You say you are not good with words but what you've written here makes perfect sense. Reading through what you just wrote, several things passed through my mind. I have a few things I want to share with you but it will be a little bit later as I have company coming over soon. Perhaps sometime tomorrow.
Blessings to you in Christ Jesus!
You say I don't understand which I already explained my understanding is very limited. I am only 2 and half months in my walk with Christ. However, I do understand a little when you are saying about me being "dead" with Christ. I am like the wine bottles. the old me has been destroyed. I am now a new wine bottle filled with the LIVING blood (wine) of Christ. I became His bride at the cross. You're assumptions of me are far wrong though. It's not that I feel guilty, I truly love God for what he has done for me and so want to live a life of obedience to show that love. I am not good with words either when I said about "Christ lives in me" I came across Galatians 2:20 a few days ago which explains it better than me. Also as I stated, my church that I attend although is a baptist church mirror what you are saying. They actually preach these exact words "by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone and not of works lest any man should boast." They did not add to it like you said "you have to do this, this and this." or anything after that. If anything it was myself that was adding to it. Again though I really like to thank you for taking time and patience to help me with my understanding and my growth in God, I really do feel the Holy spirit in me resonating with what you are saying. My carnal mind however is not yet at capable of understanding if that makes sense lol.
I sincerely pray that God blesses you with even more understanding, wisdom, knowledge and strength so that you may continue to help guide others on the narrow path. God bless you, peace and love to you in Jesus name.
King James Version
18In the same day theLordmade a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
GOD said let there be light. I can see these things on earth as it is in heaven
Revelation 12:2-6 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Mark 13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Matthew 24 13-16 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Before the end, and start of Tribulation) (Jesus goes from signs of the end to speaking of when Daniel mentions the 'antichrist' stands in the holy place. (let them that are 'in Judaea') 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
End From a primary tello (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly, the point aimed at as a limit, i.e. (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination (literally, figuratively or indefinitely), result (immediate, ultimate or prophetic), purpose); specially, an impost or levy (as paid)
Just wanted to thank you and and God Jesus and the Holy Ghost for all. Glory to God on earth as it is in Heaven.
Isaiah 54:17
"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD."
No Sickness no attack spiritually, AMEN and glad someone shared that and give God all the Glory.
I can do all things through Christ, God will never give more than we can handle always leaving a way of escape. We just got to do our part and RESIST and the devil will flee.
GLORY TO GOD! GOD BLESS YOU ALL. In Jesus Christ Name I pray help us all in everything we need. Holy Spirit fill us in the name of Jesus Christ I ask Father God. AMEN.
2 Chronicles 20:29
God Bless YOU!
Romans 6:23 The wages of "SIN" is death .....
John 1:29 ..... Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the "SIN" of the world ..... this sin is singular .....
I agree this "SIN" is a single sin.
Then you said: This speaks of the penalty of sin.
I disagree: the Lamb takes away this single "SIN" not the penalty of this single "SIN" and if this single "SIN" is not purged out of US: the PENALTY STANDS
This is the ONLY "SIN" not covered by the Lamb's blood.
God's word tells us what this single "SIN" is.
You have quoted this in other comments.
John 16:8 And when he is come he will reprove the world of "SIN"
This is the same single "SIN" and same world of John 1:29
This is the same single "SIN" that keep the children of Israel from entering the promised land, the PENALTY: they DIED in the wilderness.
John 16:9 Of "SIN" because they BELIEVE NOT ......
And what purges this "SIN"
Proverbs 16:6 By TRUTH and MERCY iniquity is PURGED.
Christ is the spirit of TRUTH, and when he IS COME he will reprove the world of UNBELIEF.
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins (plural) of many and unto them who look for him shall he appear the second time without "SIN" (singular)(unbelief) unto salvation.
God BLESS YOU!
Here are some Scriptures of God's care & promise to Israel: Genesis 12:1-3; Joshua 1:1-6; Psalm 83:1-18 (noting Asaph's appeal to God against those nations confederate against Israel. That all men might know the LORD' Name is Yahweh - not Allah); Psalm 122:6,7; Isaiah 41:8-16; Ezekiel chaps 38 & 39 (still future); Zechariah 2:8,9; Zechariah 12:2-9 (still future).
And we also see God's protection over Israel even after the birth of the Jewish State in May 1948: soon after this, five Arab armies (Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon & Iraq) came against a small Israeli opposition & were resoundly defeated. 1967 (six-day war) where Egypt, Jordan, Syria & Lebanon) attacked Israel to wipe them off the map. They were not only defeated by Israel but Israel captured the Sinai, Golan Heights, Gaza & the West Bank. 1973 (on Yom-Kippur), Egyptian & Syrian forces attacked Israel on this holy day (Day of Atonement). Once again Israel was able to defeat this surprise attack against them with the help of U.S. forces. And 2016, in December, a mysterious storm cloud (of dust and rain) put a barrier between Israel and ISIS. Reports say the storm stopped on the border of Syria and ISIS was 'unable' to enter Israel's Golan Heights area. God has not forgotten Israel.
I'm not trying to be a nuisance, just trying to understand where you are coming from.
I know you believe we are saved by grace alone.
You said, When I came to Christ, I confessed that I am a sinner in need of a saviour.
AMEN
You said, I wasn't let of the hook when God saved me.
I don't understand that.
Does grace only go so far? and not all the way.
God Bless YOU!
1 Corinthians 13:12 states: For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. This relates to our perception of Christ; but also of course in glory we will see other saints in their eternal bodies as well for the first time. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
For now we do get glimpses; should we take the time to discern them of the Holy Spirit uniquely working in each true saint of God.
In physical appearance we still may look the same at least to the world to our early life when we were still in the world. Our identity is in Christ if indeed we are saved; and we are being transformed by the renewing of our minds ( Romans 12:2). Glorification will give us bodies it would seem like Christ when He could go through walls or doors ( John 20:19); we will be able to eat and drink ( Rev. 19:9; compare with Luke 24:42-43; and Mark 14:25). We will also rule and reign with Christ after returning with Him at Armageddon ( Rev. 19:14; Rev. 2:26-27).
Having no more suffering as promised in Revelation 21:4 and no more death certainly is an encouraging throught. I would submit that understanding the reasons for all of our earthly struggles may be even more poignant than understanding the suffering itself. We can take heart that Christ has His church as a reward; and we also can rejoice (or should) in one another and the time on earth invested in the Body of Christ as well as helping to fulfill the Great Commission. Again; it is rewards that are the variable that we are to strive for as seen in 1 Cor. 9:24-27. I am convinved many who receieve great rewards are relatively unknown at present praying in their closet; giving secretly to missions and serving under the radar. God sees the heart (see Heb. 4:12).
I have a question about your comment.
You said: Sin separates us form God, it doesn't bring us to God.
Do you sin?
I know you will say yes I sin.
So by your comment, you are separated from God, correct.
You will say, but I confess my sins and ask for forgiveness.
What happen if you miss one sin, and asking forgiveness, of just one sin you might have overlooked?
This has always puzzled me.
God BLESS YOU!
What is SIN in God's eyes, NOT man's eyes?
Why do so FEW enter the Kingdom of God?
Does SIN keep them out?
ONLY eight in Noah's time.
ONLY two in Joshua's time.
Matthew 7:14 ... FEW there be that find it ..... in our time.....
Hosea 4:14 I WILL NOT PUNISH your daughters when they commit WHOREDOM, nor you spouses when the commit ADULTERY: for themselves are SEPARATED with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots, therefore the people that doeth not understand SHALL FALL.
Proverbs 16:6 .... by TRUTH and MERCY iniquity (sin) is purged ....
What is this SIN (in God's eyes) that can be purged by TRUTH and MERCY ......that keeps the many from the Kingdom of God?
God BLESS YOU!

The gospel was preached to National Israel as well to PROMISED ISRAEL, today.
Judges 21:25 In those days (God sees not time), there was NO KING in Israel, every man did what was right in his own eyes.
Maybe we have the same problem TODAY.
God BLESS YOU, brother.
Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
I believe that scripture works through me as I renew my mind daily
No discipline is enjoyable at the time according to Hebrews 12:11. It leads to good fruits according to the passage; however.
I have stated repeatedly that verses indicating chastising all He loves as well as suffering for His Name's sake are both scriptural statements in regard to the fate of those who are saved. (see Philippians 1:29 and dozens of other verses). So in some sense we have died with Christ but are being crucified daily. WE are the ones where there has to be progressive sanctification; Christ Himself only died once for the propitiation of our sins; in other words He didn't need being perfect the process of sanctification before glorification.
Just as the conversion of a serial killer may appear more dramatic than say a stay at home housewife; the sanctification may also appear so. We see Christ tell Paul how much he will have to suffer for His Name's sake ( Acts 9:16). God has His own unique calling on our lives therefore different things necessary in our sanctification process. Nonetheless; changes must occur.
Once we die or are raptured and called home in glory then of course the process is completed; and the rewards commensurate with our service or lack thereof. This means we should strive to win the prize; but that is involved with a combination of learning how to submit daily to the Lord as well as buffeting ourselves with self discipline; someone He can trust to honor His name; and a servant who obeys because of love for their Master; Lord and Savior.
Sanctification therefore means various things; changing our daily habits and routines; changing the focus of our career and recreational time; and for some means a change of venue; or vocation. It is the small things that add up to make one prepared for the big; the lives of Christ and the Apostles show how they faced martyrdom after daily dying to self. Paul had suffered greatly and preferred to be with the Lord but not before the time ( Phil. 1:23)
The word says that scripture has to be understood by applying other scriptures to it.
The NEW COVENANT, the gospel, was preached to THEM as well as unto US.
John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship, salvation is of the Jews.
Romans 2:29 For he is a JEW, which is one inwardly, and circumcision is in the heart, IN THE SPIRIT .....
Romans 8:2 For the LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST, has made us free from the LAW of sin and DEATH ...
This same gospel was preached to them as well as us.
Psalms 119:1 Blessed are the UNDEFILED in the way ( John 14:6) who WALK in the LAW OF the LORD ( Romans 8:2).
Ezekiel 36:27 I will put my Spirit in you and cause you to WALK in my STATUTES, and keep my judgements and DO THEM.
Psalms 119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in HIS WAYS.
Psalms 119:5 Oh that my ways were directed to keep thy STATUTES!
The Spirit CAUSES us TO DO his will, the words that come out of our mouth, are his words, the works of our hands, are his works.
Isaiah 48:18 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this, I have not spoken in secret from the beginning, from the time that it was, there am I, and HIS SPIRIT HAS SENT ME ( Romans 8:2).
John 14:24 ...and the word ye hear are not mine, but the Father's which sent me ....
Mark 10:8 And they TWAIN shall be ONE FLESH: so they are no more TWAIN, but ONE FLESH ...
The same SPIRIT that sent Christ and raised him up, and we as JOINT HEIRS, abides in us, our words are not ours by the Father's that anoints us.
The wages if UNBELIEF is DEATH.
The GIFT of BELIEF is IMMORTAL LIFE.
1 Timothy 6:16 .... Christ ONLY hath IMMORTAL LIFE......
God BLESS YOU!
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
I believe the scripture will open gates and doors for me.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
Re. last para, I am sure you meant John while quoting Luke 3:14.
There are two major errors as we head towards the Tribulation. One is the increasing number of those rejecting the God of the Bible and espousing a violent revolution; the other is what I believe is the genesis of the "Mystery Babylon" end time one world religion which basically holds to a tenet that man is basically good; and they can be somehow convinced to act upon these innate desires to bring some sort of utopian peace on earth. Such will bring about the first seal with the false peace of Antichrist on a ready and willing world population. Everyone; of course will be given a chance to join that bandwagon; as surely those espousing violence are somehow disenfranchised; explaining their behavior. Thus comes the covenant with "death and hell" knowingly made at that time according to Isaiah 28:15.
One could merely read the beatitudes or other verses about "good works" in the scriptures and somehow think that by doing certain actions they are following the Gospel. Outwardly perhaps; but not inwardly in the heart as man cannot love those who hate them and despitefully use them without the Spirit's assistance ( Matt. 5:44). We cannot; as Joni Mitchell states in the 1969 song "Woodstock" go back to the garden. The exaltation of man as though he has some redeeming quality started to gain popularity in the 19th Century "enlightenment" period.
When we look at other writings outside the Bible; it is certain that certain moral themes are more or less covered in these texts which are similar to scripture. We can see the same thing; of course in pagan cultures with the theme of a virgin giving birth with Isis and Osiris. The Bible is the written Word of God; even if some earlier texts were written down beforehand. God Himself wrote the 10 commandments on stone ( Ex. 31:18). He is the source of all truth; moral and otherwise and has taken care that the revealed Word was preserved and also became flesh ( John 1:14).
When David wrote in Psalm 119 that he loved the law; it was not necessarily for the regulations itself; at least to the main theme; but it was the nature of God and His righteousness where knowing the Lord personally; such statements could be made. Isaiah 30:10 is a warning that people wanted to hear smooth things; and that reminds us that we can't selectively pick verses that seem encouraging to us. We also have to look at such texts as 1 John 4. Verse 12 shows that we must love one another; but further inspection on this and the entire book of 1 John shows what agape love is; it has to be a perfect love and goes against the flesh where people in the flesh tend to pick and choose who they love. (see 1 John 3:15-16). We could say the same thing in a subject like prosperity. God promised Abraham would become great; and blessed him greatly with possessions. Nonetheless; the cost of this was having to wander around as a nomad in what would become eventually the territory of the Promised Land.
Again; in regard to the law it is actually held to a greater standard in the New Testament as to thoughts and intentions of the heart (see Matthew 5:28). God is also still concerned about vows and covenants made such as with marriage and we cannot live as the world and expect to inherit the Kingdom of God. The lawless one is coming ( 2 Thess. 2:9-12). God has written the law in our hearts ( Rom. 2:15).
The Dominionist concept of the church taking over the world before Christ comes back is clearly in opposition to such verses as 1 Timothy 4. We aren't in a Theocracy where we can be expected to conquer as Israel did; we also can't exact restrictions more than Christ did with soldiers ( Luke 3:14); where Christ didn't try to make them lay down their arms. We can learn to wait on God as Romans 12:19 suggests. May we read and apply all scripture in a sound manner.
It has been said that the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed; and the New Testament the Old Testament revealed. I'm not sure who came up with that I'm sure a quick search can make that evident.
No one can follow the law perfectly; and if we transgress in one thing it is as though we broke all ( James 2:10 loosely translated). No one can be saved by the law; that is where the grace of God comes in. However; we can't dismiss the significance of the 10 commandments as it is clear that murder and adultery are still sins as seen in numerous N.T. scriptures. Of course most believers don't hold to Saturday sabbath today except for Seventh Day Adventists and Messianic Jewish congregants. There are also ceremonial laws which Peter himself was told to bypass with his vision in the Book of Acts in regard to the meeting with Cornelius; a Gentile.
When it comes to comparing both Testaments cross references and prophecies clearly link the two parts of scripture; not to mention life lessons. 2 Timothy 3:16 makes it clear that all scripture is God breathed and useful for various purposes. There are intersections with Gentiles on occasion (such as Nebuchadnezzar; Naaman the Syrian and perhaps most importantly Melchizidek. God's chosen people came from pagan nations first; then were established eventually in a homeland as Jews; with varying interludes of diaspora during times of disobedience. As I stated before there were covenants made with Abraham that are related to promises for the nation that are eternal. What did change was the Old Testament methodology of sacrifices once the Temple was destroyed in AD 70. Actually once the curtain split at the crucifixion we now are able to worship God anywhere as we have access to the "Holy of Holies" being His temple ( 1 Cor. 3:16). The New covenant promises essentially to give us a new heart which will never drift from Him again ( Jer. 31:31-34).
You said me:"I beg to differ from your view on the seven seals. You said,"And around 65 years after His ascention,JESUS broke the 7 seals of the secret book of Apocalypse".
First, you must know that GOD the Father gave to JESUS the book of Revelation-Re.1:1-decades after His ascension, it was around 95AD, the New Covenant already was established, and already there were 7 Churches in Asia.
Re.5:3 reveals:'no MAN in HEAVEN(i.e. in 3rd heaven, the next to be established, and it has nothing to do with sky), nor in EARTH,neither under the earth, was ABLE to open the(sealed)book, neither to look thereon.
You wrote, saying:""In the Revelation,it is not a secret book as you say.""
John said-Re.5:1-And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside(Ez.2:9-10,take a look),sealed with seven seals. Well, the book was with the Father-the book of Revelation, and He had kept the CONTENTS of the book still secret and closed with 7 seals until He handed the Book to His Only Begotten Son-my Lord JESUS Christ,to untie or break the 7 seals and showing to His servants the things which were written therein-Re.1:1-EXCEPT those things the seven thunders uttered, and John write them not(Re.10:4).
It is evident that having JESUS broken the seven seals(Re.6 & 8:1),the CONTENT of the Book was revealed, then after this WONDERFUL event still in the first century(AD),there was no longer any secret or CONTENT sealed within it, being the last book of the Holy Scriptures, the Word of GOD.
Unfortunately, you made an extensive you made an extensive and foolish comment(are you using AI to interpret Scriptues?), what matters and prevails is the Word of GOD, not your verbiage, beyond the detail regarding to the sealed book of GOD whose CONTENT was with GOD the Father still secret/sealed, it until He has DELIVERED it to JESUS to show its CONTENT unto His servants, and that JESUS provided calling His angel to do it, in fact, an archangel-Re.22:8-10.
