Dear AP. I will pray for Darrell.

    Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up Darrell to You today and ask that You will send Your Spirit with mercy and grace to bring Darrell to faith and salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son. Bring the gospel to Darrel's hearing and cause it to be effective and powerful to move Darrell to believe and repent of his sinful estate before You. Keep him from hardening his heart against You, but instead, soften it and prepare his heart to receive the gospel and call upon You in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You, Father, that we can come to You and pray for those who need to be saved. We trust that You hear us and will answer our prayers as Your Son promised You would in His name. Amen.

    True, Marilyn,

But also our Lord promised that the Spirit will teach us in all truth. He will increase our knowledge of Him and of His ways. Paul blessed believers by requesting from God that they will grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We can never know more that the Godhead. We are but creatures. But we can grow more knowledgeable and that is desirable to do. As infants, there is a strong desire to learn and discover which God placed in our nature. We continue to do this all of our life. There really is no excuse to remain unknowing or ignorant in the presence of opportunities to learn and grow and increase in knowledge and wisdom. We are to use the abilities and faculties of our minds to honor God and bless others.

I have researched the migration of peoples from the three sons of Noah, and it is believed that the descendants of Japheth migrated to Europe and peoples the lands there. Over the centuries, some from the tribes of Israel (including Jews) migrated north from Assyria and Babylon during the captivity and settled in Asia Minor, the Caucasus region, and north and west of that area. Also, the Israelites (including Jews) migrated to Greece, Italy, Spain, and northern Africa (around the Mediterranean shores) over the centuries after that, especially after A.D. 70 and the destruction of Jerusalem. And some of the people descended from Ham also migrated across the Mediteranean regions to the north. So, Europe was peopled by descendants of all three of Noah's children as they were scattered across the earth after the Tower of Babel.

Many descendants of Ham migrated eastward and southward and settles Ethiopia, Egypt, and sub-Sahara Africa, India, and the far east. Some of the descendants of Japheth also migrated north and eastward and settled Russia, Mongolia. Shemites mostly stayed in the Mesopotamian/Canaan/Arabia area, but some did migrate outward from this area.

Olga, yes Acts 2:38 is correct. Matthew 28:19 does say "in the name of". That name is Jesus. Test we see not one person was water baptized in the book of Acts in titles. And in John 3:3-5 Jesus said water & the Spirit are needed to enter into the kingdom of God. So many don't even think water baptism is needed when it's clearly all thru the New Testament bible. So many scriptures. Thank you for obeying the Lord Jesus. Blessings to you

I think that some of Abraham's reason for lying about Sarah was due to his understanding of the promise God had made to him about multiplying his seed. So he must have thought it was best lie rather than die (which would have cut off the fulfillment of the promise God made to Abraham). God did not make a promise to Sarah, but to Abraham. So it was through his seed that nations would be blessed.

Thank you brother Jesse. Jesus fulfilled His appointment perfectly by His position & attitude of servitude to all, so that we might learn from His example. Philippians 2:7; Matthew 23:11.

No we don't need to wash any bodies feet....But Jesus wanted to show folks what his words does to our hearts....Satan had entered the heart of Judas to betray him....Not his feet but Jesus washed their feet....He was trying to show them what his Words does to our hearts.....An old friend who eats at my table has lifted up his Heel ( our hearts.) against me....But Judas neva did assault Jesus with his feet or Heel...Judas assualted Jesus with his heart....Its our hearts that defiles us as Jesus had said....Satan had entered the heart of Judas to betray him.....Thus when Jesus washed their feet it was a Hearts Washing....Its the things that came from the heart of a man that defiles him....Not our personal hygiene...Our feet or hands....Jesus had said to eat with unwashed hands defileth not a man...Its our hearts that defiles us....But Jesus did everything in metaphors trying to hide it....Everything was hid from the wise and prudent but revealed unto babes...The babes and sucklings he mentions.

......Jesus cd not wash their literal hearts or minds ...But b/c of what is written in Psalms 41:9...An OLD FRIEND that eats at my table has lifted up his HEEL against me....He washed their feet ( Heel )...To show them what the Word, His Blood does to our hearts and minds you are made clean by the Word i have spoken unto you....Jesus knew that all of his disciples had been water baptised but he still had to wash their feet....Which speaks volumes of a greater baptism coming of his Blood....That New COVENANT...As Jesus was the living Word made flesh and blood....That New Covenant in his blood that will make us all clean Internally...our hearts and minds....And we are gonna speak the cleansing word to anybody that needs spritual cleansing....We should plead the blood on everybody that needs spritual cleansing.....But we don't need to wash any bodies feet with h20 ....We need to wash their hearts....Giving them a new heart a new spirit....With his Words...The BLOOD..THE BOOK..GB

    Hi Leslie.

I concur with Richard, This period will be during the Millennium reign of Christ. This is a literal reign here on earth.

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

    Isaiah 11:9

    God bless.

    Micha van Wyk,

There are denominations, (plural), that have foot washing instituted into their church. Some do it every Sunday under the belief that Jesus instituted it here in John Chapter 12 for the church to do. But it was a custom in those days. Not as a ceremony, but it was a custom as people traveled because there were dirt roads and people wore sandals. And when people came into your home, you as the host would have one of your household slaves sit down and wash that person's feet, dry them, and put their sandals back on for them, getting them ready for the visit and just to get the dirt off of their feet.

This was a custom. It was not a ceremony. Jesus was not instituting foot washing for the church as a ceremony. It was an example of service and how His people should serve Him. What was the example that He was setting? If you notice, Jesus was the one doing the foot washing, the task that was given only to a slave to do. History tells us that the household slaves did the job of foot washing, but not a Hebrew or Jewish person. Even if a Hebrew or Jewish person was a slave, they did not lower themselves to wash someone's feet.

Peter said to Jesus, "Thou shalt never wash my feet." Peter is not trying to be rebellious. He is trying to be courteous in the sense that no Jew should be washing anyone's feet! But Jesus Himself, the Master, the Rabbi is doing it? Peter says "You are never going to wash my feet." Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

The first indicator is in Verse 7, that what I'm doing up to now you don't know. Well, they knew what He was doing as far as the activity is concerned, but they didn't understand it. The second indicator to us is that Jesus is not talking about the custom of foot washing. He's talking about something that has to do with a personal relationship with Him. He is telling them that there is another message here. He says that if you do not let me wash your feet, you have no part with me.

    Adam Young,

Romans 12:20 comes from Proverbs 25:21-22. Romans 12:9-21 should be taken together and this section has to do with participation in our interaction with others. It gives us 13 precepts of love. The principle is given to us in Romans 12:9 which says, let love be without dissimulation. What in the world is that?

First of all, notice that the word "Let" is in italics. So we can scratch that. There's no command here. And the word dissimulation is the old English word for hypocrisy. There are only three words here, Love without hypocrisy. That's all it says. It's a statement of fact. Love is without hypocrisy.

And the Greek word for hypocrisy (HUPOCRISIS) is a word for an actor who is speaking according to the script. So, love doesn't have hypocrisy in it at all. There's no acting in love. You're either the real thing or you're not. You either have Christ in you or you don't. Love, (Agape love) is without hypocrisy. There's no acting. It's the real thing!

So when you get down to Romans 12:20, it says, "Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head."

Have you ever had an enemy, someone that just hated you, maybe in school? And every time they needed something, can you imagine what their reaction would be when every time they needed something, you helped them out! They say, "Yeah, but I can't stand you and I treat you terrible every time I see you." But you say, That's okay! Do you need some water?" You can just see the steam from the coals!

Esau is the progenitor of the European race.

Esau is the enemy of Judah and always hated, harassed and despise his brother Jacob to this day.. and until TMH returns. The remnants of the children of Israel is currently in captivity, especially in the USA, Caribbean, central and South America.

Why was it ok for Abram to lie and be deceitful to the Egyptians when that is wrong.
  • Adam Young on Romans 12:21 - 3 years ago
    Reference Romans 12: 20b

It seems the "heap coals of fire on his head" means to get someone's attention. In this way, your actions have gotten an enemy's attention with the possibility of a positive and beneficial outcome. Just seems like and old saying or proverb like hope for the best, prepare for the worst or the devil is a squirrel. (German saying about squirrel.)
