1 st Peter 1 : 23 KJV. Peter is telling us how to be bornagain but no water is mentioned. As Calvary the Cross is a blood

Covenant thus this baptism of Promise is a birthing covenant As the Woman in Rev 12 : 5 is giving birth to a baby Christ

the very best example of the New Birth a Blood covenant via a seed which is the Living word...Her Child is the H.G.

The Child of Promise As the Kingdom comes with her Child Rev. 12 : 5 Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil

you will in no wise enter there in . And her Child which is the H.G. is who comes in the name of the LORD. Remember

whosoever receives one such Child in MY NAME receives ME..As Jesus said the Father will send the H.G. in my NAME.

Thus Christ is truly the Father of the H.G....When Jesus said he will come in my name means its by Jesus seed the Word

Thats y he has to know us as his seed is the living word....The Woman and her Child answers to the Donkey and her

Colt, Remember when Jesus rode the Donkey and her COLT ...They all cried blessed is he that comes in the Name of the

Lord...My point is this Woman and her Child is the result of the SOWER AND HIS PRECIOUS SEED THE WORDS OF GOD

After the woman gives birth Rev 12 :10 says Now is come Salvation and the Kingdom of our God and the power of his

Christ ( The womans Child is our new innerman that Child of Promise the H.G. The Kingdom within us VIA HIS GOOD

Seed the words of the book in the FATHERS RIGHT HAND....That new covenant by his blood, the CROSS.

Catherine Gordon With the subject of speaking in tongues, biblically is perfect prayer as you said between you and God

also in acts 2:11 The bible says they were speaking the wonderful works of God. It is a working of the spirit to be done

decent and in order like all things of the true God. In respect of the rest Ephesians 4:3-6 is the key to spiritual unity.

Just because something is not believed doesn't mean it isn't true, also just because is believed doesn't mean its true

that's why all things spiritual must be accurately lined up with Gods Word and all other sources Questioned. Nothing

stops Gods Power of holy spirit in us when we rise up and believe whats written and act accordingly. Also there is no

    respect of persons, conditions yes.

  • Using this website SEARCH ENGINE to Look Up [email protected] - In Reply on 1 Esdras 7 - 4 years ago
When you come into this website you're on the RED LINK PAGE.

Up at the top is the SEARCH BOX. Links for the entire Bible is below that.

It's a really great SEARCH ENGINE, but just for Bible subject.

You can put the word 'Atonement' in the Search box and hit the arrow >

The engine will fetch every scripture that contains that word. You can sort the list; and the engine places the list in book order.

Or you can read either Old Testament verses only

    Or, New Testament verses only

With DATES OR HISTORY, you'll have to go on GOOGLE. Type it in like this:

    "Atonement, history".

    (Or date)

You have to use ancient names from ancient maps.

By using all the search options, you'll learn some really awesome information. If search doesn't fetch anything try wording it differently.

If it fetches 10,000 verses; try wording it another way or just look at only OT or NT verses.

Look around on this whole website to see what's in it. If you get lost, just back out and come back in. Curious is good.

The location of the COMMENTARY BOX is below the search box. Touch a scripture and it will highlight Yellow. Scroll down slowly.

Those are initials. There are many websites using those letters: CNA

Go on Google and type: CNA, Bible

I agree. The Bible suggests community and gathering among Christians, but there are times when this isn't always possible and I think God understands our circumstances and our heart.
  • Adam - In Reply on Job 14 - 4 years ago
Hi James, if you can define CNA or share a little more maybe someone can help you find a possible Bible reference.

    Dear Tammy on Exodus 25.

Thank the Lord and look up, raise your hands and praise His Holy Name Jesus Christ! And believe that He is the Son of God. That is what it takes for your sins to be confessed by you and forgiven by Him. Walking every day in the Word of God, and repenting from everything you know is not good in your life. Trust that Jesus Christ died for you and me and all who will believe in Him.

Thank Jesus for what He did on the cross, and the Holy Spirit will help you with all things in your life. And faith is a gift from God because we live in a time of Grace. Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing people to you. Be blessed in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ. Find some Christian friends and be with. So that you are built up and grounded in the Word. Jesus Is the Way of Truth and Life. Amen

Who is The lots Good of Israel?

What knowledge was written down, for others to read?

And what gate is to the East that the porters protect?

I missed a lot of the messages because there was a lot going on while I read. I'll reread it all, but I'd still like to see another's point of view about these questions I have.

    Oh yes... one more.

    Where is Jewry?

Hi Thomas. The Bible doesn't speak of a particular number of people required to be present before the Lord's Supper is commemorated. We see in these passages, ( 1 Corinthians 10:16,17, 1 Corinthians 11:18-34, Acts 2:42-46, Acts 20:11), that the 'breaking of bread' was observed with other believers present (whether a small number or not). However, to observe it without others present, I would think is your choice, as you prayerfully & thoughtfully take of the bread & wine remembering the Lord's Sacrifice for you. I doubt if many would do it this way as we would meditate on that Gift to us from the reading of the Word & prayer, but I don't see anything wrong in doing as you suggest.

    My view on John 3:5.

Here's another highly used verse when

when there's a debate is water baptism required for salvation.

I'll share 3 views briefly and go over the one I held but recently heard brother Jesse view on this verse. And it resonates!!

Here's one that is in error that is commonly used by these who say you have to be baptized by water to be saved.

"The water mentioned in this verse is water baptism."

The interpretation brother Jesse gave earlier in this tread, I want go over that one. I'll leave it for some to research.

The other is the water mentioned in the verse is the word of God.

1 Peter 1:23. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

    Amen and

    God bless.

Tim Legarie I've been a believer for 45 years and what my bible is telling me this is the beginning,

the only blockage that is stopping the adversary from so to speak cutting loose is that the born again

believers of the Body of Christ praying and interceding and carrying out the ministry of reconciliation

hasn't been taken out yet. When that happens what were seeing now is nothing compared to when

the tribulation or when the SON of Perdition rises up and cuts loose. There's a lot of things happening

against Christ but there is a difference between things against Christ and THE ANTI CHRIST biblically.

    S. Spencer A statement I heard a long time ago describing someone walking by the spirit, it is the external

manifestation of the inward reality of the exercised power of holy spirit. Thought that was pretty good.

    Spencer

    God bless you, too.

Perhaps you could read Matthew Henry's commentary on Acts 19

I am not meaning to be disrespectful

Can you tell me how I was disrespectful?

I also do not think I am any more "authorative" than anyone else on here who has firm views, as you do.

I am still learning about this community, but it sounds to me from your post that since I am newer I have less privilege in posting my viewpoint than others.

I am not trying to be contrary here. I can tell you may be a bit bothered. We disagree on this subject. I'm good with that. We both can post our viewpoints and respond to posts as we see fit.

Unless there is something in the terms of agreement that say otherwise, such as I can only respond to a post directed to me?

Even so, I leave this conversation on peace,
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Deuteronomy 25 - 4 years ago
    Amen!

    Thanks Brother Rick.

If we come across anything that adds to the finish work of Christ we have to revisit the viewpoint. By the means of the law we failed miserably!! Paul said in Romans 7:14. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

The issue is the incurable heart!!

With this heart the nature is disobedience,

Therefore obedience is internal expressed outwardly!!

1 Peter 1:10-12 and did not start until pentecost.

    GiGi.

I'm sorry if this bothers you but these posts is not directed at you. If so the original reply would have been sent to you.

This has been a debated topic long before you and I joined the site. Let's share our views and not try to use "Authority" . And no It doesn't say they we're baptized in water by Paul. It does say. "Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

WHEN THEY HEARD THIS, THEY WERE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS.

This comes up often and was debated a couple of weeks ago, I didn't have time to engage but said I would when time permits. The topic come up again so here I am. Please respect that

    God bless.

This chapter gives in allegorical method, extensive insight into the creation, behavior, and resultant outcome for Lucifer himself or Satan. Do not be confused thinking the reference to the prince of Tyrus in v. 2 is the same as the king of Tyrus in v. 12. A king and a prince are not the same. While the prince mentioned was certainly a man (v. 9), the king in v. 12 is obviously being described here as a spiritual creature.
