This is a difficult subject to discuss openly. Being one is to be united in the holy love of God. The way we can do this is to become one with His Son, Jesus Christ the only way to the Father, John 14:6. When a man and woman are married, they become one as we through faith become one in Jesus. When Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist Jesus was filled without measure with the Holy Ghost/Spirit, God's Spirit, John 3:34.
God was manifested in Jesus, John 14:10 1 Tim. 3:10. Jesus was the Tabernacle of God, John 10:38. Jesus and the Father are one John 10:30 and Jesus told us we can be one as He and the Father are one, John 17:20-23. Jesus did nothing on His own, only the will of the Father, Jesus was obedient to the Father, Rom. 5:19 and as you said, Jesus was sent by the Father, John 5:30. The doctrine Jesus laid out was not His doctrine but His who sent Him, the Father, John 7:16.
All things are delivered unto Jesus of the Father, Matt. 11:27 and all in heaven and earth is under Jesus's feet, 1 Cor. 15:27 and will be until the last enemy is under His feet, that is death, Rev. 20:14. Jesus said the Father was greater than Him, John 14:28. Scripture says Jesus has a God, 2 Cor. 11:3 1 Eph. 1:3 Eph. 1:17 Col 1:3 Jesus said He had a God John 20:17.
In the garden, Jesus prayed to the Father that the cup He was about to partake could pass if there was another way, but said not His will but the Father's will, Matt. 26:39. All the introductions, greetings, and blessings in the Scriptures in the New Testament that are given to the followers of Christ and called to be saints from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, two not three.
Rom. 1:7-8 1 Cor. 1:3-4 1 John 1:3 2 John 1:3 2 Cor. 1:2-3 Gal. 1:3-4 Eph. 1:2-3 Phil. 1:2 Col. 1:2-3 2 Thess.1:2 1 Tim.1:2 2 Tim.1:2 Titus 1:4 Philemon 1:3 2 Pet. 1:2.
You must study the Scriptures letting the Holy Spirit the Spirit of God guide you to your understanding, not from my reply, or man.
God bless,

Any suggestions would be appreciated on these topics of concern

Thankyou
I concur with Gigi.
Jesus was temporarily "made lower than the angels" Hebrews 2:9.
which refers to Jesus' status. The second Person of the Trinity took on human flesh.
Jesus was fully human and "made lower than the angels." However, Jesus is fully divine, too.
I've heard it put like this, By taking on human nature, Jesus did not relinquish His divine nature-God cannot stop being God.
Philippians 2:6-8. reads as follows.
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Jesus voluntarily relinquished this while on earth. He put himself under the will of the Father, "that is his role".
Therefore, the fact that the Son took on a human nature and made Himself subservient to the Father in no way denies the deity of the Son, nor does it diminish His essential equality with the Father. The "greatness" spoken of in this verse, then, relates to role, not to essence.
God bless
You are doing a great job of showing the corrupt versions.
Yes as we both know the Holy Ghost doesn't make mistakes!
God Bless you for defending the True Words of God!
You are very much welcome! Its good to have true believers in the True Word of God on this site!
Many here see the KJB as just another translation, sadly.
God Bless you!
Revelations 2:24-25
24But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
God Bless You!!
Thank you for taking the time out to post all the scriptures to me, so I too can read them and they can help me to understand the Word.
God Bless!! You too.
God was once considered by Israel as 'Baali' (Owner), though the LORD longed that Israel would turn away from idolatry & turn back to Him, their Husband (Ishi). How that relationship with Israel pans out post-Cross is difficult to say, for the Scriptures are clear that only those who 'call upon the Lord (Jesus) will be saved' ( Romans 10:13) - and these people are those who call the LORD, their Heavenly Father, even as He is the Father of Jesus Christ, and we in Him, His Body, the Church.
Haggai 2:3 - 9
"Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do you see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
Yet be strong , O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts."
The glory of God, the prince of peace has shaken the world and was presented as a gift in Bethlehem. He, Jesus filled the house and overcame the darkness of Egypt. There will no other house on dry land or sea except the one Messiah, Jesus Christ at his planting. He will come again in the harvest and will harvest His Olive Tree as He has already prepared the Work.
Spiritual Israel will always have a Prophet.
I will give you my understanding, If we look at the end of Rev. 12 after Satan is cast down to earth, in the original text Satan is standing on the sand of the sea when the Beast in Rev. 13 arises, in Rev. 11:7 and Rev. 17:8 this is the bottomless pit. He is given only 42 months, Rev. 13:4-8, that is 1260 days or 3 1/2 years, this is all the time this beast has been given. If we look at Rev. 19:11-16 we see the second coming of Jesus, the first resurrection and the vials of wrath start Rev.16.
This is before the battle and In Rev. 19:17-19 an angel cries out for all the fowls to gather themselves unto the supper of the great God, to eat the flesh of the men who will be destroyed at Armageddon, this matches with Ezekiel 39:17-21. The beast and false prophet call the ten kingdoms to gather after the 6th vial is poured out Rev. 16:13-16 then the last vial is poured out in the air Rev. 16:17-21.
Also, we see the beast and the false prophet, and the 10 kingdoms or countries are who will make war with the Lamb, Rev. 17:12-14.
In Ezekiel 39:9-15 this is them cleaning up after this battle, and the beginning of the 1000-year reign of Jesus and setting up the kingdom.
Ezekiel 38:22 may be Rev. 16:21 and Ezekiel 39:6 may be Rev. 20:9.
This is a short view of my understanding may it help, and others may give a different understanding, prophecy is hard, and some things are yet to be revealed, we just need to watch and be ready and stand firm in our faith.
God bless,
RLW
Does this mean that you don't have the answer either?
I believe you should receive the earnings of the wages of your labour's and if you trust God you should have title do with in thy will.
In Ezekiel chapter 38 the battle of the Magog, the question I have is in Ezekiel 39, 9.
When is clearly understood that the battle is most likely going to happen at the end of the first half of the tribulation, 3 1/2 years of peace.
Explain verse 9 of chapter 39, and when Christ returns after the battle of Armageddon, with all his saints, he cleanses the Earth.
So, if the fire that he is talking about is for 7 years after the Magog battle, there's only 3 1/2 years left in the tribulation.
Any feedback is welcome.
I hope and pray that I..........and all of you will begin to see yourselves the way Jesus Christ sees us. We are perfected in him.
Thanks again!!!
God Bless!
I agree with Jesse. At the time of this Revelation of Jesus Christ to John (around 90 AD or perhaps a bit earlier), these 7 churches existed in Asia Minor, either planted by Paul, John, or some other apostle. These were actual cities in Asia Minor and the churches had existed there for a few or many decades, depending on when the gospel first reached the people there. Each church believed in Jesus and served the true God, but each church was a bit different from the others AND each Jesus highlighted specific problems in each church as a warning to them (and to us) of the dangers of developing false teachings and allowing sinful living to flourish in ourselves and in our church communities.
John must have known these churches. He may have placed the bishops, pastors over them at one time. He may have visited them to preach. It is known historically that John did appoint some bishops of Asia Minor. I think he appointed Polycarp.
So, John was not some type of hermit off a secluded place for most of his life in Christ. he was active in living out his apostleship until he was arrested for witnessing for Christ and exiled to Patmos, an Agean island.
Christ was speaking to John about these churches for a reason. One reason may have been because John would be released from Patmos and he returned to his apostolic work in Asia Minor until his death in about 95 AD. He most likely returned to these churches to help them get back on track. His Revelation in written form was been distributed among the churches also
Jesus was giving direct help to John in his apostolic work that he would continue after his release from Patmos. he was later martyred. Such a stellar disciple he was. Boiled in oil and killed for Christ's sake after a lifetime of serving the Lord heartily and faithfully. 26 AD - 95 AD into eternity!

(there are many more more. i don't know which niv version i am using on my computor with bible gateway, as there has been 3 versions so far of this book. it seems to them the holy ghost can't quite make up his mind exactly what he wants to say so he has to keep coming back to fix it. actually, i believe that it has to be changed every so often in order for them to keep their copywrite so they can sell it. i'm not sure what version this is and what changes they made but it really is a mute point, they are all wrong.)
god bless you all who understand the wrong of modern versions of these books.:)

i've done a brief study of the nkjv and niv modern versions as to what they have printed and what is in the kjb. i realize i am preaching to the chior, but i thought it would be interesting.
first a brief history lesson.
in the early 1950's a man named howard long was a christian businessman who would witness to his customers often, with no hesitation, but unfortunately his pride was stronger in him then humility and it not only led to his fall, but also the corrupted version of god's word in the niv. mr long was embarrased when one of his customers, instead of responding to the gospel as he was use to, laughed himself silly at the "ancient" language of the kjb. unfortunately, instead of defending the word of god, mr. long was embarrased and there after was determined to put the kjb in modern language "so it sounded more morden and people could understand it better." it seemed mr. long didn't go to god and seek guidance but instead he went to the honored authorities of his day and told them what he wanted to do. they resisted for many years until mr. long was successfully able to convince them that what he wanted was of god therefore by 1975 the niv was published.
