it is necromancy when talking to the dead about fortune telling, talking to the dead is not necromancy. I talk to Jesus Christ all the time with a contrite heart through prayer and because I know he will listen.

I hold that steadfastly and it's in "The Holy Bible."

Day of the dead has been observed for over 3,000 years. These days Catholics honor those that have gone before us on November 1st (for children) and November 2nd (for adults.) It is raining heavily every day, somewhere. It doesn't mean loss is all there is! When we ask for the dead to come celebrate this one day with us it is talk to them to exchange words unsaid. We also dawn on a skeleton mask to scare them off after this day of talk therapy, we don't want them to stick around... read about talk therapy that is still used today in Psychology and Psychiatric Counseling. Freud fathered it and Carl Jung embellished it. We use talk therapy all over the world in Education, and in business (naming a couple of disciplines) to meet the needs of the world we live in. Without talking it out we wouldn't have the written language. Without talking we might as well be mute. Get it out of your system, out of your heart, ie. love, for it is right to give him thanks and praise. Have you ever met Jesus Christ our Savior? Neither have I, but I still talk to the Lord, our God.

I can go on, so I will. Spanish was the first language I spoke, English 2nd. years later I mastered the English vernacular as I was born in America. Through pictures and visions, along with mentors of many ethnicities I learned to learned and it garnered me wisdom that I use today to help our living brothers and sisters in Christ. We do not forget our ancestral history. We must not forget those that gave us our freedom that we have today. Are we to embellish those attributes and be idle? There are many ways of life, together we can seek truth. Just imagine it and then live it. Through Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

in the early days of earth there were more catastrophic events than there are now. It is right to bring current events for others to head but not be afraid. My heart has many scares that healed and will continue to foster healing. Keep Jesus in your heart. For many this is comforting to read. Others do not have the knowledge of Christ our Lord for lack of wisdom, because they lack our brotherhood, yet they survive with simple shelter, clothing made of reeds, and live a happy life with a contrite heart. There are many problems as you stated, and the answers are at our beckon. Thank you for reminding us that sorrow, hardship and disease are vanished when you seek Jesus Christ and bring him into your life. Amen.

It is right to give him (our LORD, GOD) thanks and praise. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Lord, please help Narendra with his plea. It is emotionally disturbing to feel without Lord. Especially when we seem to fail our brothers and sisters in Christ for lack of funds or food or shelter to sustain them. Take our false thoughts when we feel left out and replace them with faithful obedience, bring us a left shoe if we only have a right shoe, bring us a cup to fill with your never-ending clean water to drink and bring drink to others that are worse off than we are, for healing. I count my blessings today and it is with a contrite heart that I come to you today for brother Narendra and those that count on him for well-being for themselves and others that will be blessed through their relentless faithfulness. Lord, it is with your blessings that I witness many miracles daily. My smile warms my heart. Let your mercifulness warm Narendra's heart for he knows your truth will bring him rewards as wisdom to overcome any fears he is experiencing today. Through Jesus Christ we pray. Amen!

JUST A THOUGHT Jesus Christ never fought for someones beliefs being correct, he taught healed

and displayed the Father and His Works and walked in love and when needed reminded them of the correct

way to believe. I personally was never mentally forced or pushed or made to believe Gods Word, I was taught

by people walking and teaching in Love that was my attraction it was what they SAID was equal to what they DID was

God working in them doing his good will and pleasure. Indeed it was God working in them both to will and to

go His good Pleasure. Then I was taught the how and that was my eternal change by our eternal Lord and

Saviour and our God. God melted a very Hard Heart MINE!

Hello, did you watch the unedited video? I will share what I know just in case. Maybe some are unaware of what actually happened.

Lots of people have made lots of judgments by the edited video that removed key parts, with political intent serving a narrative. The man was already high on drugs in the store, pacing and babbling incoherantly before swallowing a lethal amount of fentanyl. You can literally see it in his mouth on video to swallow right as the cops were onto him. Someone pinned down with knee is standard practice. Countless thousands of people have been restrained with knees without incident. Unbiased autopsy report confirmed he died of drug overdose not asphyxia.

Interesting how the biased news propaganda withheld that resulting in people generally unaware of this or else they don't care, because it doesn't fit the agenda. Also, if someone verbally says they can't breathe they are breathing. Someone who has enough breath to utter the words can breathe. People drowning in water for example, cannot speak, as they are out of breath. He experienced the exact symptoms of a drug overdose and it is very sad. Also sad is that they blamed his own suicide on an innocent cop that from the angle made it look like he was harming him, but that was not true and confirmed by experts. What a shame that people can't agree on what the truth is anymore and let political preferences influence what they want to see.

The main stream media is mostly a leftist religious organization at this point. There is very little truthful information being presented anymore without a political goal. Most of the positive things in the world are generally ignored and alternative viewpoints are generally disregarded. Christians are marginalized. If someone doesn't conform to the world's distorted morals they will often be publicly shamed and canceled. But some day I believe the truth will be revealed. Injustices made right. Some day every knee will bow to the Lord. Romans 14:1

Dear Brother, Yes, so true everything you write. I read a promise today, and thought: Jesus is not exactly gracious here or He Is! Thank the Lord Jesus.

Mark 10:24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

He is in control, so are we who are filled with the Spirit of Love and His wisdom.

Be blessed in the holy name of Jesus Christ. And have a real Merry Christmas you and yours.

There are horrifying things going on all around this planet RIGHT NOW. 60 Below and storms in Russia, Floods all over the Mideast, even Israel. S Africa with floods, baseball size hail.

Philippines are in total destruction from volcanoes, Tsunamis, large earthquakes; China too. Big and bigger earthquakes. More killer tornadoes.

These are happening now. This is new news. THESE ARE BIRTH PAINS. Australia, India, Pakistan, Iran. Turkey is on fire. Great roving fires. Italy is rupturing all over.

Eyes on banking and money reform news. Look at the current disasters!

God is going to be involved with this TWO STATE proposal by the Pope. Israel gets to build the 3rd Temple if they will give up all West Bank land they still hold. If Italy implodes, the Pope might be thinking of moving to Palestine? If Israel gives up land for peace, IT'S ON!

Deals are being made right under Gods Eyes.

The Palestinians are on YouTube telling each other The Mahdi is soon to be revealed. (Their ancient ancestor who will become Antichrist.)

We might be looking at 3 1/2 years now! When we see the Abomination of Desolation occur__Jesus is at the door. We are being warned worldwide.

You don't want to risk being here in the Tribulation. Be ready to go with Jesus; in the Clouds.

There is a scripture that we should store food and water (plus a Bible) for those being left behind. Some people think the one third of mankind killed will die of starvation. Babies will be born during the Tribulation. The scriptures for food:storage for famine are: Jesus told a riddle in the Olivet Discourse (Matt.24:43-45) Fig tree,10 Virgins, Genesis 42:1-3 Joseph put food away for 3 1/2 Years!

Uncovered water will be poison or blood. Wild animals will eat people. You can't buy gas w/o a mark.

Again I'll say: why would you tarry so long, as to miss out on being caught up to Jesus in the Clouds? Choose Jesus now.

2 Peter 3, ITS ALL GOING TO BURN.

    .... continued

Philip baptized the eunuch after the eunuch confessed that he believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (verses 37-38) and then Philip was miraculously caught away , disappearing out of the eunuch's sight. The text does not say if the Holy Spirit fell upon the eunuch, but the Spirit ad regenerated him and indwelt him prior to believing.

So, Alex in all of these instances, we have a water baptism into the name of the Lord Jesus at some point in the unfolding events, but not every event happened in the same order. And not every situation had the Holy Spirit come upon the believers. Study these situations in Acts, putting aside your viewpoint and anti-water baptism agenda and learn from te word what is truly taught.

    ...continued.

There were other times in Acts when the person who was being visited by the apostles and the person had already believed in God and had been regenerated (Cornelius in Acts 10) and the Spirit dwelled within. Upon hearing the gospel, the Holy Spirit cam upon these people of Cornelius' household without the laying on of hands. And after this, these people were water baptized.

There were times such as with Apollos and Acts 19, where the believers had been baptized by Apollos in John's water baptism which was not the same as Jesus' water baptism. They already were regenerated with the Spirit dwelling within prior to being baptized into the name of Jesus. Afterwards, hands were laid upon them and the Holy Spirit coma upon them as He had at Pentecost to the apostles and disciples.

In Acts 8 Philip went to Samaria and preached the gospel, people believed (were regenerated and indwelt with the Holy Spirit) and miracles were performed by God through Philip. Word got to the apostles in Jerusalem that the Samaritans and so sent Peter and John there to pray for them to receive the Holy Spirit (verses 14-19), since these new believers had been water baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus (verse 16) and the Holy Spirit had not fallen upon those who were water baptized prior. So Peter and John laid hands upon them and the Holy Spirit was received by them (verse 17).

There was belief and water baptism in this instance, and then a sort time later, the laying on of hands for the Holy Spirit to come upon them.

In chapter 9 After Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus, Ananias first laid on Paul to miraculously restore Paul's sight. Then immediately after the scales fell from Paul's eyes, he rose up and was water baptized by Ananias (verse18) It does not say when the Spirit come upon Paul in text, so we do not when or if this happened to Paul.

In Acts 9, Philip meets up with the Ethiopian eunuch and preaches the gospel to him, and as soon as they came upon water,
  • GiGi - In Reply - 3 years ago
Alex, the outpouring or infilling of the Holy Spirit spoken of in Acts is never called a "baptism" Also, in chapter 19 you again misrepresent what happened in this encounter wit Paul and the people at Ephesus, including Apollos. When Pau had asked if they had asked, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" (verse 2a) The people said that they had not even heard there was a Holy Spirit. (verse 2b) And then Paul said, "Into what then were you baptized?" and they replied to Paul, "Into John's (the Baptist) baptism. (verse 3). Paul then explains in verse 4 "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Jesus Christ."

When the people heard this, they were then baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus (verse). This was water baptism as there was only one baptism mentioned by Jesus, water, or practiced by the apostles, water.

Now pay close attention, Alex. After these believers were water baptized, then Paul laid hands on them and the Holy spirit came upon them. (verse 6). So, the water baptism was followed by the laying on of hands which prompted the Holy Spirit entering the situation and resting upon them, as at Pentacost. The Holy Spirit was already in them, because one cannot believe in Jesus without the Spirit regenerating someone and indwelling someone's renewed sanctified spirit nature. So you are incorrect in your assessment of this situation because you have an obvious aversion to water baptism.

If you read all of Acts, you find that there were instances where believers were baptized in water and the Holy Spirit came upon the believers some time later without the laying on of hands (the apostles and disciples who were baptized by Jesus in water before His death and the Spirit came upon them at Pentacost, but was received by these people when Jesus breathed and said "Receive ye the Holy spirit." So there were delays between each subsequent spiritual event.

We will see them again. My sons cousin, same age, died in a 18 wheeler crash. His buddy driver had too much to drink that day and couldn't drive. My nephew did back to back shifts.

He fell asleep. Was observed going off road, and the truck leaped a storm culvert. He died instantly. He was like a son to me.

Loss teaches us the brevity of life. To let go of all the issues, and just love. Live well and know we'll see them again.

Be wise as a serpent; mild as a dove. If we discern evil, we must cover with our prayers. Fight like the Lion of Judah. My son blamed God and walked away from Him. I prayed for 20 years! He's back now. Has asked to be restored.

Don't give up on those who hurt. Pray for them to meet the Healer and Lover of our souls.

    Sonia,

What is the prayer you are talking about?
  • GiGi - In Reply on Ecclesiastes 9 - 3 years ago
Agreed, Rick. We are among the living here on earth and our focus should be one those we have fellowship here and now. We can pray for each other, but not for the dead. We can trust that God judges justly in all things and rest in that. If someone dies a believer, our fellowship will be renewed in the resurrection, until then, it is advised for people to stay away from anything that involves praying to or contacting the dead. It is prohibited in Scripture, called necromancy, a type of divination.

Bless You Mishael, That is a story of hard losses in a short time. I am sorry it was that way, but God chooses what is best, I believe.

My dad died 32 years ago when I was 32. He had two back to back heart attacks within hours of each other and was gone quickly. Today, I was visiting my 88 year old Mom and she mentioned to me how she had talked with someone who was our neighbor for many years. Her husband is in a wheelchair now, having had several strokes. She is caregiving for him. so my mom mentioned, that it was a blessing that my dad died as e did, because she thinks it would be so hard for her to do caregiving for him now. So that was good to hear her say that. I miss my dad, but I know he had the beginnings of emphysema and is later years would have been miserable for him. God was merciful to him.
