    Part 2

Remember when Peter asked Jesus how many times does he have to forgive a brother who sins to him? Jesus told him 70X7 times a day. If God demands this from us, then Him Himself how many times does He forgives us? The answer is infinite times.

Finally, complaints to God are NOT blasphemy against the Holly Spirit. It is good to understand that we must avoid complaining and questioning God's decisions about us, but still He is willing to forgive us. All of us do complain sometime. My friend do not see God as a procecutor all the time, He is not, He is a helprer. If God put us under a microscope and see all our least faults then who could be saved? Nobody. Thanks God He is not like this. He is there to get us to the end. GOD IS LOVE.

Blasphemy against the HS is when one attributes works done by the Spirit to satan like Pharisees did, intentionally. Please read carefully Matthew 12:25-36. Nothing else. One that does that never repends. When one repends and worries so much it is a clear sign that he never did that.

In our lives we all do many mistakes like you did. But God is there to raise us up and start a new begining. So get up.

    God Bless You.

They found my Mother after literally 18 years of battling throat cancer. And not having ate solid food in almost ten years. The nurse said she had her Bible across her chest and both hands on the side. And she thought that's the most Peaceful I've seen her in such a long time. But Mama wasn't there, She was with Jesus.

At the Family Visitation, I asked everyone if I could have a few minutes by myself. And I stood there and said Mama " it ain't over, by The Grace of God, I'll see you again" As a Minister, I have felt The Annointing from the top of my head on down. I have shouted, ran, praised God and seen him move in so many powerful services. But to this Day, I've never felt God like I did standing there by my Mama's casket. During the Funeral, I thought, it would be so easy for me to Preach this Funeral. My Father in law often Preached" If you could get your Family in the Church, then the whole World would be saved" So I will fight through rejection, mockery, sometimes even pure spite and malice and so will every Christian. Because The Burden is that of Christ.

Malachi 3:8-12 - Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Malachi 3:10 - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Matthew 6:1-4 - Take heed that ye do not your giving before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 23:23 - Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Luke 6:38 - Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye give withal it shall be measured to you again.

1 Corinthians 16:2 - Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. 2 Corinthians 8:1-24

"For those who are born-again, and are the blood-bought, redeemed children of God, this earth is the closest thing to hell that they will ever see. For unbelievers who reject the gospel of Jesus Christ, this earth is the closest thing to heaven that they will ever see."

This earth is neither heaven nor hell. Heaven is the throne of the Great God we serve, and the home of the saints; hell is the habitation of devils and the lost.

    Blessings!

    Part 1

OK dear Dgjot, lets take it from the beggining.

Who is chosen? The answer is the one that believes in Jesus and accepts that His sacrifice has deleted/ing his sins when repenting. You have done that, haven't you back in 1974, and keep repending for the sins you commit? So you are chosen. You must understand that God doesn't choose us for some reason and then saves us. But He chooses us because He knows, even before He created the world, that sometime we are going to believe in Jesus' Word.

Secondly, all christians must understand that we are sand/dust, we have a vulnerable nature to sin That is why we are given the Blood of Jesus for. All people, not only you, make the same faults. You are not, and I am not, any different from other people. God knows that and does not expect more than we can do. If He did this it wouldn't be fair for us. We have a fight in this life. We have a way to walk. We have a faith to maintain. We will eventually sin sometime, bad or less bad. This doesn't mean that God rejects us. On the contrary He is there to help us to get up and keep going. This goes on for all our lives. God will not take in Heaven perfect people, almost nodody would have been saved in such a case. He will take people that repent and fight. You do that, don't you? Your fear in your post makes this obvious.

Now about your dreams. If someone feels guilt for what he does BUT can not accept/believe that God forgives him and still carries that guilt all the time, eventually this is what he is going to feel all the time, he even sees dreams about that. Please DO understand that when you repend God FORGIVES you. Period. Don't question it in your mind. You may say that you have done the same fault many times. So what? Does that change the power of the Christ's Bloob. No it doesn't.

Walk in peace with God, and do not engage the temptation. Say a quiet, Jesus protect me.

You're not too young to learn what Ephesians 6 means. Our "enemies are invisible".

A very quiet prayer under your breath, say this: I rebuke you evil spirits in the name of Jesus. I bind your works in Jesus Name. Amen.

Your prayer has as much power with God, as mine do.

Fight the invisible, and they will not bother you as much.

Read the Book of Joshua. He was a might warrior and leader.

I think that's it's a normal human thing to some times question God , I think most of us have at some time thought to ourselves "why ? " . Maybe you haven't been feeding your relationship with Him as much as you should have been ? Maybe you have forgotten that all the good things in your life have come from Him , everything from your clothes , your home , food , family friends etc . All these things are blessings from God to you . Maybe your eyes haven't been noticing all the beauty of His creation of late ? Maybe you have forgotten all the times in the past where you were aware of His presence in your life , how things just seemed to work out the way you hoped they would ? Spend some time contemplating all those ways in which you know He has helped you through your life , remember to thank Him every day and keep reading your Bible . I think you are just feeling insecure for some reason ? If you think hard you can probably figure out what it is that's shaking you up , He's not going to leave you , ever . He is your God , your peace , your strength , your sanity and your Heavenly Father , your sustainer . That's ever going to change .

    Barnes' Notes on the Bible

NO. The woman makes a similar confession and a similar indication of the source of her temptation. She has now found out that the serpent "beguiled her." The result has not corresponded to the benefit she was led to anticipate.

There seems not to be any disingenuousness in either case. Sin does not take full possession of the will all at once. It is a slow poison. It has a growth. It requires time and frequent repetition to sink from a state of purity into a habit of inveterate sin. While it is insensibly gathering strength and subjugating the will, the original integrity of the moral nature manifests a long but fading vitality. The same line of things does not always occupy the attention. When the chain of events linked with the act of sin does not force the attention of the mind, and constrain the will to act a selfish part, another train of things comes before the mind, finds the will unaffected by personal considerations, and therefore ready to take its direction from the reason. Hence, the consciousness of a fallen soul has its lucid intervals, in which the conscience gives a verdict and guides the will. But these intervals become less frequent and less decisive as the entanglements of ever-multiplying sinful acts wind round the soul and aggravate its bondage and its blindness.

    M. It doesn't say Gila monster. It says serpent.

Yes dear John. in 1 Corinthians 12:31 Paul says "But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way" And then in chapter 13 Paul talks about love and the characteristics of it. But does actually Paul mean that love is enough and so we don't need the spiritual gifts that God gives to His children? Is that so? No, it isn't. Read the first three verses of chapter 14. "1 - Follow after charity (love), and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 2 - For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 - But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort."

What does it says above? Follow love AND desire the spiritual gifts. What spiritual gifts is Paul talking about? All, but he specifically talks about tongues and prophesy. So should these exist in any church congregation? Paul says yes they should. Chapter 14 is an excellent example of how the early church functioned. But is this only for the early church ... ?

What a cool name you have! Jea lynn! My spell check wont go away? Well, you are correct. I sometimes become overwhelmed with the Holy Spirit that i can't pound the keys fast enough. With the preponderance of evidence that Satan and His angels are so very much alive especially these days in the media, those who are outside the body of Christ will be deceived and believe his lies! The word of God has a profound effect upon the heart and minds who follow after truth. I am reminded again of the faith of our Father Abraham, when He said "the Lord shall provide" to His Son Isaac. Isaac unaware that He would be the sacrifice! This is the same condition that our God wants us to walk in, with complete faith in His saving grace. My doc. the other day said the sacrifice was Ishmael and not Isaac, now you are correct on my spelling ,but how to convince Him that it was Isaac is a great deal more to talk about. Faith is the most important of all things, it will guide us into all truth! The Koran is evidence that there are many more differences that are ahead of us! Even so the Muslim believer thinks that Jesus was a prophet and not the Son of God. The question is ,can we work these things out? All things are possible through Christ! I thank you for reading and correcting me!

    Dear Surafiel.

This is a very important issue. Bullying is smt really horible. In your shoes I wouldn't let it go like nothing important happens.

There are many things you can do.

First don't delay acting. Inform your family. Discuss with them what is the best solution out. Second Inform the Headmaster and teachers of your school. Don't avoid doing this. It is the first thing you must do. And insist on going to your school authorities. It is their responsibility to get you out of that situation. You can claim such a responsibility, even using the Law, if they are unwilling to help. But I thing they will help since a lot of bad things happen all the time due to bullying. The least they will be, is getting scared. They will have to face the Law. Don't let it go like nothing. It may lead to to really bad trouble.

Go to God. Keep praying to God to help you, until He gets you out of that. Also fast if you can. In my opinion you must act as christian. Do not fight, but pray for them as the Lord has asked us to pray and love our enemies. Maybe they become your friends sometime. Ask other christians to pray and fast for you. But don't get it wrong. People often do not change even if we love and pray for them. If the situation gets really bad you must protect yourself in any proper way you can. Avoid them. Jesus sometimes kept going away from hostile crowds when He Knew that they were seeking to kill Him. Maybe change school? This is better sometimes than staying there and face such a thing, when things do not change. Again all these I have written to you maybe be far from the best thing you can do. You HAVE to discuss all these with your parents and teachers and decide what is best to do, and may God help you out. Talk to yor parents, your friends, your teachers, do not keep it inside you and be helpless. They can help you.

    God Bless Yoy.

Read Mark 3:29-30. If an individual does this with the knowledge than that individual is eternally damned forever. I can not see how any person would not know that blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is wrong, since Yahweh has written His law upon the heart of every man.

Romans 2:14-16, "For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel."

God has revealed Himself to every man, so that every man is without excuse at His appearing. In the Book of Romans 1:18-23, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible

God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."

God will reveal if an individual has blasphemed, a clear indication is when

God takes His Holy Spirit away from that person's heart, and that individual can no longer feel the very presence of God anymore, as a sign that individual is no longer walking with Him. God will never fill a human temple with His Holy Spirit ever again once the unpardonable sin happens.

Hello, that is great you are seeking council of other believers. I would also pray about it- just put forth your requests to God and await any kind of confirmation or answer. I would also examine your heart and motives. Is it for comfort? For attraction? It's not wrong to look nice, but people can look nice without showing flesh. Lust is a sin and is not something we should encourage and there must be a boundary- even our evil world has legal boundaries for public decency so how much modesty should Jesus-followers have. Jessie listed a verse on modesty. I think muslims can take this way too far where you only see a woman's eyes and can't even recognize anyone, whereas some indigenous cultures people are partially or entirely naked. Culture plays a role, but I would not let culture dictate your actions, but instead scripture, prayer, and examining your heart. God bless.

As someone stated already Jesus fulfilled all law on the Cross including the 10%. Malachi is quote is still under the Old Covenant of law not Grace (of which we are).

The verses in Luke never show Christ commanding tithe , neither is that what the Scripture contextualized. Luke 21 the woman had little and gave everything , This is in part regarding Salvation, it tithe. If we cast our money to God in a treasury, the works will never save us. We can have abundant income but man isn't saved by wealth or what he can give. We're save by giving all. Yes, they were rich but they didn't give all...

The poor widow gave everything as do we when we surrender to Christ and receive his Free gift of Grace by Faith.
  • Giannis - In Reply - 3 years ago
Yes, Dear Junnybug, your pastor is right about that "where we still give as we feel led to and where we feel led to", although in my opinion this has nothing to do with the Law that was fulfilled by Jesus, simply such a thing is not mentioned in the NT.

On the contary, Paul in his epistle to 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 is very clear about it. "Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come".

See also 2 Corinthians 9:7 "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver" If there would still be tenths he wouldn't ask this but he would demand that corinthians kept the commadement.

No one can demand such thing.

Paul in his last meeting with the elders of Ephesus Acts 20:17-36 (see v 33-35) asks them to serve the members of the church there free, like he was always doing. Why? Because he didn't want them to put such a heavy weight on christians there. So how about asking now for 10%? No, certainly not. GBU

Yes, it is wrong for women and young women to wear clothing that reveals too much skin. Woman are to honor God by their actions and dress.

Genesis 3:21, "Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them."

The word, "coats," as mentioned in Genesis 3:21 comes from the Hebrew word from the Bible Concordance:

kthneth, keth-o'-neth; or kuttneth; from an unused root meaning to cover (compare H3802); a shirt:-coat, garment, robe.

H3802 comes from the Hebrew word kthph, kaw-thafe'; from an unused root meaning to clothe; the shoulder (proper, i.e. upper end of the arm; as being the spot where the garments hang); figuratively, side-piece or lateral projection of anything:-arm, corner, shoulder(-piece), side, undersetter.

Outline of Biblical Usage per Blue letter Bible:

    tunic, under-garment,

a long shirt-like garment usually of linen

Again, the reason certain epistles are considered to be questionable is because they do not agree with the teaching of Jesus, the Holy Ghost, and the Apostles.

Here is another glaring example from the 1st epistle to the Corinthians:

"...take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak." 1st Corinthians 8:9

The author(s) of 1st Corinthians claim Christians enjoy the liberty to eat meats that have been offered to an idol in the temple of an idol.

Christians are NOT at liberty to eat meats that have been offered to idols. In Acts 16:4-5, we're told Paul preached the exact opposite. "...abstain from meats offered to idols [...] from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well." Acts 15:29

I do not know if you made this typo by mistake, but Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, Jesus Christ should always have an uppercase G, not a lowercase g. Lower case g in the Bible refers to false god's, and a capitalized G refers to the One True God. Jesus Christ loves you very much!

    Alice,

1 Timothy 2:9-10 gives instruction on this. Women are to adorn (Dress) in moderate apparel, something that is orderly and acceptably decent. That word shamefacedness is an old English word representing the Greek word that has to do with orderly or Godly fear.

Something we don't have in our culture today is shamefacedness, people who are ashamed of the clothes that they wear out in public. It's the old "Everybody does it, who cares?" And you would think that they would be self-conscious, but they're not.

It goes on and talks about broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array. I think the whole point here is that women should not present themselves in church in a way that would cause distraction.

In 1 Timothy 2:10, Paul says that the conduct of the women are to be such as women who profess godliness that they belong to Christ. And the general teaching of scripture is, especially for a woman, is that Paul's very sensitive to the fact that women are more noticeable physically, and that Christ is seen in them, and there's nothing about them, the way they dress, or the way they act, that distracts from people seeing Christ instead of something else.

That's basically what it's all about. But some people have taken it to extremes in both ways. And you will see groups today that will draw attention to themselves because they try to legalistically follow this outline, rather than understanding the spiritual message behind it. What Paul is saying is let these people see Christ in you. Don't distract from that. This is not a fashion show when you go to church.

Death comes. I don't think anyone is ready for what The Lord chooses to reveal. My sister said my mother smiled and was looking high up a wall. I wasn't there.

When my Dad died I was with him all evening. He had Alzheimer's and aspirated food. He was drowning. I did not want him to go! I continued to pray. Then something said. LEAVE. I'm taking him now. I left 5 mins. My Dad was gone, but all the pain and agony was gone from his face. He looked happy. Not the terror from drowning on food. Death is swallowed up in victory. Christians have nothing to fear.

A few months before my mother died, I felt I should witness to her. All her life she did the work of 5 men. I asked her, aren't you even curious about WHO you are spending eternity with? You'll be with Him forever. Don't you want to know what He's like?

Next morning I see her eating her oatmeal, with the Bible reading it intently. It was my Bible which is all marked up, falling apart. Every morning several days. I asked if she wanted to pray. She said "I always just thought it would be me and your Dad together." I never considered Jesus would be there too. She had prayed the prayer taped on the inside cover.

I'm wondering, have we thought about our Savior, living with Him, day to day, in heaven? What is he like? What does he like? Jesus knows what we need, and has prepared for wonders we never thought of.

A few months after my Dads passing, I was still missing him terribly. We were close. I had a dream: he was walking towards me, weaving in and out of our driveway that was like a parking lot. His face was young again, and he had a great big smile. I woke and I knew he was with Jesus! The mourning ended that day.

Witness to your family members. Let them have those old ragged Bibles. Tape the sinners prayer inside the cover. Believe in miracles.

    Michelle,

This is what I learned about 1 Corinthians 16:13. It says, "quit you like men." "And like a man, I've quit several times!" Just kidding, that is not what it means. It's literally one Greek word that means be a man. Moreover, it is associated with courage! Remember what God told Joshua in Joshua 1:8-11? Be of courage Joshua for I am with you wherever you go. So it's not a human courage. It's a spiritual trust that no matter what, we can face anything in life because Christ is there.
