolatry & false worship) & turn unto the living God" ( Acts 14:15). Forgiveness from God comes when we repent of our sins & purpose in our heart to turn from them.

And then to your husband, and particularly the state of his soul before God & his disbelief in the authority & veracity of the Scriptures. This is always a hard area to deal with as once a person has in his mind that something is false, then any proof given may well be rejected. However, I would base my discussion with him on: on what basis was he saved (just from a man's word, or from that word that originated from the Bible)? If he has doubts about the Bible, then he should have doubts about his salvation, the reality of God & Jesus, & in fact much of history of that time. Onto Page 2.

Hi Steve. 2 Timothy 2:15 is what you're referring to: "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

When looking at the original language of the New Testament, Greek, the word is 'orthotomeo'. And this is interpreted as, 'to cut straight, to handle correctly, to teach rightly'. So when we apply this meaning to a rather archaic form of English expression, we can understand that Paul is advising Timothy to 'be zealous to seek God's Approval, having no cause to be shamed, and correctly handling/understanding/teaching God's Word to others.' Apart from personal letters & verbal teaching by the apostles, the New Testament Church only had the Old Testament Scriptures to learn from - so Timothy was told to properly deal with God's Word in his pastoral duties.

Today, we have much more Scriptures than the early Church had, so we are even more responsible to preach & teach correctly from the whole Word of God. And to do this, we must first understand its message, comparing Scripture to Scripture, ascertaining the correct or common line of thought being given, and then sharing that Truth (whether in simple terms or deeper exposition), so that the Church might be taught, blessed, and built up in their love & faith. Why we get so many divergent beliefs & doctrines, is because people have departed from a correct understanding of Truth & often add their own opinions/perceptions to support a particular doctrine. The Bible tells us that teachers of God's Word will be under sterner judgement ( James 3:1).

    Hello J halli

To make long things short, the story goes like this:

Some faulse teachers from the Jews went to Galatia and tought christians there that they should keep ordinances and traditions from the Old Testament as well, if they wanted to be saved, like do not touch, eat, or handle specific things (as well as many other rules). Paul in his letter to Galatians dismisses those beliefs and urges believers to return back to the original true teachings that were given by him in the begining.

Yes Laura, that is correct. You can read this account in Daniel chapter 3. But when you go to Daniel chapter 6, you'll find that even Daniel wasn't spared; when Daniel was found praying to God in disobedience to the King's decree to not look to any god but to the king. Daniel, of course as you know, was thrown into the den of lions. And just as was done to the other three friends/associates of Daniel, Daniel too was spared death because these all these men fully trusted in the true God to deliver them if He chose to. And certainly, King Nebuchanezzar learnt that there was no other god, but the God of Heaven & Earth.

It's called the 6th day creation, when God created MANKIND, all the races male and female, and saw that it was good!

Genesis 1:26 And God said,"Let Us make (mankind) in the likeness of Our image: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea,and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

God ended His work of creating the 2nd Heaven and Earth age on the 6th day. He then sanctified the 7th and theN FORMED

manADAM on the 8th, Genesis 2:7 a Potter to till the ground, He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life(soul)and manAdam became a living soul.

The dinosaurs are what plenished the earth in the first age before God destroyed it.
