    Good morning Adam,

I have been busy with matters concerning my Mom's passing and the drama of difficult family members who make this time more stressful and challenging. I read the posts here every day. There just have not been many posts I have felt led to respond to lately.

Overall, I am doing well. Been working on garden stuff, building a workbench for my new garden shed, and other outdoor projects.

    Thank you for asking.

    Sorry, I meant Colossians 3:20-21.

    Denise,

Colossians 3:20-12, or Ephesians 6:1-5 might be what you're looking for?

    Jimmy,

Here's some things I would like to share with you. Revelation 8:6 to Chapter 11 Verse 19 gives us the description of the 7 trumpets. Revelation 8:7 is the first trumpet. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood. It's becoming very intense! And they were cast upon the earth: and 1/3 of the trees was burnt up, as well as the grass, or green vegetation.

Only 1/3 of the trees was burnt up, so any grass that was below those trees would burn also. That would be 1/3 of the grass in that area. To make sense of Revelation 9:4, we would have to believe that not all grass on the entire earth was burnt up because it tells us the locusts were commanded not to hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing or any tree.

Here's what fascinates me. Why would God command these locusts not to hurt the green vegetation? It's because these things are the locusts' natural food. These locusts would quickly die out without the vegetation to sustain them, and God's plan was for them to live and torment those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Revelation 9:5 says that they were to torment them for five months. Something else that's interesting is why five months? Well, five months is the actual lifespan of a locust, from May through December.

As for Revelation 22:18-19, Verse 18 is basically telling us that there are no more "new prophecies" after the book of Revelation. Anyone adding more is adding to the book. Revelation 22:19 says "if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life."

Please notice that it doesn't say the book of the Lamb. God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. We don't want to take away from the book of Revelation and make it be something else rather than what it is. It is the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

    I hope this helps!

    Dear Kathi

There are two theories about animals' souls.

    1. The animals do not have souls.

    2. They do have souls but they are not immortal, they die together with the physical body.

In both cases, after death the animal ceases to exist.

    Dear Jennifer.

    My understanding about this is:

Our spirit is us, ourselves, who we are, our egos, our personality, where our conscious is located, where emotions and thoughts are generated. Our spirit dwells in a spiritual body called soul, which because is spiritual it cannot live in the physical world. So we were given a physical body where the soul dwells in, so we can live in the physical world. The soul is eternal, cannot die. After death the soul is separated from the dead physical body and goes accordingly to one's life either with God in Heaven or away from God in hell. When our dead physical bodies will be ressurected they will be changed, they will become immortal, glorified, of a spiritual form. They will not get ill, not die, not get hurt...And the soul will again be united with our new glorified body and we are going to live together with our God in the new earth that God will make happily for ever.

Ezekiel Ch 18 V 20-24 , we are in agreement Alex , if we have entered into a covenant relationship with God , then when Christ returns we shall be judged and then hopefully made immortal . I'm looking forward to this most awesome day , imagine the love that shall surround us as the bride of Christ , it's going to be overwhelming , I can't wait to meet everyone on here , there are going to be hugs ! Much love in Christ . If you can wait a day or two I can give more references , I'm so busy helping my mom and step dad at the moment , I want to answer properly but don't always have the energy .

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Suze Gbu and i know that you know more about the bible then i do...But let me just say this....1 st Cor.. 15 : 53..This Corruptible must put on Incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality...then comes the saying death is swollowed up in Victory O grave where is thy sting. O grave where is thy victory etc..The sting of sin is death etc...So maybe we are gonna be immortal

.....In a moment in the twinkling of an eye we are gona be changed...And the dead will be raised incorruptible...But thanks be to God that gives us the victory thru Christ Jesus....And we also have to remember what Jesus said to whom the word came it made them Gods...And the scripture cannot be broken....Something to think about

    Dear Faye,

What your dream tells you is that the Bible KJV only was inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. All things God wants us to know is already given to us all. We must not listen to men. We must read His words as our daily bread. Jesus Christ fulfilled everything for us. What a wonderful life we live and to be given the opportunity to live today of the church age.We are the church, the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, the fellow heirs, the sons of God, the saints. The Catholic or any religion sect will not save any person. Apostle Paul was the last Apostle chosen by Jesus Christ. God reveals to Paul only what we must do in these last days. Paul's Gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Paul also wrote the book of Romans to Philemon. The entire Bible is an amazing book that any child and adult can learn from figure of speeches in English Literature, true Historical Event for exact time, people at exact places. Geography, Political Science, true science, Math. You may even think school may use the Bible as a foundation to teach all major subjects in all grade level. That was my dream job-to build a school only based on the foundation of the WORD OF GOD. Sorry for the digression. In conclusion, God has given us all the account of what happened yesterday, today and in the future. What more one can one do? Get wisdom, knowledge only with the best teacher in the entire Universe-God. We continue to grow in grace, feel at peace and joy from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Agape.

Hi Julian , I'm honestly not trying to be contentious and this is a genuine comment , I don't believe that we humans are eternal , only God is eternal , if we were eternal then death wouldn't be our enemy or a punishment for our sins or need a sacrifice for us to continue living , do you see what I'm saying ? If we were eternal than death would be nothing to us . I hope I explained myself ok . Death is the enemy and without Christ we would be in big trouble .

  • T. Levis - In Reply on Matthew 6 - 3 years ago
I hope you will get other answers too.

I've understood it as watching dark things, allowing unholy images inside, instead turn away. Matthew 6:22-23,

Mark 9:47, Matthew 18:9, Luke 11:34-36, also seems to emphasise purity in what we see, choices. Mark 7:20-23, Matthew 20:15, it's used as harsh judgement, possibly seeing through judgemental eyes. Also Luke 6:42,

    Hope this is helpful

    GiGi,

First of all, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. My prayers go out to you and your family during this tough time. I am blessed and humbled to know that something I shared might be used during her service.

May the Lord continue to bless you in all you do and may we never forget that He is our strength. God Bless!!!

Hi GiGi I was thinking about you recently that I haven't noticed posts from you lately, but then just saw some. Maybe it was because I just didn't notice, but glad to see you back and hope you are doing well. God bless.

Donna, I pray, Heavenly Father, You know all and everything about each of us, so You know how Donna needs healing in her body. We ask that You will restore this part of her body to normal functioning and complete healing from what is causing it to function abnormally. Father, we believe that You hear our prayers and will always give the best answer to our requests. We trust You in caring for Donna and her need tonight. We ask this of You, Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen.

Hi Jerry. The Apostle Jude is speaking of the Enoch that is referred to in Genesis 5:18-24 and not the Enoch of Genesis 4:17, who was the grandson of Adam. So the Enoch of Genesis chapter 5 was the seventh in line from Adam, viz. Adam, Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch ( Genesis 5:3-24). However, Jude's quotation of Enoch's prophecy is not found anywhere else in the Bible; he may have learned about it from other manuscripts not available to us & this was then later incorporated into the non-canonical Book of Enoch (as the prophecy shown in Jude & the Book of Enoch are not entirely the same).

Yes, the Lord works so amazingly! I was considering using this bio information and the Scripture of Timothy being taught Scripture from his early years on for my contribution at my Mom's memorial service next week. I did not know all of the bio info and your post provided what I needed.

    Hi Deborah,

I, too, looked this up and read some on it. I agree with Chris, that it is not Noah's altar. God usually insisted on an altar being of natural unhewn materials. Gobekli Tepe ruins show that they are sculpted and hewn with ornate images carved on some stones.

The information I read think that the structures of Gobekli Tepe are perhaps the oldest man designed to date (estimated 9000-8000 or so B.C.). This may be pre-flood architecture, most likely a pagan temple of some kind, whether it is pre or post flood. It was first discovered over 100 years ago. It has taken a long time to excavate each level, and there are most likely more levels beneath what is now excavated.

Our pastor taught about being Spiritual. I studied this in the bible and found that the your soul and spirit are two very different things. 1 Thessalonians 5:32 is a starting point. 1 Corinthians chapter 2 explains how we operate in the spirit. Our soul is carnal, and eternal. The soul is us, who we are, while the spirit is given us to God to communicate with Him.

  • Texsis - In Reply - 3 years ago
Not sure were your getting this information yet..we are new creatures in Christ once we except Him in our heart as Lord and believing in the BDR like I mentioned before. That is all needed to inter heaven . No works will get us there or being a "good person" or anything else ppl tell you we must do to get there. The bible says what it means and means what it says. Yes, man wrote it yet through inspiration of God.! There is only one G.H and nobody else can become a god. nothing is needed to be added to make God's word better or get us to heaven on a higher level. Tis what it tis. no need to change anything, God made it perfect, study it, learn it and stop changing it.

The lack of Baptism submersion, doesn't appear to be an unpardonable sin.

Let's address why wouldn't someone want to be Baptized? Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:2-7, Romans 6:3-13,

Is it fear that keeps one from baptism? 1John 4:18, trust? Psalms 56:11, that person may possibly be about to ask another gentle close friend in the Body of Christ to be the person submersing with people of close relation in there nearby or helping, while the Church leader prays or recites scripture. I've seen many believers like youth outreach baptize with Pastor helping. Depending on the fellowship. Matthew 28:18-20,

If the reason is medical, or because of very difficult situation. Luke 23:38-46,

    Matthew 10:33, 2Timothy 2:12, Matthew 16:24, Matthew 3:13-17,

    Hopefully these are all helpful
