Everybody has different answers for that. I turn to Genesis where God created man. What material was He using?

God FORMED (meaning molded) man from DUST. He made a clay with water. Scientists say our bodies are 50% water.

Then God breathed through Adams nose the breath of Gods life. Man became a living SOUL.

People get confused over Gen. 1:27 because here it says God created Adam "male & female". See Malachi 2:15 "ONE. A Pair.

Genesis 3:18 God purposes to make Adam a help, meet, for Adam.

Gen. 3:21 God opens Adam and takes a rib. God MADE a woman for Adam. They are "married" in verses 23-25

One=a man and a woman. But by the Books Leviticus and Deuteronomy, we see "perversions of the Plan of God". Which still persists in Romans chapter 1. Today it's different; people are having surgery. GOOD NEWS, They can still repent and be saved. God can't fix their bodies, but He will save their souls IF they repent.

Moses's writing of Genesis seems to skip around, but God told him how to write it down.

God planned that children would be born of one man and a woman. A pair. Married in covenant to each other.

Why different colors? God used dust because dust contains ALL colors. I'm an artist, and we use all mediums to make paint different colors and consistencies.

Eve came out of Adam, so her color was his color. Blending their DNA in a child, could produce a child of the color in that DNA. Colors, diseases, etc can happen if DNA is damaged somehow.

One color is not more precious to God. He wanted all colors, or he would've use just limestone or charcoal. He CHOSE DUST.

DNA is not a curse. It has a purpose. Love yourself and love God. Grace is unmerited favor. Ask God for more.

God picked Israel to be His peculiar people and shower His love on them. We don't know why now, but someday we will know. He asks us to pray for them and we do. We don't know why. He is the Creator. He doesn't load us up with a huge DO LIST every day. Just small requests. We need you to make contributions of your knowledge of what God is showing you, too.

Are there any instances in the Bible Where God allowed deceased loved ones to speak to someone in their dreams? Where where God used someone's deceased love ones to speak to them in a dream such as to warn them about some thing? Is this biblical or would it be from the enemy?

It means that if one has faith in God that He hears and answers back when one is asking something from Him then God will definitely answer back. So have faith in God that He will give you anything you ask for.

In Mark 9:23, Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.



So Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.



But look what the man says in Verse 24, and this is a beautiful, beautiful picture of how we ought to approach the Lord.

"And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."



Nowhere in the Bible does it challenge someone to come up with their own faith so that Jesus can perform in your life. That's the cry of a person. I believe, but Lord Help my unbelief because I can't believe. Only God can give me that. Help my unbelief!



It is always the strong point in a person's life when they can approach the Lord, even as a nonbeliever, even if you don't understand the things of God, you can still approach Him and say "Lord, if you are real, make yourself real to me!"



I mean, as a nonbeliever, as somebody who doesn't believe in God, you are asking God to do it all because you realize your human inability to figure Him out.

But how are you going to find God? How are you going to know about Him? You know, when you come to Him and say, help my unbelief, I am empty, magnify yourself to me, show yourself to me, because I don't have the ability to know, and He reaches down to those people to manifest Himself.

Lets go to Revelation 3:3

"Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee."

Reading that, it makes conclude that there is salvation in that church.

Now as far as the churches mentioned in Revelation are concerned, they were real churches at that time. Jesus pointed out their problems for them to repent. If now today many Christians take those things symbolic or that they represant churches during some periods of time, may be right maybe wrong, they are all assumptions. Some christians take it that way, others in another way. But the fact is that those churches existed at that time, so their pastors did. And Jesus addressed their real weaknesses.

Lets go to Philippians 2:12-13. The word that is in English "work out" is the Greek " katergasesthai" which means to work something to give it a shape. What shape? The shape (character) of Jesus Christ. But still it says to work having fear. What for? Also the word " pleasure" in verse 13 is wrong. The right translation is "will'.

The way I understand it is that since "the wage of sin is death" if smb sins and does not repent and stays in that attitude then his in a big trouble. God will do anything He can do to bring repentance to him ( this is when saying work in him) but He can not violate his free will, and if one chooses not to ever repent then the wage of his sin will be definitely death.(spiritual)

No apology needed. You did not misunderstand my post. I believe and meant what I said. I've looked at the two verses you've shared. Revelation 3:1, and Philippians 2:12.

Revelation 3:1-6 is the instruction to the church in Sardis. This is the reformation church from 1517 to 1700. This is in response to the practices in the church; infant baptism, you couldn't have house worship fellowships, the worship of Mary, etc. God has nothing good to say about this church.



The evaluation of the church: I know your works, that thou hast a name that you are living, but you are dead. So they had some kind of a name. They said we represent the living God, we serve the living Christ. (That's what they said). But he says spiritually you're dead. No salvation there!

But you cannot stop at Philippians 2:12. You must also include Philippians 2:13, and here's why: In Philippians 2:12 he praises them. He says you don't obey just when I'm there, but also when I'm not there, so here's what I want you to do. Here's the command, the salvation process. And notice the literal translation from the Greek text: Be continually working out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

It is a process. So from my earlier post, someone might say, "Now wait a minute now. I thought that we didn't have to work for our salvation?" We don't, and that's why I say that you can't separate Philippians 2:12 from the very next verse ( Philippians 2:13), which says, "For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."

You know the Greek, so I think you will know this: The word "works in you" is the word energizing. For it is God who is continually energizing in you both to will, and to energize of His good pleasure whatever He thinks best. It's His energy. It's whenever He wants to energize my spirit for His Spirit to work in me. It's all according to His good pleasure. It doesn't have anything to do with my good pleasure. I'm just a vessel.

It is sad that the ancient church broke down in tenths of branches with different teachings. But lets do some history to get to know some things better The first church was called by itself as Catholic and Apostolic. Maybe in English these words don't mean anything but in Greek Catholic means Universal and Apostolic because it has a mission (Apostole in Greek means mission). We can agree I think that there is nothing wrong with these words. When politics and ambitions came into that Church it was separated into two branches, the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church. That was done rouhly 1000 years after Christ. By that time the Church had gone miles away from the early church in terms of beliefs, teachings, way of life, etc. The R/Catholics included the term Catholic in their name to show that they represent the universal church but Orthodoxes never accepted that nor Pope as a their spiritual leader. Then from the R/Catholics Luther separated himself and the Protestant branch of Christianity started to form. Protestantism was not unified and eventually broke down in a big number of congregations with similar, but not the same, beliefs. And here we are now. I think it is not so important to quarrel about words. I do understand that reborn christians suffered a lot by the R/Catholics in the West. The same happened in the East, but by Orthodoxes this time. Those churches can not accept that have eventually failed in their mission to preach God's salvation. They stay in their traditions and history but offer nothing to people any more But we can use them as examples for what happens to a church when it doesn't stick to the teachings of Gospel and goes the world's way. I've read a lot about you of what you have posted so far. You have done a great work in your life. Surely there is a big wage for you in Heaven. Don't be sad about people that don't believe. You couldn't do anything more. You've been working your talent well.

Circular arguments on this topic remind me of an Abbott and Costello "who's on first" skit. In case anyone isn't aware, here are some scriptures describing one God with three components: father, son, and holy spirit. We likely will never 100% comprehend God nor should we expect to, but the fact is the Bible describes God as a triune Godhead, uses plural terms, says the three are "one", and I will trust God's Word over man's word. Christians will keep sharing the truth of the scriptures everytime someone tries to challenge God's word.

Alex, this will be my last reply on the subject as I can perceive that you seem very rooted in your belief despite not sharing any scripture to support it. 1 Corinthians 3:16 refutes the claim that satan is inside everyone.

Lots of assumptions were made in the last reply and this time it included a strawman argument: "You being a Christian should know this." I hope this assumption is only an honest mistake and not intended to be manipulative. Your words appear to keep conflating sin with satan. Curse of Adam is a curse and isn't the same as satan being inside a person. Sin isn't the same as satan being inside a person. No where in the Bible does it say satan is in everyone. Christians have the holy spirit within, not satan, as 1 Corinthians 3:16 says.

Here's another verse that refutes it: Matthew 7:18. Someone with the holy spirit dwelling doesn't also have satan dwelling.

Satan probably wants people to believe he is in them though. I can see that playing into his hand and he is the father of all lies. Luke 6:45. Isaiah 5:20. God bless.

I remember years ago driving by a church and there was this huge sign in front of the church that only had two words on it. I thought to myself that was silly to have such a huge sign and only put two words on it. And then I got to thinking, no, I am the one that is silly.

The sign said "Jesus Saves!" It got me to thinking. There is nothing I can do to save myself. Jesus saves people. And when He saves me, I am saved, eternally, everlasting! I have everlasting life. How long is everlasting life? It is not temporary. It's forever!

Don't let anyone try and take what you have (Christ) away from you. You have Christ living in you and He has promised to never leave you. As long as He is in you, you have eternal life (salvation). If Christ ever leaves you, then you've lost eternal life, you've lost Christ, because He is eternal life. He will never leave us and we cannot force Him to leave. That's how we know we have eternal life. That's how we know we can never lose salvation. If we lose salvation, then we've lost the eternal one that lives in us. Jesus says that will never happen!

But he was not a man after God's own heart, in other respects, wherein he performed his own will. In the matter of Uriah, for instance, he was as far from being a man after God's own heart as Saul himself was. It is therefore a very gross, as well as dangerous mistake, to suppose this is the character of David in every part of his behavior. It does seem as if the apostle and the disciple who Jesus loved , have gone out of their way to give David the preeminence over Mary. Would this be the condition of the treatment of woman during the time? Or is it possible that their theology could have been wrong? Not being led by the spirit accordingly. You've touched on something very important. Once we're saved, the battle that takes place is for our minds. Satan knows he has lost us forever to Christ, and he knows that he cannot take Christ away from us. But once we're saved, our next step is to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So what Satan do? He tries to keep our minds distracted so that we won't have time to study the word of God because without studying the word, there can be no growth. Satan puts doubt in a believers mind about their salvation. He is the one that wants us to believe we can lose Christ. God's Spirit in us would never do that.

Yes, In Hebrews 13, Jesus said I will never leave you nor forsake you, and that's very important to understand. I will NEVER leave you. That has a double negative in the Greek text. Jesus said I will never leave you. That is, I'll never leave if you tell me to, not ever, (double negative). Nor will I EVER forsake you, (triple negative in the Greek text). In Greek, this denotes the strongest impossibility of something ever happening. Jesus will NEVER leave you. It will never happen!

If salvation could be lost, that would mean it is something we did to lose it. However, if it is something we do to lose it, that would also mean that we have the power to break God's will. John 6:37 tells us that we are given to Jesus by the Father. And Jesus says all that the Father gives to Him, He will in (no wise) cast out.

We see God's will in John 6:39-40. Everybody that the Father draws will come, and everybody that comes to the Son, Jesus will lose no one. It is God's will that not one single person who He has given to Christ will ever be lost or cast out. So, if we believe that salvation can be lost, we must also believe that that we are capable of breaking God's will.

1Tim. 2:1 = I exhort therefore , that, first of all , supplications , prayers , intercessions , and giving of thanks , be made for all men.

Paul wrote this exhortation to Timothy, whom Paul commissioned as a spiritual leader among the saints and church at Ephesus to "charge some that they teach no other doctrine" (1:3). The force behind this exhortation is that every church pastor, teacher, and spiritual leader must adopt this same manner and habit of praying "for all men".

Supplications are the saints' highly emotional pleas to GOD to grant desperately needed requests that are far beyond the requesters' normal human resources. Supplications express an attitude of helplessness while begging GOD for HIS DIVINE intervention to supply urgent needs.

The general term "prayer" includes all addresses to GOD of every type and characteristic such as praise, confession, thanksgiving, rejoicing, interceding, and supplication.

The word "intercessions" describe praying on behalf of others for GOD to supply their needs. By interceding for all men, the praying intercessor acts on their behalf in the same manner The HOLY SPIRIT and CHRIST HIMSELF intercedes for the same before GOD The FATHER (e.g. Rom. 8:26-27; 8:34; Heb. 7:25).

The expression "giving of thanks" translates from the Greek verb root (transliterated "eucharisteo"; pronounced "yoo-khar-is-TEH-"), meaning ex-pressing deep heartfelt thanks. Its prefix "eu - " means "good" and "well" and implies an attitude of rejoicing. Thanksgiving describes sincere, heartfelt acknowledgment of appreciation to GOD. Scriptures record the term "thanksgiving" approximately twenty-seven times, and in each reference, it is linked with expressing thanksgiving to GOD during prayer (e.g. v.18).

Paul urge Timothy to pray with great emphasis and purpose for "all men" using the four types of prayer immediately listed. Synonyms for "exhort" include "appeal to", "encourage", and even "beg".

You are right on that, the mark will be ON the tight hand. But I would like to point out something that has to do with the word MARK. The Greek text uses the word CHARAGMA for MARK. Charagma is a mark done by engraving, not by stamping or drawing or anything else. Like the ancient people who used to engrave letters on clay tablets using a sharp pencil and then dry them to keep them as written records.

So it is a mark done by engraving. Engraving lines maybe like the Bar Code? Just a thought.

Dear Jesse, I think I am not in total agreement with you on this topic. Salvation is only from God? To me, no. It sounds extreme but let me explain myself. So far in my christian life I found out that everything that has to do with our relationship with God one part belongs to man to do it and another part belongs to God to do it. God's part, as far as salvation is concerned, was to send his Son to pay for our sins on the cross. Our part is to accept this sacrifice. Later in our christian life Jesus's blood is still available to people as long as they use It, that is repent for the sins they do and ask for forgiveness. If we don't repent then we walk on the edge. If we keep staying in an unrepentant condition then we walk on the edge, If we don't obey God's commandments then we walk on the edge. If we have not a pure heart and play with sin and our salvation then we walk on the edge.

Please read what Jesus tells that pastor of Sardis in Revelation 3:1 "And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou LIVEST and art DEAD". Has he lost salvation or not? The answer is as long as he stays unrepentant he is in danger of going to hell. If he dies at that moment in that condition he will go to eternal darkness, nomatter if he was once saved.

Also read Philippians 2:12 "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" Why fear and trembling? I think the answer is obvious.

So salvation is not ensured/secured as long as we are in this body/life.

Very true Jesus is life. Without Jesus not existing we wouldn't be here. Jesus does exists. Many people are going to try to tell you that God doesn't exist. But what scientists tell you or other human people that don't believe in God are trying to lead you wrong. Also Satan knows Jesus is real he just doesn't want others to know the truth. We have to walk by faith not by sight. Scientists and what they say and think always changes. But Jesus words never change nor Jesus himself. I know it's hard to believe but we must stay strong in our faith and we must know what we are thinking or saying. I would advise you to stay more in God's words. Cause that's what is going to help, and pray more Jesus wants to know your struggles he loves and cares for you. Also I was struggling through the same thing you were. And I had to keep on praying and having faith. When the devil bothers you tell Satan to flee from you. Say this - In the name of Jesus Christ get behind me Satan in the name of Jesus. And he will flee from you he will leave you alone. Also prayer also helps and so does bible scriptures.
