    Hi Linda,

I noticed your comment about someone and maybe you believing God made mad on the 8th day. Do you believe that man or do you believe God? God already told us He created man on the 6th day in His Word in Genesis 1:24-31. Anyone who says something contradictory to God's Word is not telling the truth.

    God bless.

Testimonies are such a blessing truly. We're never alone, aimless and threading our way through unknown waters. The reality of His omnipresent and omniscience truly comforts me.

I fail, I blunder through things and problems; until I let go of the rudder. I leave the mess I make and go sit in Isaiah 6 until I am healed from my blunders. He is high and lifted up, my Lord, my King.

I love the story of the Potter and the clay. Can the clay say, What are You doing? In my life?! As He pinches off a piece, reworks it, adds water, and reattaches it. It's painful, but it works better. It's lovelier, stronger.

We dislike the pain, but later, we have to admit that it works better.

I have to remind myself always, nothing is happening to me that He doesn't know about. I search myself__did I cause this? But when we sit at His feet in Isaiah 6, and consider His Holiness, our problems just fall away. He forgives us when we confess. He shows us a better way.

I quit running after human love and relationships, and learned how to be a better friend to all my friends. It changed my goals. The friendships fulfilled my need to understand as well as be understood. I'm at peace with aloneness. Not everyone can handle it. I see that now.

We seek the perfect will of God, but in this flesh, it's hard to attain. We do the best we can. Follow Jesus; not our own wills. He desires us to experience life fully. Love also.

We give glory to God for the gifts He bestows upon us.

And in the cool of the evening, He will come and walk with us (as He did with Adam and Enoch). We can be silent and enjoy, or we can discuss the day. He knows what's in our hearts. He's not offended. Enjoy those times.

I'm guess I'm saying, don't get bogged down in personal failures and despair. He is genuinely interested in what we are doing. He comforts us. Puts an arm around us to calm our fears of "missing it." Don't struggle with failures. Confess and be healed. You're His beloved child.

Hi,my sweet and precious sister in JESUS,Romnette.Your comment on Ephesians 1,has brought me so much joy, peace and hope. And confirmation of the great love and wisdom that our LORD GOD and our LORDJESUS has for us that believe in Him and follow His HOLY WORD according to the kjv of the Bible. For you my precious sister in JESUS,are the KEY and most Important part and confirmation of the enlightened Wisdom that JESUS shared with me some months ago.At that time I didn't understand why our most HOLY AND PRECIOUS LORD GOD and JESUS was enlightening me with such Wisdom. But Glory be to GOD for this Blessed website! For you see presently, I personally do not know anyone that is being mislead by the False Doctrines of the catholics. But unfortunately I did know someone being mislead by the False Doctrines of the mormans and I am currently having to deal with a landlord who's mother is Big time into the False Doctrines of the jehovas witnesses. But being Blessed with the True and HOLY WORD of GOD thru this amazing website. Some times the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD encourages me to further research certain aspects of HIS HOLY WORD.Now I know and understand YOU-Romnette and Your HOLY desire to lead your catholic friends and family to the Truth of HIS HOLY WORD that comes shining thru from the kjv of the Holy Bible is the reason HE lead me to the enlightened wisdom and Holy knowledge of just how Wicked the doctrines of the catholics have been in thepast, from (the beginning) thru today. Its really very sad and I'm sure those people that practice as catholics know nothing of their true roots.Much less do they or most of us whom believe and live our lives in accordance to the kjv have NO Idea about the Evil anathema's that have been pronounced by all the popes including today's,against their own congregation of believers if they dare to believe the way that we do.These are also against us.Please Google "The Council of Trent".And know that I am praying for and praising GOD for you!!!

Many great comments from brothers but the the information you gave us dear Dav is valuable. Something similar to that happens with the greek for fear (phobos). Although it means fear and only fear, there is this feeling that in the Gospel when refering to God it means to honour, to respect God as a person superiour than everybody else who has power, and to love him as a father. Most probably Paul, a Jew himself, just translated into greek what he had in mind in Jewish.

I also liked Ronald's statement "We should have a sense of awe and respect for the majesty of God (and simultameously) the Father" Beautiful statement.

But I would also like to add:

    1 John 4:16-19

"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE, BUT PERFECT LOVE CASTETH OUT FEAR: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

We love him, because he first loved us."

We don't want yo fear God? Then increase in love (For him and everybody else)

    Brother Spencer,

Amen. Everywhere that we see the word candlesticks in the book of Revelation, it's literally the word LUCHNIA, which means lampstand. It's not a candlestick. It is a lampstand. Great analogy, and thanks for sharing those great scriptures!

JVIM has a chart on the subject and shows the Jamba (whoever they are) in part of S. Africa. Clearly; with the diaspora in the 1980s to 1990s of Ethiopean Jews there has been some last day move back to Israel. It is hard to read the chart in my room; but there are some Jews that ended up (probably more recently) in S. America; and areas in China.

Of course; there would be individuals who genetically would have scattered throughout the Gentile nations and intermarried who wouldn't know their origins; by and large. The whole concept; it seems to me is that during the Tribulation concurrent with "Jacob's Trouble" His people are delievered out of it ( Jeremiah 30:7). This would bring Israel to a Prophetic fulfillment delivering the "Message of the Kingdom" which was never even completed to all the cities of Israel but will be preached in the End. This would once again put the ethnic Jews in the forefront; the one third who go through and are proven faithful during the refining fire of that seven year trial. This would be a declaratory message of God's victory in real time being started after the Rapture once the judgments are underway. It seems to start sometime before anything in the earth is harmed with the two prophets so there could be a delay from the beginning of the Tribulation for the ministry to begin. These would involve the signs and wonders sort of miracles by Elijah and the second Prophet; and of course is followed by the false miracles of similar appearance by the False Prophet. Final repentance according to Zechariah isn't until they see Christ coming; and all tribes of the earth mourn; Jerusalem is saved before total annihilation and it can be fulfilled that the Temple will be a "house of prayer for all nations" ( Isaiah 56:7). They will once again be a "Theocracy"; regain all their original territory in the Covenant promises and be a blessing for all nations that stream in to worship the true God.

it should be noted; and I have mentioned this before to others in my fellowship that there ARE no verses where a SPECIFIC lost person is prayed for. This is a key point to strongly verify that predestination is the necessary ingredient for anyone to come to salvation. The book of John shows how the elect all come to Christ; and repentance itself as Ephesians and other scriptures mention is a gift from God. The verses in your other commentary all show how God works to generally save people collectively.

The only other option is to be a universalist; in regard to God "drawing all men unto Himself". Indeed many are called and few chosen; and God allows the wheat to grow up with the tares in the visible body of Christ for the invisible true church to eventually be made evident in time. Of course our natural inclination is to see family and friends; or "nice people" to be converted. We tend to neglect those ministries where a "Damascus road" experience occurs; but those in prison ministry certainly see it quite frequently. Whatever the response OUR message needs to demonstrate agape love for the unloveable. For us to display through a surrendered life the fear and joy of the Lord in the message our life demonstrates along with a trust in the validity of scriptures when speaking to others means that they are reading our lives along with the delivery of the gospel message. Right now; much of the Body of Christ is asleep and needs to wake up-some individuals have been out of regular fellowship a long time and are living compromised lives. Most people have some familiarity with scripture; but are blinded to the truth that Jesus is indeed God in the flesh (not some avatar or New Age like cosmic force); that what they consider humanitarian and loving behavior is still coming from selfish motives of pride if the Spirit of God isn't at work. Our own sin needs to be exposed; and only the Lord can do that. The Spirit convicts of sin; righteousness and judgment

    Brother M, (Streetpreacher)

I do not know whose post you are referring to, and I do not need to know. I just wanted to say that the things you said have truly ministered to me this morning. You said, "No matter how hard I try to achieve perfection, I fail." I think every believer should identify with that statement. We oftentimes are busy trying to do the Lord's work when in reality we are incapable of doing His work. How many times in the gospels do we read of situations and circumstances that Jesus put His disciples through, situations that were impossible for them to handle, and what did they do? They tried hard to do things themselves and failed almost every time. I think that was Jesus' whole point. He was teaching them that they could not do it. They thought they could and they tried very hard but came up short.

I used to be that person. I took many years of failing before I learned to give it all to the Lord and let Him work out every tough circumstance that would come up in my life. I was always trying to fix things and solve those tough situations myself. It took a long time to realize that I could not do it. John Chapter 15 (The Vine and the Branches) is probably my favorite chapter in the whole bible. It teaches us what it means to abide in Christ and Christ in us. It teaches us that apart from Him, we can do nothing. We will fail.

Every time I see a picture of a sailboat, it reminds me of being out on the water with my motor running full throttle and I am getting nowhere. It reminds me that I need to turn the motor off, hoist up the sail, and let the wind take me wherever it may. That is how we should all approach the Lord. Turn the motor off, hoist up the sail, and go wherever Jesus takes us.

We have to stop trying to achieve perfection in our own human effort because we will never get there. Jesus Christ is our perfection. He dwells in us, and apart from Him, we cannot do one thing!

Understanding yourself and your weaknesses (Sin) before God, coming to know His righteousness will open heaven and the things that belong to you!

The Love of the Father toward us, is found in knowing Him.

While gazing past the sins evident in the world, you will see that His glory is not far away and can be yours!

Trusting His word , knowing He is always present, is what you will see!

This is the ultimate love for you and me!

"to know Him is to love Him"

That Jesus Christ is His Son whom He sent for the redemption of all man kind!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life".

"That God sent not His into the world to condemn the world, but the world through Him might be saved"

    Repent and be baptized

This Psalms gives glimpse into the world we live in. As David wanted to fly away, I have often times envied the fouls of the air.

Such great deception going on, even those we refer to as elect.

Oh Lord, keep my heart, mind and soul firmly planted in you. Let everything else fade away. Your yoke is easy. And even though I am not a bird of the air you love me even more and will provide and protect me. Praise God. To you be all the glory

Hi Giannis...GBU...1st of all we are not going to Heaven, ....Heaven is coming to us...Thy Kingdom come etc...Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven...The H.G. is the kingdom and he has to be born in us...Unless ya receive the Kingdom of GOD as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in....Remember Jesus said take heed that you despise not one of these lil ones.... Matthew 18 : 10...I tell you that in heaven their faces do always behold the face of my father in heaven....impling within us...via his seed....We are gona birth a lil one which is the H.G. that beholds the very face of God...All this is with in us, in our hearts and minds as Jesus said the Kingdom is gonna be with in you...As God is spirit...And that Spirit can be born in us thats y Jesus is saying that which is born of the spirit ( the Word ) is spirit but the living word is also the good seed to initiate a birth of Christ in us...our king

.....The kingdom of God is not in meat or drink but in Righteousness and Joy and Pease in the H.G.... Romans 17 : 14

When we speak of the manchild that is gonna rule all nations...we have to remember what Jesus said outta of the mouths of babes and suckling thou has PERFECTED PRAISE...The manchild which is the H.G. is that which is Perfect and is soon to come the woman giving birth to the manchild answers to that which is perfect and is to come when we birth Christ in our hearts from the contents of the book that NEW covenant....The early Church was ordained of God but it was not Perfect...Perfection does not come till the book is opened then the woman goes into birth pains and delivers the manchild the babes the H.G. ...outta of the mouths of babes and suckling thou has PERFECTED PRAISE...Thats y Elijah has to come and turn the hearts of the fathers to the Children...The babes n sucklings that are gonna result from his seed the words of the book....Paul plainly tells us when that which is PERFECT IS COME...That which is done in part will be done away with.

I'm amazed at your post. I'll read it again tomorrow.

No matter how hard i try to achieve perfection, I fail. I have to go to the Cross to get straight. I need Jesus, all the time. If I get silent, He waits. I adore John who wrote 1-2-3 John and Rev.

I will crave His voice and presence forever. Years ago, I asked Jesus if I could stand behind a drape at the marriage supper. I had led a life of aimlessness in sin, 30 years. He helped me remember my life on the farm. I was rescued from death many times, 4-5 yrs old miraculously. He taught me wisdom of nature and natures. I got a washtub and made a habitat perfect for critters I put in it: frogs, horny toads, all kinds of bugs and ants for food; water, leaves for caterpillars and the turtle. I just sat all day watching what they would all do. Somehow I knew Someone was there with me. Interested, comforting, loving. Things started eating other things and disasters ruined my project. I let all the creatures escape or I helped them run away. The day was not a loss. The Lord put something in me that helped me understand this is what the Lord does with us.

He sees everything we do. He truly loves us and is interested in what we do. He is always near to us. We're not alone. I aged and walked away from God for 20 years. He came back to me, Yom Kippur 1985. I saw the Lord. He is beautiful. My life has never been the same as before. 6 months later I was street preaching. I was doing badly. People laughed. I went home, laid my Bible on the table with my head on it, soaked in failure. Then I hear His voice. "Are you through doing it your way?"

I said YES! He anointed me. I worked with other street preachers downtown. In a year I had worn out my Bible. It was all marked up and unreadable. When we work, with the Holy Spirit, in the Harvest_it's miraculous. He gives us the right scriptures for each person. I had 36 years of mostly good memories. I still pray for all the people I led to Jesus. I want to see them in heaven.

Hebrew word for fear "yare" has 2 renderings and have to use in its context; means either to revere or fear. If you are an enemy of GOD, you best fear HIM; but those who obey and love GOD we revere HIM and HE is not angry with us so we have nothing to fear. Go in peace and love GOD.
