There are 613 laws in the old covenant and if ya break 1 you have broken all of them....If ya keep the sabbath ya gotta keep circumcision and the blood of bulls and goats and all of them....But the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death....What the LAW CD NOT DO in that it weak thru the flesh...God had to send his son in the form of sinful Flesh to condemn sin in the FLESH....All of the 613 laws cd not condemn sin in the flesh..David comes to mind..A Man after Gods own heart....Its only by the blood of the lamb that sin is condemned ...David said in sin did my mother conceive me...The curse of Adam 1... is applied to everyman at birth...And thats y we must be bornagain of an incorruptible seed....a heavenly seed.

......As we have borne the image of the earthy we must also bear ( birth ) the image of the heavenly via the seed of Christ that 2 nd Adam and his blood are his words...1 st COR. 15 :47 thats y he is saying you are made clean by the words I have spoken unto you. ( that New Covenant the book was written by his blood his words)

......MAN is not our Hy Priest,...Its only Christ that is our Hy Priest...Under this new covenant...Thats y the scripture is saying Romans 10 : 20 ....I was found of them that sought me not i was made manifest unto them that asked not after me...Its Christ our Hy Priest after the order of Melchezedec that is gonna draw ALL MEN UNTO HIM....That was the NEW covenant i will know them ALL from the least to the Greatest...Thats everybody..toda el mundo....All the world...God so loved the world thus he is gonna pour out of his spirit on all flesh....Thats y David saw ALL the world at rest and full of his GLORY...We are not our own we are all bought with a price thus its what GODS wants not our will but his will ...you have not chosen me but i have chosen you etc and he chooses everybody simply b/c he died for everybody....As God is no respector of Persons simply b/c God knows we are but FLESH.

    Dear Mary,

I welcome you to this site. I just want to assure you that You can pray to our God directly.

1 Timothy 2 :5-6 tells us that there is one Mediator between God and man, the Man Jesus Christ, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."

Jesus, at the Last Supper, instructed His disciples this way: "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."

    John 15:16

And in Hebrews 8:1 it says:

"Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of throne of the Majesty in the heavens."

And in Hebrews 7:24 it speaks of the priests of the Old Covenant compared to Jesus' priesthood:

"Also there were many priests because they were prevented by death from continuing. But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood Therefore He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them."

Mary, you do not need to pray to Mary or anyone else but God according to these Scriptures. Mary or any other saint would not receive your prayers because they know that Jesus is the only Mediator. They honor only Jesus. We can certainly ask other believers to pray for us, but this is a request we make to those who are still alive in this life. '

Do not be discouraged, trust in Jesus. Our Great God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, hears all of our prayers and we have Jesus' promise that our prayers are heard and answered by the Father according to His prefect will. Jesus is always making intercession for us to the Father. He is the best and foremost person we are to make our requests known to. The Holy Spirit even helps us in our praying ( Romans 8:26-27)

Therefore , the whole Godhead works to answer our prayers.

I encourage you to stay with us and continue learning from God's Word.

To fully understand chap 6, we must go back to chap 5. Chap 5 let's us see the situation that Israel has willingly put themselves into. The gov. was corrupt, the people decided, if the gov can do things that do not honour God, who are we to do any different?. The first mention of Isaiah in the Bible is in chap 6 v1. Isaiah does what noone else has done in a while. He went to the Temple. He knows he can find God there. He is not disappointed, but he must face the fact that he is no better than anyone else. Hee needs the cleansing power of the burnt offering which is symbolic of the( BLOOD OF CHRIST). Being overwhelmed by his sinfulness, then his cleansing, he hears the Voice of God. Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?? Isaiah says, here am I send me. Then he asks, for how long? (Paraphrasing;)God tells him, for the rest of your life. As we submit ourselves to the call of God, we must rely on the Holy Spirit of God and the constant cleansing of the shed Blood of Christ to keep and direct us as we strive to do God's will.

    Dear Mary Brennan,

If I may ask, are you Catholic? I am sorry that you are being attacked here. I am not Catholic, but I would welcome you here and I would hope that everyone on this website would welcome you instead of telling you to go somewhere else. How is that showing Godly love? Instead of attacking another person's belief (assuming we know what you believe), why do we not instead take the opportunity to witness Jesus Christ and the gospel message of salvation instead of attacking?

Please do not be offended by rude comments. I believe that there are many brothers and sisters here (possibly some ex-Catholics) that would love to dialog with you and share Jesus Christ with you.

    Smith,

There are 2 views as to who the Nicolaitans are. One is that the Nicolaitans were led by a man named Nicholas. He's mentioned in Acts 6:5. He's one of the men that were chosen to distribute bread to the Greek speaking Jewish community. Some historical documents say that Nicholas left the church and became a Gnostic and began spreading false teaching.

Another view, which appears to be the correct view since the Nicolaitans were not even that well established at this time as far as Nicholas goes. The word Nicolaitan is made up of two Greek words. One word, and I can't spell it out because this website will reject it as advertisement, but it is the same name of the athletic shoe with the swoosh mark on it. In Greek, it is pronounced nee-kay, which is the word for overcome or victory. The second word is LAOS which means the people.

It represented the democratic control of the people in the church, where the leaders ruled. They lorded it over the flock and the Lord says I hate that! Jesus Christ is still the head of the church. Leaders are put in position to be of service to Christ, but if anybody in the church should be sensitive and humbled to God speaking through the people in the church, and the congregation, it ought to be the leaders.

We're all equal. If God wanted me to be a leader, it would not be because I'm more special than anyone else or that I know the Lord better than you. Many churches have fallen because the leaders took human control over the church, and they themselves were not governed by God's Spirit. The deeds of the Nicolaitans, the lording it over the flock, the human democracy over God's people, God says He hates.

Christians today function like Jesus Christ ascended up into heaven, and left us here to do His work for Him. No, He's still here. He's still the head of the church. He's our leader. And if you're in leadership, you still look to the leader who is Jesus Christ.

    Hope this helps?

in Col 2:16 Paul was speaking as teachers we have to be careful with new converts for they might get offended, we have to lead them gently into Christianity as not to run them off. All these things in this verse were of people who practiced Pagan religions.

As Christians we should always go by the solar calendar that never changes, we are of the light not of lunar.

15th day after spring equinox is Passover, usually March 20 or 21; 1st full moon of spring is spring equinox. 14 days because Jewish day begins at sundown. After Passover-50 days later plus the 14 days before Passover 7 sets of 50 so 14 +(7 x 50)= 364 a solar year.

CHRIST had told them HE would send the HOLY SPIRIT and give them power on this day as a help meat when this happens 50 days after Passover, CHRIST who became our sacrificial Lamb. CHRIST who became our Passover: 1Cor 5:7

In Leviticus 23:2 God tells us, "These are My appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies. Sabbath means rest-CHRIST became our great Sabbath (Passover) we worship HIM everyday, not 1 day a week.

50 in Biblical numeric s is the number for Jubilee or deliverance.

    Grae:

Peace and grace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for the opportunity to have a dip at the tip of my tongue "of the cup that Jesus Christ drink of".

God forbid I would hurt the pure. I love all the saints. I pray for the fullness of the Gentiles and that ALL be saved and sanctified by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    Mark 10:39

And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:

    Matthew 20:23

And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

    Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

    Titus 1:15

Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

    Psalms 119:2

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

    Psalms 118:28

Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

God made it extremely clear, that the evening and the morning were the first day. There should be no kind of confusion except for only those who are genuinely blinded and do not believe. I state this under God's authority... 2 Corinthians 4:4 "In whom the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of them which believe not, or risk the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them." Satan does not want to chance that the light of Christ should shine on you, and lead you to ALL truth.

This written to people who are to be preachers by Jude; he was in Palestine to the Hebrew Christians both to those in Palestine and those dispersed.1 chapter but covers a whole range, goes all the way back to Enoch to end of this dispensation of time.

appr. date 41-46 AD, CHRIST crucified in 28 ad would put this writing around 15 yrs after CHRIST so he would certainly likely to have 1st hand witness of his half brother CHRIST and the authority to rebuke the evils he speak of. If Jude was of age 30 for instance he would have spent at least 15 yrs with CHRIST

Half brother of CHRIST and brother of James the lesser the author of James whom both CHRIST say are brethren(brothers) Mat 13:55; Mark 6:3, Act 15:13, Gal 2:9, Gal 1:19

Whole of Jude warns us of evil spirits and fallen Angels that Enoch spoke out against .

Jude 1:4-Fallen angels Gen 6:1,2,3 and Satan denied CHRIST and have ever sense and sentenced to judgement for denying CHRIST. .

evil spirits that possesses those who allow it; even heads of Christian churches to deceive the people. Those who deny CHRIST, the SON of GOD, Emanuel-GOD with us denying HE is of the trinity, GOD head who died and rose 3 days later for 40 days appeared to many and is historical accounts of HIS marks and resurrection. scripture lawyers and not followers of JESUS CHRIST the savoir. Gen 6:4 Jude 1:6 they left their first estate- their own principality and place of dwelling which was in darkness; are now in a bottomless pit in chains of darkness-evil spirits, where they cannot sire anymore giants are released for 5 months to pick up where they left off in days of Noe, when the 2 witnesses they kill in the arena and they rise 3 days later are instantly blotted out of existence at the sight and hand of GOD at CHRIST 2nd appearance where all knees will bow.

We must keep the Sabbath day, "Saturday". We must keep the Sabbath day Holy. The Sabbath day was sanctified and blessed by The Mighty God of ALL creation. No other day of the week was blessed. And it is for ALL humans, Jews and Gentiles alike. "It is the Sabbath of the Lord your God", said God himself at the completion of creation week; Exodus 20:10. No Jews were, until the seed of Judah. Any true follower of Christ lives as Christ lived, and taught us to as well. There are over 116 bible verses pertaining to the Sabbath day. There need be no confusion. Either believe in man-made Ideas or Believe in GOD, through HIS word. Me? I Believe God.

In Bible scriptures, whenever you see the archaic form of a word, in this case, "Saith" we should always replace the "th" with an "S". Sometimes it is also "eth". We still should replace it with an "S". When I study the bible, NOT just read it, I make it a habit to

Here are some examples... "Speaketh" = Speaks, "Hath" = Has, "Maketh" = Makes, "Taketh" = Takes, "Goeth" = Goes, "Knoweth" = Knows, "Delivereth" = Deliver, and so on. Go ahead, give it a try. This method will help you get more understanding of Bible scriptures. Or just type "Decoding Archaic Bible words" and it will lead you to my channel which teaches more than 300 Archaic words translated to English. I 1,000% guarantee that you will be happy you did. I truly hope that this comment has helped many.

Looking at the Greek word for 'says' ('legei'), it appears that the word used in this verse is in the 'present' tense. Some other versions use the past tense according to the manuscript used & the translators' understanding of it. Though, in this account in Mark, I don't feel that it would alter the meaning or substance of the verse dramatically.

The Bible speaks to to salvation from sins and atonement for sins which is of grace for we had a debt we could not pay. When the Bible talks of eternal salvation it speaks of works. Some of the verses...... Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Luke 10:28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. (if he was alive was he saved?) John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. (if we don't abide in his love are we saved?) Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 19:16,17 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (if we haven't enter into life, are we saved?) James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? (Read this chapter carefully. We want it to say that works are a result of salvation. I understand it to say that faith without works is dead for salvation). Rahab did nothing to have the opportunity to be saved (of grace), but she had to respond properly (stay in the house) to be saved. It might be beneficial to differentiate between the works of the law (which no flesh shall be justified) and the works and teachings of Jesus. The lawgiver proceeded out of Juda, not Levi. Genesis 49:10

I am a bit confused because Jude (Paul to Jude) begins with addressing the saints but reverts in the middle to recognizing the fallen angels and the comparison to Caine. Is this for saints to question their attachment to the flesh and question the percentage of their belief? For I know we are all filthy rags striving for holiness and greater use of our spiritual language. Are we then judged by others besides Christ (10,000); is this the cloud of witnesses? The new testement is more difficult than the old, I believe to interpret.

Dear Earl, I disagree with your interpretation of this verse as we becoming divine (gods).

Rather, this verse is speaking of our great privilege of having communion with the Godhead in Jesus, in which partake of the divine nature in relationship, not because we acquire the divine nature. It is a partaking by association only. God is not made of parts where aspects of Himself can be divided up and given to a being He has created. Nor can He replicate or multiply His essential nature for us to receive. He said He will not share His glory with any other being, since all other beings are created by Him. To do any of what I mentioned would mean that God changes in His essential nature and Being, which contradicts what the Word says that He never changes who He is in any way.

We have had conversations on this matter before, so I do not wish to converse any longer with you on this matter. You will never convince me that we become gods or take from God some of His divine nature. God bless you today, Earl.
