Yes I will pray for you too hope you feel better I will ask God to heal you as soon as posible because no one likes being in rehab. Your Parents are probably so worried about you because sometimes you might think if your parents don't pray for you you don't think they care about you, but God always cares about you and he is always going to have a plan for you. I will pray really hard. feel better soon.

Proverbs 24:26 Italicized are not worthy additions on this verse, as there are they that reject a wise, timely, truth at times.

The attrition rate in Chrisendom is grevious. Partly because of unfaithful translations, and also sharer's lack of anointing. Also mess with our memory verses. We know *GOD* keeps *HIS* WORD. Unfaithful supposed do gooders have lots to answer for. Rev 22:18,19.

Thankfully some better KJV publishers still show the italicised.

    Hi Chris,

Regarding John 17:5 : "Glorify thee with with thine own self" (Self). Creation is an extension of self. In this sense meaning, extend God's whole being (qualities, His Mind) unto Jesus. "which I had with thee before the world was.", meaning Jesus was an extension (creation) of God before man entered the world. Jesus has nothing that does not come from God. The difference between us and Jesus is that He has nothing else. As I've previously stated, God created Jesus (Christ); Jesus did not create God.This is Their only difference. So, is Jesus God? No, in the sense that He didn't create the Creator. Yes, in the sense that He has everything of/from the Creator (Source) and thinks and responds and speaks ONLY what the Voice for God (Holy Spirit) communicates.

How does this fit into the idea of the Trinity? God Is. God is God, in His Kingdom, where nothing but perfect Love exists. No fear/hate (or even thoughts of fear and hate) can enter. His Kingdom is holy where perfect peace dwells. Nothing changes (no duality). Nothing there within or without can affect it. God's omnipotence can't be usurped. The Holy Spirit is simply God's Voice. Jesus is the Christ, APPEARING as man, our mediator. We need this mediator because without Him the distance between God and man would be too great for us to encompass and overcome. This Trinity is One even though they appear to have different functions. They are One BECAUSE They share a common purpose, and what shares a common purpose is the same.

A good way to describe the Trinity is this: The Trinity in It's oneness transcends the sum of it's parts. I perceive the same concerning the Sonship: God has only One Son. If all His creations are His sons, then everyone must be an integral part of the whole Sonship. And the Sonship in its Oneness transcends the sum of it's parts.

And may I be so bold as to say that God would be incomplete without us (His Creations).

    Peace to all.

    The gift of faith

This is perhaps the hardest to explain; although any one else's interpretation would be helpful. I have understood this to mean an unusually strong unction to believe in answers to prayer and in all circumstances trusting God. It would certainly seem that with any other gift maturity and Godly living as well as trying to heed to God's voice could accomplish growth in faith; at least in general. This probably is better understood with itinerant missionaries with limited communications with the outside world; limited funds; resources and food supply available.

The balance has to be with the fact that some individuals CLEARLY have closer; more intimate communication with God; who blesses them so that "men can praise God for their good works" ( Matthew 5:16) while others have the tenacity to seek after Him through persistent prayer. The problem that can arise in BOTH cases is when we get caught up with ourselves. Should a ministry name itself after someone; or an individual be put on a larger than life status then surely that pride leads us to a fall.

Therefore; as with any giftings we all need each other. It is for edification of the Body; hence one person can clearly see how to pray and what to pray; but another has a much clearer picture of the person being lifted up knowing them personally who can shed further light on a situation. So someone mature in faith must be open to someone else praying who the Spirit moves as well as vice versa.

There is also the case of those who are tares among the wheat. If there are those who expouse false doctrines; or are living a lifestyle of unrepentant sin; we are asked if they claim to be Christins not to even sit and eat with them. ( 1 Cor. 5:11). I would say emphatically that we should NOT ask them to pray for us and if they ask politely decline. The demons that are controlling them no doubt will attempt to influence us to follow the same paths to destruction.

Good day, I was given a verse of scripture, Ecc 11:4(KJV) which is supposed to read: "Boast not of thy clothing and raiment, and exalt not thyself in the day of honour: for the works of the Lord are wonderful, and his works among men are hidden." When I sought the scripture above, it says something something totally different. You may want to correct it. Thank you
  • Richard H Priday - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 3 years ago
It would seem that absolutely; the falling away and removal of candlesticks is occurring. This is especially sobering when we see the admonition to the church in Ephesus whose only criticism from Christ Himself is that they had lost their first love ( Rev. 2:4).

Everything else they were doing doctrinally; discernment wise with false teaching etc was on par yet they still faced having their candlestick removed; and that was back before the end of the first century! (actually it says have their "lampstand" removed).

It is helpful here to see how individuals in the Book of Revelation in chapter 2 and 3 are addressed to along WITH an entire congregation. CLEARLY apostasy; i.e. falling away was characterizing the vast majority of the Sardis church; nonetheless certain individuals were said to be worthy and would walk with Him in white garments. There is a potential at least for the Laodiceans; but clearly we should guard our hearts; and walk away from apostacy if we are in a place where leadership concurs with false teaching and there is not support of others to rebuke those in authority.

1 Timothy chapter 4 talks about the falling away in the last days. Even 1 John 4:12 discusses the fact that there are already many antichrists in that first century church. The OVERALL degrading of churches that for decades or centuries held to doctrinal truths certainly shows us how soon His return must be.

God warns us in Rev. 3:11 indicates that we may lose our crown to someone else if not careful. We need to be around those who are sharpening one another as "iron sharpens iron" ( Prov. 27:17). Surely; the Lord will lead us to good fellowship; if not for any other reason that we are commanded to assemble together even more so as we see the Lord's soon coming ( Heb. 10:25 loosely translated). The remnant will be found; of course it can take some time. The question now is whether we should; as the famous song says; hold out; walk away or run.

    Be blessed. Agape.

If you keep in context that Jesus is the Son of God that verse in Hebrews 1 makes sense .

God s Kingdom lasts forever , and Jesus His Son has been given Rule over it as promised to King David .

It's Gods Kingdom , not Jesus s Kingdom , did he get that ?

Brenda remember Mary and Martha....Martha was troubled with much working and serving but Mary only wanted to sit at feet and hear his words....And Martha asked the lord to speak to my sister Mary to come and help me...I SERVE ALONE.

......But Jesus answered Martha saying you are troubled with many things but MARY HAS CHOSEN THAT GOOD PART THAT SHALL NOT BE TAKEN AWAY FROM HER....The good part is to sit at his feet and hear his Words of the Kingdom.... Luke 10 :40

.....Jesus said to labor not for the meat that parishes but for that BREAD that endured unto everlasting life that the SON of man shall give unto you.

......Remember God furnished a table in the Wilderness....Take no though for your life what ye shall eat or drink .. Your father knows what you have need of b/f you even ask him...If he feeds the birds he will feed you....Trush in him for your everything.

    To All

I loved this site. it is like family and when you do not have one it is a good place to come. I guess I thought this subject could be discussed but seems like I was wrong. I have never denied the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. In my posts I never said the Son of God was created, I said begotten, and we do not know how He was begotten.

Jesus was the beginning of creation Alpha, the beginning He was begotten before anything in the entire creation, nothing was before the Son of God. He was already begotten when God sent and gave Him. He was not begotten in Marys' womb, because everything through Him was created. I feel I listed scripture for everything I said and never was trying to be sneaky or tried to prove anything not true.

I have always treated everyone with love and have always said it is my understanding and have never been dogmatic on any subject. I have never judged and told anyone they were wrong or have I ever belittled anyone. The response I have received is baseless and hurtful.

I am sorry my posts were misunderstood, but as I said they are my understanding and I stand by salvation is only in/through Jesus by the grace of God and through the faith of Jesus is salvation and eternal life and nothing can be placed above that.

Jesus was the beginning of creation and Jesus the Son of God will end this creation in the heavens and the earth when He turns it back to the Father and God makes all new. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending.

    God bless you all,

Hi Marlene, I made a research and found out that:

The original Hebrew reads "Hkthnth phsim" which is translated as "tunic of distinction" and further interpreted (by Jews) as "a coat of [many] colours". The Septuagint (Greek) text says "chitona poikilon" which means "tunic of many [colours]".

1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. ( Paul didn't say he knew it all) I really doubt anyone else does.

Revelation 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

10 (I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day), and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Was in the Spirit of the Lord and writing what he was told. So many have tried but have been wrong.

    Hi Marlene,

Interesting question. I clicked on the verse then scrolled down to the Strong's translation info and then viewed other translations on that page and it does appear some interpreted it as a long coat but others many colors. I believe there are some in this forum that speak Hebrew so it would be nice to get their opinion when they read the original Hebrew.

Amen. John 1:2-3 debunks the false doctrine of Jesus being "created" and some try to retrofit the word "begotten" word to make it seem like it means that instead of its actual meaning "only". I wonder where this recent movement trying to deny Jesus's divinity originates from, because it seems like a recent attack, perhaps even coordinated.

Thanks Chris for your reply! I agree with the thought that the "Word was with God and the Word was God". I think the difference in beliefs is what happened when the in Word was made flesh. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. I believe he was full of "grace and truth". He carried nature of God, but needed the grace of God and had to access it like we do. That is why he prayed, fasted, etc to resist temptation. Luke 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. v 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Isaiah 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: I believe he reflected his father at all times. Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; The following verse to me is interesting indicating that we have been given the glory that God gave him. John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: A mystery I have: is when was he considered the begotten Son and when did that happen. Psalm 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. These thoughts are not all inclusive, but enough hopefully to clear any misunderstandings.
  • JOB's HEALING - In Reply - 3 years ago
Job was right with God. He was very conscious to give honor and praise. Satan saw this and wanted to prove he could trip up Job. But God knew what kind of faith Job had.

Satan had studied Job making sacrifices for his kids to be sure everything was covered. (The children liked to have parties). So Satan thought that would cripple Jobs faith! He attacked the kids, the houses, animals.

IT WAS SATAN in the wind storm (like a tornado), that wiped out everything Job had and loved. It Wasn't God that did it. He doesn't cause the tragedies that happen in our lives. Satan even sent "concerned friends to drop by and try to tear apart Jobs faith. Terrible things happen. Loss, heartbreak. SATAN is the one that ACCUSES US that our faith is belly up Done. He is the accuser of the brethren. That reality should cause us to do what Job did. In his pain, he sat and waited on God; believed God loved him; God didn't cause this. Dead or alive, he was going to believe in his Lord. Because God is Love. God is good. That's what we all must remember.

This one book tells us what God is like. No matter our losses, fears, and doubts about the future; God will get us through it.

In the New Testament, Jesus teaches that THROUGH HIM AND HIS AUTHORITY over everything: He (deputized) Authorized Believers, to use His Authority just as He used it. He cast out Satan and every demon..causing harm, loss, sickness, to show His disciples how to carry it forward after his departure back to heaven.

We are His Disciples! Every blood bought Christian has been AUTHORIZED to use the NAME OF JESUS. IN JESUS NAME Command cancer to COME OUT, bow it's knee and GO..INTO OUTER DARKNESS! DO NOT RETURN.

DO NOT LISTEN to the lying demons that will say God failed you. Like Job, wait upon God and PRAISE HIM NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.

    Fight, rest, repeat.

Hi Virgie , I'm sure you must know that you are never alone , God is with you and so is Jesus , all day every day , they know exactly how you are feeling and why you are feeling this way . My advice ? Pour your heart out to God through Christ your sinless redeemer . He is waiting to hear from you , He is waiting for you to talk to Him , honestly and openly , do not be afraid to tell Him honestly , how you feel , He wants your honesty . Have you been praying regularly and reading His Word regularly ? If not , get to it girl smiley face . As for your family , are they also Christians ? Did you bring them up to be independent people ? Do they think that you are very independent and strong ? Maybe that's why they don't reach out to you too much , you brought them up too well smiley face . Perhaps if you allowed them to see a more vulnerable side to you they would respond , let them know that you miss and love them and would like to see them a bit more , sometimes you have to let your guard down a little bit with people , it's risky I know , but it can be very much worth it in the end . Also , come on here and have a chat to us , much love to you in Christ .

I have enjoyed the many scriptures that prove that Jesus is God....As Hebrews 1 : 8...But unto the Son he says thy THRONE O GOD IS FOREVER AND EVER...A Sceptre of righteousness is the Sceptre of thy Kingdom...God the Father is refering to the Son (Christ Jesus ) as God the Son and having a kingdom.

.....But what really does it for me is his ability to propagate his seed his word in the hearts of ppl causing them to birth the H.G. which is God....B/C i have spoken these words ( his seeds sorrows have filled your hearts a spritual pregnancy....that is gonna result in a Baby Christ the H.G.)....That he refers to as the Promise which is the multiplication of GOD in us....Jesus was reproducing very God with his seed when he breathe on them....Thats y he was saying that which is born of the Spirit is spirit which is the H.G. That Child of Promise....Y is the H.G. the child of Promise simply b/c he fulfilles that great Promise of multiplication of God ....When God Swore that Christ wd be multiplied as the Stars of heaven.

......And Jesus said to whom the word came ( his seed, his breath ) it made them Gods....Thus Christ is truly able to reproduce very God with his seed....And God has already told us that everything has to multiply after its kind Gen. 1 : 8 kjv ....Jesus cd not reproduce after the Spirit if he were not the GOD kind .....Everything has to multiply after its kind according to its seed these are the words of God Almighty....When ya read the parable of the Sower and his seed try to realize that the Sower of that good seed is the bridegroom thus the wheat is a Baby Christ a Baby God....Thats y he is saying whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receiveth me...Remember God swore himself when he made that great PROMISE of multiplication....Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in....Y is the good seed a baby Christ simply b/c that good seed is the living WORD which is the very seed of God THAT PROMISE SEED.

  • Requirements of Church Positions - In Reply - 3 years ago
In my experience, church positions have requirements described in the Bible. We need to follow guidelines.

2022 is a far cry from church services in 1960's. People doing Gods work need to examine themselves according to scripture.

It is not at all unusual to make an appointment with the associate Pastor to discuss any questions you might have.

Genesis 37:23 Strong's 5646 (coat of) many breadths: I found a question about this, often translated as "many colors" on Quora. The inquiry was about how this word differs in many translations. Another rendering is of many stripes. I have heard that this might refer to comprising strips of different animals' pelts. Whichever the case, it was a special coat or garment and the brothers were jealous because it separated him from them. He was his favorite son and had been treated as special compared to his brothers. They dipped it in goat's blood to take back to the father as a plot to convince him that Joseph had been killed by an animal. The quora question wanted an explanation regarding the various renderings. I tried to find this discussion in commentaries but failed. Perhaps someone else on this forum could give a more thorough explanation for me to present to the person who posted the pertaining question.

  • EXTENDED ALTAR CALLS - In Reply - 3 years ago
Hi Eng. I noticed a long time ago, when I hit my finger with a hammer; the other hand immediately clamps the hand in pain. It happens all the time (to me). I kinda thought the Lord was showing me something?

If you watch people in any brand of Church, go to the front for prayer?

    1. Women pray for women, laying a hand on the shoulder.

    2. Men pray with men. Hand on shoulder.

Everyone in the pews wait to be dismissed by Pastor. If the Holy Spirit is present, it's respectful to wait until the altar call is concluded.

Unforgiveness is sort of like a LAWSUIT without a Ruling or a Decision.

It takes way more ENERGY to maintain unforgiveness.

Forgive, in Jesus Name. Forbid Satan to keep stirring the ashes.

If that person refuses to drop the issue; that may be a friend you need to let go. Forgive. Take their name out of your contact list.

If 2 Christians "go to law" with each other, both of them are being heard in the Court of Heaven.

Our lives are harder when we don't read the Bible that often. We have great times together in here sorting through various scriptures that help explain things better. It's fun.
  • Mark francis - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Reply to Chris.

Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit all exhibit the uniqueness attributable only to God, even though each is somehow spoken of as separate from God. God is Triune and therefore difficult for humans to understand. Humans also have divisions that are not easily understandable, although not separate entities like the Trinity of God. We have spirits, souls, and bodies, and they 3 are one, as we see in 1 John 5:

    1 John 5:8

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Another reference to the divisions in men is found in Hebrews 4:

    Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Another example can be gleaned from Romans 7:

14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
  • WHY THEY WERE NOT WORKING - In Reply on 2 Thessalonians 3 - 3 years ago
It seems that there were those in Thessalonica who were refusing to work, assuming that since "Jesus would return at any minute", they didn't need to. Paul dispels the nonsense as laziness and reminds them of their previous policy when he was present. No work, no food.

God created man on the sixth day with two basic purposes by which he would fulfill his primary purpose to glorify God as a bearer of the Divine Image: working and multiplying. Perhaps multiplying could be left off in the New Testament Age based on Paul's teaching concerning singleness ( 1 Cor 7:7), and based on the fact that there seems to be no reproduction in eternity ( Mt 22:30). But working will be a part of our eternal existence. It is what we were made for, not only in this life but also in the next.

Each man and woman has been given a deposit of talent, energy, and resources. God will return and demand an account for our usage. Furthermore, he has promised that throughout our lives we are to live by the principle of stewardship and faithfulness, and we will be added increase as we prove capable. To refuse to work is an affront to the Creator and should not be rewarded or tolerated in the church.

The Gospel, unlike the Old Covenant, is not about rules, per se. It is about the grace of God that transforms a heart into a lover of God and his Kingdom and righteousness. But the apostles did sometimes give "rules" when necessary, and only those which accorded with grace and the Gospel. In this case, the problem of laziness was so prevalent, it had to be addressed as a rule.

There are certainly instances when a Christian is unable to work, whether because of a depressed economy, or a disability. But it is often the case that what is called inability is really an excuse for unwillingness. At nearly all costs, a human, an image-bearer of God, should make themselves useful and add value to their society.
