You read once more carefully what it is to be a living soul.
The first thing someone needs to determine is where a LEGAL stronghold is. Any unconfessed or unrepentant sin gives access to demons; and a person is not ready for deliverance. It is possible when someone starts to manifest that such counsel can be given after a demon is cast out; as we don't always have time to evaluate these things such as with Jesus casting out the demons from the men in the tombs ( Matt. 8:28-34).
We also don't have the authority to cast a demon into hell. If the demons could plead to be elsewhere since even they knew it was "before the time". That is found in this same passage also. The same principle of course is in relation to Satan who can't be "sent to hell" and isn't RULING there now. ( Eph. 4:7-9 and other verses). We also don't have the authority to mess with powers and principalities that God has temporarily allowed under Satan's hierarchy. There are things in the angelic realms as the Book of Daniel suggests in that regard. We appeal to Christ in all prayers and work through His authority; therefore we must truly know Him and ourselves be prepared spiritually to be full of the Spirit in such encounters.
I won't take this post to debate if a believer can be truly possessed by a demon; or just oppressed. Oppression is a very real phenomenon; and no doubt affects many of us as we go through life's trials.
As to my earlier commentary; we also need to beware of deceptive doctrines; and having a proud "religious" spirit. The enemy has a plethora of methods to engage in battle; and we can only learn from experience to detect these things and rely on the Spirit to navigate things until the one battle truly subsides and hopefully we are better prepared for the next one. Naturally; if we are truly doing the work of God the struggle and trials become greater; both for the Lord to bring us to sanctification and edification; and because we are a threat to the enemy.
"And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Luke 18:27 KJV
As a believer, I, believe God concerning your prayer petition before God, and that,
"... he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5 KJV
"O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah." Psalms 84:8 KJV
As a believer, I stand in agreement that God hears and answers prayers, Amen.
A believer should not allow anyone even their own spouse to cause them to miss out or sin against God, as the scripture reads further both received the same judgment, although they conspired together, the husband was judged then the wife was asked whether their dealings with the Apostles were true and being judged separately received the same judgment as her husband. Each one had an opportunity to be honest and they valued their relationship above their love for God. The same God who created them both and allowed them to have a spousal relationship in the first place (not that only God provided for them to have the field in their possession). They put their trust in their relationship, by obeying each other and not obeying God. A believer should God obey first in all things, whether married or unmarried and this scripture is an example of that and how careful a believer has to be in their human interactions with others. Not just husband and wife, which is the highest human form of a human relationship, all human relationships, whether Mother/Father, Siblings, neighbors, employers, friends, family relations, any human relationship that a believer has, God should always be honored and obeyed first. A believer shouldn't choose a path or make a decision that is contrary to God's way.
If only they had the courage to say they did not want to participate or only wanted to contribute a certain amount. I see a lot in the bible about the human condition of failure to communicate. In this case, failure to communicate perhaps could have been based on pride ("the pride of life'). Perhaps, they sincerely wanted to give, however, both seemingly wanted to control the situation by privately agreeing to do something separately from what was agreed upon. We also notice in the scripture that nothing is private, God knows all things.
"Does the bible support a women Pastor or Bishop. I know already that the bible supports women in ministering the word, just to clarify."
Based on the qualifications of a Bishop, I do not believe the bible supports a woman Bishop based on qualifications ("This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work." 1 Timothy 3:1 KJV), however a Pastor may not necessarily be a Bishop and therefore a woman can be a Pastor or called to be a Pastor, I believe. In this scripture when the bible states a man desiring the office, I believe it is for a male to be a Bishop and not a female, since the qualifications entail having a wife and a man exhibiting leadership over his family and household.
A women and wife can be two different categories, although a wife is a woman, a unmarried woman is not a wife and is not subject to any man, only to God. The bible indicates if a married woman wants to do anything that she should ask her husband, husbands and wives should be on one accord in righteouness.
43When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' On its return, it finds the house vacant, swept clean, and put in order. 45Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there; and the final plight of that man is worse than the first. So will it be with this wicked generation."
This passage would seem to infer that a person could have an evil spirit removed somehow; but without the Holy Spirit taking up residence post salvation. ( John 14:23). We are reminded of the sons of Sceva who had demons come out of someone they were trying to exorcize and rend them. ( Acts 19:14-16). We also could conceivably be reminded of those Jesus cast demons from; since some may not have been truly saved after that. We see evidence of that with the case of 1 leper that came back to praise Him while the others went away. ( Luke 17:17-18). We see warnings also of Christ saying sin no more lest something worse happen to you ( John 5:14). In that case it would probably be death as he had been paralyzed for decades apparently due to some sin.
We can think of the condition in the Synagogue where Jesus cast out a demon early on ( John 4:33 and following verses); and consider how the religious and self righteous piety of the Pharisees caused them to have this condemnation in particular.
A more sobering thought is many "ministries" today who are seemingly obsessed with casting out demons (in some cases it is proven the same person is involved over and over as a likely paid participant for crowd appeal). I personally have a big problem with one particular teacher who often baptizes people (and says is necessary for salvation) and demons come out.
We can hardly call someone in that condition in a sound mind ready to make such a commitment to the Body of Christ as Baptism signifies.
In your comment you carelessly interpreted 'Adam as the son of God.( Luke 3:38).' Adam was created of the dust of the earth- Genesis 2:7 and 3:19- , not begotten, so Adam is not GOD's son, only his origin is from GOD.
John 3:16 - GOD so loved the world, that he gave his ONLY begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God bless
Trinity serves the Spirit aspect as a memorial. The four beasts carry grace and truth two pinions. "And in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind." Significance of before and behind I touched upon in the previous post of the first table of stone that Moses broke at the foot of the mount. These were full of eyes. "And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come./And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,"(Re.4:6-9) What are these eyes? "And seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." (Re.5:6) Before the outpouring of the Spirit we have verses indicating the spirit of Christ has been sent. I Pe.1:9-12 Receiving the end of your faith is the salvation of your souls. This refers to Adam's sin. God forbade him the fruit and his judgment was set in that day. "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Ge.2:17) This refers to truth. Law came by Moses but by Jesus Christ came grace and truth. So unto this and in that day have before and behind. Spirit of Christ belongs to before ('who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you) and grace after his Advent(but unto us they did minister the things').
Thus these two wings with full of eyes are again employed in the inaugural vision of Ezekiel, in the wheels within wheels of the living creatures, full of eyes. This is modified in Ez.10:12 "And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had." This refers to saints redeemed from the earth. Total sanctification is demanded of them
I would like to share my thoughts on archeology findings used to date some of ancient beings and dinosaurs ect.ect.
In the middle east just a few years ago, (maybe 3 or 4) there was an archeology finding of what was supposedly bones and a skull of a caveman over a million years old. The Archeologists made this assumption due to the settlement and depth of the earth during the excavation.
Then there was a problem!
They also found a coin with the imprint of a Pharoah in the same settlement that dated around 7000 years.
The unique imprint of this Pharaoh gives the identity of the Pharaoh and Archeologists are able to research the time he reign.
I find that interesting.
God bless you.
The next line speaks " Behold, he cometh with clouds," which ties up with the testimony of two angels at the Ascension. So there is before and after priesthood for the Lamb slain. "stood a Lamb as it had been slain,."(Re.5:6). Now let us look at the two sets of tables of stone given to Moses at the mount. " The tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written/And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables." (Ex.32:15-16)
The work and the writing was of God, the author and finisher of our faith. When Jesus came as the word become flesh, he defined what was the work of God. " This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."( John 6:28-29) This is what Moses broke at the foot of the mount. "and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount."(32:19) The everlasting covenant was not for the stiff-necked and rebellious people. The second set was the work of Moses "And the Lord said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel." The Law of Moses is for Israel since God has rejected them. There is also another covenant 'with thee,' in which Moses stands as a double for Jesus Christ. Consequently necessitating a vail Before God he took it off and put it on when he dealt with the Israelites.
Israel cannot find help by itself. "Also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."(Ec.3:11) Without faith in the Son it is nil
I gave you my understanding from Scripture in answer to your concerns. I guess we will disagree on these points at this time.
Have a good day, Momsage.
We are dealing with two things here when concerning dinosaurs.
1) When were they created.
2) When did they die.
By the scriptures we know that the Lord created everything that was created. John 1:3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Also, by the scriptures we know that death came into the world by Adam's sin.
Romans 5:12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
By Scriptures we know that that extends to all creation, even the very ground we walk on! Genesis 3:17. and
Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
The whole world groans and is waiting on a redemption, meaning restored to its formal intentions.
So, this may atleast help us with the "when" the dinosaurs could have died.
certainly not before Adam and Eve because death had not entered the world yet. (Possibly the flood)
Some hold the view of a gap theory between verses 1 and 2 in Genesis 1:1-2. as a possibility when dinosaurs may have been created.
Would you like for me to get into that?
God bless
"At Jesus' ascension, the angels told the disciples that Jesus would return in the SAME manner as He ascended. This not only means "on the clouds" but in the same body." I have merely quoted from this forum verbatim.
"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."(He.9:28)
He will appear second time. But is it on earth? "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:" His throne of glory has a name, "Throne of God and of the Lamb." It is in mid-air.
" And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."(Matt.19:28)
Coming back to the ascension,"shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven," does not specify the body but from resurrection shows that spiritual body confused Mary who could only recognise him by his voice.
In the inaugural vision of St John he refers to his death ('the first begotten of the dead,'-1:5) but from description no nail marks are seen. Besides no familiarity of Master disciple relationship is implied which of course owes to the nature of vision.
"For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." Jesus Christ perfected in his body so sin is atoned forever. The everlasting covenant commemorates Fellowship of God with Man. "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love."(Ep.1:4) We were chosen and we are sanctified when we receive him in faith and our works are faith-based. So the Parable of talents teaches who go to life eternal and who eternal condemnation. (Matt.25:40). When he ascended he has a position: when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." He is there as "Melchizedek" the high priest for those who are sanctified. Our service is only faith and works without which merely lip-service to justification is hogwash. His priestly service on earth is done with. He brought grace and truth so our works may be as perfect as his offering.
God is omnipotent who has no need for plan B. Thus everlasting covenant with Man requires no other covenant. There is a lie that is currently in circulation and what is working behind literalism is not difficult to fathom. Satan sent a strong delusion and the imposter church is sold lock stock and barrel to him. God would soon commission Israel over the golden calf " Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation." (Ex.32:10; " and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they"-Nu.14:12). Notwithstanding this when it came to the question of atonement for their sins, God refused him "Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written./And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book."(Ex.32:32-33). God has a book already where His covenant is with the Son. It is to which St Paul refers,"so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."(Ro.5:19) The blood of Jesus Christ on earth refers to the slain Lamb in the Mind of God. It also explains how God made coat of skins for Adam and Eve despite of their transgression. Israel has no claim to what they had rejected. So eternal burnings are on the basis of the everlasting covenant.
"And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."(Matt.25:30) One unprofitable man owed to one man's disobedience. "Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life."(Ro.5:18) Justification of llife does not come by itself as imposter church teaches, Faith with works means, "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Works is Christ-based
All nations have one common father. Adam as the son of God.( Luke 3:38) "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"(5:12)
In the body of Trinity memorialised the man ("and the third beast had a face as a man,"-Re.4:7) we have the last Adam so when St Paul refers to him "so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous." (5:19) one does denote nation but last Adam. When God says 'let us make man in our image and after our image the original already existed before the throne. The 24 elders signify the body of Christ. Jesus as the Word become flesh was in the Mind of God. Their golden crowns and white raiments attest that he did no sin and knew no sin. God's rest ("and he rested on the seventh day"-Ge.2:2) mentioned at the conclusion of the everlasting covenant proves this. In short spiritual bodies refers to both sets. The eagle, the lion and the calf are associated with the quality of the Last Adam. The tables of stone and circumcision have no place in heaven.
Moses broke the first set of stones. "and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount."(Ex.37:19) This second set is written by God signifying that it shall be on the tables of heart. Moses was only to bring up with stone tables into his presence. He himself writes them as before. But the tables of heart is the covenant he made with Moses and not with Israel. "And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments."(34:28b)
Covenant with Moses was consequential. The glory of God required a veil meaning of the glory to follow. "the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." It foreshadows the advent of Jesus Christ. Moses stood there as the double for the Son. Also significant is that God only showed Moses 'his backparts'. At every level we are shown Israel's role was in relation to the Son.
"And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another."
The Son is given all authority in heaven and on the earth.(Matt.28:17)
This verse refers to the Son of man coming in his glory. 'and all the holy angels with him,' is the fulfillment of what was shown to Daniel in a night vision. So the Spirit gives us a clue:"And, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him./ And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."(Dan.7:13-14). 'One like the Son of man' refers to the vision. It is the mind of God revealed in human speech. Similarly the night vision is distinct from day vision. What Peter at Joppa saw in a trance was of current events. The gentiles are also part of the church since the outpouring of the Holy Ghost.
Second point is that everlasting covenant is of individuals and not of nations per se. Thus national identity of Israel being in the Mind of God is as much as a lie as the curse of Ham is on account of his color. The covenant is about man whosoever is sanctified in his Son. Thus the imposter church refusing to see truth owes to a strong delusion that they believe in the lie. For it suits them. The blessed is the man" the Ps.1 tells us. It refers to the covenant and the man is created 'in our image and af ter our likeness' He is separated as the Parable teaches us, and eternal life is for them. For this reason the covenant begins with separation of light from darkness. v,46 "everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."
17The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.
And JESUS said (around 2000 years ago): let the dead (they which have not the Spirit of GOD, Spirit of life) bury their dead. Matthew 8:17
Daniel 12:1-2 combined with 1Thessalonians 4:16
Michael comes first, and after of him comes Lord JESUS.
12:1 at that time(at this current time, or at this Day, the Lord's Day, the seventh and last Day/millennium)shall Michael (the archangel) stand up, ...
12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake (RESURRECTION), some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
1 Thes.4:15- For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord (the Word is GOD, self-executing), that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent(precede) them which are asleep.
1 Thes. 4:16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel-Michael- , and with the Trump of GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
And 1Corinthians 15:51-54 reveal:
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,(Compare with Philippians 3:20-21)
52 ...at the last trump:for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
(the trumpet shall sound:Re.11:15-And the seventh angel sounded;and there were great voices in heaven(heaven??? Ephesians 1:3-8), saying, The kingdoms OF THIS WORLD are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Matthew 5:5-JESUS said: Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth).
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (CAUGHT???)
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written,Death is swallowed up in victory.-Hallelujaaaah!!!
Get ready --> Matthew 25:10
I believe we as Christian should stop and decide not to speak on things we do not know. We as Christians should never argue Christ with a non believer. The bible clearly states you should state what Christ means to you and then allow the Holy Spirit to do it's good work on the non believer. I sometimes believe Christ puts us in a place or time to spread the gospal based on our belief not the un-believer. There is nothing wrong with directing them to the bible. But make sure you explain to them how to read the bible.
In the pass, I have spoken and tried to convince someone about Christ. I now alway try to remember that they cannot see it from my point of view because they have not accepted what I have accepted to to see clearly Christ is all in all.
I'm always aware that I could be conversing with a demon , etc. Reason that I stay prayed up and I'm always in a state of mind that I through Jesus Christ have the power to do anything. Speak and Declare, Cast out and Rebuke, etc. But most of all pray without ceasing until my answers comes.
So, until Christ comes, I truly believe we should study the bible to make ourselves approved, mind our own business, step up to the plate to defend our Faith in Jesus Christ when and where necessary and ask GOD who is able to open the bible to you and give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding to live this great life he gave us.
GOD is no respector of person. So if he calls you to do somethng, go and do it!
GOD is awesume and worthy to be praised.
I understand that you may be being led by the Spirit to step back from posting. Or, maybe there are things that God wants you to give more attention to and so you will post less often. I hope it is the latter because I do enjoy what you post. I t is helpful to me as it makes me consider topics that have not been brought to my mind before I read your post.
Be encouraged, you are appreciated here.
Going to the doctor tomorrow with my daughter-in-law to check to see how ready she is for labor to start. I think she will probably go to her due date on Friday or later. She goes up the stairs in our house far too comfortably and she doesn't have the "waddle" with the grimace holding her belly when she walks around. She and the rest of us hope she doesn't go into labor until Wednesday or later. But according to what I've read, it is the baby that sends the signal to the uterus and brain to begin labor when the lungs are ready to breath air. It is so amazing how God created all of this to work without any one interfering (because such "assistance in starting labor" is rarely helpful).
Would appreciate your prayers for her and baby in these last days and for the labor and delivery to go well without problems.
The Holy Bible is a Unified Story Leading to Jesus! The other matters you inquire you will need to reference Britannica et al (and others). Because The Holy Bible is for believers it does not need to be all-inclusive with the other aspects of life/living. There are more than a plethora available - hardback and digital!
Perhaps this will eliminate your quest for finding non-correlated "evidences" @ Holy Bible. :)
#Serve The One True Yehovah-God Jesus! Se'Lah
Sh'ma Israel: The LORD our God is One
Good to hear back from you.
As to your first concern.
We know that Jesus is forever our high priest and mediator between mankind and the Father. ( Heb. 510; 6:20; 8:6; 1 Tim. 2:5.
The doctrine that Jesus will forever remain God and man is commonly held doctrine throughout the centuries. If you have not heard of it, perhaps you can try to learn more about it historically before dismissing it.
At Jesus' ascension, the angels told the disciples that Jesus would return in the SAME manner as He ascended. This not only means "on the clouds" but in the same body.
As to your second concern about Jesus being everywhere present. His divine nature is not confined to within His human body. As the divine Son of God, He can be everywhere present because He always has the divine spirit nature as the Father and Holy Spirit.
He told the disciples that He would always be with them, EACH of them individually. ( Mt. 28:20) He said that the Father and the Son will come and make their abode in the believer who loves God and obeys His commands. ( Jn. 14:2). Jesus' divine nature is limitless, but His human nature, though glorified is limited. He can live as God in His human nature AND also fill the universe as His Father and the Spirit can. His divine nature can be everywhere present but His human nature is limited. Jesus sits on the throne in heaven as "God made flesh" and also abides in every believer in His divine nature.
As the your third concern about Paul's instruction. He was many years in the Arabian desert where he was given the gospel message from the risen Jesus Himself (see Galatians 1:11-17; 1Cor. 11:23).
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit He -the Father- taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
2Peter 3:7- But the heavens(spiritual environment of the OT & NT) and the earth(Israel), which are now, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto FIRE against the Day of Judgment (the Lord's Day, the current seventh and last Day, or seventh and last millennium in which we are living) and perdition of ungodly men.
Speaking on'Gentiles and the Olive Tree',you'highighted the unity and interdependence of both groups within God's redemptive plan', and"The natural branches(Israel)were broken off due to unbelief, and wild olive shoots(Gentiles)were grafted in'.
The Word of GOD shows us the existence of two Olive Trees and Two Candlesticks:The two olive trees(source of oil -the OTand NT-, two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of THEMSELVES- Zechariah 4:11-14),and the two candlesticks(two Churches:the Gentile Church, and the Jewish Church- Hebrews 12:22-24)are standing before the God of the earth(the person of the Holy Spirit).
Many Jews attended the Church in Rome, there were dissensions among them,so Paul wrote:Ro.2:1-11:
1Therefore thou art inexcusable,O man, whosoever thou art that judgest:for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself;for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2But we are sure that the judgment of GOD is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3And thinkest thou this,O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the Judgment of GOD?
4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering;not knowing that the goodness of GOD leadeth thee to repentance?
5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself WRATH against the Day of WRATH and REVELATION of the righteous Judgment of GOD;
6Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality,ETERNAL LIFE:
8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the Truth, but obey unrighteousness,INDIGNATION AND WRATH,
9TRIBULATION and ANGUISH,upon every soul of man that doeth evil,of the JEW first,and also of the GENTILE;
10But glory, honour, and peace,to every man that worketh good,to the JEW first, and also to the GENTILE:
11For there is no respect of persons with GOD.
As to the Psalms study and prayer; Psalm 3 seems to begin an actual prayer of David and is case specific as stated in the intro. as relating to the troubles with Absolom. I will have to seek the Lord as to whether I should go through each Psalm whether it is a prayer or not. I think I may have started something with Psalms a year or two ago and didn't complete it on this site. There are certain Psalms that should be grouped together according to the way they were originally constructed. Some stuff like Psalm 22 is applicable to David and the Messiah but we should basically look at is as any other inspired scripture; we can repeat it to reassure ourselves of His promises or learn the text; but it is not a prayer uniquely. Finally; of course I don't want to place undo focus on the end time ramifications, although understanding the big picture is helpful.
As much as I enjoy this site; I fear that it may be at the expense of me growing in other areas as well as keeping me from facing situations that need to be dealt with. The focus should always be on scripture reading as well as the subject at hand; prayer. I probably am as guilty as anyone else in just forging ahead with a topic; or in my case in particular a concept and bolstering it with scripture. I need to consider if at the time it is edifying; and possibly undo questions it will raise. Trying to use whatever cleverness I have rather than Godly wisdom is not the best approach.
That being said; as Paul said the love of Christ constrains us ( 2 Cor. 5:14). The verse goes on to describe how we die to self in an analogy to Christ's sacrifice and a life of service. I appreciate all the input; as well as love and support. The love of many is said to grow cold in the end times; and that would also I would argue include professing Christians.
I have enjoyed reading the comments between you and Richard about the Godhead. They are pretty good, however, you said something I don't understand. You might be totally correct about it, I never thought of it before but what did you mean when you said " He will forever have a human body." I know His scars were visible when He walked on earth before He ascended into Heaven but then didn't He go back to being God without anything "human" being a part of Him as God? God is a spirit or else how could He be all knowing, all powerful and everywhere at all times so how does a human body fit into that? These are honest questions because, as I said, I've never heard of this before.
Also, I probably misunderstood you, but it seemed in one of your other postings you indicated Paul sat under the teachings of Jesus during His earthly ministry; "but as a born again person and after spending many years in the desert learning from Jesus and the Spirit." This is what i am talking about. God Bless :)
