Elijah All men to a degree pay for either personal unbelief or succumbing to the unbelief of others, the only

exception to that was a our Lord and Saviour who gave Himself at the appointed time. Aaron did not stand up

to Israels unbelief or weaknesses but neither did Moses a few times. It reminds me of when Jesus Christ raised

Lazarus from the Dead in John 11:42 where Jesus said I know that thou always hearest me always but because of

the people which stand by I said it that they might[no guarantee] believe that thou hast sent me. Moses and Aaron

like Jesus Christ were always going against unbelief but stayed faithful to their calling.

Faith for Healing It was the same situation in Luke 7:1-10 with the centurion servant because the centurion

heard of Jesus and Believed who He was never meeting Him and knew if Jesus said it that settled it. Verse 9 speaks

loudly still. What we really believe is what we receive It IS Written.

Randy Lee Williams The word pestilence is the word plaque and the vast majority of the usage is in the old

testament when God would first WARN the children of Israel if you worship other Gods this will be part of that

punishment which they being stiff necked and hardhearted wouldn't believe and that resulted in Gods Judgement

on them. God hasn't changed in our Day and Time Man bucks against God and His Son and the result is what

we are seeing all around us. That being said we still can believe In Christ for protection and health and grace,

mercy peace and be more than conquerors through Him Jesus Christ and gave himself for us.

Hello Elijah. That is a good question & hopefully I can share a little here, adding to Mishael's good comment.

The children of Israel were always a problem to Moses, with their doubts, unbelief & accusations. And when Moses delayed his return from Mt Sinai, they lost all confidence in Moses & in this God Who was supposed to save them. So they pressed Aaron, Moses' brother, to make a calf that very likely resembled an idol of Egypt, & hopefully would do a better job than Moses & his God.

So we read this in Exodus chapter 32. Even though it's unclear, the sense is that Aaron opposed this demand for an idol but sadly gave into their demand. And this sin of Israel & Aaron did not go unnoticed by God, as all of them stood guilty before Him.

But Moses sought God's Mercy for them. When Moses called for those who would separate from those idolaters, the children of Levi broke away; Aaron would have joined them as he was of Levi. And Deuteronomy 9:20 tells us that God was angry with Aaron but Moses pled to God for forgiveness for his brother's sin.

And another family failing came up in Numbers chapter 12, where both Miriam & Aaron opposed their brother Moses. Miriam is understood to have been the instigator of that sad event, hence her becoming leprous while Aaron was spared, but both were guilty & no doubt God even forgave them for this (Miriam was eventually healed).

Therefore, Aaron was guilty for his departure from what God had planned & directed, but he, as us, could still be forgiven: Moses pled for his brother's life as our Saviour & Interceder Jesus Christ ever stands before His Father with His nail printed hands & testifying for His blood-bought brothers & sisters that are now His because of that Cross & expression of faith in Him.

With the Pandemic being worldwide, my question is: How many verses in the Bible use the word "pestilence" in the sense of disease that is unknown in origin, deadly without remedy, and ignored by the general masses of humanity?

Hi friend, so true so true. Thank you we got too remember this! Have a really Merry Christmas. I also share the word I received today.

Revelation 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Am sure that God Father Him Selv have control over everything. Be blessed in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ in the Spirit of the Holy Spirit who lives in us who belive in Him who have saved us all Amen-

WHY DIDN'T GOD PUNISH AARON, Bible

There's quite a lot to read on it. Very interesting how much.

My answer would be that Moses had problems with the people not trusting his leadership on the journey up to that time. He was on the mountain a long time And they might have thought Moses was dead or not coming back. They turned to Aaron for leadership. Also they wanted help building a new god to worship. They were in bondage to Egypt for over 400 years. They had trust issues.

That's a story you have to read slow. It helps to have a KJV Student Bible with CENTER OF EACH PAGE REFERENCE COLUMNS, so you can read corresponding books or passages that add more information overall.

Let's see what Chris adds later.
  • Faith for Healing - 3 years ago
Was Christ's faith always needed? No. A good example is the woman with the issue of blood. She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed." Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And from that hour the woman was healed ( Matthew 9:21-22). She had faith, she had determination, and she pushed through the crowd and claimed her healing by her faith. Notice the sequence. Jesus first said, "your faith has healed you", and then she was healed.
  • Jesus Loves You and so do I - In Reply on Ecclesiastes 9 - 3 years ago
That's a good verse. I was forgiven of a lot of low-living. I was peeled just like an onion; piece by piece until I was bare and Had NOTHING to save me. A very bad time. Death looked good to me. But Jesus dropped into my wreckage and pulled me up to the land of the living.

After I'd been saved some months I leaped into evangelism. You know wee kids with their Daddies taking them out trick r treating? I felt like the Lord was with me no matter all the mess. I fell in with a storefront church; most of them were street preachers. I heard the Call. Thirty years later, it's still my passion.

All that discussion of sharing hopes of seeing my saved relatives someday in heaven_is externalizing. I know they're dead, gee whiz. My Favorite times are sharing my soul-winning prayers with the LORD OF THE HARVEST. If I see disasters on tv, I pray about everything! It's an on-going conversation with the Holy Spirit. He lives in me, and I live in Him. He desires to have relationship with US. Im sorta solitary, but have kids and I love them enough to keep a wall of prayer around them; and extended family too. I care deeply about war vets who are closed off inside their pain. I stand in the gap for them. Satan hates my guts and I give him lotsa trouble. He fights dirty and I fight as Jesus taught me: on my knees in prayer and exceeding Praise of the Lord!

Television is not real life. It's like opium. You don't feel life anymore.

I watch news of Signs of the Time. Jesus said to watch and Look Up, which is what most of us are doing. We're missing signs. All hell is busting out. Do you see it?

We are given Dominion, Power and Authority to open eyes and ears in the Name of Jesus. Remind Satan he's NOT human and has no authority to destroy a life. He's the ultimate ILLEGAL ex-archangel. He stirred up storms on Job. He's still doing it. SO PRAY LIKE A CHILD OF GOD. Use your authority in Jesus's Name. Send them into wilderness. Then praise JESUS for the victory.

    Matthew 26

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

    27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

29 But I say unto you, I WILL NOT DRINK henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

Why did God never punish Aaron for his obvious transgressions?
  • Afele on 2 Corinthians 3 - 3 years ago
This Chapter Brought so much light to me. At first it question's us, asking did u start to commend ourself? or need we? - How did you answer, who did you praise...

(we should not steal any glory from God). Then we are reminded that it is not the things written down but that which is written in our hearts. (by which only the Holy Ghost can do), by that may be known and read of all men. (So the feeling we get from the law when read is abolished to ye but to keep us humble, that we continue God-ward to His Glory). For as much as we are openly declaring a speaker of Christ, not in ink but with the Spirit of the living God. ("It cannot be seen on table of stone (note: how this is not mentioning the heart, but clear stated as tables, manmade, steady, load bearing things, and to write in them is agonising work and seems physically impossible) Ezekiel. 36:26 Making it solely a spirit working; the Spirit has written them'. And we by faith we trust in Christ looking God-ward. No longer tied to the exterior earthly forwardness but the Spirits which giveth Life.

This gives none a chance to boast or figure themselves above anyone, that they may think themselves, enough are sufficient, for all the sufficiency we have or not; "our sufficiency is of God".

Such depth, I hope to meditate and remind my self of..

Grace and peace from God our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ.

I think that is a wonderful idea. We do not know much about the evangelization work of the other apostles besides Peter, Paul, and John in the book of Acts, along with James, Jesus' brother from Jerusalem's congregation. They were all commissioned by Jesus to spread the gospel. I wish we had more of where they went and what they taught.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 3 years ago
You are right, Glenn. We are blessed to have the internet to discover so much more than other believers trough the ages, but even so, they did just fine without because our relationship with our Lord is not about how much we know and understand nor how perfectly, but by how He knows us and understands us perfectly so that He can meet all of our needs in whatever sphere-spiritual, relational, physical, intellectual, and emotional. Praise the Lord, it is all of Him!

  • Rick - In Reply - 3 years ago
Glenn I barely remember my hippie daze LOL thank God but too much in communication has become

too confusing to me to relate to. The privilege of becoming more antique or aging. That being said

biblical research in the language if that time is very inspiring.

Thank you,.. it's just a great feeling to know, that I'm not alone in my walk ,.. I do believe an know what god said to have you reassured an he knows an wants to answer, but while on my walk, others often do things that make me so confused, I temporarily shut down and go completely blank !!!!!

Thank you,.. I certainly never wish to go to far as to assume or change what is written,.. but I do believe each language in all of life , has a certain way , to speak,.. an sense we never herd it spoken ourselves,.. it's not possible to have complete understanding,.. ; as like the saying of todays rap music,.. " My Bad ". It took me a while before I completely had a understanding !!!' An I'm sorry, but each language all through this time, has a certain " TWANG ". to it. !!!!!!!

I would like to know if there is s good source for researching a NT figure like Mark, Barnabus, etc. to find out where their ministry took them. Not a book but an online version just to satisfy my curiosity as I read about them. Can you recommend a site like that?

    Thanks

  • T. Levis - In Reply on Ecclesiastes 5:14 - 3 years ago
There have been several moments that were very difficult for me. Just recently I realized the years I studied scripture being confined mostly to bed after injuries: GOD ALMIGHTY is using it today, in being able to point others to scripture, without that difficult moment._..? .. would I have studied even half as much?. John 14:26, 2 Corinthians 4:17-18,

The losses I've suffered, has given me strength years before these recent trials. GOD had me prepared to face many difficulties. Through GOD's grace, taught me deeper trust in him & deeper realization of these scriptures. Hebrews 12:27-29, 2 Corinthians 1:3-7,

    1 John 4:18,

    Thank you for your blessing.

    Hopefully these encourage you
  • T. Levis - In Reply - 3 years ago
It was Jesus speaking, the moment actually starts in Matthew 4:23-25,

Matthew 5:1, may be Matthew referring to himself also when He said disciples.

    Hope this helps

Reynaldo Just asking who or what are you frustrated or angry at since the Bible says the systems of the

world run by the adversary are corrupt which can include so called christians. In some of what you stated

a verse in 1 Timothy 6:12 came to mind the love of Money is the root of all evil. Also this country is running on

I'm taking care of me, or self worship which is why it will go down if there is not a big change of Heart toward

God and His Word. The money says in God we trust but in their hearts they are far from Him, the warnings have

been given and not many are heeding. Jeremiah 2:13. I didn't write the book!
  • Mishael - In Reply - 3 years ago
Reynaldo I'm with you concerning native Americans. I'm ashamed that Washington ignores the lesser ones and favors those with big money and lying mouths. They will see their day of weeping soon. God showed me in 1991 that our stock markets will implode. Stay close to Jesus.

Let's all not overthink Mystery Babylon and the Great Whore of Babylon. God is going to waste it like liquefaction from an earthquake. Be ready to board the ARK of safety, who is Jesus Christ.

    Don't we sense the fury?
  • The war on children and the innocent - In Reply - 3 years ago
Pointing fingers never relieves the pain of what is happening to people of all ages and circumstances. Last year I met a person who busts sex trafficking rings. You need to know how all those police task forces feel towards the people, who force that pain on the innocent. I don't know who is safe anymore. Pray that the guilty be exposed. Parents, grandparents, protect your children. Pray that the Police find the guilty.

    God will hear our prayers.

Let us fast and pray in our closets for this Next year. Because we care.
