    GiGi,

I completely understand the caution. This was something that a pastor had shared with me about 10 years ago. I believe he received this information from a Jewish Rabbi but I cannot confirm that. So yes, caution would be in order. These actual steps are not in the Bible. There are also many other Jewish customs and traditions that cannot be found in the Bible, but learning some of their customs and traditions and seeing how those things line up with scripture I find fascinating. In the future, I will try and be a little more careful on what I share.

    Amen Brother Jesse.

I've run across this in my studies as well.

You see a portion of it in the parable of the 10 Virgins.

The first step I believe is called the Betrothal.

You see a sample of this in

    Deuteronomy 20:7.

There is a lesson on sanctification, redemption, ect. ect. in this Jewish wedding ritual as well.

This area of study is rich and profitable.

    Thanks and God bless you.

Ruby Lea Read You say all prophecies are fulfilled? The book of Revelation was written around 60 or so years AFTER the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The book of Matthew was written close to 15 years after. They are prophecy for us today. Rev.1:1-3 (1. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: (2. Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. (3. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the (words of this prophecy), and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Rev.22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the (sayings of the prophecy of this book). (prophecy)#4394; it means prediction, (scriptural or other) prophecy, prophesying, an inspired speaker. ((The book of Revelation is 100% prophecy, (prediction) How could the wrath of God have been poured out on Jesus ((if the wrath of God is apart of the prophecy (prediction) that is the testimony of Jesus Christ for things to come in The Revelation of Jesus Christ?)) Thank you for your comment Ruby.

    Hello One Eighty

Good to hear from you again.

I believe that God is simple, meaning he is not a composite of many things indicating that He has many part that together make up the whole of Him, like us. But I do not think that He is Knowledge, as you stated. knowledge is something other than God in His essence. The ability to know all there is, whether reality or all possibilities, what are the thoughts, words and deeds of all and each human for all time (what has been thought, said, or done whether it has already occurred or what will be thought, said, or done in the future for all time). He knows all the events of history and time from beginning to end, not being dependent upon them actually happening in time to know them.

We can describe God by His known attributes and by attributes that He doesn't possess. But that is from mankind's viewpoint and ability to comprehend Him. His essence is one complete, infinite, perfect, unchanging, holy Being. From our viewpoint, His essence is many faceted, but in Himself, He cannot be divided into parts such as attributes or other dimensions of His Being. He is One unified Whole Being, simple in essence, but so profound that mankind nor angels can truly know ALL of Him.

But I think it is an error to think that God is only one attribute such as love, or only something that exists outside of Himself, such as knowledge of the universe or history. He is not only knowledge, or the universe, of history. These all exist or happen outside of His essence. But His ability to know all things is part of His essence.

Sometimes we say things that seem reasonable but they may be subtly off the mark of what is true. Perhaps that is what it is when one says that God is only Knowledge or the Universe, etc.

I was blessed with far more instruction about God, our Lord, salvation, our Christian walk, and much much more by my parents and my church growing up. So, I come from a different perspective than you. I think it is certainly common over the centuries and today for believers to become mature within the church and home setting. So, it is probably a good idea, perhaps, to speak to your own lack of instruction growing up that did not lead you to maturity rather than give an outright statement that impugns the role and function of the teachings we receive from parents, pastors, teachers, fellow believers, and our own walk with God throughout those years by saying does not mature believers.

I do understand the need to "own" one's faith when we become adults by studying for ourselves the Word and measuring that against the Scriptures. There certainly is a great need to disciple teens and young adults who have grown up in a Christian home and church along with new believers whatever their age. The goal is to be brought to maturity, whatever the manner that God chooses to do so.

    God's blessing on you, Ruby.

Hello Guys i was just thinking about the Elect....Its the H.G. which is the ISRAEL OF God.... Romans 9:8..Flesh and blood are not the Children of God....Its only Spirits that are the real Children....Simply b/c the Elect is Spirit the Promise...The H.G.

....Thats y Jesus is saying that which is born of the spirit is spirit...Which is the H.G. our new innerman....Our new heart and new spirit...We us sinners can only be a JOINT HEIR with the H.G. When we are bornagain...The Elect has to be born in us via the seed of Jesus...Which is the H.G. the Child of Promise....Its only the H.G that can show Judgement to the Gentiles and the Jews...As he is the Spirit of truth that is gona rule all nations.

Isaiah 41:1...Behold my servant in whom is my soul well pleased...I will put my spirit on him and he shall show judgement to the Gentiles....And Jesus tells us the gift of God is the H.G....Thus the H.G. wd have to be the Elect...We are just a joint heir with the H.G. That Child of Promise which is Spirit...There are 2 Israels 1 is earthy and 1 is heavenly...But God didn't sware by himself when he made the earthy Promise....God only swore by himself when he made the heavenly PROMISE...Which was multiplication of Christ SEED...The living word the H.G is that living being the Promise...The only Elect but we can be a joint heir with the H.G...Gal.4:1 Now i say unto you the heir as long as he is a Child differs nothin from servant till the time Appointed of the Father tho he BE LORD OF ALL...Thats the H.G. THAT IS LORD OF ALL THE ELECT...But he has to come as a Child our new born that results from the seed of Jesus...She brought forth a man child that is gonna rule all nations...Read ISAIAH 42...The Elect is the H.G. The only gift of God...Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child (the H.G.) you will in no wise enter there in.....That Child of PROMISE..Natural Israel was the seed of men...But the Israel of God is via the seed of Christ Jesus the living word That N.C.

    GiGi:

I agree with you, I was raise in a church, taught by my parents, pastors, Sunday school teachers: this is all God's work, part of the plan of God, everyone posting on here, and those reading those post, is part of God's plan, but most people just stop with the basic, the milk, and never mature, able to digest the WORDS.

I was taught, believe in Jesus and you go to heaven, don't believe and go to hell, this is a far cry from what the WORD teaches about THE KINGDOM.

As we mature we should encourage other to get off MILK.

God has a plan for everyone in his creation, and through HIS knowledge and wisdom, all will eventually submit themselves to Christ, and God will be all in all.

Eternity is a long time; is it linear, or a circle?

In God's eyes IT'S ALREADY DONE.

    Hi Wendell,

Thaddeous and Lebbaeus were most likely names given to him by his family. Luke calls him Judas (not Iscariot). Judas was most likely his birthname.
  • GIGI - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Dear Ruby,

I understand the importance to test all things according to the Word of God. And I do think that we mature as believers over time and there is need to discard some viewpoints on Scripture and doctrines in favor of more accurate understanding.

I differ with you in that I will not despise the teachings of my parents, pastors, or others I know in the Lord who trained me up in the faith. This is the function of these people. To think that a person alone, and without outside instruction from seasoned believers can rightly interpret the Scriptures unerringly is a false and dangerous idea. It opens one up to all sorts of imaginings that go against God's word. I am not saying that the Spirit does not teach us truthfully. He does, but this is often through interaction with other believers with the Word. Loners tend to fall into great error and those who insist that they do not need to consider the teachings of other believers leads one to be unteachable even before the Holy Spirit.

I believe you are correct regarding the sequence of events. The return of Christ, the Resurrection, the Rapture, and the beginning of Judgement Day are simultaneous events occurring IMMEDIATELY after the Great Tribulation. Matt 24 and other passages are very clear about that.

The Great Tribulation is a spiritual event. It is not a time of unusual physical suffering and is not a political event involving specific nations of the world.

I believe we are currently living in that day, as I have posted earlier.

    Jimbob,

Thank you for the reply. I guess we're just going to have to remain in disagreement. If the Lord returns during our lifetime, and you believe you will be here during the tribulation, then I do wish you all the luck. As for me, I don't believe I will be here.

In your comment to Chris on Matthew 24, you said God shortens this time, or no flesh can be SAVED, and your right, CAN ONE BE SAVED NOW, if so then that great tribulation has already taken place.

It took pace from the time Jesus, left the supper table and went into the garden, was delivered up, and crucified on the cross.

The seven vial of Revelation; the wrath of God was poured out on Christ at this time.

No on could enter the temple until the plagues were fulfilled.

Anyone can enter the temple NOW, because the time was cut short, all wrath was poured out on Christ, It's already complete and the prophecies fulfilled.

It's all right here, in Mosses and the Prophets, if you put the scriptures in the RIGHT ORDER, all the pieces have to fit in the right place to be able to see the PICTURE.

    God Bless YOU!

    Hi Kathy ROLLINS,

Keep in mind that the true meaning of what the words in a verse are is more important than memorizing. Perceiving correctly the meaning will aid in memorization. Meditate on the meaning of the words throughout the day and night, and then the next day, then the next, and so on. It takes much willingness and desire for Truth, i.e. remembering God and His Perfect Love. Continuously pray for truth and only truth. The Holy Spirit's Voice is only as loud as our willingness to listen. It can never be louder without violating our freedom of choice, which the Holy Spirit seeks to restore, never to undermine.

There is another voice that hates us, which speaks much louder and very deceitfully will at times try to disguise his voice as that of the Voice for God. The Voice for God is always quiet because it always speaks of PEACE. The voice that wants to destroy is always in conflict, it opposes God (if that were possible) and its goal is war within a conflicted mind. This should always give us a clue which voice we are hearing. Be still and know God is God.

    Peace,

    GOD IS

Jesus DID know! Everything that Jesus said and did was for the benefit of others. Whenever he asked a question, he already knew the answer. The unclean sprit replied MY name is Legion, then said further, "WE are many".

Hello and thank you for your assistance today regarding Rev. 19:10.

My question is who is the person who fell at Jesus' feet.

Its confusing to me because if its John why would Jesus tell him not to worship him and that he was of his brethren.

Was it the Spirit that was showing John what John needed to know?

The reason I asked is because I have heard people discrediting a pastor for saying they were twins and am wanting to find out how they can discredit someone for something that may very well be true.

    Hi Ruby Lea Read,

In addition to what you are correctly stating; everyone has a tendency to stand guard over their ideas because we want to protect our thought systems as they are, and learning something different means change. In out current state of mind, we can only perceive, which is open to degrees beyond calculation. God is Knowledge and it is ONLY Him Who knows. Knowledge is all ONE and has no separate parts; no degrees, levels, variations, and no conflict whatsoever. When we KNOW, we obviously will quit debating and asking questions. All will arrive to that time when we know. When that time arrives, time will be over and eternity will be reality. Until then though, we need to persevere towards perceiving from sick perception towards perceiving correctly as we open our mind to what the Holy Spirit is teaching. If we are not continuously learning and adjusting our system of thought, we only prolong time, and time is not a concept in the Kingdom. I will not fear changing my mind about changing my mind. Thus I will continue to grow.

    Peace,

    GOD IS

Ruby Lea Read You just made my point exactly! We have to be lead by the Holy Spirit, He will teach us all things. We can not believe things that were taught to us by man! I do not allow any man to teach me. I do my own studies in a KJB and pray to be lead by the Holy Spirit, every Believer should do the same. (1.Jn.2:27) But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, ((and ye need not that any man teach you)): but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. For one to allow the Holy Spirit to teach them all things, we cannot think we already know until He shows us. We truly need to be completely opened minded to the truth, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us into His Truth. (Heb.4:12) Tells us the Word of God is Alive today. Scripture will interpret scripture, there are no lies in them. Thank you, Ruby for your reply.

Chris The great tribulation in Mt.Ch.24 is shortened for the elects sake. The time period of the mark of the beast will be during the great tribulation Chris, which will be a time such as was not since the beginning of the world, no, nor ever shall be. God shortens this time period, or no flesh would be saved so ((who is responsible for the persecution of the elect in this time period))? Satan, the devil will be. (Rev.12;12,17) (12. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (17. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. ((This will be the time of great tribulation, the devil's wrath will be against all Believers in Jesus Christ, (Rev.13:16-18) The mark of the beast is during this period! If God would not shorten this time period no flesh would be saved.)) God pours out His wrath on all non-believers of Jesus Christ. While True Believers are at the marriage supper of the Lamb the wrath of God is being poured on the disobedient ones left on the earth. (2 Pet.2:9) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. Read (2 Thes.1:7-10) also (Zeph.1:14-18) The wrath of God, the day of Gods vengeance comes the same day as the return of Jesus, the day of the Lord. The great tribulation and the wrath of God are not the same time period. Also in Rev.15:8 We are told "And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, (till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled) During the seven vials of the wrath of God no man can enter into the temple. Believers are at the marriage supper of the Lamb at that time. Thanks Chris.

I have looked at the spelling you provided about letters changing over time to other letters.

In Joel 2:24 and 3:13 where it says "your fats will overflow with wine and oil". Seems it should

be "vats" not "fats". I did not see in spelling anything about the f changing to a v or vice versa.

Thanks and hope to hear from you.

    Jimbob:

We are constantly seeing; but not seeing.

This is all God's doing, we repent of our seeing; but not seeing, as he causes light to shine into darkness, if your not constantly repenting of you beliefs an growing in wisdom and understanding, your not maturing in the word.

We started learning by what our elders taught us, they most often are still in darkness, also, it's hard to repent of mans teachings, because we think our parents and pastors KNOW, which is probably not true.

As you study ask yourself; did I learn this from MAN, or the teaching of the SPIRIT.

Remember the whole world has been deceived, only the Spirit can bring you to TRUTH: It'a all the WORK of God, not man.

Jesse As we have discussed before, nobody has all the answers. One could be on the mark in many different parts of Bible prophecy, but be mislead on a few things, or just misinterpret certain things and be lead away from the truth. If anybody is believing something that's not Biblical, their eyes are not open to that truth, Or you could say they are being deceived! The subject of when Jesus returns could be the biggest deception with us today, IF the pre-tribulation rapture is not truth. If we allow the scriptures to interpret themselves, then I do not see how one could come up with pre-trib being truth unless its what was taught to that person first, and then they would see all scriptures in a way that fits, or aligns with that belief. You asked what would be the role of the church during the wrath of God? When Jesus returns in the clouds for the church, all True Believers will meet Him in the clouds and be taken to the marriage supper of the Lamb. (Mt.24:29-31) (1.Thes.4:15-17) (Rev.19:7-9) At the same time, the same day the wrath of God is being poured out on those non-believers left on the earth. Read Zeph.1:14-18 The day of the LORD is also the day of His wrath. Jn.3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: (Believers will be caught up to meet our Lord in the clouds on that great day) and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (The wrath of God will be poured on those who believeth not the Son, all non-believers or disobedient ones, it will start the same day Believers are taken from the earth. The church will not be here for that Jesse. 1 Thes.5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. (The great tribulation and the wrath of God are not the same.) Rom.1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. Scripture interprets scripture. Thank you Jesse.

Freemasonry/Shriners show themselves as "angels of light" ie. "love Shriners children's hospital". It is a secret society of which the only way the to "know" their inner workings is to become a Freemason/Shriner. They do not give credit to Jesus Christ for their "good deeds", but rather to themselves through self improvement or rather, illuminating one's self through "good deeds". From all my research on this subject I do not see how a born again Christian can have any part in freemasonry. Something for us to think about.
