Hello, my name is John. On May 6, 2018 my son was murdered. Devistated me. On July 14, 2018 I got baptised in the name of Jesus Christ. On June 26,2019 I heard a voice that told me to start my christian life over. Everything i grew up learning as a Christian i threw it out the window, just stop acting and being religious.

The voice said "start reading the bible in a different way" I tried to ignore what i was hearing, and it said it again "Start reading the bible in a different way" and I ask, "what kind of way?" and the voice said "Just 1 page a day, 3 times a day."

The voice gave me the books to read, it started with the book of Job, just one page a day until i was done and it would tell me the next book, and the next book and the next book.

Today it's been 3.5 years and have not stopped reading this way. I've learn so much about God reading this way that all the years i have being in church, going to bible studies and sunday school.

Today I'm in the book of John. I go back and forth between the new Testimate and the Old Testimate. And I'm understanding the flow of God, God's will, God's love, God's anger.

It took the greif from my broken heart of loosing my only son to Chicago gun violance.

6 chapter of John was a hard read. Not understanding what Jesus meant by eating of the flesh and drinking his blood.

Cain's works in the field did not show where His offering was to God. When God cast man out, they were to work by the sweat of their brow. Cain shows that this was his worldly commission. When it came to the sacrifices, Abel offered humble and acceptable. Cain offered the leftovers so to say (it was unacceptable). To add to that, when his offering was rejected...he offers a blood sacrifice of his own brother. God never needs a reason to judge anyone or anything because of His divine authority. In this case, we see plenty reason here that Cain should have been cast out.

This was such a great undertaking that happened here in Exodus. I've been reading it over a few times over the past couple years and in my finite mind...it amazes me how the tabernacle or even the arc of the covenant had been constructed. No human architect has ever used such blueprints. Amen.

    Hey GiGi,

Nice to hear from you. I do not deny the divinity of Jesus. I have never heard it put that way, the Genesis of all things. I'm sure your students loved you. I will say this without a ton of scripture, in my heart, I feel if I say Jesus is God, I will be denying the Son. My understanding is it is God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior, 1 John 2:23. I know you believe differently but I hope that makes sense. May we discuss another subject one day? I pray your walking is improving each day.

    God bless,

    Soul sleep debunked part 2.

There are some who mention the fact that we have passed from death to life ( 1 John 3:14); and other verses justifying that we have already experienced the "first resurrection". This; again is an eschatological attempt at justifying that there is no Millennial period (i.e. the church age fulfills all the prophecies); which is not the focus of analysis here.

There is validity in seeing the basic principle of Genesis 2:17 and its repercussions. Clearly; there was immediate spiritual death that occurred; and a later physical death that resulted from the ensuing corruption to the flesh that the fall set in motion. For a believer; we are sealed until the day of redemption ( Ephesians 4:30). He promises never to "leave or foresake us" ( Deut. 31:8; Hebrews 13:5).

We have a great "cloud of witnesses" ( Heb. 12:1-2) that are further described in the chapter. We have a High Priest now that ever intercedes ( Heb. 7:25 and other verses in that book). The basic idea here is that we are always "married to Christ" ( Romans 7:4). Because of these promises; we see that our physical resurrection si merely a process; simply in reverse of what happened in the garden. Our glorification is simply a done deal in God's mind after salvation along with sanctification ( Romans 8:30). In God's eyes; we were known from eternity and part of His plan ( Genesis 3:15). Therefore; it is all grace that saved Adam's helpless race.

Please Lord God heal William of this affliction. Please open the doctor's eyes on his case to find the cause. Please Holy Spirit enrich William with guidance in biblical scriptures that will comfort him and bring in to closer relationship with You The Divine God Head I pray in the name of Jesus Christ!

Please consider reflecting on these scriptures: 2 Corinthians 12: 7-10, Psalms 46:1-2, John 16:33, Matthew 6:33-34, Psalms 121, Psalms 91.

    Soul sleep; the big lie.

1 Thessalonians 4:14 to the end of the chapter and 1 Thessalonians 5:10 make it clear; along with other verses that when the body sleeps; the spirit lives on. The question is; of course if His Spirit "testifies with our spirit ( Romans 8:16) that we are God's children." If not; then truly we are spiritually "dead" as it were; which means absent from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and hence forever trapped in our sinful nature. He has put "eternity in the hearts of men" ( Ecclesiastes 3:11). Hebrews 9:27 also makes it pretty clear that we face judgment after death. That will determine where we spend the interim period through the Millennial reign and make the "first resurrection" ( Rev. 20:6) or remains until the Great White Throne judgment. There are; apparently phases to the firstfruits which Christ Himself initiated; then some who came out of their graves AFTER the Resurrection; then those alive at His coming when the saints are Resurrected and finally the Resurrection of those who were martyred in the Tribulation. I will leave this detailed eschatology to other posts.

I already stated elsewhere where the word "qeber" is referring to the bodily state of "sleep" or death in the grave; and when "sheol" the land of the souls of all in the O.T. (now only just for the wicked) exists. Now; to be "absent from the body is present with the Lord ( 2 Cor. 5:6). The bigger question is WHY people want to hold to this "soul sleep" or nonexistence mentality. Part of it can be not dividing the Word properly ( 1 Tim. 2:15); or 2 Peter 3:16 where unstable people twist scripture to their own destruction. If someone knows they are in sin; and remains unrepentant in their hearts it is easy to follow this mindset so that there can be space before judgment. ( Ecclesiastes 8:11; Psalm 73:17). He is not the God of the dead but the living ( Mark 12:27). Hence; we are already "seated in heavenly places" ( Ephesians 2:6).

My point being as in our own lives it's let Go and let God, that being said I

Understand your position concerning fight the good fight . It's interesting to

Me that in phillipians 4:9 Paul said basically duplicate what I do and we know

He spoke in tongues and Jesus Christ called Him to be the example in this the age of grace

But people don't believe it's available although that's not written so again

Unbelief hasn't changed neither had God's Word people do. So just sharing heart

Because most Churches are infiltrated "by" the erroneous, and either misinterpret, or don't understand it, and are most likely of the belief that women should be silent in church; when in fact the seven women in the verse "In that day" are God's Elect; In that day i.e day of Judgement, the Tribulation. Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God

Hey Mark GBU... Lemme give ya my understanding on the 4 winds its simply all the world....North South East AND WEST....Jesus said the Wind is symbolic of his spirit his words that cannot be seen but only heard...

...... Joel 2:28 I will pour out of my SPIRIT ( the wind of God ) on all flesh....And your sons and daughters shall prophesy....All flesh is all the world North South East and West....And his spirit is the wind of God to all parts of the world

......On the day of Pentacost that mighty rushing wind was blowing on folks from every nation all the world which was the H.G.....Which was the Promise of his Father....Baptism of the H.G....Behold the Promise of my Father...which was that mighty rushing WIND that filled the house...He makes his son to shine to the good and the bad...and his rain to fall on all the world.

And the 4 gospels are filled with the Blood of the lamb the Cross and his words and he says my words are spirit and life....The wind of God which is the H.G. GODS ELECT.

......And he breathe on them and they received the H.G. His breath was the wind of God....Just as God breathe the breath of life in humanity.

......We were all born by the will of some man.... its only the H.G. that Child of Promise that is born by the will of God in us....Thus its only the H.G. that is the Child of PROMISE THE ELECT.....Which is our new heart and new spirit the mind of Christ.. Romans 9 :8-17 kjv

    Jeremiah 49:36

And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.

    Revelation 7:1

And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

    Zechariah 2:6

Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

    Matthew 24:31

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

    Mark 13:27

And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

In Job 1 we see that Satan can cause destructive winds that kill people, animals and communities.

Also that God owns the storehouses of Rain, Snow and Hail.

Matthew 19:9 (KJV) And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

I am of the Pentecostal faith. I'm trying to obtain a clearer understanding from this verse. My understanding is God will grant you a divorce and allow you to remarry only if your formal spouse committed fornication. Please correct me with an explanation if I'm incorrect.

Furthermore, the earth will no longer conceal its dead ( Isaiah 26:21). The souls of those countless millions of aborted babies; all those who have died of the O.T. and New Testament saints will finally live life to the fullest. I see the Temple as being a reminder on earth in the 1000 year reign of Christ as to what He did; and we should remember that the food will be part of the bountiful harvest of grain and fish at that time as well ( Ezekiel 47:8-9 which BTW already is starting to develop with fresh water inflow where fish have been seen in recent years). There will be ceremonial cleanness needed because those who are still in mortal bodies having children at that time will not be able to stand in God's presence at that time; or around those of us who will be ruling and reigning at that time. It is clear that there is a Millenium because of verses such as Isaiah 65:20 and Zech. 14:18 where rebellion brings swift retribution and or early death. Justice will finally cover the earth as the waters of the sea ( Isaiah 11:9). This is exciting news!

Yes; I agree the Mercy Seat needs to be remembered; as to His mercy on our souls. We also stand in a dispensation when we are blessed if we don't see Him with certain promises and giftings and rewards which are unique and better in some ways than they will be when people CAN see Him. Still; to be able to finally have fellowship on this earth and then in eternity without all these "momentary afflictions" ( 2 Cor. 4:17) will be really great. Either Paul had something SERIOUSLY wrong with him; or glory is beyond belief. We can look at this knowing we will not have to face hell or the judgments about to hit the earth. The Tribulation must come first. Even for us (at least for me) this future hope is still the only thing that gets me through the thick darkness already strangling much of this world. Better a doorkeeper in His house ( Psalm 84:10) than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

    Agape; RIch P
