Exodus Ch. 26

In this chapter, the tabernacle is described in detail, from the curtains, to the pillars, to the hooks and fasteners, to the wood overlayed in gold or brass, to the brazen altar for sacrifice, to the roof of skins, to the veil before the Holy of Holies. There were a lot of specific measurements concerning the tabernacle. God was exacting in his requirements since the tabernacle was a representation of what was true in heaven.

For me, what stood out was the care that was taken about making the tabernacle enclosure somewhat impenetrable except when one went through the front entrance. There is only one way to the presence of God, that is through the body and blood of Jesus Christ, the door. No other way is possible to come into the presence of the Godhead.

Also, once inside the tabernacle, there was an outer court and an inner court which was curtained off. Inside this Holy of Holies was the ark where the presence of God was manifested to the high priest only, once a year. This reminds us that it is Jesus only who can stand before the Father, who dwells in impenetrable light. Jesus is worthy to stand before the Father and live, not us. He is the Mediator between God and man, He alone. No other being can reconcile us to God nor bring needs and prayers. Jesus is our intercessor before the Father. All of our prayers and requests go through Jesus to the Father. That is why Jesus told us that our requests will be answered by the Father in the name of Jesus. ( John 16:23) In Hebrews it says that because the curtain was torn in two between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies, giving us entrance to the Presence of the Father, however the curtain is Jesus body, sacrificed on the cross for us. So, if we are ever to stand before the Father, it will always be with Jesus, not on our own, and it is because we are "in" Him that we can be brought into the Father's presence.

We shall see how this goes when we get to heaven and possess all of our inheritance.

I didn't grow up in church, I never fully heard the gospel until I was 29. Nobody ever told me about Jesus. As kids we would ride the church bus to Sunday school every now and then but I didn't understand it and it never stuck. None of my family went to church so I didn't think it was important. I remember a family friend invited some of us to a church when I was a teenager and people were going up to the altar during the songs that were sang. I didn't understand what they were doing but a feeling came over me that I had never felt before and I started crying. I didn't think much about it after that day though. I lived a homosexual lifestyle for 11 years thinking that was who I was. Just about everybody accepted me for it, there was only ever one person that told me I was living wrong but I didn't want to hear it at the time. Looking back on it now it was just one of the many seeds that had been planted for me. I was a pill head, a pot head, a drunk, I did mushrooms, inhaled air duster and I even inhaled freon once. I had terrible anxiety with panic attacks. I would hurt myself or do drugs to feel anything other than reality. I've been to jail. I started getting tattoos to cover up some of the scars and it was a kind of an alternative self inflicted pain. I was invited to a local church and I felt that same feeling that I had felt at the other church I went to that one time years ago. I hadn't felt it since then and without really thinking about it I got up and went to the altar. I got saved that day, June 28, 2020 at 29 years old. It's been 2 years and I go to church twice a week, I read the Bible almost daily, I got baptized, I married my best friend who I've known for 14 years on June 19, 2021 and he's the only man I've ever been with, God blessed us with a beautiful baby girl 6 weeks ago and I've been sober for almost a year now. I'm living a life I never thought possible and all the glory goes to God.

I've read your answers and I see how you understand some scriptures and since it seems that we see things differently, I will make a summary of what we agree with and of what we disagree.

It seems that we agree that a man who was saved by God's grace may sometimes, for his own (bad) reasons, change course and return to his original sinful life with all those consequences that accompany such an action. One may as well stay in the church but live in a sinful condition, that is he doesn't want to correct some things he does wrongly.

God uses any way His wisdom chooses to bring that child of His back, often by permitting hard situations to go through one's life or even permits satan to "distruct" them to a specific extend, or even He Himself "punishes" His children for a good purpose.

And it is here where our disagreement begins from, if I get it right. In my opinion you don't consider that God is powerless in front of some situations, He is actually powerless in front of man's free will, He can not violate it, He can not force people to do something they don't want to do. He works in many different ways, He makes all sort of efforts, He uses any possible way, to make people repent and return back even in the last minute of their lives. But those efforts do not always succeed not because God is not capable of but because man does not cooperate with Him, does not obey, does not repent, keeps his heart hard as stone.

God's will is that all people get saved, but not all will be saved. His Will stops infront of man's will. This is what His righteouness says to Him. There is always a condition for people to get and keep salvation. Their cooperation with God

Your belief is that finally God always succeeds in His efforts to bring His children back into repentance. But I think that there are many examples in both NT and OT that show us (in my opinion) that the opposite may sometimes happen.

Heavenly Father, we lift up Lillian's brother before You and ask, in the name of Jesus, that You will bring him to salvation soon and create him anew by the power of Your most Holy Spirit. We know that salvation only comes from You, God-You are the only Savior for any person. Work mightily in this brother's life to regenerate him, place faith within him, cover him with Your mercy and grace, and keep him ever in the faith. Heavenly Father, we know that You know all things and are totally aware of Gianna and her troubles. Please, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, help Gianna today to be well and safe. Bring swift improvement to her in all areas that are troubling her. Fill her with Your joy and hope. Deliver her from the snares of the evil one and restore all that he has taken from her. Heavenly Father, we ask that You intervene in Perry's court case and deliver him from a harsh sentence. We ask that You bring Perry to repentance and straighten him out to be one who follows the laws instead of breaking them. We ask that this will be the only offense he ever makes for the rest of his life. Have him learn well from this poor, sinful choice and turn himself around through Your help and guidance. Heavenly Father, give ear to E. call to You as she and her grandchildren are under so much duress on many fronts. I especially ask that You protect these children from the abuse of their own mother and that you cause this mom to halt this behavior and come to her senses in belief in Your Son, Jesus, who died for her to free her from sinful habits. In the name of Jesus, we speak to that which holds this mother in this habit and say, "In the name of Jesus and by His blood, we command you to release this mother from the habit you sowed in her. You are overcome by the blood of Jesus and cannot continue to hold her in this habit any longer. Be gone and never return because Jesus and His shed blood conquered you and you must release her and leave her. Amen.

Most definitely praying for Brenda and her situation. God is amazing and loves us so. I am trusting that He will come through for Brenda and her family quickly. May He move mountains for her today.

Hi mishael! Got your reply stating you'd like me to do bible discussions, I guess instead of prayer requests!! I write prayers for sometimes it's easier for me to write how I feel about things then saying them out loud or in my closet to my Lord Jesus, my Savior!!! So many things need to be done in my and my families lives, I could never explain them all in a lifetime!! When the Lord's second coming arrives, then all things with be as they should be, without sin, anger, death will be swallowed up in victory as the Lord says it should be!!! Dear Nelson, I think Mishael has given you good counsel here by suggesting that you concentrate on reading the N.T.

The more you fill yourself up with the truth of God's Word, the stronger you will become to resist the temptations that the evil one brings to us relentlessly. We can overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and by His the Word of His testimony (covenant of blood sacrifice on Calvary-our Redeemer's gracious work on our behalf).

Keep in the Word, pray often with sincerity and honesty, and walk by faith.

I sense that you are not asking about the created universe, physical creatures, and the spiritual realm of angels (holy and fallen). The Scriptures are clear that all of these exist because God created them all. As to whether outside of what He created, does anything exist along with God in that realm. I will say, absolutely not. Before creation, God IS-always has and always will. He, as a Godhead of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have always existed independently of any created thing or being. There is no other God besides this Godhead. The Scriptures state in many places that God is the solitary, unique, and self existent. He does not draw anything from outside Himself to exist or have power our possess knowledge. He cannot gain anything into his essence from outside Himself. He is totally self-sufficient.

If you are asking if there are any other created beings in the universe besides humans, angels, and earthy animals, I would say that we just really do not know, as the universe is immense beyond measure and finding out. We will know this in eternity.

You can seek on this site Scriptures that state that there is only one God or research on other sites this topic.
