May the HOLY SPIRIT lead you in all truth & guidance.

What shall it mean to me as i find difficulty in the belief of the preaching and quotes concerning the nearness of rapture, although my belief in Father-Son - Holy Spirit- Creation- Satan and his Followers Ultimate Punishment is as always secure ?? so I shall from today (14/09/2020) be spending time with the Holy Spirit to tell me why i should have these thoughts ??.

Believe what theBible says about you. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand. He will comfort you; but sometimes he convicts us too, about things we do. Listen to that calm Voice and not that voice that confuses or condemns.

You may even ask the Holy Spirit to give you the gift of discerning spirits.

The best possible way to have a better understanding about which day is the right one and why most people go to church on Sunday, is to go back to the book of Daniel. Understand the kingdoms of Babylon, Medo Persia, Greece, Rome and how the activities of the "little horn" that has a mouth and eyes and speaking blasphemy against the Most High.

What is blasphemy? Mark 2:7 "Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?"

The little horn according to Daniel 7:25 - "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."

According to Exodus 20, the 4 commandment "Remember to keep the seventh day holy..." Exodus 20:8-11. The commandment has not changed, even Paul solidifies the same in the new testament, "we establish the law" Romans 3:31.

The little horn has usurped the prerogatives of God and in doing so he established his day, Sunday, as the day of his authority. The last day deception will be about the day of worship. Those who love God, & His law, will choose Saturday Sabbath as the day of His authority, but those who choose the devil's representative here on earth (the anti Christ) will choose Sunday sabbath (as they call it) as the day of his authority. It all boils down to in whom we rest (sabatismos), come what may. Even at the risk of losing our lives we trust the One who is able to resurrect us from death, Matthew 10:39

Jesus was teaching this. Where it says spirits; these are the evil spirits; or Demons. The demon of fear brings

tormenting demons along with him. A demon of Bondage captures people with addictions, like drugs, alcohol, sexual addictions like porn; the demon of Infirmity will wear a person down till they are very sick with all manner of diseases.

There are many names for them. I find it much easier to identify the with what Jesus taught about FRUITS. Witchcraft, sorcery, murder, stealing. Sometimes FAMILIAR spirits follow families and inflict old family curses on them: like for women who cannot bear children. Curses can be lifted with study to get information, and then prayer.

Rebellion is as the sin of Witchcraft. If your teenager is violent and profane: you know his fruit.

The prayer of faith will heal the sick; bind and cast out the demons to go into outer darkness and dry hot places.

Demons are invisible, but they can manifest frightening scary incidents. If you read horoscopes instead of the Bible "to get a word for the day", you invite occult demons into the house. Phone psychics, Quiga board games, etc. Get rid of all idols so God can bless you!

That's why Jesus said to GARNISH you/your House. You must have Bible inside of you! If you can quote scriptures like the Son of God...you can make demons leave. Put on the Armor that Jesus paid for with his Blood, and plead the Blood over the entire home.

Just to add to your comment, I also believe we aught to keep the seventh day holy, however when there is an opportunity to help someone in dire need on the Sabbath, we have to do so. After all, didn't the blind man end up believing in God for the good work Jesus did to him on the Sabbath ( John 9)? Whatever ye do, do it to the glory of God, 1 Corinthians 10:31.

At the end of the day we should be able to hear these words from our Redeemer, Matthew 25:31-40. Whether the good works were done on Sabbath, or any other day, for as long as the praise and worship of the beneficiaries are directed to God - that is all we can ever ask for.

Everybody in here may be using their own versions of the Bible. Such as NKJV, NIV, and others. You'll have to compare one to another. I've always used KJV because that is what I memorize.

Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew. New Testament in Greek or Aramaic. Be happy that at great persecution, King James of England got the Bible translated so that regular people like us could read it themselves. Which is why he did it.

The history before it was translated is very very humbling. People were tortured Or burned at stake for having pages of the Bible.

I've said the above to show that no scientist can ever consider this other aspect of human beings. He may see it as an aberration in behaviour & that we are still essentially good people. The Bible, as you may know, tells us that we are the opposite: essentially bad but having good traits. However, if we are essentially good, then from where did these evil traits develop? I know what the Bible teaches about this, but how does one who believes in neither God nor the inception of evil, deal with such a distinct human nature of good & evil? Is it enough to say that's just how we are & go no further? Yet, we can have a clear conviction in how the worlds came together & the evolution of man, yet content with being uninformed or uninterested in this aspect. I would hope that the origin of this dual nature in man would be addressed by someone, since these are clearly not traits in our 'animal predecessors'.

COMMENT by MISHAEL ON VERSE 3: the people to be tempted are the ones that received Salvation during the Great Tribulation. See Verse 7 also.

Thanks for your reply EW (if I may abbreviate). I've also kept up with what others have written here & of course, your replies to them. True, all those evils have been going on since man's creation & have not got better, rather steadily worse. As we so often hear from those of us who are old enough to make a comparison of the 'good 'ol days' to what we are seeing now, are all evidence of a constant steady deterioration of the heart & mind of humans. Our present news gives support to this.

We did well to have slavery abolished, women treated with dignity & equality, extra care for the poor, aged & infirm, etc. & yet with all this, people of another colour or belief still being marginalized, women being abused & raped, & the aged left in despair, anguish & loneliness. Yes, only so much can be done, but we must also realize that we can never get it all correct because humans, with all their knowledge & concern, can never deal with the condition of another's heart, only the outward. And that condition is called sin, or evil, that lies in the depths of every heart. How did this condition surface, if through evolution, our development & progress should have remained consistent with our former ancestors? Why have we developed anger, jealousy, hatred, sexual perversions, etc. along with our nobler traits of love, care & consideration? One can show great love & care yet in the next moment display anger to another. Where does such a dichotomy of good & evil in a supposedly 'higher form of animal' come from? Or, should we overlook the evil & dwell on that which is good within us? If so, that would be a guarantee for society's continual degradation, bringing mankind into the sewer of depravity yet sugar-coated with niceties.

The Rapture - the raising of the Church into heaven ( 1 Thessalonians 4:17): is the next event on the prophetic calendar. The Rapture is when Christ comes back and takes every Christian that is still on this earth and resurrects all of those who have died and takes them to heaven with Him. In 1 Thessalonians 5:1-8, Paul expresses that the Lord's return will be like a thief in the night. No one knows the date or time. However, there are several signs of the End Times that we can all be aware of. Events such as earthquakes and diseases, war and dispute among nations, and persecution against Christians are all signs leading to the Rapture.

A prince is a son of a noble. Such as a king.

Saturday is the sabbath. Sunday is the Lords day. Jesus rose on a Sunday, why we use that day. Jews and others still use Saturday. All though, we should worship Him everyday.

I would assume that person don't believe that you don't believe in that verse. And wants you to think about what it means.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle. Fights then were a hand to hand grapple. Not against flesh and blood. While flesh and blood may seem to assail us, the real enemies are evil spiritual powers. Against principalities, against powers. These terms designate different rank of evil spirits. These were fallen angels (see Ro 8:38). The same terms are applied to the different ranks of holy angels in Eph 1:21. Against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Satan is described as the ruler of this world (Joh 12:31 14:30 16:11) and the god of this world ( 2Co 4:4). He uses for his dominion not only evil spirits, but wicked men, and his sway is darkness rather than light. Against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. "Spiritual [hosts] of wickedness" (Revised Version). It is likely that the meaning is the same as in Eph 2:2 The high places, the air, is a dwelling place and medium of these evil influences.

Cremation is an ancient babylonic practice its done as a way to worship moloch, so yes the Lord forbids cremation and things as such, look up verses that mention moloch or baalim. God bless

May I recommend simply reading the Bible for the purpose of education? You will further understand the principles and fundamentals of Christian faith. It will also answer questions you raise or points you have mentioned-such as prayer and God's response time. It can't hurt, right? If you seek a tangible source, this is the one. Asking others for their opinions, beliefs or testimony, though you seek "credible evidence," seems more of a can of worms to pursue debate. If one has a genuine interest in a subject they devote their time to studying and learning it. Doesn't mean you have to agree just read with an open mind! If anything let it be an inspiration on how people should be treated and the fact that the intentions of man are often selfish and prideful.

Also, may I recommend the book "God's Crime Scene"(part of a trilogy) This may be more up your alley but comes as no substitute to the best selling book of all time. An interesting read for Christians, atheists, agnostics or anyone who likes interesting books/subjects. It may spark a flame.

I hope your curiosity is genuine and later reveals the purpose in which it was delivered! Just as science changes(rather, our understanding of) so to may your personal understanding and belief system of religion/God.

Actually, that book was included in the apocrypha which was originally published with the KJV. You can find it at the bottom left of this site.

why do the commentary notes of 1599 Geneva Bible refer to 1 Macc 4:59 in reference to John 10:22, but Macc is not a book available in this Bible or the KJV ?

I agree. Assembling is merely coming together as a congregation (however big that may be) to edify and exhort one another as fellow christians. No walls to any building are necessary. However, as time went by, more people gathered and a building was just a matter of course. I do believe there is an "outside" church near where I live. Quite frankly, I think an outside church is a great idea. This corona virus thing has forced my church into the parking lot and God's creation, and it is very nice. Yes, weather will take a toll, which is why the walls of a church are handy, but I am willing to go with it.

what is a prince?

I would like to tell you what I see when I see the earth and the sun. The earth is a perfect world for keeping all people and creatures alive and then look at how complex the human body is, just think about it real hard and you will see we did not just evolve then look at the sun which has burned at the perfect temp to sustain life here on earth, it has never ran out of fuel or even ran low of fuel ever since the day it was created so how many things do you know that burn and never run out of fuel, I have never seen one. Have you ever seen a monkey sit down at a table with a pin and pad and chart the course to mars and back to earth. We did not evolve from a monkey. God created this earth and the sun and everything in it and it is so easy for me to see. Then look at all the things that Jesus did while he was here. He brought people back to life and cured people that they knew them and knew that he did it and there were thousands of people that saw him do all this! I believe that God created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in it and I will go to my grave believing it. One more thing is I have felt Jesus in my heart and I had the warmest feeling I have ever had and I have felt him standing by my bed at night and I am not a old fool I have felt it! Thank you God for everything you have done for me and I know for a fact that God has been watching over me for my whole life or I would not be here today, I came up hard as a old Tennessee boy that has done hundreds of things that I would have dyed for if not for the lord and I know it for a fact! I believe your question is a great one. God is not the author of confusion.

However, I respect others opinions and their journey with the Lord even if I disagree with their doctrine or beliefs.

For two millennia, people have been expecting the Lord to return and arguing over their beliefs.

Obviously after 40 generations (estimate), the world has yet to witness the 2nd Coming.

The Bible has never been proven to be wrong. God states, I have told you in advance, so when it happens, you will know I have spoken it. 66 books were given as proof. Other books are claimed to be part of it, but that is another discussion/distraction for another time.

The Bible claims 2 people and one member of the Godhead have ascended to Heaven. Interestingly, there were witnesses to all 3 ascensions. The Bible claims throughout, Old and New Testaments all others who have passed to be in the grave and awaiting one of the Ressurections.

For myself, I choose to believe the Scriptures instead of mankind that has been trying to change God's Word since creation.

I would recommend you take it to the Lord in prayer. Seek and ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). See Jesus' words for yourself.

Read the parables.
