    Texsis,

There are a number of people on here who are parents of children who have gone astray from God. I am one of them. It is hard to see this happen and we so desire for them to return to God and repent towards belief again. I am so glad that your son has turned from following the devil and has repented. That is very wonderful. I continue to pray and wait for my three sons to do this. I will pray for your son tonight.

Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up Texsis' son tonight and ask that You cause him to seek you heartily and begin to hunger for Your words of life in Scripture. I ask You to take away every speck of devilish influence from him and fill him to overflowing with your Holy Spirit. I ask that You will increase his faith and trust in You and Your Son, Jesus. I ask that You will create him to be a strong, devoted, Christian believer who never strays from You again and is used of You to share the gospel of Jesus with others. I ask that You will bring him to ask questions of his Mom concerning spiritual matters so that he can learn more about You and Your ways. I ask these of You, Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, Amen.

I was always taught that we are not robots but that we have free will. That God doesn't just push a button and we respond. Well, in chapter 5 it says that when the Lamb takes the book out of the hand of the Father all heaven AND earth give praise at that time. Well, if one is here upon earth at that time, and not being all robots, what will motivate that response? I believe that the same trumpet sound that John the Revelator heard, and the thunder and lightning that followed when that very scene was revealed to him will be heard and seen by those here on earth at that time. The trumpet sound will bring all safely to a halt and then that scene will be revealed in real time and those on earth will witness Jesus taking the book out of the hand of the Father and opening the first seal and thus motivated to respond with the praise mentioned. Thus, there will be if you will an official beginning of the Tribulation. Those on earth will KNOW it has started.

Notice that what is worshipped in ch. 13 is the image of a seven headed and ten horned beast referenced in verse one. Not a devil incarnated man! It could well be that the last verse of this chapter is saying that the number of the beast is simply a number that was developed by a man. And nowhere in this chapter or in the whole book of the Revelation is the beast referred to, described, or worshipped as an incarnated devil-man. My speculation is that the beast is the devil behind pagan idol republic and the great whore that rides the beast are the banksters that control the republics that control the world.

    Hi Joy.

    I concur with Richard.

And I would like to add to what he said concerning Ephesus. Paul gave them warning concerning the trouble coming after his departure in Acts 20:29-30.

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

    God bless.

    Hi Nancy.

Daniel 12:11 is giving what is to take place the middle of the 70rh week of Daniel known as the Great Tribulation.

Jesus this as well in Mat 24:14-15. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) This is when the antichrist set up a Idol to be worshipped in the temple.

Let us know if this helps

    God bless

    God's word's:

Romans 3:3 For WHAT IF some do not believe? shall there UNBELIEF make the faith of God without effect?

    What if, is a QUESTION.

If you study God's Word you will find God asking thousand of QUESTION.

Those scriptures end with a QUESTION MARK.

Go look, God wants you to know the answers to those QUESTIONS.

    God Bless YOU.

    Hi Looking Up,

Are we not taught to go out and share The Gospel? The purpose being the Holy Spirit speaking through us God's Love, and forgiveness leading towards salvation. In this sense we should be considered as playing a part in it.

In Philippians 2:6-8 :"Who, being in the form of God," (Spirit), "and took upon him the form of a servant,", and "being found in fashion as a man,".

Check out Mark 16:10,12,14. , written in the KJV that He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, He appeared in another form unto two of them, and afterward He appeared unto the eleven.

As you, there's much I don't understand either. Yet I'm perceiving by these passages that Jesus appeared as a man; flesh and blood with a body that functions and bleeds as we all do. Jesus' reality is Spirit, one with God because God is Spirit. God is Love . Love creates Itself and nothing but Itself.

    Peace my friend.

    God Is

It is clear that after these 144,000 are marked; that they are not affected by the remaining seal and trumpet judgments before they are taken up to heaven. ( Rev. 14:1). Since they are standing on Mt. Sion (the spiritual true Mt. Zion in heaven) as opposed to the martyrs under the throne apparently awaiting resurrection bodies ( Rev. 6:9-11) it would appear that they are as the scripture indicates taken to heaven as "redeemed" firstfruits ( Rev. 14:2-4). So therefore; it appears that they are raptured; as firstfruits would include O.T. saints (some of which came out of the grave after the Resurrection of Christ; and the church possibly also including the rest of the godly O.T. saints at different intervals). It would certainly appear with their sealing that it could encompass not dying but I'm not sure that can be proven from that verse. In theory; it is even possible that they could be like the 2 prophets who die and are resurrected about the same time (that could I suppose mean they are all killed at one time and subsequently resurrected rather than raptured). That's the only possibility I see.

It is rather controversial the timing of the O.T. saints (which in the book of Daniel seems to occur around the midpoint of the Trib) and that of the whole true believing church (which occurs in conjunction and immediately preceeding the Rapture as I see it). Again; we do have Enoch and Elijah who were taken out of this world; although it appears Elijah has been preserved and never given a Resurrected Body; and perhaps if Enoch is the second witness according to the Hebrews 9:27 principle he also was preserved; but possibly he was raptured. And the saints coming out of the graves was the beginning of a series of events between the Resurrection (Christ being first of firstfruits) and the rest of the firstfruits such as the 144,000.

That's my best take on it; remember most will die in the Trib; a few will survive physically until and through the 1000 years.

    Walter:

What if there is not a COLLECTIVE rapture of the church?

Isaiah 27:12 ....and ye shall be gathered ONE by ONE, ye children of Israel.

What if the 144,000 (symbolic, not literal) are the Old Testament Saints that were resurrected with Christ?

Matthew 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose.

    God Bless you.

Donna, I am sorry you are feeling discouraged and that your health has brought you low.

I will pray for you now.

Dear Heavenly Father, Donna is in need of Your loving touch and help. Please bring quick healing to her body and renew her mind to see how You are working in her life despite being discouraged. Help her in her unbelief and bring her to trust you more and more. We ask that you continue to help her son, Daniel, recover from addiction and her sister, Tasha, recover from cancer. Bring joy into the heart of Donna today and peace from Your Spirit that lives within her always. We ask this of You in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen.

    Dear Ronald Whittenhouse,

I appreciate your last post, but it seems that the ability to reply on that thread has been closed down. Perhaps that is for the best.

I am glad clarified your position on this topic so well. Thank you. This site is a blessing, I agree. And there are topics that resurface again and again and people can have very strong and passionate positions and concerns about some of these topics. I think that is fine. Some people can handle a vigorous discussion better than others. Others are more sensitive and get offended or intimidated more easily. My hope is that each person will speak up for themselves concerning how a discussion may impact them so that we can begin to understand one another better and gauge our responses better.

You have done a very good job in your posts. I love to read what you post because it is very reasoned and carefully worded. Keep up the good work. We need each other and God has drawn each of us to this site for a good purpose.
