People in that day lived to close to one thousand years old. So when God put he mark in Cain's forehead for killing his brother Abel, they could have been 130, 210, 300 years old or more. By that time their lineage & the lineage from the subsequent siblings had become fruitful & multiplied & spread throughout that region. That's why God put the "mark" on Cain's forehead so that the other populous from Adam & Eve's lineage wouldn't kill Cain or they would suffer a curse as well. There is a place in the New Testament that has all the names of the lineage of Jesus all the way back to Adam. It would be an interesting research endeavor for you.

Pray what is referred to as "The Lord's Prayer", only interject specific & personal situations current in your life in each point of the prayer.

Well dear Spencer although I have objections about those covenants made by God to Jewish people if they are still valid or not, I must say that you are right when you point out that there is an anti-Semitism silently creeping in the whole world and in some/many churches as well. There is also racism in some/many churches too.

Now as far as God's promises to the nation of Israel are concerned apart from the promise that He will gather them in their own land that was fulfilled in 1949, no other promise has been left apart from the one described by Paul in Romans 11:25-27 that is about the salvation of Israel as a whole nation at the very end. I can not see any other promise/covenant left for them to be fulfilled.

Now if we want to talk on a history basis there was also an anti-Semitism in the early church which was initiated by the fact that the persecutions that took place in those early times were often initiated by Jews in high political places. We see it in aThessalonika, Berea, Corinth and if you look it up in history books most of the persecutions that took place in the first 3 centuaries AD in Rome, the lions and the crosses and the fireworks and all those horrible things our early brothers suffered, were most often caused by Jewish people who hated Christianity. Christians suffered a lot during those times and their dislike for Jews is often clear in their writings. I don't try to justify anything but this is how things are ...

    God Bless You

I will always remember Jesus 1 st message to the Jews..Saying there were many lepers in Israel at the time of Elisha the prophet but unto none of them was Elisha sent but unto Naaman a Syrian a leper ..Which shows us that God is no respector of Persons...As God so loved the world that he gave us his only beloveth son...That whosoever believeth in him will have Eternal life...Always remember that Abraham was a Syrian...Duet 26 : 5... But not only was he the Father of the uncircumcision he was the Father of the circumcision also...Jew and Gentile alike...Remember the woman at the well said our father Issac gave us the well and she was a Samaritian a Gentile but Jesus preached salvation the Gift of God to this Woman..A Samaritian...On that great day of the feast Jesus stood up and cried if any man thirst let him come unto ME and drink..And John said this speak he of the Spirit for the H.G was yet given b/c that Christ was not yet GLORIFIED..So God is no respector of persons...But under the new covenant its the H.G. that is the super star...The apply of his eye...The Israel of God...Which are the Children of PROMISE...That God Promised was gonna be as the stars of heaven in multitude...The Israel of GOD...And they are gona be born in us via the good seed of Christ...Its only them that are the Children of Promise..That are contents of the book the LIVING WORDS The Children of Promise..His name sakes...The Gransons...simply b/c Jesus is their father...When Isaiah saw the kingdom coming in Isaiah 9 : 6 kjv..Isaiah refers to Jesus as everlasting FATHER..Simply b/c his Children are everlasting spirits. Thus Christ is truly the Father of the H.G...Simply b/c Isaiah said he wd see his seed which are the babes and suckling Jesus mentions..The bridegroom's children..That good seed..Whosoever receiveth one such child in my name...In MY NAME implied he is the Father of the Child..the H.G..That Child of promise the Israel of God...Jesus is not impotent he has a seed to SOW IN US.

GOD our FATHER does not want you to quote scripture when you pray; HE wants you to pray from your heart, not something man has said over and over. Even when you know not what to pray for your spirit does. Even if you sit their in silence HE hears what is in your heart for HE is a heart knower. Be at ease and in peace and always from the heart.

Spencer you do greatly err all the lords disciples were Jews but they had to be bornagain of an incorruptible seed ...Even by the words of God...And this is replacement theology...Jesus was preaching replacement theology when he said you must be bornagain.

.....We all need a new heart and a new spirit which is replacement theology...GOD himself was preaching replacement theology when he said he was gonna give us a New Covenant and a new Heaven and a New earth ...Not according to the old covenant...From Gen. to Rev. its all replacement theology...And we are not the Children of God, Its only the H.G. that is the real Child of God the Children of Promise...We are just a joint heir with the H.G...As romans 9 : 8 tells us its only the Children of Promise that is counted for the GOOD SEED which is the H.G...We are just a joint heir...Its only the H.G that is born by Promise...our new innerman...Jesus was preaching replacement theology when he told Nic a Jew he wd have to be bornagain...

.... Romans 9 : 8 ...The Children of the flesh ( Natural Israel ) ..These are not the Children of God but the Children of PROMISE ARE COUNTED FOR THE GOOD SEED....Who are the Children of PROMISE ? ...The H.G....Spirits...As Jesus said that which is born of the spirt is spirit...Thats the H.G. the Israel of God...And this is replacement theology...The H.G. is our new heart and new spirit...Which is Christ in us the hope of Glory....I know that Paul said we as ISSAC are Children of Promise..But he was impling that b/c he had the H.G he was a Child of Promise...

....We were all born by the will of some man...Its only the H.G that Child of PROMISE that is born by the will of God in us...When Jesus said behold i send the Promise OF MY FATHER upon you that was baptism of the H.G. a heavenly birth of Christ in them the H.G. that Child of Promise...Whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receiveth me ...Which is replacement theology...As the H.G. is our Replacement our new Innerman...GBU

Dear Wilhelmina , you don't need to quote scriptures when you pray . I wish I could remember the entire Bible but I know i never will be able to . Prayers should come from your heart , talk honestly and openly to your God , through the High Priest that we have in Heaven , Jesus Christ the Righteous . Much love in Christ .

The Gospel is the Good News. It spread house to house in those early days. We have to read human history accounts too.

I listen to a new Church plant in my town, for about a year. It's a tent outside in a park on a walking trail. I love that!

They are preaching experiences. How their jobs are going, traffic challenges, interspersed with bits of testimony.

I pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to fall on them, almost every day. If the Holy Spirit is not there__theyll be "childless".

Now I get excited listening to Pastors Tony Evans and Paul Shepherd on the fm radio every day. I dare anyone to see Dwight Thompson (on YouTube) preaching, "What to do if you miss the Rapture". Look at the people in the room_NOT Dwight. People (no matter what sex) are going to reproduce Christ like those that were in the Upper Room on Pentecost.

We just have to agree that Jesus is the Head of the Church and we go to church to meet Him there.

I always have liked this chapter. To me, it shows the mercy's of God. God's definition of life and death, is not ours. He knows, who will repent or not. So when he told them to even kill, little children, I believe that's because of his mercy. Some of us Christians believe in a age of accountability. These children, may have been slain before their knowledge of sin., and are alive evermore in Heaven.I take this, as I think of David, saying, 'I will go to him, after the death of his son. And I also see in this chapter, his righteousness.

Hi all siblings. Today I came across some words that Jesus says in Mark 13. See in the passage The Son of Man comes verses Mark 13:24-27

We must all understand now i think, we are in this time. But there is no consolation: for it is getting worse.

Here I ask you all to be careful. Ever since my 1st day as an adult Jesus saved. Have i thought that this promotion has rubbed something terrible in my heart and ears. Something that is clear and should be for everyone is the following:

When Jesus comes, He will not kill us first. He wants to take us home to Him, right? Then those who live will be promoted! When Jesus tells as Matthew 24:12 writes, it becomes an explanation of what will happen when He returns. If we read this in its entirety, we will see the passage of the Son of Man Matthew 24:29-31

Then Jesus tells afterwards that one is taken away and one is let back. See this dear friends. Do not be fooled by anyone who has received great revelations about this. Someone has changed these sections. We chosen righteous will be with the end. But in the end, He comes as we wait. Then someone joins up to heaven. Only those who have Oil on their lamps.

We live in that time for the mark of the beast and have done so for a long time see Revelation 13:15 to give breath to the mark of the beast.

When we talk about TV and internet pc also further. I just have to say from my place: Have we not become quite strangely addicted to this vivid picture? I know of fine Christian Believers who sit in front of the TV screen every hour of the day! It's a shame, but they calm it down it's innocent. That's it not! They sit at home in their own living rooms and get scared, fearing all sorts of strange things. Agree with this: Does not such a thing take us away from the Lord?

Another key thing: Why did Jesus say it was accomplished when He had to give up His Spirit on the cross? Stay blessed in Jesus Name.

The Day of Pentecost AFTER Jesus ascended to heaven, visually.

About one hundred and twenty followers of Christ ( Acts 1:15) were present, including the Twelve Apostles (Matthias was Judas' replacement) ( Acts 1:13, 26), Jesus' mother Mary, other female disciples and his brothers ( Acts 1:14). JESUS had sisters. All filled with the Holy Spirit.

Women were also identified to be among the 120. Mary the mother of Jesus is mentioned by name. The wives of the apostles were there ( 1 Cor. 9:5 "Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?"). Each of the wives was a devout believer in Christ. Part of the number of women would be those mentioned in Luke 8:1-3. "And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him, And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, And Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance." See also Matt. 27:55-56; Luke 23:49,55. We would expect that the sisters of Jesus were also believers by this time, as His brothers had become. Jesus was much more inclusive of the women than were the scribes and PHARISEES. The women had accompanied Him as He went through every city and village. The very first person to announce the Risen Christ was Mary Magdalene ( John 20:11-18).

Mishael: taken from history recorded in Book of Acts; by the Disciples (Luke), and Jewish people. Paul had not been born again yet. After he was, he went to the wilderness to be taught by the Lord for 3 YEARS. Corinthians was not written down yet.

Women spread the Gospel too; house to house. Outside of the synagogues in their courtyards. That's what disciples do_spread the Good News. WORD of mouth, house to house.

Before I found this site , two or three years ago , I found quite a few other so called Christian sites . The Bible was never discussed on any of them , they were basically people bitching about and judging others on the site . I made a Bible reference about not judging one another on one of those sites and was shot down in flames by everyone on there for using the Bible against them . Oh the irony ! There's definately a difference between Christian sites and Bible sites , give me a Bible site any day , there are far too many people who call themselves Christians who make no effort at all to understand any of the Word of God and they actually resent others who do make the effort and who know something about the Bible . They complain that people who know the Bible are just trying to make them ( the ones who don't even want to know ) feel bad or guilty for not wanting to read it . I'm not kidding ,I wish I was . Stick with us , we are all imperfect on here but the vast majority on here are willing to learn from each other and help each other and are genuinely interested and want to know what God says .

Jesus waste's no time! His sole purpose is to do His Father's will.

Anyone who takes up this cross shall find a place in His "lineup".

You see this "lineup" is according to His will, and not your or mine!

From the start of the day .to the end He is in control!

You shall see many things, and wonder how can these things be?

One must measure the cost, so He might understand the price.

This cannot be done without answering the call.

This requires faith, a faithfulness that when He calls you will be ready! When the trumpet sounds , the table will be ready, ready for you to sit and reap the gifts that come from Him! Only Him!

If you are well, and in the lineup, then you are blessed!

Salt shall be required, there must be salt. Without it , we are good for nothing!

    Repent and be Baptized

    Dear Spencer

Anybody whether he is an Arab, a Greek, a Jew, an American, a German, a Chinese, a Nigerian ...that believes in Jesus is a spiritual/ of promise/ of faith child of Abraham, that is the universal all time Church. The epistle to Galatians deals with that extensively.

Now about Israel in the final days apostole Paul deals with that in Romans 11:25-27. What he says there is that God will save Israel as a whole nation After, he says, all the nations complete their time. ( this also shows that the church will depart when that time is completed and then the time of Jews will start) When is that? During the week (7 years of the antichrist's rule on earth). (See also Daniel's prophesy about the weeks). There will be no time for a restoration of a somehow Israelitic empire. On the contrary the antichrist will be after them during the tribulation which they themselves wiil suffer big at that time and the whole thing will end up with the fight of Armageddon. Then comes the very end of this world as we know it. So what happened to that promise? My opinion ...(and i may be wrong) To understand that: Remember that Jesus said to all 12 apostoles, including Judas, that they will sit on thrones to judge the 12 tribes of Israel. Did that come true for Judas? No, because Judas at the end walked another way. What is then happened to that promise given to Israel? It was gone as soon as they crucified Jesus and took some other way. God's promises are never unconditional, that is true for us christians as well. One has to stay in faith and obedience to get them. Other christians say those things were not literal but symbolic for the church. Either way there will be no another israelitic empire. God has prepared something a lot more important fot that nation. Eternal life.

    Simplebeliever,

I'm sorry if I am misunderstanding your post, but it seems a little contradicting to me, mainly your opening remark that true believers will go through the Tribulation, and your closing remark that there will be a taking away or Rapture for all believers but it will be that they may not "endure the Wrath of God before the final destruction of the Enemy.

    Can you please explain?

If it helps, Revelation 20:4 is not referring to the church, but unbelievers who were left behind. They rejected the mark of the beast after being persuaded by the angelic preaching of the gospel, and the gospel of the 144,000. They will be beheaded, but they'll be with Christ.

    Amen Brother Ronald.

    Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.

    Jeremiah 16:14.

Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.

For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

    Amos 9:7-11.

The tabernacle of David didn't exist during Jesus ministry, It doesn't exist now but it will exist during the Millennium.

    God bless.

Hello Wilhelmina. Whether we're praying in private or within a prayer group, it is the Holy Spirit Who should be leading us in our prayer. We might plan beforehand who or what we should be praying for, but Christ's Spirit will lead us in what should be said. You might, in the Spirit, be praying concerning matters you're not fully aware of, or offering up prayer for someone you know little about yet praying for them using specifics.

Just as the Holy Spirit leads us to pray, He might bring to mind Scriptures that will glorify the Father or even be the "Amen" that others in the group yearn to hear & respond to. And yet, sometimes, no specific Scripture comes to mind. And that's okay if you remain earnest & sincere in prayer. Keep storing God's Word in your heart: it may just come up at prayer-time, but certainly can be used when the evil one comes to lead you away from your love & devotion to the Lord.

Personally speaking, Scriptures flow more easily in my heart when I first come with praise & adoration to the Lord, spending some time at the first part of my devotions - enjoying His Presence (Glory), His Mercy, His Wisdom, His Majesty, His Power. Remember, "Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me", says the Lord through the Psalmist. May God's Spirit lead you sister, as you devote this special time wholly to Him, declaring His Glory, expressing your love, interceding for others.

    Hi Giannis.

Are we heirs of the promise? Yes.

Are we as Issac children of promise? yes. These particular promises you are referring to in " Galatians 3:17." has nothing at all to do with " Replacement theology "

Here we are talking about promises to the NATION OF ISRAEL

All through the scripture God promised to restore "THE NATION OF ISRAEL." and set up a literal kingdom here on earth.

    Concerning Romans 9:6-8.

vs 6, Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For "THEY are not all Israel, WHICH ARE "OF" ISRAEL:

This verse doesn't include us Gentiles at all. At this particular junction. Paul is making a distinction between the natural seed and the spiritual seed of the natural / Kinsman offspring.

There has always been an remnant. The distinction is to show the seed is not recond on birthright alone, if so the Ishmaelites would be included.

    Key verse: Romans 9:3.

    Are we Paul's

    kinsman in the flesh? No.

John 10:16. says there is 2 sheep folds that will come together and become one.

Israel is one of these sheep folds.

These verses doesn't apply to us.

    Romans 11:1-5.

    Romans 11:25-26.

    Romans 11:27.

Here in Romans 11:28-30. notice the distinction in the words like "they" and "their" that shows there's 2 distinctive groups.

"As concerning the gospel, "THEY" are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, "THEY" are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through "THEIR" unbelief:"

God will turn again to the NATION OF Israel.

    Acts 15:14-17.

The context of my post is on a literal Kingdom here on earth and we are not the children/nation of Israel whom certain promises was given to.

    God bless.

Yes indeed - that is a powerful, yet comforting verse to remind us that HE IS Who He is & He WILL DO what He says. Psalm 51:17 promises us that, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." And when that brokeness & contrition are instigated by God's Spirit & we come to the Lord wholly dependent on Jesus' shed Blood to cleanse & bring forgiveness, we can be confident that God will do as He promises & will restore His erring child. Such great Love we receive from the Father towards His very own.

Also, whether it is coincidental or not, I took note of your moniker (EGLL), which is also the ICAO abbreviation for Heathrow Airport, London. Interesting.

We'll see more legislation against left and right. Algorithms are in use. Now is the dying moments of free speech.

I'm looking for evangelism to come back__when people speak to each other again. Our testimonies of how we came to believe in Jesus, are valuable.

It's sort of like Jonah. He wanted to run away from Gods call on his life. Eventually he complies, and a whole nation repented.

Social media has become too violent. I'm praying for more and more Bible websites like this one, to spring up.

Luke 11:30 - For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to THIS generation.

    Five Crowns in Heaven:

    The Imperishable Crown

    The Crown of Rejoicing

    The Crown of Righteousness

    The Crown of Glory

    The Crown of Life

The difference is, in Stephens day the crowds stoned people with actual stones. In 2022, they stone people with words. I think Jonah wasn't stoned. The story says the whole city (Google history) Repented.

We just have to figure out what 2022 looks like as far as:

    In the days of Noah

    In the days of Jonah
