    Brother Mark:

    Meditate on these verses:

Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD that WORKETH in you both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

1 Corinthians 12:27 ...ye are the BODY of CHRIST .......

    John 14:6 .....I am THE LIFE .......

Hebrews 4:10 For he that has entered into HIS (Christ) REST, he also has ceased from his OWN WORKS, as God did from his.

    God Bless You.

I agree with you I just hear a lot of people say God knows what you will do before you do it. Sounds like you really have no choice it is already determined what you will do. If Omniscience means all knowing how can it mean free choice? Don't get me wrong I know what Jesus Christ did for me and I will never let anything change that it is the non-believers I was wondering about how could I help change their minds if it is already known what they will do?

    Covenants part 3

God sees our hearts. It is those often unseen; praying in the closet; living chaste lives; giving anonymously; etc. that are blessed.

Following and living out the truth because of obedience results from love of God. The characteristics of God's children today bring them spiritual authority and blessings to rule and reign someday with Him; alongside from the way scripture indicates; the tribes of Israel with the territories promised in their covenants thousands of years ago. He has called us out of this world; seated us in heavenly places ( Eph. 2:6); and sealed us to the Day of Redemption. ( Eph. 4:30).

Since His covenants are eternal; we have eternity to spend with the Lord (or conversely; in hell). Eternity has been set in the hearts of man; since God Himself is without beginning or end; thus it is reflected in the nature of man that He created; and communed with from the start. Through His Son; He purchased us and redeemed us through the transaction at the cross to be His own. These are all things tied into the concept of election and Predestination. Those who are NOT His children ALL will eventually fall away. John 6:37 is one verse of MANY in that Gospel and elsewhere showing how we are through the Godhead part of the plan of God to reveal the Truth as His child; or outside that number. These are profound mysteries; but it also shows a covenant or at least an agreement with the Father and Son which apparently was made before the creation in eternity past ( Ephesians 1:4).

I will attempt a section on Predestination soon; Lord willing. This section ties together the concept of covenant with election.

Through the Son we are given a new nature which is deemed acceptable to the Father because of Christ's merits and substitutionary atoning sacrificial death. To be one of His children we also must die to self; a lifelong process that initiates at salvation and goes on to death. ( Galatians 2:20; also see Romans 12:1).
  • Adam - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Adam did die.

Maybe your question is not did Adam die but WHEN he died? Some assume he would die within an arbitrary timeframe instead of God's timeframe.

The curse meant that Adam's body instantly went from immoral and to mortal and he began the process of death which is aging.

God doesn't lie. People lie and satan lies.

    Covenants part 2

The results of our actions as His covenant people; therefore still would (from the way I see it) involve blessings or cursings for us individually; and perhaps as a society at large much as it did with ancient Israel. There are; of course territorial promises that are different for us today as Americans; for instance. What isn't different is the same demons which are running amuck that were around for millennia. We are; ultimately in league with Christ or with the darkness. When we look at those such as Ananias and Sapphira we see how in an extreme example God can deal with those who are in the confessing church. It can't be said for certain if they truly knew the Lord; but it shows in God's house and His presence we had better take our responsibilities seriously.

He has called us as a peculiar people to be called out from the rest of the world. The Corinthian church was warned that those who took communion unworthily were either sick or had died ( 1 Cor. 11:29). He does chastise all those He loves; and for the tares; often they are seemingly naive of anything they are doing against God or the results that are sometimes obvious to others. A striking example of the hypocrisy of some prosperity mega churches is when the preacher himself who is declaring healings of others themselves gets sick. It is possible; I suppose for that to happen; but how come no one is praying for them?

No one seems to indicate that perhaps because of greed they are reaping what they sow. It isn't always sin that causes sickness; but for those obviously in sinful lifestyles it shouldn't be too surprising if it happens. Of course those preaching the health and wealth gospel will never (seemingly) indite THEMSELVES as the culprit even after accusing others of not being blessed by "sowing seed" financially.

As far as blessings are concerned; those families that stick it out with marriages are often not seen as having the blessings of God in their lives.
  • Richard H Priday - 3 years ago
    Covenants and judgment

Some have argued as to there being an unstated covenant at the time of the creation of Adam and Eve in the garden. It is evident that the institution of marriage was enacted based on God creating from Adam a suitable helpmate; which would in future marriages would involve some sort of commitment made in the witnesses of others; which would differ for each culture somewhat.

Nonetheless; this is a covenant or vow that is universal in nature; found in all the pagan nations. Evidence of the proper order of Creation and from ancient records of past civilizations seem to indicate a belief in one God who was greater than all others; later being supplanted by the foreign gods introduced (likely originating from Babylon or the ancient near east). There is also; early on in Genesis; the rainbow which established a covenant with man as to not destroying the whole world with a flood. In some way also the boundaries of the nations were divided as according to the sons of Israel ( Deut. 32:8). It is clear that all those who are not right with God are going to be judged and therefore under the wrath of God until or if they come to faith in Christ. What is not often considered is the greater responsibility of those who God has put under His covenant; such as the nation of Israel and today's church.

There are many parallels throughout scripture between God's espousal of Israel; and the various spiritual seductions that have led to the downfall of Israel since He provided for them in the Exodus in the desert and beyond once they entered the Promised Land. This is fair warning therefore to all those who would follow God today; as well as back then. When you become a part of something; today in church; for instance our verbal commitment is not only to follow the Lord in our own lives but be responsible for fellowship with the rest of the Body of Christ who are His covenant people today. Not all of Isreal is Israel however; only a remnant.

  • OLD MAN WILSON - In Reply on Revelation 5 - 3 years ago
    Brother Richard:

You are correct, there is no scriptures that says there is not a rapture; but there is scripture that says that rapture is not COLLECTIVE; but, ONE by ONE.

Isaiah 27:12 ....and ye shall be gather ONE by ONE, O ye children of Israel.

Whatever the Word says, will happen. Scripture CANNOT contradict scripture, It must be RIGHTLY DIVIDED to reveal truth.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

I also love the book of Revelation, but man's (anti-Christ) teachings have distilled it's TRUTH. It's the REVEALING of CHRIST the KINGDOM of GOD.

John 5:43 I (truth, Christ) come in my Father's name, and ye received me (truth) not: if another come in his OWN NAME, HIM (anti-truth, anti-Christ) will ye receive.

God Bless ALL as we come to HIS TRUTH.

Is Fear an abomination unto the Lord?
  • OLD MAN WILSON - 3 years ago
    Brother Richard:

You are not going to understand Revelation without understanding Daniel and Ezekiel.

Daniel's prophecy is FOUR kingdoms on the earth, Babylon, Medes and Persians, Grecia and the FORTH and last kingdom: the KINGDOM OF GOD.

Daniel 7:23 And the FORTH BEAST ......the KINGDOM of GOD ....

The BEAST in Revelation has to agree with Daniel's prophecy.

John the Baptist came preaching the KINGDOM OF GOD.

The FORTH and LAST kingdom (OF GOD) arrived on the day of Pentecost.

Hebrews 2:8 .... but now we see NOT YET ALL THINGS put under him.

In THIS AGE: God's in; ONLY, calling out the PRIEST to serve with him in the KINGDOM OF GOD. Study the Law and Prophecies. Moses and the children were a SHADOW of the TRUE KINGDOM.

Ephesian 2:7 That in the AGES TO COME .....

Eternity is a long time: it is broken down into ages for the PURPOSE and FULFILMENT of his good pleasure.

    God Bless You.

Sheep are the matured born-again who need discipling. Feed them -- teach them the Word of God and the upright life in Christ.

Lambs refer to the newly born-agan...which need to be fed moreso as they are much more easily swayed by false doctrines early on.

    John 21:15-17

"So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep."
  • Daniel - In Reply - 3 years ago
Nope. Predestined refers to our walk. Calvinism twisted this into seeming like God only elected 'some' for His Blood and not all.

The Bible teaches universal atonement. Like it or not, the Word of God is our Final Authority, NOT Spurgeon or any other man. 1st John 2:2 reads, ""And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." 2nd Corinthians 5:15, "And that he died for all..." We read in 1st Timothy 1:15, "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. The Word of God proclaims that Christ came to save sinners, not just certain sinners.

Listen to the plain teaching of 2nd peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." This Scripture clearly reveals that it is possible for ALL men to repent. God is NOT willing for any to perish. If Calvinism is correct, then how can you reconcile God's desire for all men to repent if He only predestinates certain of them to salvation? Calvinism makes no sense at all.

Furthermore, God never forces anyone to be saved. Not one instance in the Word of God is found where God forced anyone to get saved. Again, Titus 2:11 declares that the grace of God that brings salvation appears to ALL humanity. Psalm 19:1-3 clearly teaches that nature itself testifies of the goodness of God. Romans 1:20 teaches that God's eternal power and Godhead are CLEARLY presented in God's creation.

    Hi Chris,

I have plans beginning tomorrow of being in an area for a few days where I will not have service. May not have time today. But I want to reply. I think we are much closer to agreeing on this topic than we are presently perceiving. With further dialogue and clarifications we will have a better and deeper understanding of what each other's perception is.

    Blessings.

Revelation 5:13 certainly does seem to indicate that a worldwide praise of God occurs. The only question is; if this is not a chronological marker of the events immediately after the Rapture but indicates perhaps when the 2nd coming; or even Great White Throne judgment occurs when people are forced to bow. ( Isaiah 45:23; Philippians 2:11). In any event; it is pretty clear that by the sixth seal the world will be well aware of God the Father and the Son on the throne in heaven; and the fact that wrath has started. Perhaps there will be a full understanding of the Father and Son right after the Rapture; as the verse above seems to suggest. The world would be deceived; however in thinking that wrath doesn't begin until later; as the 1st Seal somehow will appear to be a solution to the world's problems. The Antichrist certainly will be a substitute for Christ ( John 5:43); and there is no verse that seems to indicate any denial of a Rapture event; and certainly worldwide Resurrections with empty tombs and damaged graveyards can't be denied. Undoubtably; there will be some message explaining why some weren't taken; and explaining away as a UFO abduction of those missing is a likely thing to occur. Everyone at that point will want to find solutions; and this super orator will appear to be the 12th Imam; Maitreya; or whatever figure best suits all those who don't love the truth but believe THE lie ( 2 THess. 2:11). This will also allow the one world government; currency and final "Beast" kingdom to be established.

When we look at the life of Christ; being praised in the streets one week before many turned against Him at the cross; we see how quickly men's hearts can turn. In the Tribulation; men will go from fearing God to attempting at the end to fight against Him ( Psalm 2; Rev. 19). It is also not inconceivable that men fear God yet still worship idols ( 2 Kings 17:41; Rev. 9:20-21).

Rev. 13:8 shows how all those not written in the Book of Life succumb

    Daniel Chapter 9

Gabriel decrees that the Messiah, Jesus will be put to death following the second period of 62 sevens or 434 years. If as many historians believe the birth of Jesus was in 4 BC, this accurately proclaims the year that Jesus was crucified.

25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem unto Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks (49 years)and three score and two weeks (434 years) the street shall be built again and the wall even in troublesome times.

Artaterxes in 453 BC gave the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem. The wall was rebuilt in 404 BC. Jesus was crucified in 30 AD. Shabua is the Hebrew word meaning a seven year period.

26 And after three score and two weeks (434 years) shall Messiah be cut off but not for himself (crucified) and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary thereof, shall be destroyed with a flood and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week(7 years) and in the midst of the week (3.5 years) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Mathew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place (whoso readeth let him understand). This is the defining sign before Jesus returns.

Then follows great tribulation from the midst of the week for 3.5 years prior to the return of Jesus to gather His elect (His Bride the Church triumphant).

Mt 24:29,30, 31 describe the return of Jesus after the tribulation. Joel 2:21 describes the sun being turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord. 1Thessalonians 4:15, 16, 17 describe the return of the Lord, also heralded by a trumpet. of a trumpet.

    John Chapter 5

2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

4 For AN ANGEL went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

This is all I could find. This man was healed by Jesus that day. The man had been born without eyeballs. Jesus spat on some soil and made this man, new eyes!!

No. In original Hebrew language, Genesis 1:1 reads: In Beginning. The writers added "the".

God first created TIME for mankind and other living things. So He sees inside and outside of time. He created humans in His IMAGE AND LIKENESS. He gifted us with freedom to make choices.

We can make good choices or bad ones. Like now, we can choose Jesus as Savior and Lord; and Jesus will Baptist us with the Holy Spirit. He teaches, explains and speaks to our born again human spirits. The closer we are to Him, the less volume he has to use.

I made that discovery on Genesis 1:1 because I was always trying to answer that one question that all scientists and scholars couldn't answer:

(TIME, FORCE, ACTION, MATTER). They couldn't produce a mathematical formula to explain 'time'.

I believe God gave it to us now, because a lot of scientists could be saved__IF__they can believe in God.

I'm having way more fun as a born again Christian. God says, seek ME.

Satan had no clue whatsoever that Jesus had defeated him once and for all in Bethlehem as a newborn baby HUMAN. Satan is a created angel. Not human. Earth was created FOR HUMANS. Jesus died for the sins of every human ever born; unborn in the womb, stillborn or miscarried. Heaven is POPULATED!!

You can meet this amazing God of Love in the pages of the Bible right now. Get a Reference Bible. It will take you to all the scriptures that will confirm or tell more story on what you're studying now. He will show you things that will make you say WOW!! Alot.

My son has a floor robot. It runs its path and scoops up kind of lint & stuff. That's what it's like for me, but I'm not a machine. I'm on a quest to discover all the hidden gems of wisdom hidden in all my ragged marked up Bibles.

    Follow Jesus.

In order to get to the beginning of Christ ya wd have to get back to the 1st time God Almighty ever spoke a WORD....Simply b/c Christ was Always the living word of God...He was always in the bosom of the FATHER....Impling the very mind of God Almighty....Thus Christ has no beginning as he was always the living WORD of GOD....And the living WORD the son was God ...Also

......2 distinct Beings but 1 kingdom both God ....But 1 wd have to die for the sins of the world...A body has thou prepared me...The Son wd have to die for the sins of the world...But the Father neva died ...The son cd not have died without a body....But that body was not a tererstial body it was a Celestial body...As he says i am from above, you are of this world but i am not of this world....You are from beneath but i am from above....Celestial...Unless you drink my blood and eat my flesh you will have no life in you....Whosoever eateth of me shall neva die.

.....But B/C of this great sacrifice of his only son....God made a Promise that CHRIST WD BE MULTIPLIED AS THE STARS OF HEAVEN Thus everyman wd get a Seed ...Every man will get a measure of faith. Unless a Seed falls into the ground and dies it abides ALONE...But if it dies it will bring forth much fruit....Many Christ as the stars of heaven....I will pour out of my Spirit on all FLESH....As my words/seeds are spirit and life....But when God made this great PROMISE he swore by himself impling he was gonna multiply himself....Thats y Jesus is saying to whom the WORD/SEED came it made them Gods..( the H.G. IS GOD ) and is the gift of GOD TO ALL....If i belifted up i will draw ALL men unto me....Thats y he is saying i was found of them that sought me not...I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me....Jesus is gonna draw all men unto him...wither we like it or not....While we were yet sinners Christ died for ALL of us....Mans carnal mind is the very enemy of God and wd neva want anything to do with God...But while we were YET Sinners

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"

And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'"

from this verse can one say God lied that they would die?

or were we created to never die in the beginning?

......Jesus said the Kingdom of God will come as a man who sows seed in his field.... Mark 4 : 25 kjv....And he says that the sower of that good seed is the SON OF MAN...Our hearts are that field.

...... Romans 14 : 17 KJV....The Kingdom of God is not in meat or drink...But in Joy and Peace in the H.G....Bill do you not see that the kingdom comes with the H.G....That is gonna be with in us the gift of God to everybody....I will pour out of my spirit on all flesh.... Joel 2 : 28 kjv
