    Hi Tracy,

The Truth is always found in the bible scripture.

Paul wasn't the first one, nor the only one who preached the Gospel to the Gentiles. According to Acts, Peter was the first to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles. Peter received a vision from the Lord and received a command to preach to the Gentiles in the house of Cornelius the gentile. The Gentiles were filled with the Holy Spirit and were baptized.

Also, I agree with sister GiGi the scripture teaches us that Paul teaches the same gospel as Jesus. Here are some additional Bible verses telling us that the "Gospel of The Kingdom of God" which is Jesus Christ's Gospel, was preached to the entire world.

    Mark 16:15

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

    Mark 13:10

"And the gospel must first be published among all nations."

    Matthew 28:19

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"

    Acts 1:8

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

    Revelation 14:6

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,"

Happy Sabbath Day, and God Bless!

    Hey Tracy,

We see in Matt. 10:6 Jesus told His disciples not to go to the Gentiles and Matt. 15:24 He confirms He first came for the lost sheep of Israel. Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets.

Why did Jesus say, "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel"? Other scripture also says the Jew first, Luke 24:47 Acts 3:25-26 Romans 1:16 Romans 2:9-10 and more, for what reason? To fulfill prophecy.

The Prophecy is the 70-week prophecy that many places the last week in the future. This prophecy was for the house of Israel/Judea and Jerusalem, Daniel 9:24 and these 70 weeks were determined to finish the transgression, make an end of sins, make reconciliation for iniquity, bring in everlasting righteousness, seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

From when Jesus was baptized until He was crucified was 3 1/2 years, John recorded the Passovers Jesus went to and Jesus was crucified on the fourth. These 3 1/2 years Jesus was confirming the covenant, to save the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The entire prophecy was about the coming of the Messiah that the leaders rejected.

Verse 25 tells the time the Messiah would come, verse 26 tells the Messiah would be cut off and the destruction of the city and temple, and in verse 27 he in this verse is the Messiah and the week of confirming the covenant, in the middle of the week 3 1/2 years Jesus cut off/ crucifixion, the final sacrifice, ending the animal sacrificial law. In the last half of the week, Jesus through His apostles confirmed the covenant in Jerusalem.

We see in Acts 7 the key verse is Acts 7:57, the cried out and stopped their ears with one accord, then the great persecution of the church that ended the 70-week prophecy. Shortly after Peter had his dream and Jesus appeared to Saul/Paul and the gospel was sent to the Gentiles the branch broke off but it will be grafted back in.

This is short but may you study it, I am sure many will disagree.

    God bless,

    RLW

    Hello Chris:

I respectfully do understand your point of view. This topic as we know had been discussed and debated for sure many many times in the past. What men learned from history is that men never learned. We are where we are today because of men doing. I simply have chosen the path of God through prayers and supplications and daily Bible reading to feed my soul. Anyone can do the same or follow what men said in the past. We are in the last days. God needed strong soldiers who would follow God's will, please God and not men.

I strongly follow the path of God. I humbly can say am very appreciative of the outcome thus far. I have no authority to make or even attempt to persuade someone to believe what I believe. God knows we ought to believe ONLY God. I took all readings seriously when God opened my heart and mind to the truth. In my own experience I took everything seriously anyway as if I am serving God. He gave me a job to understand the beginning and ending of any transaction. I became a Corporate Auditor of one of the three biggest companies in the world. I say this not to brag or convinced anybody but to magnify how serious we (all) need to be when it comes to making any conclusion. Times are tough. We listen to all men you will be frustrated time and time again. Don't get me wrong. I love to listen to ALL men and women. They all have very great things to say. But ultimately, I have chosen to listen to God. God never fail. Now I can assured you that my paths were not pretty here on earth, because I am still in my corruptible fleshy filthy body. Now I just simply walk in spirit as we are told to do by God. Very difficult I must say but we must do in order to carry on the will of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

So applying prudent logic in choosing my conclusion, I simply read all given facts presented to humanity. The entire Bible is so magnificent book to read. The truth is presented to us.. Let the Holy Spirit guide us.

1st and 2nd Esdras are definitely ordained scripture. Do your research. In 1611 the King James Bible was transliterated into different languages (published) it originally had 80 books. Two and seventy years later the Protestants took it out because they realized that the Bible was only for one people and one people only the Israelites so to say it's not scripture or wasn't accepted is blasphemy. Those 14 books to include the Esdras books were in the original Bible for 270 years. The Romans ie the Protestants took it out to confuse the people. If this verse was in the Bible in 1611 when it was published explain why the 14 books lasted for 270 years and then removed

"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

    Revelation 22:19 KJV

Explain that.don't go anywhere else.explain that and that only!!!!!

    Hellow Dgjot.

Only God knows what is in the heart of people, we cannot judge since many times we have been proved wrong.

When I actually believed in Jesus, God opened my eyes to see the truth, it was like there was a cover around me and somebody pulled that away and suddenly a bright light turned on and saw the world as it actually is, not how I thought it were, with a different perception. Although I knew all those things about faith and Jesus and eternal life and the Hebrew history from school, we get tought them in school over here, actually it was like we were learning some kind of mythology or ancient tales and stories, nothing really got inside our heart. We had a sort of vague belief about God. There are lots of people here that love Jesus Christ but they never heard of new birth, baptism in the Spirit, or they consider these were only in the early times, don't take place in the church any more. They worship saints and angels and Mary and many other things just because they were taught that this is the proper way to serve God. Many of them are born again but don't know it. Others think that they are OK since they don't steal, don't kill, as if only these are sins. Others especially the new generations follow the corruptive ways of the world because they think this is progressive now, Christianity is a past thing. If one tries to talk to them about Jesus the way they don't know, they reject him thinking that all those strange things coming from abroad are going to spoil their true(?) faith. I think its the same in all the southern Europe, Italy, Spain, southern France, Portugal, the Balkans etc. People love God but they are trapped in their traditions and denominations. In the North people are completely atheists. I once lived in England for a while and I was surpised that people never even mention God in no case. They don't know Jesus even as a story. How sad. People think they move forward but are moving toawards their distraction. God help us.

    Blessed w/e.

I have read ODB for a number of years, even though it apparently uses other bible versions than the KJV. This morning I believe the Lord pricked me to make my first ever comment to concerning Our Daily Bread (ODB). The ODB reading in the Bible this morning main them was charity, not love. Although close, these two attributes are like apples and oranges.

I know it's difficult to see. And perhaps more difficult to accept. But I was raised on the campus of a fundamentalist Christian university. We were required to memorize and hand write in cursive and sometimes calligraphy entire passages of scripture. The Mandela effects are plentiful in scripture. Research the twelve tribes of Israel. And, yes, it will show the changed text in every translation you can find. But you will find the original passage in books, like I did in John Eldridge's and Henri Nouwen's. The effects go beyond scripture. Do you recall the children's series "The Berensein Bears"? My sister married and had three children with someone whose name was almost identical to that and also ends in "stein." Of course I would remember that correctly as my two children do. But if you research it, you will be told that you are "misremembering" it if you disagree. That's what makes it so mysterious and unexplainable. Perhaps God is trying to get our attention to not make assumptions about everything we've been led to believe from the pulpit about The Bible. Perhaps God is disappointed with The Church, it's divisiveness and "othering." Perhaps it is God's subtle message to us to ultimately check our hearts for truth. To be still. To "go within" to find the Kingdom of Heaven. I can't speak for others, but for me, when I was an active member of my church, there was very little time for contemplation and inner work. And I believe that is why the pandemic was allowed. It forced us into solitude. Many have been awakened because of it. I'm only saying that it's always wise to keep an open mind in our search for truth. But Christianity is the only religion that I'm aware of where questioning is disallowed. Think of the implications of that. What other systems do you see that playing out in in the world? It's time for sober reflection and wisdom IMO. Thank you for your reply.

Hi Ronnette. The figures of speech in prophecy can be many with various interpretations. We tend to apply it to what we know or what we think is a problem. Just a few scriptures and thoughts on Rev. 17,18. A whore or harlot in the scripture is one who has many lovers (sources of affection). Just the wording to me suggests it is a church that lost their first love and fallen away from the truth."Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird". Notice the word "become" (she wasn't at one time) and is "fallen" (was standing at one time). Another verse to consider Verse 7: she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Interpretation: "I sit a queen" she thinks she is married to the King. "am no widow" her husband is alive (risen). "shall see no sorrow" (nothing I do will lose this standing) "eternal security." Just some thoughts that has come over the years.

    Isaiah 49:15

"But Zion (nowdays all of us) said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls (and your lives) are continually before me."

Be encouraged. If God is with us who can be against us? ( Rom 8:31)

    Have a blessed weekend.

    Dear brother/sister

Its the Holly Spirit that "makes" or creates " things. God (both The Father and The Son) always make things through His HS. He (HS) is the person who executes the will, the commands of God. As a man uses his hands to make something, God uses His Spirit, that's why in the Bible, especially in OT, the HS is often called the hand or arm of God.

Jesus in His earthly life performed miracles and casted out demons by the Spirit of God. The Apostles too, we too. Its always the HS

One Eighty Gods word says what it means and means what it says so create and made in action are different. To create is to

speak something into existance which never existed before. To make something is to produce with what is already in existance

i.e. a potter with clay and water, when a plant is grown you have seed soil water and air. Only God can create.

Tracy Jesus Christ and Paul taught the same gospel because in practice its summed up in 1Corinthians 13 which sums

up walking by the spirit or agapeo the love of God in the renewed mind or mathew 22:37-40.

Hi David , Ive heard about the importance of numbers in scripture and there definately does seem to be some patterns and significance to them , however , there are certain people who twist these symbolic meanings and use them for their own agenda , they are known as numerologists and their beliefs and practices are definately not Christian . I think we all need to be aware of their evil intentions and give them a wide berth . I know thats not what you were referring to for sure you are a Christian brother , others , not so strong in faith , may be influenced and side tracked by these wicked people . Much love to you in Christ .

Naseem gbu but you do greatly err... John 5 :23 ....Jesus said that all men should honor the SON even as they honor the Father he that honoreth not the SON honoreth not the Father that has sent him.

.....When he bringeth the 1 st begotton into the world God instructs all angels to worhip him...God himself wd be braking the 1st commandment if he instructed all the angels to worship his son if he were not God the son.... Hebrews 1 : 6

......But unto the SON he says Thy THRONE O GOD IS FOREVER AND EVER.. Hebrews 1 : 8....A sceptre of righteousness is the Sceptre of THY KINGDOM...Unto the SON he says

.......Naseem but the way we know without a doubt that Jesus IS truly God is b/c of his seed the WORD....He says to whom the WORD CAME ( HIS SEED ) IT MADE THEM GODS and the scripture cannot be broken....Don'cha see that he is able to propagate, reproduce after the God kind... Matthew 13 :37 KJV ...Jesus said he that soweth the GOOD SEED is the Son of man.

.....And also John 17 : 5 ....Jesus prayed Father Glorify thou me with thine own self.....EVEN WITH THE GLORY I HAD WITH YOU B/F THE WORLD WAS....He was spirit b/f he was flesh....He only took on flesh and blood to die for the sins of the world humanity.....Thats y he said b/f Abraham was i am.....He always existed and was with God as the living WORD.... John 1

.....Naseem when he breathe on them he was propagating very God with his breath which was his words his seeds....Remember what God said everything has to multiply after its KIND...According to his seed...The Child that they birth was the H.G. THAT Child of PROMISE....Emanuel....His seed is the very seed of God....Spirits can be born in us by his seed ...Thats y he is saying to whom the word came it made them Gods....And that which is born of the spirit is spirit as God is spirit.

Maybe I could clarify a few things, Ronnette.

Judas Iscariot, with the other eleven, were never apostles while they travelled around with Jesus. They were called Disciples (i.e. a student, a follower of a Rabbi or teacher). They were only known as Apostles after Jesus died, arose from the grave, & He sent them out into the world. Apostle, means 'one sent out; a messenger'.

After Judas Iscariot died, Matthias was appointed as his replacement & this appointment was from God ( Acts 1:24-26, i.e. the eleven prayed asking God to direct them to this new disciple). So, men did not choose Matthias, God did by their casting of lots. And this had to be, as Peter declared, by referring to the fulfilment of Psalm 41:9; Psalm 69:25 and Psalm 109:8.

True, we don't hear of Matthias, but the lack of information doesn't mean that he just disappeared & went back to his occupation, or whatever else. We don't hear again of several of the other disciples either after Acts 1:13.

Paul was an apostle of Jesus Christ. As was Apostle Barnabas ( Acts 14:14), James (the Lord's half-brother; Galatians 1:19), possibly Timothy & Silas ( 1 Thessalonians 1:1; 1 Thessalonians 2:6, if Paul was using 'we' to refer to them as apostles as well). And Paul often had to emphasize his apostleship to the Churches, & even defend it, as believers were being seduced to believe otherwise (as much of 2nd Corinthians indicate).

So, from what we read in the Scriptures, Matthias was the twelfth disciple, being an apostle, & subsequently, Paul & others were either called by the Lord to apostleship, or considered as apostles because of their ministry of getting the Gospel out.

We are continued to be reminded that our minds are corrupted with the flesh and of the world. We kill the just both mentally, physically and spiritually. Though the world seems to be in charge, the BIBLE tells us to

v8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

v9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

The LORD is at hand, HIS righteousness and perfect judgement will not be stopped or corrupted for the LORD is very pitiful, and of tender mercy v11. I believe that although we are asking for the LORD to come now as we go through our current national woes; our hearts will grieve when we stand as witnesses of the lost coming to stand before the LORD at the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT and we see the final sentence being carried out. We have the remedy for all the maladies before us. Though we cannot make the lost, and hardened heart to accept the salvation of CHRIST, we have a job as ambassadors of the kingdom to do carry out the commandment we were all given to do. Matthew 28: 18-20.

The devil has blinded the eyes of many ( 2 Corinthians 4: 3-6). Let us therefore go forward and pull out as many as we can out of the fire Jude 20-25.

GOD bless the saints that we be strong in the LORD and in the power of HIS might.

July 16, 2022 Pray of our nation's leaders and for the peace of Jerusalem.

Another Scripture is found in Titus 3:4-6, "But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour."

In fact, these verses tell us that no 'works of righteousness', not even one, will entitle us or enable us towards God's Salvation - salvation is all of God's Mercy shown towards us, where regeneration & renewal is the outcome through Christ's Blood & Work of His Holy Spirit. If even one effort on our part is made to secure, or make doubly sure, of our salvation, then salvation is by our efforts which most religions pursue, but never realized. Then salvation comes through man & God's Grace can never work for them.

    Hello Wayne,

I just want to warn you to stay away from writings from Bullinger and other ultra-dispensationalists as they teach boat loads of error that contradict and do not align with Scripture although they claim to be the ones who truly rightly divide Scripture. Beware of such cultic groups.
